You really can't be pissed about this. It is becoming expected. Lets just remember that these are a bunch of kids playing for Auburn who works their butts off. They have not been put in a good situation this year. Please avoid calling out players if you can.
Sorry Eddie, gotta disagree. Maybe they've been working hard up til this point but tonite they didn't look like they wanted to play at all in the 2nd half.
I've been in Tubs corner. Not after this fiasco. I've never seen a team give up like this. It is very sad. We need a full game plan and coaches who can change it if need be. Toomer's Corner needs some tissue. :(
No need for cussing. Just another typical performance. I would love to hear the halftime speeches from this year. They come out so flat time after time.
I feel sorry for the players. The coaches just were so unprepared. Have been all year. They got too complacent. I think it's time to move on. I'm just numb to it all now.
sometimes its hard to tell on tv......... was there any attempt to open it up in the second half? any deep pass plays that were simply covered and therefore no actual throws down the field?
That was probably one of the most terrible defensive 2nd halves I've seen from Auburn in a Long time... It just seemed like some of the players just gave up. You can't blame this loss on coaching... the players seemed to just accept going 4-4. Burns played real well though, which is nice to see good quarterbacking from AU this season.
Ive watched hundred of Auburn games and never seen a single one that the team absolutely quit in. This one packs it in WITH THE LEAD. I said last week this game would determine the future of Tubbs and the Auburn program. Team that quits on their coach=new coach.
Is Tubs still convinced that running from the shotgun is the answer? It's clear that running the ball is all we have on offense and it was working pretty well from the I formation and one back set in the first half. It seems like he just wants to convince recruits that we're still going to run the spread offense. Is he so convinced that he can't be fired?
CTTs "amazing career of winning at Auburn" consists of 2 trips to Atlanta and a whole boatload of choking over 10 years.
There are some in the AU family that are happy with a win over bammer every year. I for one think it's ok to expect something more.
I grew up in an era where CPD made Auburn an SEC contender year in and year out. I expect the same from CTT and that just hasn't been the case (see the aforementioned choke jobs).
What happens in the locker room? Do they make adjustments? Or do they just sit around for 20 minutes? Or maybe they catch a few games of NCAA 09 or COD4...
Back in 2003, I happened to be travelling down to AU three times a week for several weeks (Yellow lab being treated for cancer at the Vet school there). Actually saw CTT at the McD's on Wire Rd. and felt a little sorry for him then with Jetgate and all going on.
Needless to say, any sympathy I might have felt for the man is GONE!
Tubs will be fired sometime before the Bama game, while some may think it will look bad to fire him midseason, I think it would look even worse to fire him after beating bama 7 straight years. It's unlikely that we beat bama, unless we take phreds approaching of forfeiting all the games until then and totally revamping the offense with the assistance of Lane Kiffin. However, you can't take the chance that we might beat them, stranger things have happened.
or you listen to That's the Way of The World, by that all time cool daddy band,,Earth WInd and FIre.

I STILL think this season means Tommy Tuberville is done. He's lost it guys and it may be something we (Auburn fans) don't won't to acknowledge but if its done QUICK, Auburn stays in the SEC HUNT for years on eand.
Let it DIE ON THE VINE --- 8 years at least til we're competitive.
I would be suprised if he makes it through the week. Folks simply have gotten to comfortable and complacent in their jobs. It wasn't by accident we ran to the right side of the line all night. Moreover, I think the grandmother of an unnamed kicker could make more field goals.
Monica i visited Huntington WVA to see my good friend Roy Kidd of EKU get screwed over in a 1AA playoff game in a COLD day. THe only color seemed like the ice blue sky. Very rustbelt.
Anybody got any ideas why we couldn't use Tristan Davis like they used Devine? Did he ever line up at tailback tonight? I know there was the one wheel route play (hey Al Borges). I guess Eric Smith is ahead of him on the depth chart, go figure.
It is like in the mini series where Kunta Kinte says to Fiddler, Grits Dummy. Fiddler said I am just to believe you are repeating words you heard and you don't really mean that.
