I don't think I'm going to be a significant part of this broadcast. They're just hoping to get this thing on the air, so I'll probably be a second or third option today. So it goes.
Crap, and I was going to call in to the show and turn Lane Kiffin in for cheating. Someone called my house the other day while I was commenting on the HABOTN blog, a clear violation of NCAA rules. I suspect it was Kiffin.
Sorry for so much Kiffin, but I am counting on it to carry me through to the fall. Later we will get into more philosophical discussions such as if Lane Kiffin whines in the woods and nobody is there to hear it, is it really whining?
Steve, I guess I'm like you... it's nice to have someone out there in the SEC East so we can stop hearing about Spurrier all the time. I'm just glad all the gamecock fans have to deal with the fact that Michael Phelps was at Carolina when he got caught in one too many photos.
Crap..posted this in the old thread. Moving it here and deleting the old.....
FSJ said... I know this is an Auburn blog, but I found this funny...
One day after Lane Kiffin takes shots at Nick Saban (Nick needs to thank Lance Thompson for his class) and one day after Lance Thompson says that UT is going to put a fence around Memphis and Nick Saban will never get another one of his recruits.........
Alabama gets a verbal commitment from a WR from Memphis that has an offer from UT.
FSJ, more and more I am learning to appreciate Lane Kiffin. Other than Mike Price, I don't no of any other coach that has generated more talk prior to coaching an SEC game.
Seanz - Mr. U had his usual schtick going, towards the end he began making the point of what amounted to an apology (my interpretation) for yesterday and was quite clear that JGT & JM were not laughing w/yesterday's call. He also began to say that after the show he was called on the carpet by JGT & JM...beyond that I can't tell you, the 740 demons reared their ugly heads again and destroyed the stream.
Urban Meyer is interesting, I don't know whether to hate him or like him. He is cocky and has shown incredibly horrible sportsmanship, but he runs a clean program and goes the extra mile for guys with personal problems on his team. I think I would classify my feelings for him as mild distaste.
Lane Kiffin is like if your boss died and handed over the company to his 9 year old brat son, who you always hated anyway. I really think that guy sucks.
Jay, your recruiting bios are hilarious. "[Insert Recruit's Name Here] is relatively unknown in the recruiting world and weighs 135 pounds soaking wet. What he lacks in speed, he makes up for in lack of ability to play organized football. His future position at Auburn remains a mystery, although he should get used to carrying multiple Gatorade bottles in each hand."
listened to the radio while out for lunch......who is Mr. United? Do you know Jay? Sorry about last night....we were late and I couldn't get down there Maybe next time
Mr. U said that he and JayG always had the Hotties back....so is Mr U a Hottie by another name? If so, then come out of the closet and tell us who you are
Michael, as for Kiffin, I do see why UT hired him. He fit their needs perfectly. After all, how do you find a coach that can piss off Alabama fans more than Fulmer? It is a tough slot to fill.
Hopefully that pipeline works out better than the carver pipeline we tried to establish with Derron Furr or the Sefner Florida pipeline we tried to creat with Eric Smith. Pipelines hardly work in my opinion.
After yesterday's call, JGT made reference to Mr. U being a Hottie. If he is, I'd guess he's either a lurker only or that he posts under a different alias.
Monica, personally I think hotties attacking other hotties is against the hottie code. Any hottie attacking another hottie will be traded to al.com for a draft pick to be named later.
