Can't believe it's the end of the season.
ReplyDeleteGo Gators!!!
ReplyDeleteme first? really?
ReplyDeletedang it
ReplyDeleteHas it been mentioned that Blackmon and Slaughter not coming back next year.
ReplyDeletekathy, i concur. even though our season should have seemed like it was very slow, this whole college season flew by for me
ReplyDeleteFlorida moving slowly.
ReplyDeleteOklahoma not fazed by that little inside keeper they developed for Tebow.
Shouldn't we save that first spot for DL?
ReplyDeleteHe seems to dwell on that....
Hoop...10 TD's you sure about the over?
Yea, tiger, it has been mentioned. I really hate it, but we move on. I think Slaughter will be missed the most.
ReplyDeleteWord is that Blackmon and Slaughter are not coming back.
ReplyDeleteI am surprised by Slaughter. I am not surprised by Blackmon, though Sen'Derrick kept telling me Tray was planning to return.
Of course, this was in November.
Slaughter I agree is the bigger loss. But, now you can pull the....you could have the chance to play immediately as a WR.
ReplyDeleteDang it, Come on Tebow!!! Circomsize them!!!
ReplyDelete...and that is why he won't be playing [QB] on Sundays. Eyes sold him out. Take that, Tebow gushing announcers.
ReplyDeleteSome of you are rooting for OU??? It should be a sin to root for a Big 12 team unless you have money on them or they are playing bama.
ReplyDeleteHappens ever year to every school. (Attrition)
ReplyDeleteruh roh raggy.... The Great Tebow just screwed up...
ReplyDeleteTebow intercepted?
ReplyDeleteI thought there was a law against that.
Just on a side note....I am a bit devastated that Smoltz is no longer a Brave....I just needed the moment to vent...sigh..
ReplyDeleteSgt.Slaughter is leaving?...not cool.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone else think the Ladders needs a new Ad company?
ReplyDeleteOkrahoma is evil. They are guilty of not being in the SEC. They are also guilty of being a member of the Big 12. They must be punished.
ReplyDeleteI suppose it depends if the defenses get tired and the second half scoring ratchetts up. There will need to be a lot of quick possessions. I may have over reached there.
ReplyDeleteSmoltzie going to look funny in a Red Sox uni.
ReplyDeleteSmoltz was almost the last of the team I knew. Please tell me Chipper is still there.
ReplyDeleteGive him the bidness Ron!
ReplyDeleteI have three friends who have been with me since we were lads.
ReplyDeleteTwo are OU grads. One is a TCU grad, but he loves him some Oklahoma Sooners football.
I'm tainted and swayed by their fandom.
BFG, move to Florida for a week. You will quickly realize that the Gator Nation is as evil as the Bamzo Nation.
ReplyDeleteAnd Okrahoma has committed to ultimate sin by having ugly team colors. Florida's color are closer to perfect.
ReplyDeleteSomeone needs to lay some hands on Jay and heal him of his Okrahoma fetish.
ReplyDeleteI love Smoltz, but will boo him if I ever have to be on hand to see him play in a Sox uni.
ReplyDeleteAU1, Chipper is also very unhappy about Smoltz. Did you see his comments in the AJC?
ReplyDeleteNoVa - Chipper is still there....but very frustrated and angry.
ReplyDeleteSlaughter came in with huge credentials and never seemed to commit. Kinda like the character in Jerry Mcquire.
ReplyDeleteYeah, but their version of blue leaves me flat.
ReplyDeleteI hate UF but maintaining the supremacy of the SEC is important.
Maybe so Peter, but Tim Tebow's never beaten Auburn, I have nothing against him.
ReplyDeleteOklahoma is moving the ball well.
Kathy - I did. This could be a problem soon, they have not been able to make any good moves and that's a problem...ok enough of that.
ReplyDeleteholding...comin back big fella
ReplyDeleteDoes CFL have any rules on who they can sign. Do they draft or what?
ReplyDeleteI think Tray may end up in CFL.
NoVa are you in Northen Virginia?
ReplyDeleteAnd I simply hate that tune the Okrahoma band keeps playing. It makes me want to commit mass murder with a dull fork.
ReplyDeleteBradford can thread a needle. wow what a pass.
ReplyDeleteThey could have called "facemask" on that holding penalty also
ReplyDeleteYes AU.