It was partly his own doing in 2004. Just barely winning wasn't good enough when he could have been winning big instead of sitting on leads and playing defense.
I have supported tubs. I thought that Kodi looked to be making plays- some good throws, some touch. Then he short arms one to Trott- which woudln't have gotten the 1st down anyway. And tubs lets loose on the obscenities from the hash to the bench? Coach the kids up. Don't take out your frustration on them. That's when I got OK with what is going to happen in either days or weeks. uncalled for.
I really don't feel like chatting much. I have never seen a runningback do that to an Auburn defense. Herschel Walker didn't come close. It was incredible.
I realize Davis may not be the best back, but it seemed like all WV did was let Noel devine run a sweep and watch him go. Maybe I'm just making it too simple, or else our defense just didn't think that little guy could run that fast. I would have rather seen Brad Lester get more carries too. He seemed to disappear after the first half until near the end of the game.
The play that sucked the life out of AUBURN and re-energized the WVU crowd ----------- As stooooopid a call as ANYTHING Tony Frankiln did at any point ---------
AU gets an onsides kick up 17-3.
Oh no. Don't run the Mmmmm FFFFF ''n football. Don't establish a dominant position on the LINE!!!!
Oh no.....No. Don't get 4-5-6 yards per carry and put it away byu the mid-way point.
Tuberville's CAREER at Auburn IA/WAS the doubl;e friggin reverse after the onsides kick that lots 15 yards.....or 10 yards....or WHAT EVER THE HELL
well, now i think tuberville will be gone. here is CFN's potential list for clemson. who would you like here if CTT does move on....
1. Will Muschamp 2. Lane Kiffin 3. Bobby Johnson, Vanderbilt head coach 4. Brent Venables, Oklahoma defensive coordinator 5. Jim McElwain, Alabama offensive coordinator 6. Jim Grobe, Wake Forest head coach 7. Al Golden, Temple head coach 8. Bill Cowher, CBS studio analyst
wdewg..... those players need someone getting in their face and telling them that they sucked out there... they're grown men and can handle when someone gets all on them. They're not some 9th grade girls volleyball team who starts crying because you don't tell them good job after they win.... I'm sorry but it seemed like the players just said, "Hey whatever.... i just hope we stop at applebees on the way home."
ok. guys, take a deep breathe I have. All of you guys calling for Tubbs head are idiots, you are talking emotions right now.
Answer me this:
1. Did Tubbs go out and kick that missed field goal?
2. Did Tubbs miss 3,434 tackles tonight?
3. Did Tubbs get out of position 99% of the time on passing plays?
The answer is no...the defense played its worse game I have seen since the Arkansas McFadden game of 3 years ago.
Tell me coaches, fire Tubbs, we lose tons of recruits, we cant fina good coach b/c we have a reputation of micromanaging, we fire the man that beat our rival 6 years st8, it will take 5 years to rebuild our program, our you guys ready for that....i think not...wake up and get your head out of your asses....
Did Tubbs explain why we started running left and right instead of north and south even though it worked? Did someone switch Ensminger's playbook with Franklin's at halftime?
PDWT, I'd rather rebuild for 5 years than continue the close but no cigar trail we've been on. Tubs may not have missed the field goal and tackles, but who's leading the team? He's gone, there's no way he survives this, period.
Turkey, lots of love bro but a ten year tenured coach with plenty of talent and a favorable home schedule doesn't have a losing season and keep his job, period.
My reaction to CTT is not based on one game. It is based on a STEADY DECLINE of the AU football program since 2004, culminating in this years debacle. Go look at our SEC record from 2004 through this year and tell me what you see?
I don't care about simply beating our "rival" 6 times in a row. I CARE about getting to Atlanta and playing for conference championships.
Nah Dawg..... don't know who Josh Moon is.... but he sounds like a fag... I'm just wondering why all these people are screaming TUBS TUBS TUBS!!! When it was clearly an effort problem in the 2nd half
ok, well u fire tubbs, u lose half the recruits right off the bat, any jrs that might have stayed go pro, we bring in new coach, if..if...we even get a good one, which we wont, we will have millions of dollars wrapped up in coaches that arent working, no coach will come here with out history of micro managing(lowder), plus the new coach has to hire people, bring in his system, that will take time. We just fired our OFf Coordinator and best coach and you r telling me auburn fans will be patient to wait and see if we get better, it takes time to build a program.. plain and simple. You fire Tubbs I and many others will give up their season tickets and the stands will be empty.
