Auburn wins this game by at least 14. I know Vandy is a great story and everybody loves the weak puppy thats been kicked around for decades, but seriously, I can't figure out why people would honestly think that our defense won't completly overwhelm them.
I am still saying AU 31 Vandy 6, maybe 10. Definitely a FG, most likely two, but they may get a FG and TD.
Jay G.
Do you think it is a pride thing with CTF that he is so unwilling to adapt 'his' offense to suit what he has to work with. I think to be 4-1 at this point in time is very fortunate. UT, man did they have talent, they are going to surprise some people if they don't just quit. What did they other UT beat writers say about UTs underacheivement this year?
Where does Vandy get 17 pts with that offense? Their defense "ain't bad" but it's the worst in the league so far with maybe the easiest schedule to date.
Crimson WNSP in Mobile has Vandy and the points and Alabama beating the 16+ pt spread vs. UK because Alabama is easily the best team in the country. This was made evident by the first half of the Bama/UGA game and the fact that Nick Saban said last night on 'Hey Coach' that it was only human nature for them to give up so many second half points in the secind half.
i think we 'should' win by 2-3 TD's but i want to see a bit more before i keep on predicting blow-outs. i've been thinking things would open up the past 2 weeks and have been disappointed. i'm sticking with 21-13. please CTF, prove me wrong.
i meant to add i was digging the soccer jersey in the 'moving pictures' video. my sis got me a couple of rugby jerseys from Australia and Sri Lanka. they're pretty pimp too.
I've enjoyed some of his articles. My favorite was the one where he makes a reference to George Bush being as dumb as a fence post. I've always thought he was an Auburn fan though.
Haha, it didn't. My granddad is a die hard democrat and he has followed Josh Moon's articles ever since he read that one. That probably didn't go well with the rest of the folks in Alabama though.
Peter, do you have a problem with DC United or what?
As far as the movie reviews, I'm afraid "Moons on Movies" didn't have the internal support I felt it richly deserved. Thinking outside the box generally isn't in a newspaper's DNA.
I mean, this blog doesn't enjoy much internal support. I do this because I heart the HOTTIES, it's fun and I believe, as an employee of the Advertiser, that I should find ways to make the paper more useful/meaningful to you.
The numbers and enthusiasm we have cultivated here defy the haters every single day. The haters desperately want to say stuff, but they really can't.
speaking of HOT, i just got me a new pimptastic LG phone perfect for texting my favorite HOTTIES and receiving those wonderful TWITTER messages i love so much. i wanted a fancy Blackberry but i couldn't justify $24.99 a month for the internet. i don't need it for work.

I think he's trying to adapt his offense to the personnel. It's just not going all that well, obviously.
ReplyDeleteI didn't talk with any UT beat writers. I get pretty consumed in monitoring everything Auburn on game days.
Is Moon an Auburn fan?

This is all relevant. I know.
Jay G & Josh Moon in glorious moving pictures.

ReplyDeleteJosh is a Josh fan.
ReplyDeleteHe's a promoter.
Sri Lankan rugby jersey sounds exotic.

ReplyDeleteI don't think the column mentioned Bush by name. That was important to Josh's defense of the column.

ReplyDeleteWhen is Josh going to do more movie reviews? Did he suddenly decide that it was beneath him now?
ReplyDeleteJoe B and I talk about hunting and fishing on our radio show and nobody thinks less of us for doing it.
ReplyDeleteWas the soccer jersey necessary? Is that what hip sports reporters wear these days?
ReplyDeleteEntertaining, as always, video, now that I was able to block out the soccer jersey and watch it....

The HABOTN is too HOT.

ReplyDeletehow's that new iphone working out for ya JG?
Jay G,
ReplyDeleteI don't even know what the DC United is...
I kid, I kid. I respect soccer, I guess, but I enjoy giving soccer fans in the US, particularly in the South, a hard time.
Who are these "Haters," and how can we further defy them? I want names!
I didn't realize it was a soccer jersey. I thought maybe you used to work at Volkswagon.
ReplyDeleteTHE HABOTN is so hot, I just heard Joe Dean say" Someone call the Montgomery Fire Department, because Jay G. Tate is FIIIIRRREEE!!
ReplyDeleteThe iPhone is working out as expected.
ReplyDeleteBattery life is BAD. I mean ... we're talking about 12 hours max without a charge. It's a bummer.
It's neat, though, and works well with the Apple equipment I already own.
