Todd? Never was an SEC QB, never will be. I think any football fan that has a pulse could see that. Don't know why Franklin was so convinced he was the guy. Damaged goods.
Michael. If Au scores 21, then they have to get a special teams TD on a punt return or kickoff return. That's possible. I'm just afraid we won't get bama off the field. we really haven't stopped a good running team all year.
Hmmm, I am not sure why all the Todd bashing. He played very well early in the season. Hopefully he will heal up. He nearly beat out Harrell at Texas Tech, so he should be able to compete here when healthy.
as far as Todd goes like I have said I think Kodi is the future. I'll say this though.. I appreciate what Chris did for AU. The coaches made the call he just went out and gave it his best shot..I hope all the best for the guy.
Monica - I got kicked in the head by an uncle when I was younger, I think, and that might be where I got my funny.
And earlier, I was making jokes at Chris Todd's expense, but I think he did a decent job for us, and there was a time when I was more in Todd's corner than Kodi's. I thought Kodi should be starting the season against the pansies, but once we gave Todd all the good experience, I thought it was a mistake bringing Kodi in so late in the season. Once the season was clearly in the crapper, it made sense to play Kodi exclusively.
Anyway, I like Todd, he did a good job for us, with a strong arm he could have been really good, and he didn't suck. That's it.
Kodi, Kodi, Kodi!
ReplyDeleteTip of the sword, Kodi!
ReplyDeleteI just saw Chris Todd. He's still here, by the way.
ReplyDeleteChris who?
ReplyDeleteI am sure glad to hear that. What is the plan to help his shoulder?
ReplyDeleteThis guy named Tony Franklin from Troy really liked him ...
ReplyDeleteI heard that he was going to dtart at Texas Tech. You know they don't recruit bad QB's.
ReplyDeletesorry. "start"
ReplyDeleteOnce he gets a chance, he will no doubt make up for his injured shoulder with his astute decision making.
ReplyDeleteoh, be nice. the kid (todd) was never put in a good position with his bum shoulder.
ReplyDeleteit's basketball time on the plains tonite! yahoo!
Tony Franklin? Doesn't he work at Needles and Pines at Vaughn Road and the Bypass?
ReplyDeleteDon't leave out Todd's quick agility and speed to get out of the pocket.....

ReplyDeleteI know we are all homers but...any predictions on the score Sat.
ReplyDeleteKodi! Kodi! Kodi!
ReplyDeleteLet's move on.
Hate Bama.
Be thankful.
You know, the good stuff.
BlogTom..do you want a realist prediction or a homer prediction?
ReplyDeleteWell, we could become big Basketball fans. We seem to do well on the hardwood when our football team tanks it.
ReplyDeleteHow about a realist prediction. I'm going w/ 28-13 bama. Since 13 seems to be our lucky number when the defense doesn't get a score.
ReplyDeleteCool BlogTom..I was thinking 31-14 bama...realistic....homer says I'll take anything that puts a "W" in AU's win column..:)
ReplyDelete21-17 Auburn. I mean, Alabama may win, but it would be surprising. This is my honest prediction.
ReplyDeleteI did a homer prediction in a previous thread and I think it was 28-7 Auburn. But 21-17 is more likely.

ReplyDeleteLove the harmonica.
ReplyDeleteKodi is cute.
Tubs looks good - best I've seen him look all season. Looks relaxed and for some reason he looks more tanned.
What's the opposite of a homer?
A bunt?
ReplyDeleteopposite of a homer. not sure. Maybe just a person you can't trust. Really, who can spend so much time at a school and not become a homer...
ReplyDeleteWar eagle all. May the power of the force be with us. I'm out.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I am not sure why all the Todd bashing. He played very well early in the season. Hopefully he will heal up. He nearly beat out Harrell at Texas Tech, so he should be able to compete here when healthy.
ReplyDeleteBlogTom, Georgia was a good running team and we held up fairly well. We seem to have had more trouble with the small quick backs.
ReplyDeletehopefully kodi is gonna be fun to watch for the next coupla years..I really think the kid is gonna grow into something special...
ReplyDeleteJay: you have had some serious doubts about Kodi in the past. Have your feelings changed any? Great video too man. Kodi was the highlight for sure

ReplyDeleteMichael - How did you get so funny?
ReplyDeleteI have not been able to think of a single thing to say for the last three days. I'm trying to figure that out.