Rk, speed kills. Tristan Davis has tons of it. That's why he is a good KR. That's why he should touch the ball some on offense. There's no evidence anywhere that backs up your claim that Tristan isn't the player everyone thinks he is.
I mean, don't you think Tate is a good tailback? That guy's good maybe, maybe in some small midwestern school.
For Fannin and Lester not to own the touches in the second half shows just how incompetent this staff has become. Where are Auburn's athletes?
Crickets...
Where are Auburn's athletes?
I see Fannin every once in a while. I see Burns. I see Tristan Davis again finally. Guess what? That's it!
Auburn doesn't have any top athletes on offense besides those guys.
The Tuberville formula for football only works when you have great athletes on both sides of the ball. And he hasn't recruited well enough in two years to sustain anything.
Explain how this situation is that much different that what happened at Bama. It took Saban one year to turn the mess that Shula left into a NC contender.
We have plenty of talent. They aren't getting any coaching.
This will be the 3rd time in the last six years that we were picked to win the West and didn't.
I've heard the Tristan and Fannin thing for so long, but I haven't seen them do anything.
Have they been given the chance? Probably not, but if they are the players a lot of people on the net seem to think they are, then someone has to ask the coaches why they aren't getting the touches.
Yes, Tristan is fast, but are there reasons that he isn't out there that we don't know about?
Ziemba!!!!!
ReplyDeleteExpect a lot of twitter feeds this week.
ReplyDeleteI'm all out of rants. Not a whole lot more to say.
ReplyDeleteAt this point cursing about it just seems hollow.
ReplyDeleteComplacency is an evil thing.
why is ziemba even playing sit him out for a couple of games.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about Tubs, but I think I just had a stroke.
ReplyDeleteI think we should forfeit the next three games and spend the next month getting ready for Bama. That's all that's left to play for at this point.
ReplyDeleteWell, we got our heads handing to us on the road against an "inferior" team from an "inferior" conference.
ReplyDeleteYou really can't be pissed about this. It is becoming expected. Lets just remember that these are a bunch of kids playing for Auburn who works their butts off. They have not been put in a good situation this year. Please avoid calling out players if you can.
ReplyDeletePathetic, just pathetic.
ReplyDeleteJay G, who are serious candidates? No way Tubs survives this unless he gets the opportunity to play Bama and beats them 120-0.
ReplyDeleteSo Ziemba can try to kill his own teammate, but really plays week against people he doesn't know?
ReplyDeleteThat was awful.
Coaches, not players
ReplyDeleteTubs has completely lost this team.
ReplyDeletePhred has a great point, lets sit out until Bama.
ReplyDeleteWhat do we do during halftime. Sit in a freakin' circle and sing Kum Ba Yah?
ReplyDeleteI approve phred's comment...
ReplyDeleteno, seriously.
3 straight losses...to teams we really should be beating...to teams that we had double digit leads on.
ReplyDeleteJust amazing.
No more Big East teams please.
ReplyDeleteTubs is gone.
ReplyDeleteKinda sad, but true, true, true.
I agree 100% Eddie. This isn't on the players, it's on the incompetence and complacency that permeates our coaching staff.
ReplyDeleteSorry Eddie, gotta disagree. Maybe they've been working hard up til this point but tonite they didn't look like they wanted to play at all in the 2nd half.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we should go ahead and take the Bama game off, too.
ReplyDeleteI guess the defense gave up with the Vandy game thinking, "What's the use?"
ReplyDeleteThey really stunk....as did the O.
Bye bye Tommy.
ReplyDeleteButch Davis today, Butch Davis tomorrow Butch Davis FRICKING NOW!
