Radio appearance forthcoming

For those of you who subscribe to the HABOTN via RSS -- and therefore receive your HOTNESS immediately -- I will be on WMSP 740 later this hour.

They called around 8. I guess the appointment of Chris Todd as starter is big enough to summon me for another segment. Tune in for another 8 minutes of adversarial chatter.

  2. On that tip ... just not impressed with the pace of Auburn's offense last week. We've talked a lot about the passing-game problems, but one thing that stuck out to me was how slowly (relatively speaking) Auburn's offense moved last weekend.

I watched it run with a significantly faster pace in two-a-days.

    First-game jitters? I dunno.

Jay - Are Coach Tubs/Franklin going to be able to get this offense focused? Was it the QB unknown, jitters, lack of focus or a scaled back offensive plan?

There is going to have to be marked improvement this Saturday or this situation could get ugly. It's a disappointment, offensively, so far, due to so much emphasis being put on a quick start. Thoughts?

The no huddle was non existent for the most part. Execution was as poor as I've ever seen.

Per Chris Todd starting, Jay, they'll take anything for a story won't they? I guess this means we plan on running a great deal and throwing multiple screen passes vs. So. Miss. If Brad, Dunn, and Crew can catch the ball the passing numbers won't look so awful.

  5. I agree to start Chris adn try to get a rhythm.... i think both he and Kodi, before he got hurt they were getting a rhythm.... we will see what progress they make from game 1 to 2

  6. I have some stuff going on at the moment, but I'll be back around 2 and we'll get a dialog going about this QB situation.

Kodi Burns is going to be the guy. Soon.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

  8. Jay,

I've been reading the blog for several weeks and I really enjoy it. It's good stuff.

Look forward to the commentary later about the quarterbacks.