ReplyDeleteThey keep shooting themselves in the foot. Tony Franklin must be in Miami.
ReplyDeleteI was in Alexandria for a few years.
ReplyDeleteSEC Defense is pretty good against Big 12 Fast Break Offense
ReplyDeleteTray can join Tre.
ReplyDeleteI love the pre-game interviews with the coaches. They never say that they think they are in for a butt whoopin. That is why Tony Franklin would be a great head coach. I can see him now.
ReplyDelete"We will likely get our butts handed to us because I am an idiot".
Thanks coach, back to you Jim.
Yuengling anyone?
ReplyDeleteThe Okla style of offense will wear down the UF defense. UF will need to score and build up a lead.
ReplyDeletei'll take one atl
ReplyDeleteAnd Jay, you had to have been pulling for Franklin to hang around. Reporters should have been picketing to keep Franklin. He was very quotable.
ReplyDeleteatlantatiger: Yes. I'll have one.
ReplyDeleteI think Coach Chiz had some talks with some playaz and told them they had two choices and #3 was they would not be at Auburn next year
ReplyDeleteI liked Franklin a lot personally, yes.
ReplyDeleteAs a part of our campaign to drive Mike Gundy and Okie State fans even crazier, I think Auburn fans should pull for Oklahoma.
ReplyDeleteCrown n Coke with a twist of lime for me, please.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say I was proud of Ryan Williams. Most kids just quit, heading to JUCO means maybe he will still get an education.
ReplyDeleteComin right up..Harvin looks D@^n good.
ReplyDeletethat play looked ugly from the get go
ReplyDeletetwist of lime? fru-fru?
ReplyDeleteBeat Choklahoma
ReplyDeleteAUnMobilz, I hope that you are right about that. Great coaches lay down the law to players early. Anyone that isn't with the plan is sent on his way.
ReplyDeleteThis Gushing over Tebow has to stop.
ReplyDeletewith a pinky up!
ReplyDelete"The unquestioned greatest leader in college football," the announcer says.
ReplyDeleteGive me a break!
want a little umbrella too?
ReplyDeleteI keed, I keed!
Unquestionably the greatest leader in college football today? Your life will be better for being around Tebow? Will this announcer please take the opportunity to shut up.
ReplyDeleteQuick..put on the raincoats..another announcer gushing Tebow
ReplyDeleteD. Miller,
ReplyDeleteYou must be under 40 years of age, othherwise you would know you only drink crown two ways....
with coke and lime twist
of neat!
If you get to spend 10 or 15 minutes with Tim Tebow, your life is better for it. haha
ReplyDeleteThis announcer has his head so far up Tebow's butt that it is a wonder his name isn't enema.
ReplyDeletedrink crown on the rocks or with coke... no lime...
ReplyDeleteZteve..If there was a little "house cleaning", that is good to establish creds.
ReplyDeletemethodical drive by UF... eating some clock
ReplyDeleteThen you must be under 40!
ReplyDeleteits ok i sometimes drink it on the rocks also.... lime gives it a twang
I am loving this game by the way. These two offenses are really slugging it out.
ReplyDeleteWe're watching the BCS Championship Game, and the Auburn-Mississippi State game broke out.
ReplyDeleteOU DT looked like he was lined up in middle of the UF o-line just then...
ReplyDeleteBelicek looked drunk.
ReplyDeleteAU1N, I'm further out than that. You couldn't pay me to be inside the beltway next weekend.
ReplyDeleteatl,
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing...
he was probably saying "Damn its good to be outta that cold in N.E."
Refs are terrible. How do you put these idiots on this national televised event. Happy there not making the SEC look bad.
ReplyDeleteIf you spend 10 or 15 minutes with Tebow, it's no (fore) skin off my nose.
ReplyDeleteAtl,
ReplyDeleteACC Refs.... enuff said!!!!!
Payback i guess for punking their conference!
Croke with lime here...
ReplyDeleteI am a man...over 40....bring it!
in other news...Smoltz out of atlanta on his way to Boston. Damn
ReplyDeleteShouldn't it be like 21-17 by now?
ReplyDeleteNoVa - I live in Baltimore now. They are renting houses here for next weekend for thousands.
ReplyDeleteUF needs to do better than 17 yds rushing.
ReplyDeleteatlanta - you have to scroll up...I mentioned that...Chipper not happy.