I've been in Tubs corner. Not after this fiasco. I've never seen a team give up like this. It is very sad. We need a full game plan and coaches who can change it if need be. Toomer's Corner needs some tissue. :(
ReplyDeleteWe are seriously going to go 5-7, this is painful. Someone is looking stupid for upping Tubs contract after last season.
ReplyDeleteLets just forfeit bama and not give them the satisfaction of beating us on the field
ReplyDeleteSorry guys. After going through the end of the Shula era, I feel your pain.
ReplyDeletethis team has completely quit on CTT. they could care less, there is internal division on the team, and they just don't care and it shows
ReplyDeleteWe would be fools to let CTT go in mid season.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, if he makes the right changes he should stay he has earned that... say what you will he has had an amazing career of winning at auburn.
this team needs to focus on getting something out of this season.
Fake Steve, I know you know the pain, brother. Thanks for being classy.
ReplyDeleteLike I said...this was a lot like the Vandy game.
ReplyDeleteWe jump out big early and then just stop.
The only difference is WVU has an offense where Vandy didn't.
time to get to the whiskey bottle
ReplyDeleteNo need for cussing. Just another typical performance. I would love to hear the halftime speeches from this year. They come out so flat time after time.
ReplyDeleteNo, Auburn shouldn't have won that game. The only way we got the points that we did was because of the breaks we caught tonight.
ReplyDeleteAuburn was dominated on both sides of the ball, they didn't deserve to win anything.
I feel sorry for the players. The coaches just were so unprepared. Have been all year. They got too complacent. I think it's time to move on. I'm just numb to it all now.
ReplyDeletesometimes its hard to tell on tv......... was there any attempt to open it up in the second half? any deep pass plays that were simply covered and therefore no actual throws down the field?
ReplyDeleteTim, have you watched any games this year? We already look like fools.
ReplyDeleteCan anyone honestly tell me that the horrible tackling by the D had anything to do with coaching?
ReplyDeleteI'm watching the replay of what I missed
ReplyDeletewe look lost on defense
Later all...
ReplyDeletehoney, where did I put that hemlock?
WDE TIM!!!!!!!!!!!
Can we beat UT Martin? They are beating Jack State
ReplyDeleteBBq boys have to go or Tubbs and bbq boys have to go.
ReplyDeleteTo say the players don't care is silly, in my opinion.
ReplyDeletebad offense or not, the second half of these games amaze me
ReplyDeleteA lot of offensive playmakers on one side of the field tonight.
ReplyDeleteHey guys...you know what I see? I see alot of QUITTER in the entire Auburn staff, coaches and players.
ReplyDeleteThat was probably one of the most terrible defensive 2nd halves I've seen from Auburn in a Long time...
ReplyDeleteIt just seemed like some of the players just gave up. You can't blame this loss on coaching... the players seemed to just accept going 4-4. Burns played real well though, which is nice to see good quarterbacking from AU this season.
Hafta drink a few more beers to wash the taste of vomit out of my mouth. Yep, after watching the end of the game, I threw up in my mouth a little bit.
ReplyDeleteIt was one thing to lose tonight...but to be embarassed with such bad play.
ReplyDeleteThat is the nail in Tub's coffin.
I have been a CTT supporter, but we need a complete overhaul. This is almost as bad as 98.
ReplyDeleteWhatever info I get on AU from here on out will be delivered via the hotties. I won't be watching anymore games. I can't bear it. It is no fun.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to see another blitz this year. We have been beaten time after time when we blitz.
ReplyDeleteDefense won't takle, offense won't block, and they look like quitters.
ReplyDeleteIve watched hundred of Auburn games and never seen a single one that the team absolutely quit in. This one packs it in WITH THE LEAD. I said last week this game would determine the future of Tubbs and the Auburn program. Team that quits on their coach=new coach.
ReplyDeleteIs Tubs still convinced that running from the shotgun is the answer? It's clear that running the ball is all we have on offense and it was working pretty well from the I formation and one back set in the first half. It seems like he just wants to convince recruits that we're still going to run the spread offense. Is he so convinced that he can't be fired?
ReplyDeleteP-O-O-R
ReplyDeleteTim,
ReplyDeleteCTTs "amazing career of winning at Auburn" consists of 2 trips to Atlanta and a whole boatload of choking over 10 years.
