Tuberville speaks, 1/28

WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Post No. 1,011

Hey everyone. I talked with Tommy Tuberville earlier about his upcoming gig as an ESPN analyst for Signing Day coverage. Ought to be a hoot.

Here's what he told me on the record.

On what he'll be doing with ESPN: ``I'll just be talking about how recruiting and Signing Day work from a coach's perspective," Tuberville said. ``I won't be talking about Auburn. I won't be talking about any schools."

On what he'll be doing with his life: ``I'm too young to retire," Tuberville said. ``I can't play golf for the rest of my life. I've got to do something and earn a living. Coaching is what I know."

  2. How was the conversation off the record, I bet that was good stuff.

  3. i thnik ctt would be a good fit at texas a & m, if that post ever opens up.

I thought he was staying with Auburn as an advisor. Did this change?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Anonymous5:49 PM

He keeps on saying that he wants to coach again, but I really see him doing the ESPN thing. CTT would be so much better than Lou Holtz.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I expect to see Tuberville show up as the head coach at a big name school within the next couple of years. Good luck to him. He is a good Auburn man.

    ReplyDelete
  7. He's not contractually obligated to Auburn as I understand it.

    ReplyDelete
  8. holtz's voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Anonymous5:53 PM

Wouldn't that be fun watching him coach against Will Muschamp at Texas.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Anonymous5:54 PM

I know that CTT and family love it here in Auburn...would it be out of the question for him to stay in Auburn and coach LSA, Auburn, or Opelika? Never mind...I just want to keep him in Auburn

  11. hello hotties, sorry i missed the campfire. i see jgt mentioned bill clark was a topic of discussion. i've said before i'd like to see that happen but i'm not sure how realistic it is. are there any details or developments i need to be caught up on?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Anonymous5:55 PM

I used to like watching that show but he sounds like he is losing his teeth every time he speaks.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hrm..... so what all did he say off the record??

    ReplyDelete
  14. ummm it's OFF THE RECORD

    ReplyDelete
  15. gatiger, if I remember correctly Jay just stated that Clark was someone he was watching in the remaining assistant coach hunt. Obviously he has heard some talk of him.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Anonymous6:00 PM

Jay G., since he is gone from AU now . . .have you ever seen ANY evidence that CTT ever actually PLAYED football? I have never seen a photo of him in a football uniform. Ever. Do you think there is any possibility he is a George O'Leary type? Has anyone looked into his past at Southern Arkansas?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Need to make a living...whhhhhhhaaat. You put 5 mill in the bank dude

    ReplyDelete
  18. I know... but, jay can tell us... it'd just stay between our little group here...

    ReplyDelete
  19. I guess I'm behind the eight ball but I just saw that Travante Stallworth is no longer a soft verbal, he is a full on verbal now, whatever that means.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Rome, I'm with you. If AU didn't set him up financially for life that is one hell of a lifestyle.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Doesn't matter how much you have in the bank. A person needs to feel like they are producing, contributing, etc. Well, most people...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Bryce Brown is proving that stupid fans should not try to recruit via Facebook.

    ReplyDelete
  23. i'd be content making loud beer belches, overlooking a lake, with someone else minding the bbq. but that's just me.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Mon - I guess I do get ya there. I have TONS in the bank and yet each day I feel the need to drag myself out of the cave and play a round of golf, eat sushi, chill at the club then surf HABOTN. Good call :)

    ReplyDelete
  25. No argument on that Monica. He just said he had to make a living and for most people that means having to work to pay bills. I don't think he has to worry about that, unlike a lot of people these days.

    ReplyDelete
  26. That's why I'm here, Mr. Rome. I bring clarity to the HABOTN.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'm with Mr. Rome. Except for the golf - I'd go shopping. And instead of sushi, I'd eat Graeter's Toffee Chip ice cream. Monica, can you get Graeter's in West Virginia?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I totally understand what you mean Depressed and I personally feel that I've produced enough, but I'm way older than y'all. :-)
So, if someone wants to be my Sugar Daddy (like Auburn is to Tubs) then I'm good with that. However, eventually, I'd have to do something meaningfulish or I'd become even nuttier than I am and that's not a pretty visual.

