TUESDAY MORNING
Post No. 1,029
Daphne High quarterback Robert Cooper has committed himself to the Tigers' program, but won't make the roster until January 2010 ... at the earliest. We know this because our friends at AuburnSports.com tell us it is so.
Cooper will be grayshirting. He will sign a Letter of Intent on Wednesday, but will not enroll as a full-time student until January. That will preclude him from participating in football activities this fall because those endeavors are limited to full-time undergrads or graduates engaged in post-baccalaureate studies. When he joins the team in January 2010, he'll have five years to play four.
Cooper can play a variety of positions. Time will tell.
Auburn's last successful grayshirt: LB Chris Evans.

ReplyDeleteBowl Game Highlights
ReplyDeleteRepost from the last thread. The big on the Sugar Bowl is worth it.
strange
ReplyDelete10 Year Anniversary (when The Onion was funnier)
ReplyDelete"Oh The Humanity"
"Funnier" in my personal opinion that is...
ReplyDeleteThe Sugar Bowl headline was not from the Onion. That was real.
ReplyDeleteJay G, is there a time when kids can just try out to walk on the team, or do they have to have that lined up before the get to campus? i guess i mean, does Auburn ever have open try outs or anything like that?
ReplyDeleteI wonder where they see Cooper playing. He is a dual threat QB, but seems a bit slow from what I have seen and read. He does have good size.
ReplyDeletePM has a list of players who were former Auburn commitments. He lists ten, and a lot of them look to be good recruits. Somehow I didn't realize how many we have lost.
ReplyDeleteAuburn holds open tryouts, yes.
ReplyDeleteThey also invited selected players to walk on during the fall.
Hotties ...
ReplyDeleteHaving known GaTiger for the better part of 28 years, let me assure you his new avatar is beyond apropos.
And "Oh, the Humanity" still makes me cry everytime I read that.
Jay..do you know anything on the Burgess kid (Rick's son of the Rick and Bubba show...) I heard Rick talking this AM that he had committed to AU.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jay
ReplyDeleteBrian, I've heard he has been invited as a walk-on.
ReplyDeleteSeanZ ... I have heard same ... invited walk-on. Who knows? He may be fighting Dellenbach and Knipper for the snapping job.
ReplyDeleteCool..thanks SeanZ.
ReplyDeleteJay G, what do you think the mark of success will be for Chizik's recruiting for this year. I mean if he gets one person to change he mind, is that a success. Just trying to get an idea of what the standard is. I realize that this will probably not be the norm for years to come, this seems to be more of a thing that he did to make a splash and to try to catch up.
ReplyDeleteAlso, for everyone interested, an invited walk-on reports at the begining of camp with all the scholarship playeres, whereas the "tryouts" occur closer to september, after fall camp has been underway for about 3-4 weeks if not longer.
ReplyDeleteThanks Eddie!
ReplyDeleteWhat is with the chatter on rivals about Lutz? Did some whacko predict him to switch over to bammer or something? Surely there's nothing legit to that....... Right?
ReplyDeleteDenny- I believe this group of coaches can recruit big time, and I really believe given time, they will pull in some big time players. As far as success this year, I believe it is measured by how we have been able to get into the picture of so many big time players in such a short time bolds well for the future. Tuberville was an area based recruiting strategy, whereas I believe that these coaches are going to go after the best players using any relationship means they are privy to.
ReplyDeleteDenny..good to see you back, we missed your wisdom. You have been in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteMiller, I've seen absolutely nothing to that on the scout boards. Also over at PMarsh's site the headline is Lutz w/ "Happy to be an Auburn Tiger" and his contact at UAT was Lance Thompson, this just seems like wishful thinking.
ReplyDeleteJet - thanks (or maybe not???), glad I'm not the only one who finds something like that funny.
ReplyDeleteEddie ... Hallelujah and amen.
ReplyDeleteThere's no doubt in my mind that we have to re-establish ourselves in the state, but we're in a Global Village ... so let's go global, perhaps even intergalactic.