There are some in the AU family that are happy with a win over bammer every year. I for one think it's ok to expect something more.
I grew up in an era where CPD made Auburn an SEC contender year in and year out. I expect the same from CTT and that just hasn't been the case (see the aforementioned choke jobs).
It is time for a change.
(throws up)
ReplyDeletei have no words
Can I rethink the support for CTT?
ReplyDeleteHey Ziemba..the games already over.
ReplyDeleteI'm not able to see downfield but do Auburn's receivers run 10 yards and stop.
ReplyDeleteOr are they the slowest bunch around?
Or is Burns just unable to pull the trigger?
Ditto on every single word James just said.
ReplyDeleteMonica, I hate to say this - but you are just flat wrong. What you saw tonight was called "laying down."
ReplyDeleteWhere can I send my small contribution to the buyout fund?
ReplyDeleteguys, Tubs is DONE.
ReplyDeleteHe showed emotin tonight but its a LOSS to Vandy and a LOSS to the very worst team in this conference TOO LATE.
Butch Butch Butch Davis Davis Davis
This reminds me of the UGA game last year... we lead that game in the 3rd quarter 20-17 and suddenly it was over 45-20.
ReplyDeleteWhat happens in the locker room? Do they make adjustments? Or do they just sit around for 20 minutes? Or maybe they catch a few games of NCAA 09 or COD4...
ReplyDeletePhred - ok
ReplyDeleteWow...where do we go from here?
ReplyDeleteJosh man, players accepting going 4-4 aint a player problem brother...its a coaching problem.
ReplyDeleteIn the words of Jim Morrison
ReplyDelete"This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes...again
Can you picture what will be
So limitless and free
Desperately in need...of some...stranger's hand
In a...desperate land
Lost in a Roman...wilderness of pain
And all the children are insane
All the children are insane
Waiting for the summer rain, yeah
There's danger on the edge of town
Ride the King's highway, baby
Weird scenes inside the gold mine
Ride the highway west, baby"
hoenstly when is tubs out?
ReplyDeleteTen years is a good run.
ReplyDeleteHad some big wins, big losses.
At least Tubs leaves with no probation saddled on the team and for that I thank him.
Josh...I think the team tries to figure out what is for dinner on the way home at halftime.
ReplyDeletecould be tomorrow
ReplyDeleteI think Ole Miss will be just as embarrasing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a complete and utter embarrasment to the program..and big ups to the program at WV.
ReplyDeleteGood tune Denny... think I'll spin that one up in the Ipod.
ReplyDeleteBack in 2003, I happened to be travelling down to AU three times a week for several weeks (Yellow lab being treated for cancer at the Vet school there). Actually saw CTT at the McD's on Wire Rd. and felt a little sorry for him then with Jetgate and all going on.
ReplyDeleteNeedless to say, any sympathy I might have felt for the man is GONE!
you'll have to tell me about it dan, cause I will be doing something else
ReplyDeleteKodi Burns on radio now. Where's Tommy?
ReplyDeleteTime for Jay G. to get an apartment near campus, because he'll be spending even more time than usual there in the next few weeks.
ReplyDeleteWe have no playmakers and no killer instinct.
Tub gets interviewd after the players...it's been that way for a decade.
ReplyDeleteJames where are you hearing Denny. I don't have a grasp of where all of y'all work. There should be a newcomers organizational chart.
ReplyDeleteHey...when you don't QUIT/LAY DOWN as WV did, you can be competitve and when games.
ReplyDeleteTubs will be fired sometime before the Bama game, while some may think it will look bad to fire him midseason, I think it would look even worse to fire him after beating bama 7 straight years. However, you can't take the chance that we might beat them, stranger things have happened.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't this be a little more bearable if a certain team wasn't 7-0?
ReplyDeletelol nevermind
ReplyDeleteNo, it would still suck just the same no matter what other people are doing.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see some of you hotties finally come to the realization that Tubs has never been a championship coach.
ReplyDeleteYep. Tubs is next. I forgot. This should be interesting.