    ReplyDelete
  29. That doesn't sound familiar, Cincy and I don't want to know about!!! Get thee behind me devil! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  30. mon... which stupid facebook stalker fans are you referencing?

    ReplyDelete
  31. what would be cool (never gonna happen) would be for him to take over a dept. of defense high school program in europe and help coach some of those kids up. fair amount of talent, not much resources, over there. plus, you get to live in england or germany for a time.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Good.... was hoping it wasn't AU fans.

Maybe the miami fans will turn him off to their program and he'll look elsewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I have to earn a living?

Exscuse me but that former Alerbamer player who choked his coach like he chokes his chicken called and says he hope you can feed your family.

Love to be a fly on that wall.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Sorry about missing the campfire. I am getting back to work after a long leave of absence, so, a campfire would have not been good for my productivity, such as it is.

    ReplyDelete
  35. productivity? what's that?

    ReplyDelete
  39. I am digging that avatar. I give it two thumbs up.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Hate to say, "I told you so," Jay, but it doesn't exactly sound like he is out of coaching...

    ReplyDelete
  41. Mon, your avatar gets a lovely nod from yours truly.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I heard a while back that TT was not allowed to take another coaching job for a period of 1 year. Is this not the case?

    ReplyDelete
  43. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  44. According to his contractual buyout that is.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Tuberville was a nobody on the football field at Southern Arkansas. It'd be like asking for a picture of Rick Cherry.

    ReplyDelete
  46. yippee! i get to vote! :) i kinda like the 'hottie' one myself. it just puts it right in your face monnie. no guesswork.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I like leaving anonymous posting available for those of us who use mobile devices (logging in can be tedious) but then you get non-sensical comments from "anonymous" and I get exasperated.

So anonymous posting is now banned again.

Sorry to: Peter, FSJ, jhag et al.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I really can live without an anatomical discussion of how women relieve themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  49. rumor is tubs to miami...DC...cant see it myself...but thats the rumor

    ReplyDelete
  50. Thanks for your substantive contribution, though. Added a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Once you sign in on the mobile device it should stay logged in...

It does on my blackberry at least...
That's the only way I get to follow along/post during the day...

    ReplyDelete
  52. Jay G puttin' the Hotties on lockdown!! It's his world, we just live here.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Reminds me of that scene from Little Giants...

    ReplyDelete
  54. Wow! I think this is the first time I've witnessed Jay giving the evil eye...

    ReplyDelete
  55. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQE87qfLpqM anybody remember this from last year?

    ReplyDelete
  56. Quick questions for those in the know:

WHY DIDN'T AU HIRE MARK ANDERSON?

Could you imagine the recruiting and the exciting pace of play?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Inverness, are you talking about Mike Anderson? I don't know a Mark Anderson but I'm not a die-hard hoops fan.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Sorry - yeah.

I'm going back in my head and thinking about it.

What was the reasoning when Anderson was on fire at UAB?

    ReplyDelete
  59. It was reported that AU wanted him to interview and he refused. I think he wanted to be offered the job without interviewing. That may not be the whole story.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I think I missed something while I was gone and I think I'm glad.

    Scottie B - Damages tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Awww man, I always miss the juicy stuff.

I will be sure to log on as anonymous next time it is allowed again and cuss everyone out. that way I will for sure be in on the drama.

    ReplyDelete
  62. don't worry. not missing Damages. tivo is a powerful, powerful thing. i'll start it up around 11 or so. i'm just chillin' at the gym, ya know, just folding towels.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I finally have DTV!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Anyone know of the kicker situation this year? Wes Byrum totally self-destructed last year. Those missed opportunities alone could have been the difference in the Vandy game.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I think T. Coleman and his soft verbal are stuck with us. Arkansas has 31 commits with only 2 already enrolled.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Oh I forgot Wed night was towel folding night.

Congrats, BigCat! How do you like it so far???

    ReplyDelete
  67. remember the good things Wes did for us too.

    sophmore slump hopefully.

