- AUBURN 20, UTM 13: Cade Thompson hits mike Hicks for a 7-yard touchdown pass. The PAT kick missed. Auburn conceded 70+ yards on that drive.
- AUBURN 20, UT-MARTIN 7: Brad Lester scores on a 1-yard run. That was a long, methodical drive: 85 yards in 16 plays. Auburn converted three third-down plays. No penalties. Unusual.
Let's go O...
ReplyDeletelol Cory you like being first poster don'tcha
ReplyDeleteAuburn is going reallllly basic on offense. I think I've seen maybe five different plays.
ReplyDeleteAU needs to pass the ball on 1st down..
ReplyDeleteI do Mon...it's a problem that I'm working on..
ReplyDelete36 1st quarter yards for Auburn
ReplyDeleteDon't Cory...I admire it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with whoever said the only thing worse than watching these games is listening to them.
TOTAL OFFENSE in 1st:
ReplyDeleteAU -- 17 plays, 70 yards
UTM -- 18 plays, 75 yards
Jay/gang ... your thoughts
ReplyDeleteHow does being super vanilla help?
yahoo's stats lied to me then.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Monica
ReplyDeleteI'm typing off the official stats ...
ReplyDeleteMon:
ReplyDeleteWhy did you change picture?
that sounds better for us on offense than what I was getting from yahoo
ReplyDeleteNot great, but better.
3rd and 20 ,,, Massaquoi gets first down, and FUMBLES AGAIN
ReplyDeleteVanilla = "College Football for Dummies"
ReplyDeleteNot, calling our players dummies. Just illustrating a point.
Kris - I have a girl crush on Coach Tim Brewster. I really dig his coaching philosophy so I sorta adopted him.
That pass to Hawthorne should have been a big gain; Burns threw the ball high.
ReplyDeleteMon, I would sympathize with you if I knew who the hell he was.
ReplyDeleteMon, so you're saying it's just a little crush?
ReplyDeleteKentucky's No. 18 can make plays ... hmmm
ReplyDeleteTommy Trott!!! That is what we need.
ReplyDeleteKentucky recruits so well ...
ReplyDeleteCoach Tim Brewster
ReplyDeleteUh oh...1st and goal...could this be a touchdown?
ReplyDeleteGeorgia=Auburn.
ReplyDeleteEvery time they are supposed to have a good year they shoot themselves in the foot.
Ever get the feeling that if Rod was looking over the railing on the ramp, Stan might push him off so he could do ALL the talking?
ReplyDeleteJust wonderin'
Barkley ... where in the hell have you been?
ReplyDeleteCory - it's just football crush, not a lovey dovey crush. :-)
ReplyDeleteHow in the world does UK have more playmakers than we do?
ReplyDeleteBrad Lester in ... 1-yard run.
ReplyDeleteThis must have been what it was like for my Grandad "watching" Auburn Football. Other than the whole computer thing.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Auburn!!! Wow!!! We scored an offensive touchdown against UT-Martin!!!
ReplyDeleteTouchdown!!!
ReplyDeleteLSU fans just booed Nick Saban for about 3-4 minutes when Ala came on the field. yikes.
ReplyDeleteSo Jay are you saying we have scaled the playbook down again? I mean by now it can only be a piece of notebook paper.
ReplyDeleteLSU fans need to GTHO it.
ReplyDeleteI don't think they've scaled back on the number of available plays ... they're just running fewer than usual today.
ReplyDeleteThis is like my childhood all over again ... I wonder if I'll get asked to the Sadie Hawkins Dance
ReplyDeleteLet's go Bayou Bengals!!
ReplyDeleteAuburn up to 152 yards.
ReplyDeleteUTM: 75.
Our offense is down to a sticky note
ReplyDeleteI've been busy working and class, but I'm back now.
ReplyDeletejet g. ate.....What a name
i hadn't been watching the play by play, i was out. but on espn i say 7-10 and freaked out. It's nice to see that the TD was a slight fluke.
ReplyDelete20-7 is MUCH better
We'll camp it at halftime.
ReplyDeleteI've been lurking for months, seeking an identity.
ReplyDeleteConsidering the King of HABOTN and where we are these days, it just seemed kinda natural
We're discussing the Auburn game? It's a game alright. A game of just how bad can this team get?
ReplyDeleteIt's time to lay the facts out there. Auburn's OL is horrible. The reasoning as to why they're that bad is irrelevant. They're just awful. Nothing else needs to be said.
Kodi Burns didn't learn anything from his previous two "first starts". Of course that statement borrows logic from Tuberville's ever changing philosophies on out of conference games being "pre-season" and tying for the SEC West means something when you don't earn the trip to Atlanta.
Special teams is nothing without Tristan Davis. He has a career as a return man waiting for him based on pure talent on his part. Beyond Tristan AU special teams creates problems, not field position.
There's a myth out there that Trey Blackmon isn't a big time football product. Hilarious. This defense is average without him. There are too many players out of position on any given play. Blackmon could shore a lot that up by sticking a play before it happens.
I'm fine with AU WRs and tailbacks. They would play at a lot of places. Especially Terrell Zachary, who rides the pine.
I'm fine with AU DBs. Powers is top notch. Thorpe looks to have a bright future and Hood may be better than him in technique and instinct.
AU's D line is top notch as a unit when healthy. When were they last together though for all they're worth? It's been since the UT game?
Auburn's coaches? I'm not ok with Nall, Knox, and I'm not enamored by Gran. Who is and why?
Tubs? Undecided. Although I'm almost positive he's stepping down, if he doesn't my opinion on his rests on his firings and hiring at key offensive positions
The End
If Alabama beats LSU I'm moving to England.