ReplyDeleteFear the Tebow!!!
ReplyDeleteTD... nice stretch by Loo-Murph
ReplyDeleteYea its pretty bad when Vandy beats the Division winner from the ACC. This is the only way that the ACC will ever get in the National Championship.
ReplyDeleteThe announcers are a little over the top with the Teblow love.
ReplyDeleteAs much as some of you seem to dislike Tebow, any guy that turns down Bama can't be all bad.
ReplyDeleteI'm heading for Alabama next weekend. It's going to be a zoo!
ReplyDeleteif OU doesn't answer with a score the onslaught will start!!!
ReplyDeleteOU will begin to press!!!!
That sucks about smoltz. going to miss him mucho this summer.
ReplyDeleteZteve...I think Tebow is great. I think Tebow worship by announcers is rediculous.
ReplyDeleteAU Women are 16-0???
ReplyDeleteNova - why headed to bama?
I'm just giving you a hard time AUnMoblz...
ReplyDeleteYea, I'm under 40... heck, under 30 (pushing it though), but my heavy crown days are long behind me...
You know, when you drink too much of it in college, it's difficult to drink when you get older... same for Goldschlager! Man those were the days! (I think...can't really remember)
To visit my mother and escape the 3 million people heading this way.
ReplyDeleteWhy are they replaying the touchdown. It was clear that the ground caused the fumble anyways.
ReplyDeleteAU women are HOT even on the Bball court.
ReplyDeletewow....umm...Florida, you forget how to tackle at the LOS?
ReplyDeleteDrinking is why I don't remember a single Saturday from 1992 to 1995. What a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteJust like that. Florida better man up.
ReplyDeleteI'm seeing uncalled Okla holding on most every play. This game is too fast for the ACC refs.
ReplyDeleteMon - People are renting houses in Baltimore for the Inauguration. It is going to be bedlem.
ReplyDeleteThat Florida defense just got blowed up.
ReplyDeleteHoop - I think it just turned up a notch on the pts.
ReplyDeleteThe Fox Sports Oklahoma Play Clock is underwhelming me with its suckitude
ReplyDeleteWill someone make that crappy band stop playing that crappy song.
ReplyDeleteI have not seen a team that can cover #18 for Oklahoma.
ReplyDeleteSTEAM ROLLED!!!!
ReplyDeleteI still say Utah is the national champs. Love those mormons.
ReplyDeletewhy is this game not in HD? or is it just knology here in the gump?
ReplyDeleteSteve - you're freakin me out with all this negative nellie language.
ReplyDeleteWho me? I am all for them Gators!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm 53....It was a couple of mellow merlot glasse with dinner and water thereafter. Got too much to do tommorrow.
ReplyDeleteJames...run this way ----> not backwards!
ReplyDeleteWow, Florida just pulled a Franklin.
ReplyDeleteneedle threaded...
ReplyDeleteD - Gump
ReplyDeleteDang celebration penalties!!!
ReplyDeletenow the announcer is drunk
ReplyDeleteministererererstir
this will be a tight game
ReplyDeleteUF hasn't punted yet...with numerous 3rd down conversions already.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't Florida find something better to put on their cheerleader's chests? Somehow a big orange F just doesn't seem appropriate.
ReplyDeleteHARD TIMES.
ReplyDeleteTwo picks?!?!?
wtf is wrong with Tebow?
ReplyDeleteYou noticed the F?
ReplyDeleteIntercepted. Shazbot.
ReplyDeleteCommon Tebow, don't Franklin it up.
ReplyDeleteOoops!
ReplyDeleteTeabow will make a good TE.
ReplyDeleteChris Brown is werkin' these fools.
ReplyDeletedid he just say tim tebow didn't read it correctly??????
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess the F on the cheerleaders chest makes better since than an FU I suppose.
ReplyDelete73 yards already.
ReplyDeleteHave I said that I hate Oklahoma and Bob Stoops yet?
ReplyDeleteTebow trying to give the game to OU?
ReplyDeleteNo way Florida has a shot if they can't stop the run. Tebow watched John Parker too much in the SEC championship.
ReplyDeleteOK is turning Florida's corner like a freeway.
ReplyDeleteSomething I didn't consider when I predicted the over/under was that UF would try to run the clock.