    Remember the D. Duvall!

    ReplyDelete
  68. so Mon, is it true? is there contaminated water in West Virginia? and is it also true there is a reporter sniffing around the scene that may well soon be fearing for his life?

    ReplyDelete
  69. I'm not saying I don't remember the good things at all. I just hope that he can get things straightened out...it just seems like he lost all confidence in himself. But then again, there were a lot of confidence issues last year.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Scottie B- if I could get there in time I'd be happy to fold towels. I'd fold em for a week to avoid some tv shows.

Mon- give me the 5 Mil and watch me be happy doing nothing productive. I'm not going to change who I am just cause I suddenly get rich.

    ReplyDelete
  71. it's not a bad gig THT. it's a free gym membership at a pretty sweet place and a little extra money to feed my memorabilia obsession. 6-10:15 every wednesday.

i'm hoping Wes gets it back on track in the fall. Duval (All-American) had a slump as did Vaughn (All time AU scoring leader) and they turned out ok.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Scottie - YES and YES!! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  73. This blog is the prostate gland. After looking at Al.com for however long, i can't believe a place like this exists. A very hearty "BUNG" to you Mr. Tate and all the hotties.

    ReplyDelete
  74. The Vaughn point alone puts things into perspective...kicking is vital to winning games. I think the coaches that we have are not only good recruiters, but they are good motivators as well.

    ReplyDelete
  75. "this blog is the prostate gland" ????? great front page material, even if it doesn't make any sense. Someone please explain

    ReplyDelete
  76. If I ever stop laughing, I'm going to welcome you to the HABOTN, LeftoverCrack.

    ReplyDelete
  77. How do you know it's great front page material if you don't understand it? hummm???

    ReplyDelete
  78. that 2005 game at LSU was one of the most beautiful (K.Irons) and brutal (Vaughn) performances i have ever watched. god bless him for not giving up after that. he was a MUCH better kicker imo after that.

    ReplyDelete
  79. LCrack- do you mean the blog has gotten so big that you can no longer pee?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Maybe, but i was leaning more towards the "accident with a pencil and finding out that wikipedia wasn't lying" thing.

    ReplyDelete
  81. SNORT!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA

    ReplyDelete
  82. This portion of HABOTN sponsored by Flomax.

    ReplyDelete
  83. JGT - That was extremely cool that you spoke with Tubberville. One helluva guy in my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Wikipedia #7 geez

    ReplyDelete
  85. As someone who works in Urologic Oncology and has seen a number of surgically removed prostates, I can assure you this blog looks nothing like one.

Wikipedia pencil reference? I don't think I want to know.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Ah Zeus, nerd patrol alert. Everybody stop having fun and pretend like you enjoy George Will articles.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Nice snort....moved right from gufaw to snorting.
    Very Nice

    ReplyDelete
  88. I hope they are just pretending to be lost and that's all I have to say about that in mixed company.
    :-)

    ReplyDelete
  89. Jim! I had to! It was so snort-worthy...

    ReplyDelete
  90. Yeah, I'm not too worried about it. Right now i'm enjoying a brew and wondering what Morrissey does on a boring Wensday night. I bet he'd be writing a really awesome song.

    ReplyDelete
  91. g'night hotties. 10p eastern is about my limit. 5a and the morning run come early in the morning.

    leftover - uhm, oh nevermind.

    ReplyDelete
  92. It's time for me to do Damages.

    Lata

    ReplyDelete
  93. G'Night all.

    War Friggin' Eagle!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  94. Leftover Crack. Fantastic name. one of the first shows I ever went to was the band by the same name. Love the Morrisey reference, too.

Darn you, Tim. This is a pain to log in with this crappy mobile browser.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Nooj, Tubs to Miami as DC is a ridiculous rumor started by Miami fans.....then again, I would've said the same thing about Willis to Bama.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I guess I got home too late.

Sleep well, and know that I am gearing up for another day.

    ReplyDelete
  97. So, T.Coleman might end up at Auburn due to a full class at Arkansas?