You must have me confused with that Vick guy. I get it all the time, ever since they discovered my house in the woods that was painted "can't see me" black
Scottie - I didn't listen today, but yesterday Mr. U called me fat (that's at least the 2nd time he's done that on the Roundtable) asked if I had a job and some other goofy cracks. At one time he called everybody on this blog "fat" now I'm his favorite. Not sure why the "fat" focus or why the "Monica" focus.
That sounds like a great idea to me, Steve. It's certainly al.com behavior.
I didn't hear it, but that Mr. U guys sounds like a duechebag to me. I think talking about him on this blog is what he wants, if he has something worth hearing he can address it here and make himself known. Other than that clown shouldn't even be discussed and given the satisfaction.
I'm sure he meant "phat," whatever that means in the spectacular vernacular he perpetrates when he castigates, gesticulates, masticates and reverberates.
Back to the pipeline in G'ville, GA, and since we are all looking forward to NSD next year..... Tai-lor Jones, WR/S, and another kid named Simms, ATH. The Jones kid supposedly has 20+ offers.
Dilliard pipeline worked... Hargrave pipeline if you can even call it that works... Your trying to tell me pipelines don't work? Maybe Tubs was the problem
BigMike ... Ron's diagnosis was correct ... a nice mixture of vinegar and water ... sour words offered upon other callers and water weak takes on the world of sports, a la Stephen A. Smith.
J-Z, I've had the PBR on numerous occasions...each time after the first was probably a mistake to be honest. I prefer the High Life if I'm talking budget beer.
I wouldn't get too upset over someone, even if they say stuff on the radio. I just assume that they are expressing some dissatisfaction with themselves. I usually assume they are kids and move on. Somehow getting insulted by someone who's last promotion got them in charge of the drive through window just doesn't bother me.
Hardess, Brewton, AL the summer before I started my Freshman year at Auburn. Mrs. Riddle was my manager and thanks to her I'll never forget this, "If you've got time to lean, you've got time to clean."
You know what really grinds my gears...on Super Bowl Sunday I stopped at the grocery store to pick up some last minute things for my party and I get to the frozen section and pick up my wings and then I think, wow I could use some more beer at the house. I truck on over to the beer aisle to find the lights shut off and remember that I live in GA and it sucks.
hehateme: I'm going to hate myself, but I think this is it: Panasonic Viera TH-58PZ850U Plasma HDTV
The new Samsung 950 LCD was very tempting, but it has a "plasma-like" screen, i.e. glare, unlike other LCDs. My only concern is the ESPN score tracker getting burned into the bottom of the screen.
When you go to Best Buy to make your final choice, invite the media and all your friends and family.
Make them wait 20 minutes for you while you comb your hair in the boy's room.
Then come out with the three finalists lined up, take out an ax handle and smash the two runnersup, and leaving your choice as the last remaining TV as your friends and familiy cheer.
Dang it, the car keys gnomes have stuck again. They snuck into my apartment, took my car keys, and stuck them in the front door. I hate car keys gnomes.
Doc - after your presser, when it comes time to pay for said selection, you should stop at the counter and say "dang, somebody's gonna have to go back and get a $hitload o' dimes." Then just stand there and wait.
As for blue laws, in SC we take pride in having some of the stupidest laws in the country. On Sundays you can buy nothing but basically food before 1:30 pm on Sundays. Some states just don't sell alcohol on sunday. Here, we are stopping the spread of people buying sneakers on sundays.