ReplyDeleteFlorida is gona get beat.
ReplyDeleteGo Go Go? Going Going Gone!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was big.
ReplyDeleteThese announcers are realllly bad.
ReplyDeletehow bad are your announcers when they don't even know what frickin down it is?!?!!!
ReplyDeleteidiots
Should have kicked the FG.
ReplyDeleteSEC--defense
ReplyDeleteFlorida's linebackers are playing back. They are going to have to adjust.
ReplyDeleteFlorida is going to have to establish the run f they're going to win.
ReplyDeleteFox announcers are really horrendous.
ReplyDeleteTaken looks to have potential...
ReplyDeletePersonally, I don't blame OK for going for it either. I don't like field goals when you are inside the 2 yardline.
ReplyDeleteYeah....Fox only does NFL all year and then "buys" 3-4 top Bowl games and the MNC.
ReplyDeleteI am not crazy about the announcers either. But I am more interested in watching rather than listening anyways.
ReplyDeleteHarvin at 100% wouldn't have been caught...
ReplyDeleteLovin me some meerkating.
ReplyDeleteRainey just blew out his knee...
ReplyDeleteThe Okla tackler leg-whipped him.
ReplyDeleteOuch......
ReplyDeletethat's why horse-collar tackles aren't legal
ReplyDeleteRight knee buckled. The fox announcers are sorta typical for bowl games anyway. You go all season with something familiar and then you go to a bowl and it is kind of a let down.
ReplyDeleteHorrible punt. Now dem gators have got to stop the run.
ReplyDeleteHorse collar + leg whip = injury.
ReplyDeleteMore of OK turning the corner on FL.
ReplyDeleteI thought the Gators would have stopped the run a bit better than they are doing.
ReplyDeleteOU line blatantly holding on every play...
ReplyDeleteD.Miller I thought I was watching bama for a minute.
ReplyDeleteExcuse me, why is there a clock for when OU snaps the ball? Do we really care about that? Just askin'
ReplyDeletenot much difference...
ReplyDeleteI don't care.
ReplyDeleteI don't like their colors. I don't like their coach. I don't like their dirty playing.
I don't like them, Sam I am.
ankle? on the sidelines they were performing a knee check on him...
ReplyDeleteTime Out OU since they didn't tell us.
ReplyDeletelol @ "sam i am"
ReplyDeleteHeupal is fat now.
ReplyDeleteFlorida's ball.
ReplyDeletehot potato
ReplyDeleteWhat a damn play.
ReplyDeleteOh wow!!! Okrahoma commits stupicide.
ReplyDeleteOoops.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of the game. I'm out. I'll have to find out the score in the morning.
ReplyDeletehalftime memo to Urban:
ReplyDeleteLet Tebow be Tebow.
When my children were small, we taught them football rules at the supper table.
ReplyDeleteAuburn is the best team ever.
Never root against the conference.
The Bama exception reads, "Never root for Alabama. I hate Bama.
You don't pull for California teams.
Oklahoma is for whiners.
Miami plays thugs.
Nebraska, nah, you just can't pull for them either.
We had a problem with Notre Dame. I don't like them. My husband loves them so we let the kids choose.
Failing to get anything on 2 trips inside the 5 will probably cost OK the game. But I'm having a real hard time rooting very hard for either of these teams.
ReplyDeleteGoodnight Nova
ReplyDeleteNight, NoVa.
ReplyDeleteIt's tough on Eastern time for night games.
real hard + very hard in the same sentence = redundant. Think I will go away for the night.
ReplyDelete"I can't wait to get a chance to pass against one of those Big 12 defenses."
ReplyDeleteI got the best of both worlds. I live on the east coast, but work west coast hours.
ReplyDeleteJimmy Johnson is wrong. Short time to prepare benefits the defense. A long time to prepare benefits the offense.
ReplyDeleteZteve, how did you manage that?
ReplyDeleteThought i'd come in and check some notes, and leave 2¢. These guys doing the broadcast tonight? Yeah they're horrible. Did FOX not understand this is a the Bowl Championship?!? Maybe they could get some people that know what down it is? Just sayin'.. Okay continue party
ReplyDeleteZteve...do you consult for west coast clients?
ReplyDeleteAUMom- I admire those rules.
ReplyDeleteYou're a hoot.
Goodnight Nova. :-)
ReplyDelete