    ReplyDelete
  98. Stallworth is listed as an ATH... plays QB for his HS (primarily run-option wildcat type)... What does he project as at AU? WR? Has anyone seen him line up as a WR, what kind of hands does he have?

    ReplyDelete
  99. Peter, thanks

. I always thought the name was hillarious and wished I had a time machine to go back and steal it from the band. They're actually really good too. They used to go by "Choking Victim." There's a side project under "Morning Glory" too. All really left wing and "anti-wto" stuff, but i like that some times.

I don't get how the whole world doesn't love Morrissey. I mean, yes, I do have a pet cat, but Morrissey is still awesome. All these emo bands worship him, but i really don't see the influence. At least he had a sense of humor about being a sexually ambiguous sour puss.

    ReplyDelete
  100. NoVa ... that was one seriously funny post. Front page you go.

    ReplyDelete
  101. am I allowed to appoint sectional HABOTN czars?

when does Auburn's baseball season start?

    ReplyDelete
  102. A couple weeks, Peter.

You getting geared up? One starting pitcher is better than none, I suppose.

    ReplyDelete
  103. yeah, Jay G. all this positive recruiting hype has me too happy. I need more losing.

    ReplyDelete
  104. no, really I love college baseball. good stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  105. So now I have a real account thingy and can participate in the avatar fun.

Aint got sh*t to do with sh*t but I just thought that I should mention...

    ReplyDelete
  106. I have no idea what the prostate/pencil/wikipedia business is all about, and I have a pretty juvenile sense of humor.

And Frankenbummer, feel free to appoint me a HABOTN czar of something.

    ReplyDelete
  107. that has to be my all-time favorite auburn pic... if only cuz there isnt a great one of "the hit" by jr

    ReplyDelete
  108. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  109. My wife bought me a copy of that pic signed by Ron Brown as a wedding present. She is cool.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Jay, how will the AU baseball team do this season? and 'one pitcher'?

    ReplyDelete
  111. Mike, I don't really get it either. I just let the spirit of Morrissey and having a pet cat take control sometimes.

Peter, If at all possible, I want to be the czar of ensuring everybody knows uncommon valor by jedi mind tricks is the greatest song ever.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Will, he goes by Ron now? I guess our little Ronnie is all grown up.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Any more rumors regarding McElwain and Smart leaving UAT?

    ReplyDelete
  114. An interesting Jon gruden quote tonight: "I'd love to coach again. NFL, college or high school. I'd love to coach some young college guys."

    Hmmmmm.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I hear from a VERY good source that CTT is having a blast in Florida getting ready for the SuperBowl!!!

    ReplyDelete
  116. Auburn baseball team is going to be thin on pitching again.

It's Burnside (coming back from injury) and Grant Dayton and ... young dudes.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Tuberville is in Tampa.

    I can verify that.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Are you into Jedi mind tricks, L-crack? Cool.

By the way, I just felt a great disturbance in the force.

    ReplyDelete
  119. An afternoon of Auburn Baseball is a beautiful thing.

    AAAAAubuuuuurn.....
    Tiiiiiiigerrrrrrs....

    ReplyDelete
  120. well that's disappointing

    ReplyDelete
  121. Fine, I admit it. I didn't really feel a disturbance in the force, I was just saying that to see if anyone else would say, "I felt it too" so that it wouldn't look like I was more in tune with the force than them. Bravo for not taking the bait.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Mike, yes sir. How could you not love a rap group that consists of a white muslim, a puerto rican buddhist, and a black 5%.

That disturbance was probably my id. My ego trys to calm it with being happy that being a Vet and getting a new GI bill is good enough, but my id keeps saying Auburn should participate in the "Yellow Ribbon Program" or the state of Alabama should wave out of state tuition costs for Vets

Dear old id is kind of miffed at having to go to Southern Union for a year to be able to claim residency. Ego counters with that if only we would of been able to do something with a ball we'd be golden and that pooping your pants and doing cartwheels in a war zone isn't that impressive.

Oh well, I love listening to "Born in the Usa" when i'm about 10 beers deep.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Sorry, mykal... Since I didn't feel it, I just assumed it was your dinner not sitting well.