ReplyDeleteIm with you Phred, just have to read the paper on Sunday or watch Sportscenter.
ReplyDeleteEddie they might be thinking about what they want for Christmas during halftime...
ReplyDeleteI didn't hear him, he just posted some lyrics to a Doors song "The End".
ReplyDeleteKind of a melancholy tune that fits my mood right now.
or you listen to That's the Way of The World, by that all time cool daddy band,,Earth WInd and FIre.
ReplyDeleteHearts of fire creates love desire
Take you high and higher to the world you belong
Hearts of fire creates love desire

We’ve come together on this special day

Future pass, they disappear
You will find peace of mind
If you look way down in your heart and soul
Don’t hesitate ‘cause the world seems cold
Stay young at heart ‘cause you’re never (never, never, ..) old at heart
That’s the way of the world
Plant your flower and you grow a pearl
A child is born with a heart of gold

I give you, ala Don Cornelius, Peace, Love and SOUL!!!!!
I'll say this.
ReplyDeleteHad Aubrun won the national Championship in 04 - which I consider a championship season....

ReplyDeleteWho cares? Look how utterly terrible this team is...one side gets it together, and the other side flops.
ReplyDeleteJosh..they will have a lot of time to think about and enjoy Christmas this year.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone hear CTT say that he was going to "Open it up" in the second half. What second half is he talking about?
ReplyDeleteMonica i visited Huntington WVA to see my good friend Roy Kidd of EKU get screwed over in a 1AA playoff game in a COLD day. THe only color seemed like the ice blue sky. Very rustbelt.
ReplyDeleteYeah, jrmax, denial can be a painful thing.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're right RK, it does suck...sucks with the gravitational pull of a black hole.
"8 years at least til we're competitive"
ReplyDeleteNo confidence in the players we have and our ability to get a good coach, huh?
Tubs is dead. Long live the Tubby Tubby Tubb Tubb
ReplyDeleteAnybody got any ideas why we couldn't use Tristan Davis like they used Devine? Did he ever line up at tailback tonight? I know there was the one wheel route play (hey Al Borges). I guess Eric Smith is ahead of him on the depth chart, go figure.
ReplyDeleteIt is like in the mini series where Kunta Kinte says to Fiddler, Grits Dummy. Fiddler said I am just to believe you are repeating words you heard and you don't really mean that.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so that was one of the ones it would have taken to get to 7-5.
ReplyDeleteBest we do now is 6-6.
who thinks we beat Ole Miss
ReplyDeleteBrian, he did open it up...it was just on the defensive side of the ball.
ReplyDeletehow about UGA?
ReplyDeleteIf Tubs does make it another week, how much would Ole Miss love to put the final nail in the pine box?
ReplyDeleteIt was partly his own doing in 2004. Just barely winning wasn't good enough when he could have been winning big instead of sitting on leads and playing defense.
ReplyDeleteTubs knows how to beat BAMA. Six straight. Surely he will pull that one out.
ReplyDeleteBrian, opening it up means all spread formations. How exciting!
ReplyDeleteTristan Davis isn't the player people seem to think he is.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why he's gotten all the love over one game vs Kentucky.
He's a good KR.
who knows... we might even have a chance to get into the papa johns bowl... I hear its getting pretty prestigious
ReplyDeleteDang, I hate those pesky players from UT-Martin. I fear the UT-MArtin
ReplyDeletegood one kris..guess i should've been paying attention;)
ReplyDeleteLOL, good point Bob. It will have truly come full circle then!
ReplyDelete6-6 is a pipe dream.
ReplyDeleteFEAR The UT MARTIN
ReplyDeleteOle Miss will probably have a pine box at the stadium
ReplyDeleteUnlike the defense.
ReplyDeleteNeiko Thorpe got hurt in the 1st half?
ReplyDeleteYeah I was wondering why Ben Tate continued to get carries instead of Davis or Fannin.
ReplyDelete6-6 is a pipe dream.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to Thorpe? I missed that.
ReplyDeleteSo, who's for ice cream?
ReplyDelete4-6?
ReplyDeleteI think UT Martin are the Silverhawks or Skyhawks or something like that.
