I know. You want Auburn football. Here is some Auburn football for you.

Some have suggested that Ziemba is responsible for the injury because he was using unethical techniques. Asked if he had done anything wrong during the play, Ziemba said: ``No. I was working hard ... high intensity level. That's what Coach Nall teaches."
Ziemba said he apologized to Coleman and added: "We're alright."

The real issue is the Grade 3 separate he suffered in October. Todd said in passing that he's only been rehabbing the shoulder for a month, which struck me as odd. I asked him a follow-up question on that issue. He indicated that, based on information he'd been given prior to his arrival at Auburn, he had been using improper rehab techniques that weren't eliciting improvement. He expects to resume a throwing program soon. He didn't provide a date.

Not to start anything, but from what I hear, the paRoll tide is trying to blame shift the recent events as being more of a City of Tuscaloosa problem that a University of Alabama problem, complete with the accusations of racial profiling. Now while there may be some truth in all of that, I think they should be real careful. First thing you know, 48 hours will be down here doing a story. Wouldn't that be just great. Yes, it would be another reason to be proud to be from Alabama.
ReplyDeleteJust handle your business and let it go man.
I'm riveted by this possible connection between Lauren Burk's murder and the gal at UNC. Isn't this absolutely nuts?
ReplyDeleteYes it is nuts. You know, about a year ago another girl was killed at Auburn but never found. They did find her burned up car however.
ReplyDeleteIs there a nut on the loose?
Ah Mr. Tony Franklin front page on ESPN.COM college football page.
ReplyDeleteMark Schlabach was hanging around practice on Thursday morning, so I knew something was headed for ESPN.com.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know it would be so quick.
How does Jared Cooper look....He was a big pick up and could take over for Pugh when he moves over when Bosley Graduates. Also what is going on with Brett Eddins? He was a huge recruit that hasn't done anything since he got to Auburn. Sounds like this Olanjubtu (spelling that was hard) is having a coming out party.
ReplyDeleteAtlantaTiger, it's Olatunji.
ReplyDeletePhred, the girl you're thinking of is officially "missing." There's absolutely zero proof she was killed, though I'm sure most people assume that's what it was.
Jay, there's no such word as "alright."
I really do feel better now.
alright then.
ReplyDeleteJay G ... nice job on the radio today.
Tuscaloosa is a dump, Phred. I would blame as much as I could on that fine place.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the latest developments on the UNC girl? Are they seeing a connection? I've been slammed busy all week with little access to the news.
Franklin is not on the front page anymore. Was this today?
ReplyDeleteJared Cooper is a freshman. A redshirt freshman. What has he not done?
ReplyDeleteBoobs
ReplyDeleteWhat is wrong with chaz ramsey? I'm assuming he is injured but i never heard what was wrong with him. Do you think Isom could swipe his spot this fall?
ReplyDeleteand miles is still holding the grenade in his mouth... he is going on three weeks now somebody call the guiness book
ReplyDeleteAlso i didn't like the "stuck in time" episode. I can handle the smoke monster, i can handle the electromagnetic hatch and the polar bears on the tropical island are a brilliant touch, but the line has to be drawn somewhere. And for me the line falls right before time travel/decade jumping.
You knew there was some kind of time/space continuum issues at play. The island is shielded from the outside world and there is a pirate ship in the jungle and polar bears and Locke's dad just appeared one day.
ReplyDeleteI'm still doing OK with the show. If it gets much more sci-fi, though, I may fall off the bandwagon.
Also, here is the Webster's passage on the word "alright":
The form alright as a one-word spelling of the phrase all right in all of its senses probably arose by analogy with such words as already and altogether. Although alright is a common spelling in written dialogue and in other types of informal writing, all right is used in more formal, edited writing.
This blog counts as "other types of informal writing."
Thanks for your critical eye, though.
ues the force Luke ...
ReplyDeleteyour friend,
yoda
Wow - that little Emanuel Lewis has quite the vocabulary!
ReplyDeleteMuch more well-spoken than Gary Coleman......
That freshman high school QB from south Georgia, Nick Marshall, looks like he has a lot of potential.