ReplyDeletecotton, the UT-Martin touchdown was definitely us committing stupicide.
ReplyDeletedid you see that touchback?
ReplyDeleteTD or fumble .. review for sure in Baton Rouge
ReplyDeletefumble, I think
ReplyDeleteWow, georgia.
ReplyDeletejet g. ate,
ReplyDeleteHush
Damn, what a throw by Stafford. TD Dawgs. 42-38
ReplyDeleteFumble
ReplyDeletei dunno mon, hey may have gotten it over, but JPW has some nice escapibility (sp?)
ReplyDeleteThat was a touchback..
ReplyDeletenope, touchback, mon was right, as per usual :)
ReplyDeletedon't be talkin that lsu/bama jibber jabber, gotta start it after the jawja game.Love my tivo
ReplyDeleteChuckster, you can't be governor, if you're hanging out with the the guv-nahs!
ReplyDeleteGA-42 KY- 38 1:54 left in 4th
ReplyDeleteI'd prefer you not update me on Georgia and UK ... unless it's UK doing something positive.
ReplyDeleteMatthew Stafford may have 600 yards passing against us.
ReplyDeletei hope bama wins. I'd rather play them undefeated.
ReplyDeleteWent to the qb draw well one time too many.
ReplyDeleteNo more discussion about Les the Hat's quadruple reverse for a quick kick on first down.
ReplyDeleteI promise
sorry Jay. didn't know. so, rod smith's hip not as bad as we thought/were told?
ReplyDeleteWyoming beats Tennessee 13-7. Looks like our domination of Tenessee wasn't so impressive.
ReplyDeleteKnew it was too good to be true.
ReplyDeleteRod Smith appears fine.
ReplyDeleteThe big loss ... it was a designed qb draw. Burns kept scrambling backward.
Byrum missed that FG attempt. Plenty of leg, missed it right. It was 45 yards or so.
Kentucky just caught a huge break to stay in the game.
ReplyDeletejawja facemask,lol
ReplyDeleteWow, UGA forced incompletion on 4th down and then grabbed facemask. 1st dwn UK.
ReplyDeletewow
ReplyDeleteKentucky in the redzone and throws a pick. Georgia wins.
ReplyDeleteUAT's just running all over LSU...
ReplyDeletelol at uky
ReplyDeleteIt's only Kentucky.
ReplyDeleteJeez.
No talking about the Pumpkin losing to Wyoming? Come on.
Why did that ref push Sarah JEssica parker?
ReplyDeleteTD, Great Satan
ReplyDeleteJay, did the defense go into the locker room early and leave the offense out there? Are we in the Tubs prevent?
ReplyDeleteJay ...
ReplyDeleteHalloween's over.
Nobody cares about the Pumpkin
oh my gosh John Parker got an unsportsmanlike and he deserved it
ReplyDeleteJay, Fulmer is so fired it isn't even funny. You can't get more fired than Phillip Fulmer is right now.
ReplyDeleteTenn losing to Wyoming; is it really a shock? the way some SEC teams are playing this year, are we really surprised anymore? About anything?
ReplyDeletetn martin gonna make it close at halftime, damn!
ReplyDeleteDear God in heaven this is horrible.
ReplyDeleteHow many folks are their Gilligan?
We need a pick 6 right here.
ReplyDeletethere
ReplyDeleteI was watching the UK-UGA game ...
ReplyDeleteAuburn has been pretty lax with its pass coverage on this drive. Yes. The UTM quarterback is making some really nice throws, too.
Danielson all over LSU for that play call.
ReplyDeleteBETER GET A PICK 6
ReplyDeleteoh my! the Vols did LOSE! absolute meltdown this week....if there's anything left.
ReplyDeletecan't believe it.
GTFO!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteUT-Poindexter is making a game of it
ReplyDeleteWell, our offense hasn't looked great, but at least our defense is playing bad.
ReplyDeleteJay, does Powers look OK or do you see a limp at all?
ReplyDeleteSo...Is Auburn's basketball team supposed to be any good this year?
ReplyDeleteG - I think it was the PREZ who said he was going to see how the player responded in these last few games - and I took it to mean if they'd given up --
ReplyDeletewhat's the players enthusiasm?
Nice defense, off a damn missed fg, i'd feel like i could win it if i was utm, looks like their kicker was watchin our kicker for some inspiration.
ReplyDeleteTennn did lose?
ReplyDeleteYes, Tennessee lost. Wyoming 13, Tennessee 7, Fulmer gone.
ReplyDeletePowers looks fine to me.
ReplyDeletePlayers' attitude ... seems fine. I'll make a more definitive judgment afterward.
how bout the coonass intro to the bama lsu game? Car-azy.
ReplyDeleteLSU has a great plan to deal with Cody ... hold and tackle him
ReplyDeleteJarrett Lee is absolutely turrible!
ReplyDeleteSorry but LSU's LG is bigger than Cody so I'm not so sure everyone's enamered with Teets Cody.
ReplyDeleteAs I type that he throws the TD...
ReplyDeleteTD Lsu, pass to #2 Byrd. hmmm, we've seen that before
ReplyDeleteTD ... Les Miles!!!
ReplyDeleteJarrett Lee actually throws a nice pass
Auburn is more than likely being outschemed, aka outcoached on a strategical level
ReplyDeleteCampfire locked and loaded.
ReplyDeleteMore turrible....
ReplyDeleteJ. Lee or Auburn football?
I like Jeffrey Lee.
ReplyDelete(Just teasin.)
If AU wins by 7 or less will our attitude about where the program is headed change?
ReplyDelete