But the Klingons would keep getting penalized for unnecessary roughness.
ReplyDeleteJames T. Kirk ***** QB. He's been referred to has the quintessential QB, a man among men and a hero for the ages.
ReplyDeleteEddie, is there a place to find out when the open try outs are for uninvited walk ons? you think it is on the AU website?
ReplyDeleteAll this Lutz mess on Rivals is a hoax my some poster. Don't buy into it.
ReplyDeleteAUNugget- All anyone has to do is go to the complex and let them know you want to walk on and they will direct you to whoever is in charge of it now. I don't know who would be in charge anymore, but that will get you sent in the right direction. You should also do it well before the fall if possible.
ReplyDeleteSeanZ ... what about this Spock guy ... he's just a 3 star, but I hear Vulcans and JUCO guys can only get 3 stars from Rivals and Scout.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. Thanks Eddie.
ReplyDeleteJet, I've heard even though he's only a 3 Star it's only, logical, that he be signed.
ReplyDeleteHooray 7 quarterbacks!!!
ReplyDeleteAs for how this staff has done recruiting wise, I think they have held their own. We lost a lot of talent, but they have also brought some talent in.
ReplyDeleteSo far, the strategy of this staff has been similar to Tuberville's in that we focus on a wider are, but that could change next season. If this staff continues to raid the Texas/Oklahoma area and continues to recruit the traditional states Auburn has pursued in the southeast, it could bode very well for Auburn.
gatiger,
ReplyDeleteI just read the link. Laughed so hard I peed my pants. Good thing I wear Depends at work so I never have to leave the HABOTN.
I hope there are some 6-5 300 pound students walking around with nothing to do on fall Saturdays. I want to personally ask Grif to request some O-linemen to go with our new o-line coach.
ReplyDeleteyeah, 7 QBs, 6 RBs, and one Mario Fannin who is/ can be both. sweet.
ReplyDeleteUndercover is apparently also listing Quan Fletcher (LB, Dr. Krop HS Miami) as an AU prospect. First I've heard of him, and he doesn't list AU as one of his schools on any of the major services. . .
ReplyDeleteI don't think we make much of a move this year (read: tomorrow on signing day). Honestly, in the year of a coaching change, if we are top 15 that is unbelievable. If we are top 15 after the kids arrive, that is even more impressive. Something tells me we will be top20-25 after admissions and then pick up several of these kids a year or two down the road after prep or juco.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one having "Refresh" issues here?
ReplyDeleteI don't think Cooper is being brought in with any aspirations for the QB spot. I see him more in the mold of Will Herring (high school QB, brought in and made into a hybrid S/LB). Cooper will probably be a LB (if his speed is close to what is reported - 4.5/4.6)
ReplyDeleteProbably the scariest thing about this recruiting season is the amount of talent we lost to Ole Miss. Ole Miss was very impressive this past season and should be just as good or better next season. The SEC West is going to be very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI'm walking on.
ReplyDeleteMon, I saw on the university's official website that tryouts start on Thurs. Do you have your bags packed? We could come out and cheer for you and make signs like American Idol.
ReplyDeleteDMiller,
ReplyDeleteI agree, The Will Herring project, everydown here near Daphne, said he is a great athlete, can play anywhere and any sport, very big but agile, so I am glad he wont go to waste.
What position Mon?
ReplyDeleteI have many funny walk on stories...many dont last the ones that do man o man, they are men.
ReplyDeleteJimmy Ranes son walked on, I know him and let me tell you he was terrible in high school. He did it for daddy.
Another big booster, from my hometown, Downs, his son walked on Watson Downs, same thing. Its a daddy make me proud moment.
I had a friend who walked on at Florida State. He quit right after tackling drills he was laid out by Derrick Brooks, my friend was like 5'11 165.