SteveFC, your first post in this thread immediately made me think there's a technological prostate problem at WMSP.
Mr.United- 2 Monica- 0
AU1N04, Cobra Commander was my thought exactly. If so, he's changed his MO by going on the radio to avoid the banhammer. Crafty. Its obviously a hottie though. No coincidence that he was talking to Jay G on WMSP about Monica.
Comm, look for some DL players to move to the OL. Also, if I understand correctly, if Hawthorne and Zachary don't improve, we may force them to gain 100# and move to playing OT.
Comm'r, According to my depth chart, We have 3 true OT (Ziemba, McCain, Green) Cooper and Coulahan could probably play either OT or OG and one will be needed in that capacity (I placed Cooper there) and the other will be needed at G. Darrell Roseman is listed as an OT, simply for lack of a better place to put him.
Can't we all just get along. Please leave the late Cobra Commander alone. After his pole of people who want to get Sensi band only received one vote, and that was someone that voted to ban Cobra, I haven't heard much from him. I suspect he is hiding somewhere in his fortress cave built under an extinct volcano.
Dr HABOTN...if I may confuse the Man TV search a little more. Back in Dec when I was on a similar hunt, everything I read and heard about Plasma boiled down to an expected life span of 5-7 years because of the now known issues with plasma. It should though be substantially less expensive than the LCDs of the same variation.
I ended up opting for the 52" LG 1080, 120hz HD because I expect my Man TV to last 20 years.
PF, I don't have a problem with your ID theory, but this dude has been yapping on the morning show here in cartoon character mode for a long, long time. Another good reason to listen elsewhere.
Remember AJ Green moved to OL last year from DE and was reportedly doing very well there. He has the size (proper ht) and athleticism to play OT and has surely bulked up some from his '08 listed wt of 280. McCain as a senior should step up and take over the RT spot, but Green is my sleeper for that job. I think the line is stronger (starting 5) with Isom and Berry at the 2 guard spots and Pugh at C (with his experience there).
By the way, it was wonderful to see how supportive people were during the CC incident. Sensi is one of us. Sensi will always be one of us. I will disagree with him just like I do everybody else, including myself, but I am glad he is still here.
I am excited to have Pugh at center. I loved the Boz. He was a true Auburn man, but he had limited ability. He was just a hard worker that was always going to give you all he had. Pugh has a lot more potential.
Jet (or anyone) - to your point of listening elsewhere, please suggest something else to someone that must rely on streaming. I cannot and will not listen to the sports talk local to the ATL. I tried JOX and didn't care for that too much. I'm just looking for a fair and balanced show that will give me updates about the teams from my home state.
*It was nice meeting "Emmett" at Salsarita's today. He rolled in during the final moments of an unpleasant day. Sorry if I was abrupt.
*I termed Mr. U a "hottie" because it's clear that he reads this site. I don't know his handle. I don't know his real-life name.
*Sorry about the show today. Out of my hands.
*AJ Greene hasn't looked good to me in two years.
*The entire Monica/Mr. U issue is completely overblown. I'd rather discuss the BC coaching situation. He called her fat. Contrary to what some people "reported" here, I did not laugh along with Mr. U's comment. I was an obese man for most of my life, I am (happily) married to a bigger gal and I'm sensitive to this issue.
Miller High Life...Really? That crap nearly turned me away from beer forever during my formative years. You want to talk about something that could have sparked a worldwide recession...
Jet, thanks for the DOH question about Enos. Stumped everyone in the bar except for one team. Good work.
I figured there really wasn't much else out there. Personally, it's not going to be that much of a deal for me now. I'm not enough of a basketball fan to listen to sports radio talk about it so I'll just listen to my tunes until late summer or thereabouts.
Oh well. I believe it's time for gatiger to load up, head home and get an early start on the weekend.
Jet - before you go saying something about me leaving early and that being the pot and kettle type thing, I show up at 5:30ish in the morning. So, leave me alone you meanie.
I can liste to national radio (espn, fox, rivals). i cannot bear to listen to finebaum or other local shows, especially when people call in. It makes me angry, and nobody likes me when i'm angry
I have definitely used up my eligibility. That's too bad, because at 6'5'' 230lbs, and a decent 40 time (well, its been a while), I would've made an excellent OT in the Tony Franklin system.
gatiger, you won't find your hometown updates, but I recommend 790theticket.com for entertaining streaming sports talk.
You have to have a certain mental attitude when you listen to Finebaum. Just listen to the people that call in and try to guess which ones were on television describing how the tornado sounded before it took out their single wide.
Big Mike -the confusionometer is already pegged to the far right, so you can't increase the confusion. However, you certainly have the ability to lower my ignoramusonometer reading, for which I am grateful.
Hrmmmm.... I guess like every other report we heard out of practice last year the AJ Green development was not going well. I knew he had looked bad at DE...
I guess that means it is McCain or bust for RT this year. Time to step up senior!
JGT, Good job holding it together today. You guys did the best you could. with what you had to work with.
A long time ago in a forum far away I was an al.com poster. While I have recovered, something just came to mind from those days. At the time of Chizik's departure for Texas, many Auburn "fans" expressed hate for him and considered him a traitor. I wonder what they are thinking now?
Hey... I have 4 years of eligibility left. 6'4" 245....Anyone got the phone number for MTSU? Think a 10 minute 40 time would get me a look from dumbass?
In one of my rare fits of dispassionate objectivism (haven't had many in 12 years), I thought it was perfectly logical for Chizik to leave after 2004.
The previous DC at Texas got a BCS conference head coaching job. You can argue that Petrino had, too, the year prior. Petrino, though, was considered the offensive architect. With Tubs' rep (earned or unearned -- I'm not arguing either way), there could have been the perception that Chiz was riding coattails.
To me, it was a good move to bolster his resume. His mistake was taking a horrible job for his first head coaching gig.
Btw, JGT, I wasn't refuting what you said.... I believe you.... It just seemed that everything the coaches said last year generally turned out to be the exact opposite. And I guess I was remembering a few of those statements regarding Green.
Jet, in general I only judges coaches by what they do at Auburn, although Willis is an exception. I can't blame a coach for trying to further his career. Chizik likely made a smart move heading to Texas. As for going to Iowa State, that probably wasn't the greatest idea in the world.
stream babay
ReplyDeleteok baby.. not babay

