  5. sorry i've been out of the loop past couple days. 2 days w/o the HABOTN is a really, really odd feeling. i'll do my best not to let it happen again. :)

  9. Hate I missed yesterdays campfire, though im sure hotties did not miss my insistant staff questions and rumors. Since I didnt get a chance to ask yesterday..Widespread rumor is Malzahn for OC..Joe Whitt Jr. for DB coach..Carl Franks for RB coach...heard anything?

  10. I would imagine one of the criteria for OC/DC is that they not be represented by Sexton. That would probably narrow the list somewhat.

  11. Gus Malzahn has agreed to be OC!

  12. I just read the same thing....Very nice pick up...Gus has proven that he can move the ball...Nice work CC

  13. Just saw that per Phillip Marshall.

  14. Working on some official confirmation on Malzahn.

... and "runinred" said Auburn wouldn't run the spread. Betting you would have been unethical.

Also, big up to "speedy" for getting this right.

  15. Doesn't Tulsa throw it like 90 times a game?

How will this jibe with Chizik's "we're gonna run the football and be physical" philosophy?

  16. it makes no sense to walk completely away from the spread ... that's what we've recruited to ... that's what the HS teams are running ... the two things we need most are innovation and a staff pulling in the same direction.

Gus gives a shot at the first and the new regime gives us the other.

we'll do some smash mouth, too, but to think we're going to line up in the 'I' every play is a tad Neanderthal.

  17. Gus ran about 2:1 run:pass this year according to Marshall.