There are some for real walk ons, like the kid from Prattville, that should have played somewhere, but most are just living the dream to see if they can make it and see how much of a difference there is from local town football to the SEC. Im sure its a crazy experience. Guys you grown up watching and then getting laid out by them.
ReplyDeletedecloaking
ReplyDeleteI am about to decloak on a jimmy johns sandwich...
ReplyDeleteI spend a few weeks lurking in the sahdows and now the Trek references start!

ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet, Will.
ReplyDeleteWhat position? I'll have to think and think and think about that.
I have a friend who walked on at Florida. He made it, started, but was injured. Mostly he was hawt.
I'm on my way to buy the new MON auburn jersey as we speak!!!
ReplyDeleteCan Cooper Punt??
ReplyDeleteHey Scottie - I'll have to watch that when I get home, but thanks!
ReplyDeleteJay G - Someone else was supposed to be in that seat on the plane, but gave it to Buddy and rode with someone instead. Who was it?
ReplyDeleteAUant - You know my number, right?
ReplyDeleteInteresting that on al.com they have a ranking of recruiting classes from 2004 to 2008. Auburn ended up ranked 12th. Not bad.
ReplyDeleteFirst time poster, Hello everyone.

ReplyDeleteWelcome to the HABOTN, bow9den!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteBest Walk-on I ever saw was Alex Lincoln. The guy has the best attitude and I was thrilled that Tubs rewarded him with a scholarship and all the great things that happened for him at Auburn.
ReplyDeleteQuan Fletcher is an interesting recruit...the sites speak well of him, but he was between two of the top LB's in this years class...so he was either looked over, or looked better because of the talent around him...
ReplyDeleteThe only big schools after him are Purdue and Tenn
There seems to always be a few walkons that make it. Usually they are guys like Jeremy Cox that have shown the talent but got injured and their stock dropped.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the HABOTN Bow9den
ReplyDeleteKevin Greene is the best ever Auburn Walk-on....he did not even make the team his first tryout
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the wide wide world of HABOTN, bow9den.
ReplyDeleteEmmett, Kevin Greene is a great example. He had a successful pro career and also dabbled in raslin I believe.
ReplyDeleteI thought we were dead in the water with Greg King, but Jeff at AuburnSports.com has him at 50% for Auburn. Hmmm
ReplyDeleteAlso, Farms didn't want to talk to Jay G. and gave him the cursory "was good" = knew he was a goner.
Phred, was it Waylon Jennings?
ReplyDeleteRod Smith was a walk on, and we are lucky he did.
ReplyDeleteRichardson still weighing his options
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Bammer still has some worries
I don't blame Farms for heading to UNC. Chapel Hill is a beautiful place. It is a fairly big town with a small town atmosphere. I worked there for a while.
ReplyDeleteNone of that matters, Steve.
ReplyDeleteWell Z, how could he not rassle...he and Hulk Hogan and the same Skullet...it was a quick bond
ReplyDeleteI had heard the Richardson had some second thoughts. If he heads to Rocky Top, watch for Bambies jumping off bridges.
ReplyDeleteKevin Greene- I heard from the equipment manager at the time, that when he first walked on that he weighed like 150 lbs and then the second time he walked on, he came in at at like 230 lbs and all the weight gain was pure muscle. He was always rumored to be on roids, but back then, a lot of the team was rumored to be using roids.
ReplyDeleteThanks Everyone,I feel welcomed here. Also, no bammers in sight.
ReplyDeletePoor Oku sounds way overwhelmed. Maybe he doesn't have the nerves of steel and all that he needs to get it done with me and the boys on the Plains. Hmmmmm, I say again.
ReplyDeletedepressedAUfan wins the cookie.
ReplyDeletebut yeah 15yrs pro... 5 ProBowls... the sack record for an LB ...2008 Fall of Fame semifinalist...
ReplyDeleteand the biggest thing...
That hit he had on Brett Farve where Farve had to leave the game because he was coughing up blood
Emmett said...Can Cooper Punt??