Think that was a coincidence? I don't.
Faker, I am once again awed by the mighty power that the demi-god Nick Saban wields.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe I'm not. So it goes.
eh its just funny to me how he responded.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Urban will respond by calling timeout with 10 seconds left to kick a field goal to go up by 40....
Faker, I think Urban sets up a hook and ladder to Jeff Demps in the hopes of making it to 46 but that's just me.
ReplyDeleteWhat all did Mr. U have to say today?
ReplyDeleteFSJ, more and more I am learning to appreciate Lane Kiffin. Other than Mike Price, I don't no of any other coach that has generated more talk prior to coaching an SEC game.

$aban, well he is just a whore who will sell out anything or anyone for money.
Petrino, i like as a coach but otherwise, see $aban above....
the others I like or just do not care enough about....
That's interesting Steve..
ReplyDeleteI always liked Spurrier...and Tuberville to be honest.
I wanted Alabama to hire him when Stallings retired.
ReplyDeleteI'll add that I appreciate the honesty sans fluff.
ReplyDeletelistened to the radio while out for lunch......who is Mr. United?
ReplyDeleteDo you know Jay?
Sorry about last night....we were late and I couldn't get down there
Maybe next time
So Gainedville High has two top tanked juniors I think Chiz and co. Are trying to start a mini-pipeline (josh jacskon) to get these kids. Brilliant
ReplyDeletejhaq, a very interesting thought on Josh Jackson. I had never considered him being recruited to line up other recruits. Pretty cool idea.

The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.

Since when does it take cojones to attack someone in the relative anonymity of a blog? Just more little boy behind a keyboard dribble imho.

On a brighter note, Publix has PBR longnecks on sale for $6.99 for a 12er.

Well raise my rent, GaTiger, you ARE the Kid!
ReplyDeletePBR huh...that's something you'd consider drinking?
ReplyDeleteGlad I didn't listen today. Sounds more like Jerry Springer programming than sports talk in which case I'll pass everytime.

ReplyDeleteThe Jones kid supposedly has 20+ offers.
Sean, it was one of the many beer purchases I made today...Don't knock it til you've tried it. Vastly underrated beer.
ReplyDelete$6.99 sounds like about $5 too much to me.
ReplyDeleteI am behind you Monica!
ReplyDeleteWe know he's out there and is now trying to cover his.....
Come on fess up with us now or we won't talk about you anymore
Dilliard pipeline worked... Hargrave pipeline if you can even call it that works... Your trying to tell me pipelines don't work? Maybe Tubs was the problem

crap. I thought it started at 2 CST. I'm confused.

ReplyDeleteJet, sorry about that. You know the old saying. You can't please all the people all the time, but you can't certainly piss them off.
ReplyDeleteMonica, you've just given me Post Grocery Store War Syndrome with that infamous quote.
ReplyDeleteMr. U = Cobra Commander
ReplyDeleteI don't know actually but it does make a bit of sense.
LOL Sean sorry for setting off a flashback!

ReplyDeleteNo problem, Steve...
ReplyDeleteThe truth is I was a walking confirmation of the Peter Principle ... or the Wendy's Principle.
I had been promoted to drive-thru grill cook. And I was never any better than a fry cook.
Deep down, I know that. And it hurts.
Slow day.... Can we fire a basketball coach, or hire an assistant football coach or something so we'll have something worthwhile to talk about.
ReplyDeleteSeanz - ditto, the GA part that is. I try to be sure to restock when I dwindle down to 6.
ReplyDeleteWell, I am off to play my favourite game, where's that car keys.
ReplyDeleteblue laws are just wierd. does bama still have the one that stops beer sales on election day?