    ReplyDelete
  124. anybody else watching Toney Douglas, former AU bball player, light it up against UNC?
He's got 30 with 2 minutes to go. FSU up 1.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Is he playing the point THT?

Surely he's not at the 2...

    ReplyDelete
  126. Douglas has been at point
16 secs FSU ball tie game (13 on shot clock)
    TO

    ReplyDelete
  127. douglas shot clock violation

Lawson at buzzer wins it for UNC

    Duke lost to Wake.

What a great day in college bball!!!

    ReplyDelete
  128. THT, enjoy your victory, but don't trash Duke.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Duke sucks!

    (somebody had to do it)

    ReplyDelete
  130. Don't dis Dook! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  131. Mon, I respect your knowledge on all things Auburn, but there is a line your can cross.......

    ReplyDelete
  132. i ain't skeered of you

    ReplyDelete
  133. be afraid... be very afraid...

    ReplyDelete
  134. I guess it's true, ignorance is bliss.

Duke basketball and Auburn football have several things in common.

    ReplyDelete
  135. I am a loyal Magic fan and I must say that JJ is a bust. He does have really nice hair though.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Sounds like PC has Dukie Love!

    ReplyDelete
  137. Auburn football #1
    Duke Basketball #1a

    ReplyDelete
  138. Maybe you kind find the hottest duke blog on the net and you can scare some people there?

    ReplyDelete
  139. kind = can
    in some languages

    ReplyDelete
  140. Not trying to scare anyone, if I was, I'd show you pictures of me in spandex. Just sticking up for my other team.

    ReplyDelete
  141. I want there to be a blog consisting solely of banter between Mikal and the new guy LC.....LC, wasn't that the name of one of those chicks on Laguna Beach? Not sure if she carried over to the Hills or not. Can someone fill me in?

    ReplyDelete
  142. HDBOTN?!? Doesn't really work that well.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Sounds about right, Franken.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Mate
    It's all in your perspective.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Sorry Mateo, left off a letter there.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Pete machine, I would if I could, but I know nothing of which you speak of. I'm eternally terrified of their being time machines. That being so, I'm sure if my 16 year old self came to the present and found my 23 year old self watching MTV, he'd probably break my cigarettes.

That's just not something i can live with.

It all boils down to needing cigarettes to be glamourous and a low sperm count. I never want to have kids. At that, I never want to have a daughter.

I fear I've done too much wrong to womerns that if I ever have a girl, I'll end up hanging out with a young Danny Devito and Christopher Loyd.

    ReplyDelete
  147. THT, that looked like the Douglass we heard about at AU. A great talent, but he totally consumes the basketball and leaves everyone on the team watching him play 1-on-5.

    ReplyDelete
  148. at 16, I loved MTV (spring break, come on!). At 21, I loathed it. At 25, I found a security in myself that allowed me to love it again. I've been watching it off and on ever since. Too many train wrecks to look away.Bromance creeps me out, though. I need an official Bill Simmons ruling on whether it is truely creepy or not, but for now, I hold that it is.

    ReplyDelete
  149. You're so out of the target demograhic though man. I look at it from the perspective of being in a war zone and to me It's like "Is this what I got shot at and pooped my pants for?" I hate to play that card, but it's true.

It's all about Bukowski, dude. I mean, his books are boring and make me feel like I could write about my life and have some kind of counter-culture following one day, but.....

"A detailed depiction of a certain taboo male fantasy: the uninhibited bachelor, slobby, anti-social, and utterly free."

Yeah, quotes like that make the seconds seem like hours until I get to unleash my enlightenment (by way of being a weirdo) on Auburn University.

    ReplyDelete
  150. speaking of things that creep me out, does anyone every get the impression that the Uni Watch Blog is simply a fashion blog hiding under a sports umbrella. I mean, I truely appreciate the vast knowledge of sports history that it conveys, but sometimes I can picture Perez Hilton as the webmaster there. Perez Hilton images creep me out.

