Troy coach Larry Blakeney, Tony Franklin's former supervisor, says Auburn fans must learn patience to appreciate what Franklin eventually will accomplish on the Plains.
Big up to Brad Harper, who scooted over the Montgomery QB Club meeting tonight to snag this interview.
Enjoy.
sweet bonus vid. props to your peep.
ReplyDeleteBlakeney is a BIG believer in Tony Franklin.
ReplyDeleteWhen Franklin left for Auburn, Blakeney promoted Franklin's protege to keep things running similarly.
Patience is hard thing to teach a fan base during LSU week.
ReplyDeleteJay,
ReplyDeleteNice Video... Coach Blakeney is correct we need to have patience and let CTT & CTF go throught their learning pains and we will get it together...
Awesome video!
ReplyDeleteYa know I have a feeling, its that same feeling i had the week before Florida last year. I was right.
ReplyDeleteWas your feeling that we would rely on a freshman kicker to kick 2 FG's as time expired?
ReplyDeleteIf so, then I'm not sure what to tell you.
Hard to believe the line is only LSU -2 after last week.
Blakeney is telling the truth, big time SEC fans know nothing of patience.
Well this year he is a sophmore.
ReplyDeleteimpatient or not.. chris todd still has a noodle arm
ReplyDeleteposting from NYC. just watched the Yankees beat the Whitesox. Sat about 12 rows behind home plate on the first base side. Got some cool pics to share later. This place is awesome. I could live here. was hoping to see Jeter break Gehrigs hitting record tonight but no luck. 0 for 4.
ReplyDeleteGreat snag on the vid Jay.
ReplyDeleteHe is right, as a whole - myself included - we are not a very patient lot. Instant Gratification.... Product of the times....
"Live from New York, It's.....Pred?"
ReplyDelete:) keep representing the AU in the NYC.
Jay,
ReplyDeleteIs that the Teflon Don, Don Gotti, whew, who dresses Coach Blakeney. Yea, I believe it will take time. So far it has worked for Troy. They hired his understudy who is like 28 years old, only because he knew system almost as well as Franklin.
damn, i needed to hear something like that. Thanks Jay!
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna go ahead and predict the winner of this game has no more than 3 scores total.