ReplyDeleteHello all.
ReplyDeleteHow many OTs on the roster? My arithmetic has merely 3: McCain, Ziemba and MAYBE Coulahan. Pugh has played but he's tagged to be our starting center.
Someone please enlighten me and end the inner tumult. Now that the NSD myopia has passed, paranoia is setting in.
Gov Jet - great idea, except I think I'm going to gamble big time and order over the 'net. Price is $1000 less.
ReplyDeleteWell, maybe $6000 less once you factor in the cost of the 2 runner ups i would have to pay for.
That's authentic frontier gibberish.
ReplyDeletehump, what hump?

AU1N04, Cobra Commander was my thought exactly. If so, he's changed his MO by going on the radio to avoid the banhammer. Crafty. Its obviously a hottie though. No coincidence that he was talking to Jay G on WMSP about Monica.
How did Pugh do out there at tackle? I don't remember much about the games, they all just run together in one awful blur.
ReplyDeleteComm, look for some DL players to move to the OL. Also, if I understand correctly, if Hawthorne and Zachary don't improve, we may force them to gain 100# and move to playing OT.
ReplyDeleteNo, dadblammit, ramsnabbit. I said the sheriff is DING.
ReplyDeleteComm'r,
ReplyDeleteAccording to my depth chart,
We have 3 true OT (Ziemba, McCain, Green)
Cooper and Coulahan could probably play either OT or OG and one will be needed in that capacity (I placed Cooper there) and the other will be needed at G.
Darrell Roseman is listed as an OT, simply for lack of a better place to put him.
sure some dl's will move to ol, but will they be ready to play i this season?
ReplyDeleteCan't we all just get along. Please leave the late Cobra Commander alone. After his pole of people who want to get Sensi band only received one vote, and that was someone that voted to ban Cobra, I haven't heard much from him. I suspect he is hiding somewhere in his fortress cave built under an extinct volcano.
ReplyDeleteDr HABOTN...if I may confuse the Man TV search a little more. Back in Dec when I was on a similar hunt, everything I read and heard about Plasma boiled down to an expected life span of 5-7 years because of the now known issues with plasma. It should though be substantially less expensive than the LCDs of the same variation.
ReplyDeleteI ended up opting for the 52" LG 1080, 120hz HD because I expect my Man TV to last 20 years.
Harrison, seeing as the OL we had last season wasn't ready to play, I will not commit to any DLs turning into OLs that are ready to play.
ReplyDeleteYou gotta move Frankenschmidt outside to tackle.
ReplyDeletePF, I don't have a problem with your ID theory, but this dude has been yapping on the morning show here in cartoon character mode for a long, long time. Another good reason to listen elsewhere.
There are a lot of stupid people in this world. My goal in life is to not become one of them.
ReplyDeleteI believe the Commander has been officially demoted.
ReplyDeleteRemember AJ Green moved to OL last year from DE and was reportedly doing very well there. He has the size (proper ht) and athleticism to play OT and has surely bulked up some from his '08 listed wt of 280. McCain as a senior should step up and take over the RT spot, but Green is my sleeper for that job.
ReplyDeleteI think the line is stronger (starting 5) with Isom and Berry at the 2 guard spots and Pugh at C (with his experience there).
Oh, I totally agree. I commented yesterday that he sounded like one of Jim Rome's bozo callers.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, it was wonderful to see how supportive people were during the CC incident. Sensi is one of us. Sensi will always be one of us. I will disagree with him just like I do everybody else, including myself, but I am glad he is still here.
ReplyDeleteWhere is Sensi?
ReplyDeleteAnd where is TommyD?
I am excited to have Pugh at center. I loved the Boz. He was a true Auburn man, but he had limited ability. He was just a hard worker that was always going to give you all he had. Pugh has a lot more potential.
ReplyDeleteFrankenschmidt's eligibility expired. Then there's that nasty bit on the blogs about a chronic yeast infection.
ReplyDeleteSensi was on last night.
ReplyDeleteJet (or anyone) - to your point of listening elsewhere, please suggest something else to someone that must rely on streaming. I cannot and will not listen to the sports talk local to the ATL. I tried JOX and didn't care for that too much. I'm just looking for a fair and balanced show that will give me updates about the teams from my home state.
ReplyDeleteHarumph.
ReplyDeleteLowcountry ... thanks for the Harumph.
ReplyDeleteThat guy didn't give me a harumph!
Such a thing does not exist gatiger
ReplyDeleteGaTiger ... I have nothing to offer you ... I am sorry.
ReplyDeleteI agree gatiger...I'd rather listen to nothing than Buckhead and whats his name in atlanta. I end up listening to ESPN radio on XM most of the time.
ReplyDeleteJet - harumph.
ReplyDeleteMiller - dang.
Will someone give the Governor a harumph?!?
ReplyDeleteGaTiger, you watch your %&*.
ReplyDeleteA few items:
ReplyDelete*It was nice meeting "Emmett" at Salsarita's today.
Stop the lying. Stop the drama.
The end.
'Scuse me while I whip this out...
ReplyDeleteMiller High Life...Really? That crap nearly turned me away from beer forever during my formative years. You want to talk about something that could have sparked a worldwide recession...
Jet, thanks for the DOH question about Enos. Stumped everyone in the bar except for one team. Good work.
Jay, is it because A.J. Greene is fat?
ReplyDeleteOr is it because he transferred from BC?
OK, I'll move on.
I figured there really wasn't much else out there. Personally, it's not going to be that much of a deal for me now. I'm not enough of a basketball fan to listen to sports radio talk about it so I'll just listen to my tunes until late summer or thereabouts.
ReplyDeleteOh well. I believe it's time for gatiger to load up, head home and get an early start on the weekend.
Peace out Hotties.
Jet - before you go saying something about me leaving early and that being the pot and kettle type thing, I show up at 5:30ish in the morning. So, leave me alone you meanie.
ReplyDeleteWell played, Jetarsky.
ReplyDeleteNo, no, no. GaTiger.
ReplyDeleteSit your butt back down!
You carve me up this a.m. about showing up at 9, leaving at 4, long lunches, and knocking out early on Fridays.
No ... you're going to have the hap-hap-happiest work day since Bing Crosby tapdanced with Danny F. Kaye.
You can't leave. The plants'll die.
Don't tell our radio show Hotties, but I don't listen to people talk on the radio. That's why cars have mp3 jacks and people have ipod nanos.
ReplyDeletegatiger, I was up at the crack of 11:00. I went to bed around 5:30 ish:)
ReplyDeleteWhere's the Tylenol?
ReplyDeleteNow go do that voodoo that you do so well!!!!
ReplyDeleteGaTiger ... just remember when your doppelganger turned his back on someone ... the little kid shot him in the *^$.
ReplyDeleteHedy ... welcome!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about it. It's 1871 ... you can sue her.
I do ibuprophin with a tylenol pm kicker at night.
ReplyDeleteLater kids....I'm out
ReplyDeleteI can liste to national radio (espn, fox, rivals). i cannot bear to listen to finebaum or other local shows, especially when people call in. It makes me angry, and nobody likes me when i'm angry
ReplyDeleteHarrison ... I don't think your mood has anything to do with it.
ReplyDeleteOh wook. A wed wose. How womantic.
ReplyDeleteI'm out, too. Y'all have a dang fine weekend, and War Eagle.
Finebaum = trash
ReplyDeleteJay,
ReplyDeleteHave you seen Greene practice at OT or did they move him over there after practices were on lockdown?
I have definitely used up my eligibility. That's too bad, because at 6'5'' 230lbs, and a decent 40 time (well, its been a while), I would've made an excellent OT in the Tony Franklin system.
ReplyDeletegatiger, you won't find your hometown updates, but I recommend 790theticket.com for entertaining streaming sports talk.
You have to have a certain mental attitude when you listen to Finebaum. Just listen to the people that call in and try to guess which ones were on television describing how the tornado sounded before it took out their single wide.
ReplyDeleteLet's make Finebaum the sheriff of Rock Ridge.
ReplyDeleteBig Mike -the confusionometer is already pegged to the far right, so you can't increase the confusion. However, you certainly have the ability to lower my ignoramusonometer reading, for which I am grateful.
ReplyDeleteswift kick to the nuts there Jet, but you're absolutely wrong. I have at least 8 friends and 1 wife who liked me at one point
ReplyDeleteJust joshin' ya, Harrison. I think you're just peachy.
ReplyDeleteI know what it sounds like when a player is doing well in practice ... and I didn't hear that one time last year.
ReplyDeleteI would have heard that ... had it been true.
Finebaum would be well suited for that collection of $hitkickers.
ReplyDeleteHow are the Hotties this afternoon?
ReplyDeleteToday has been an outstanding day so far...
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
I feel a group hug coming on.
ReplyDeletei've always felt that o linemen "specialized" in a particular position and weren't as interchangeable as au's coaching staff treated them.
ReplyDeleteHrmmmm.... I guess like every other report we heard out of practice last year the AJ Green development was not going well. I knew he had looked bad at DE...
ReplyDeleteI guess that means it is McCain or bust for RT this year.
Time to step up senior!
JGT,
Good job holding it together today.
ReplyDeletei knew you were. i just wanted to brag about how popular i am. i also won the spelling bee in 4th grade
ReplyDeleteMan...I need a schnitzengruben.
ReplyDeleteScott,
ReplyDeleteThey shouldn't have been as interchangeable as Nall used them. That's why they were never able to get any chemistry working together.
Actually, hotties "reported" here that Jay G. didn't laugh.
ReplyDeleteJZ - I haven't decided what it will be, but I do think I'll be having a cocktail when I get home.