ReplyDeleteB, you were probably as busy as I was trying to suck the bottom out of aluminum cans.
ReplyDeleteDenny - Was that at the old Fairfiled stadium?
ReplyDeleteI have supported tubs.
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to the direct snap to Fannin?
ReplyDeleteIrony would be beating UT - The Orange and losing to UT the Martin.
ReplyDeleteDid we just hear the final "War Eagle" of Tommy Tuberville's career?
ReplyDeleteThorpe has too much talent. Why waste it on West Virginia?
ReplyDeleteWe just were mad cause Coach wouldn't let us turn on the heaters
ReplyDeleteit all starts at the top
ReplyDeleteKris..cans? Shoot man, I'm back on the bottle tonight.
ReplyDeleteDirect sanp to Fannin works too well. We are saving it for the next game.
ReplyDeleteIrony is Mario Fannin getting hurt tonight. Oh, nevermind. I forgot, that was part of the script.
ReplyDeleteI really don't feel like chatting much. I have never seen a runningback do that to an Auburn defense. Herschel Walker didn't come close. It was incredible.
ReplyDeleteMark- we will not lose to UT Martin. They wear our same jersey's. They will trick our team into thinking they are going against the scout team.
ReplyDeleteI realize Davis may not be the best back, but it seemed like all WV did was let Noel devine run a sweep and watch him go. Maybe I'm just making it too simple, or else our defense just didn't think that little guy could run that fast. I would have rather seen Brad Lester get more carries too. He seemed to disappear after the first half until near the end of the game.
ReplyDeleteI'm about to go wipe the dust off mine...
ReplyDeleteWhere is the 2 point MSU defense.
ReplyDeletei wish we had a campfire to just drink and look at the fire
ReplyDeletewhere is the 12 point UT defense
ReplyDeleteThe play that sucked the life out of AUBURN and re-energized the WVU crowd ----------- As stooooopid a call as ANYTHING Tony Frankiln did at any point ---------

5. Jim McElwain, Alabama offensive coordinator
6. Jim Grobe, Wake Forest head coach
7. Al Golden, Temple head coach
8. Bill Cowher, CBS studio analyst
They quit two weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteTheAuburner is copying the Geezy campfire.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame them and told you they would. Nobody believed me.
ReplyDeletehahaha we are saying "fear the UT Martin, isn't this similar to a catastrophe like pearl harbor? "
ReplyDeleteSteve,
ReplyDeleteDo you remember Fred Talley?
Mark,
UT sucks on offense, that was more what they weren't doing on offense than what we were doing on D.
wdewg..... those players need someone getting in their face and telling them that they sucked out there... they're grown men and can handle when someone gets all on them. They're not some 9th grade girls volleyball team who starts crying because you don't tell them good job after they win.... I'm sorry but it seemed like the players just said, "Hey whatever.... i just hope we stop at applebees on the way home."
ReplyDeleteok. guys, take a deep breathe I have. All of you guys calling for Tubbs head are idiots, you are talking emotions right now.
ReplyDeleteAnswer me this:
ReplyDeletethe best guy on that list anon is number ten and he aint comming to Auburn.
ReplyDeleteJosh- I'm guessing your Josh Moon. You expect something major to happpen to Tubs this weeek?
ReplyDeleteWe need a campfire bad...
ReplyDeleteSomeone is copying my campfire?
ReplyDeleteHow dare they!
I'll fire one up.
ReplyDeleteLet's watch the language
ReplyDeleteSensi, can you moderate?
ReplyDeleteI'd take Muschamp, Kiffen, Butch Davis, Petrino...hell somebody call CSS and see if he'd leave South Carolina.
ReplyDeletePat ... you are naive my friend. Rationality is not a consideration. Tubs is gone whether it "makes sense" or not.
ReplyDeletehow about this. Let's adopt the spread offense. Some say it will not work in the SEC, but WvU just ran it against a great D and won.
ReplyDeleteWe have never tried it. Let's do it. Who's with me.
When the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor, did we quit.
Who's with me.
The spread is it.