    ReplyDelete
  151. I lived on MTV when I was in about the sixth grade and they were playing Nirvana and Pearl Jam videos. It has been a very very very very long time since I have watched anything else on it.

It seems like half of the cable channel's niches have been abandoned, and now they just do reality tv aimed at a certain audience (TLC, MTV, VH1, Spice Channel, etc)

    ReplyDelete
  152. Mikal. Cable TV will never recover from the writer's strike. It forced them into reality TV, which rhe suits realized was very cheap. Thank G-d for FX for continuing to put out quality original series.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Yeah, I think VH1 is the funniest. Like years ago the most "urban" they got was showing a Sade video. Now they're the channel that broadcats the "Hip-Hop Hall Of Fame" thing or whatever.

In all honesty, I don't understand why Danzig isn't in charge of all these channels.

If I had my say, they'd just play "Mother" and "Brain Eaters" 20 hours a day.

The other 4 would be dedicated to the hilarious and mysogonistic things I say to my girlfriend.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Glengary Glenn Ross on HDNet channel on AT&T U-Verse.

    Good flickage.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Just finished Oasis live on Paladia.

    Arrested Development next.

    ReplyDelete
  156. I'm starting to get p o'd about gas prices again, and they're not even above 2 bucks a gallon yet. Jay G, petroleum expert, what's the latest on this front? Will we see $3 by summer, or will it hover around 2 for a while?

    ReplyDelete
  157. Arrested Development as in the band or the tv show? Either way you can't go wrong.

If it's the tv show, check out.....

  162. Good morning Hotties. Just caught up reading the posts from where I left off last night.

Leftover - I thank you for your service and everyone else that wore a uniform. You might be starting to grow on me a bit. The prostate gland bit really threw me for awhile.

Anyway, let's have some good news and good rumor-mongering today. Now let's do it to them before they do it to us.

  163. Good Morning All.

Let's see if we can keep the commit train rolling!!!

  164. The hottest gland in all the land, let us all prostrate ourselves before the Prostate.

However, may I say all the discussion of prostates and cracks to this mid-40something is quite disconcerting.

    Carpe Recruitem!

  165. Good Morning folks, I'll be out and about, I can't wait to hear Jay's 'crutin' wrap this weekend.

I'm feeling like we'll be getting some good news.

Good Morning, Hotties. I'm with Jime Rome and depressedAUfan. He has more money than most of us will ever see in our lifetimes put together. If he feels like he has to do something, why not volunteer? There are plenty of reputable charitable organizations out there where he could make a difference.

  170. I don't know how to edit the link within these posts to make an actual nifty hyperlink, but I think this needs to be shared as often as possible - http://www.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=905423

  177. G'mornin folks!
Carpe Recruitem! I like it, Jet!

I just saw an ESPN rss feed scroll across reporting that Dennis Felton has been fired from UGA.

I wonder when AU is going to get in on this bball coach firing party the SECOND is having? Better act fast if we want a shot at Anthony Grant - he's probably the next coach at UGA.

    ReplyDelete
  178. That should read SEC and not SECOND. Dadgum blackberry trying to spell for me!

  179. So you guys still talking about prostates?

    ReplyDelete
  180. At my age, Michael, it is the source of a steady stream of conversation. Or sometimes not so steady.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Jet - we're the same age, sometimes it's difficult to get it started or starts when you'd really rather be sleeping too.

    ReplyDelete
  182. It is definitely a growing problem in today's society that is always on the go.

    ReplyDelete
  183. I don't know if you guys realize this, but a lot of what yall are saying can be double entendres for the condition of the aging prostate!

    ReplyDelete
  184. My apologies for not stopping by the warm circle of gehyness yesterday.

  185. Jay,

Next time you see or speak to Tuberville, please pass on a big "War Eagle" and "Thanks" from the HABOTN crew. There's a lot of respect for the man here, and I for one would like that message delivered to him.

    'preciate it.

    Sullivan013

    ReplyDelete
  186. I can see it now. "Hey Tommy, Sullivan013 says 'War Eagle' to you."

Tommy's eyes tear up and says to Jay, "Jay, you have no idea how much that means to me."