ReplyDeleteHey... I have 4 years of eligibility left. 6'4" 245....Anyone got the phone number for MTSU? Think a 10 minute 40 time would get me a look from dumbass?
ReplyDelete12 is my limit
ReplyDeleteHarrison, can you prove this Spelling Bee claim?
ReplyDeleteHey MR. UNITED
ReplyDeleteEFF YOU!
Suck on that!
Steve ...
ReplyDeleteIn one of my rare fits of dispassionate objectivism (haven't had many in 12 years), I thought it was perfectly logical for Chizik to leave after 2004.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
ReplyDeleteI don't have the trophy anymore Mon, but is my word not enough? I would never lie to you guys.
ReplyDeleteOK, smart guy. Mr. Spelling Bee.
ReplyDeleteSpell ... "occurrence"
Btw, JGT, I wasn't refuting what you said.... I believe you.... It just seemed that everything the coaches said last year generally turned out to be the exact opposite. And I guess I was remembering a few of those statements regarding Green.
ReplyDeleteDitto? Ditto, you provincial putz?
ReplyDeleteHaving two good quarterbacks is a great problem to have
ReplyDeleteDang near lost a $400 handcart.
ReplyDeleteGod darnit, Mr. Lamarr, you use your tongue prettier than a twenty dollar whore.
ReplyDeletecan you use it in a sentence? what is its origin?
ReplyDeleteTypically it would be.... Unless you have a dumbass coaching/evaluating them.
ReplyDeleteTried to change the subject to get it away from there, but J-Z couldn't help himself.
ReplyDelete$hitkicker
ReplyDeleteMy mind is aglow with whirling, transient nodes of thought careening through a cosmic vapor of invention. However, TF is still a dumbass.
ReplyDeleteanother unsuccessful week of athletic sales has come and gone. off to the hizzle hotties. later.
ReplyDeleteand save the drama fo yo momma.
OK, Harrison ... it is Olde English from the word, "ochure."
ReplyDeleteSentence: Jay G's frustration with misbehaving HOTTIES is a daily occurrence.
How do you people afford to sit around and do this all day? I obviously missed something with the whole Mr. United thing.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, in-laws this weekend with no internet.
Have a great weekend and as always....War Friggin' Eagle!!!
dang jet, that's probably the only word i don't know how to spell. glad i didn't get that one in 4th grade
ReplyDeleteit's easy ehyou. just read and post while you're at work
ReplyDeleteJet, in general I only judges coaches by what they do at Auburn, although Willis is an exception. I can't blame a coach for trying to further his career. Chizik likely made a smart move heading to Texas. As for going to Iowa State, that probably wasn't the greatest idea in the world.
ReplyDeleteThat's a brilliant strategy, Harrison
ReplyDeleteMeeting adjourned. Off to snatch a little land.
ReplyDelete