ReplyDeleteCooper runs a 4.5, and has a big frame. Reminds me of Will Herring!
bow9den, FSJ is a Bambi who will be around, but he is pretty cool. As long as the dicussion doesn't get to the point of mentioning 12 all the time, I am good with it.
ReplyDeleteSorry, Bow9den, we do have a bamer and he even posts. There are others, but they lurk mostly.
ReplyDeleteBow9den - The Bammers stop by, but they never stay... something about using logic and fact confuses them
ReplyDeleteFaker lives here!
ReplyDeleteKevin Greene was a 130 lb punter. Then he discovered... um... muscle building milk shakes, and became a BEAST!!
ReplyDeleteI think they served those milk shakes at KAZ.
Well, Bambies do have their purpose. There have been a few that provided targets for the banhammer. Fortunately this place has remained informative and the discussions tend to be either fun or genuine without personal attacks.
ReplyDeleteI tend to think of Faker as someone we recruited from the dark side.
ReplyDeleteEmmett - I think many of them are also frightened away by the first few opening posts. Where we Hotties jump out there showin' off all our knowledge of countin' and stuff. That just intimidates them since numbers and Math in general are a problem for them.
ReplyDelete6 does not = 12.
Bow9den - I was joking about him punting...I think he will be a Safety or perhaps the TE/WR hybrid Malzahn used at Tulsa
ReplyDelete6 does not = 12.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
That should be on the next HABOTN t-shirt.
at 6-4 204 he would have only needed to gain 10 pounds and he would be big enough to play line for Coach Franklin
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone think we will offer Taikwon Paige ? Also, this HABOTN isn't full of bammers like AL.com.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteGaTiger - Nice
ReplyDeleteThe Math can be tricky, plus I think inmates are only allowed limited time online...so that leaves just enough time to pick out their next Bear Bryant Tattoo...
Faker is a closet Aub...
ReplyDeleteAL.Com can be a sore subject around here...there are some folks who down them big time....
ReplyDeleteI just hate anything to do with Finebaum....
I have gotten the feeling T.P. is a wait and see guy...he wants to come, but we may not have a offer if some of the big names say yes
I think Faker came out of the closet some time ago. So to speak...
ReplyDeleteMonica grew up as a bama fan.
ReplyDeletebut then she came to her senses, michael.
ReplyDeleteWith Farms and Gaines not coming, We should have one for him.
ReplyDeleteFineBums Twin???
ReplyDeleteMichael - But she was in Brewton...Small Towns are 75% Bamma
ReplyDeleteBow9den - Very True...I think he would be a great add...we can always use DB's
ReplyDeleteI think Monica is the sage on proper Facebook etiquette (among other things).
ReplyDeleteMy guess is she frowns on wall posts asking Tyrik Rollison whether he'll qualify. Undoubtedly bad form by a few young Tigers!!
Thank you, Hotties, for your help fighting this attempt at defamation.
ReplyDeleteA pox on your home, Michael.
You will pay.
Please tell me that isn't happening comm'r?!
ReplyDeleteI don't know your real nickname any more and I can't call you "flesh wounds", but I agree. Very poor taste, indeed.
ReplyDeleteDon't go to sleep tonight, michael!
ReplyDeleteMiller - There were people making cracks to Clint Moseley after Tyrik committed. Punk comes in all forms and school affiliations.
ReplyDeleteI was just reading more about Kevin Greene...the same year he did not make the team, he was starting his Army career....he went through boot camp and became a Paratrooper before he made the team the second time...that might explain some of his size
ReplyDeleteCommish - I say anyone doing something like that ought to be wearin' an erhinch jumpsuit for bein' guilty of cap'tal ignunce.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteMiller, to quote "War Eagle, Baby. Are you going to qualify?"
ReplyDeleteAnother: "Congrats. Please qualify. We need you!"