What is that? We tried that and the coaches refused to run it. Said they would quit? We fired the guy?
Oh, okay. Nevermind.
Let's go sit and watch Lebo ball
PDWT,
ReplyDeleteI'd rather rebuild for 5 years than continue the close but no cigar trail we've been on. Tubs may not have missed the field goal and tackles, but who's leading the team? He's gone, there's no way he survives this, period.
Turkey, lots of love bro but a ten year tenured coach with plenty of talent and a favorable home schedule doesn't have a losing season and keep his job, period.
ReplyDeletethe auburner is having one right now im in it ragging on them and im gonna try to get the hammah from them
ReplyDeletePat,
ReplyDeleteMy reaction to CTT is not based on one game.
Someone's gotta moderate...
ReplyDelete5 years? Please explain that one to me PDWT.
ReplyDeleteNah Dawg..... don't know who Josh Moon is.... but he sounds like a fag... I'm just wondering why all these people are screaming TUBS TUBS TUBS!!! When it was clearly an effort problem in the 2nd half
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it was emotions that helped get CTF fired?
ReplyDeleteJay, does Tubs think we lost to an inferior opponent again? One we should have beat? Like he did against Arky and Vandy?
ReplyDeleteWhat a moron!!
I can't moderate because I gotta write ...
ReplyDeleteJames? Sensi?
mr.sensible...
ReplyDeletelanguage, have you watches basic cable, ass is a word in the dictionary, donkey, burro...what were you thinking about?
I can Jay G. Hit me up on the email
ReplyDeletewhat ya need jay?
ReplyDeleteI'll delete the posts if you give me the ability Jay G.
ReplyDeletewe will be on our best behavior JAY G
ReplyDeleteCampfire now live.
ReplyDeleteJames and Sensi are in control
DOUBLE REVERSE cost AU the game and Tubs his job....anyone?
ReplyDeleteCTT needs to step up and resign...he's lost his team. We need some new life..
ReplyDeletescranton..
ReplyDeleteok, well u fire tubbs, u lose half the recruits right off the bat, any jrs that might have stayed go pro, we bring in new coach, if..if...we even get a good one, which we wont, we will have millions of dollars wrapped up in coaches that arent working, no coach will come here with out history of micro managing(lowder), plus the new coach has to hire people, bring in his system, that will take time.
ReplyDeleteI mean, don't you think Tate is a good tailback?
Tubs is done, folks.
Phred, you're hired.
PDWT,
ReplyDeleteExplain how this situation is that much different that what happened at Bama. It took Saban one year to turn the mess that Shula left into a NC contender.
We have plenty of talent. They aren't getting any coaching.
This will be the 3rd time in the last six years that we were picked to win the West and didn't.
We don't have playmakers on offense.
ReplyDeleteI've heard the Tristan and Fannin thing for so long, but I haven't seen them do anything.
Have they been given the chance? Probably not, but if they are the players a lot of people on the net seem to think they are, then someone has to ask the coaches why they aren't getting the touches.
Yes, Tristan is fast, but are there reasons that he isn't out there that we don't know about?
As far as Tate goes, between the tackles he's a really good RB... in this offense we are trying to run, he's not a good fit at all.
ReplyDeleteHe would have been a good RB in our offense in the past.
what a campfire. I am all warm and toasty. Wow. Just wow.
ReplyDeleteFire Tubby. NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have good athletes, we don't coach or use them.
ReplyDeleteI'm drunk, life is tough right now, I'm backed in a corner. I just turned my focus to Neil fortners womens team. Who's with me?
Boom.
at least my fantasy team is still competitive.
ReplyDeletedid the campfire end?
ReplyDeleteanybody want my uga tickets? free? im serious> lower level? underneath the older scord board in the endzone...
ReplyDeleteSuck on this Paul and your no tackling, linebacker in coverage sucking, goatee wearing, bicycle riding, no tacklin in open spacin, Yankee talkin fool.
ReplyDeleteWhere were you tonight? We could have used you.
Never had a feeling where I couldn't hang my hat on d, well yes I have, that was in the 1995 outback bowl. Eerily familiar.