Etc., etc., ad imbecilia.
ohhhhhh it's Silly - I'm with ya now. You have to leave yourself at least a little recognizable! Although, I'm probably the only who didn't recognize you in which case you should just ignore me. :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, Monica, I was Commish of Silly Walks but thought something more violent was appropriate for ... [insert dramatic trumpet blasts here] ... NATIONAL SIGNING DAY.
ReplyDeleteYou know, just keeping it real. It's how I roll .... (having spent WAY too much time on FB pages of HS commits)
Monica, the name and Avitar will always be Monty Python related.
ReplyDeleteIt's how I bowl.
Commish - I vote for either "Commissioner of Pointy Sticks" or perhaps "...dead parrots" next.
ReplyDeleteJustWin getting down T.I. style!!
ReplyDeletegeez Monica, I was just sayin'. Nothing to be ashamed of, being a bama fan and all. Well, actually it is a lot to be ashamed of, but you bounced back, didn't you!
ReplyDeleteyeah, i don't do monty python so much
ReplyDeleteMichael, a pox on your GLASS house.
ReplyDeletegatiger, we could go ole SNL (Akroyd Belushi) and find a "10,000 nuns and orphans ... all DEAD" avitar. You know, to be all lolipops and rainbows....
ReplyDeleteNow that'd be a good avitar commish
ReplyDeleteDenny Crane
ReplyDeleteavatar, not avitar
ReplyDeleteI just thought I'd tell ya before Peter found out.
Mon casting 'poxes'. ausome.
ReplyDeleteGLASS HOUSES-great Billy Joel album. :)
10,000 nuns and orphans - and they were all eaten by rats...
ReplyDeleteGlass Houses while a good Billy Joel album, not his best one. That may be a tossup between The Stranger and 52nd Street.
Monica, T.I. style???
ReplyDeleteHere you go Commish...
ReplyDeleteHi...
ReplyDeleteI'm FSJ...
I'm a bammer...and I ain't scared of the Auburn fans on HABOTN..
Phred -
ReplyDeleteRichardson had developed a case of the flu during the tour and asked one of Holly's bandmates, Waylon Jennings, for his seat on the plane; Jennings agreed to give up the seat. When Holly learned that Jennings wasn't going to fly, he said, "Well, I hope your ol' bus freezes up." Jennings responded, "Well, I hope your ol' plane crashes." This exchange of words, though made in jest at the time, haunted Jennings for the rest of his life.
ehyoutiger,
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of a night at the Supper Club. My buddy gave me a ride to the Club, but picked up a girl. He told me that he hoped I would have fun riding the drunk bus home. I told him I hoped he got crabs.
It has haunted me my entire life.
Luv - TI sings Whatever You Like
ReplyDeleteYou can check him out on YouTube
Would we have had the Dukes of Hazzard without Waylon....maybe.
ReplyDeleteWould it have been the same....no way.
Aubie - You are very odd in a way that I like. I laugh at you and feel guilty for it. That's fun.
ReplyDeleteBut did he get crabs?
ReplyDeleteI call shenanigans on the frivolous use of the D-Bag word on the Roundtable.
ReplyDeleteWhat was Santa think, Doug?
details? i mean, since i'm not listening.
ReplyDeleteKarlos Dansby just wore Finebaum out on Jox!
ReplyDeleteOh, please give details Sensi...
ReplyDeleteHe needed to Sensi.
ReplyDeleteFinebaum went over the line yesterday about him...
PF goes over the line when he gets out of his car to walk into the studio. The jerk.
ReplyDeleteSensi, what'd he say? I reeeeeally like Karlos Dansby. I have a picture on my wall of him assaulting Tyler Watts and I named my dog Dansby.
ReplyDeleteFinebaum harped on Dansby saying his High School name instead of Auburn during Super Bowl introductions or something like that.
ReplyDeleteTotal non issue...Lots of NFL guys do it now. But Finebaum was acting like it was a big act of disrespect.
He said that F-Baum needs to apologize to him for questioning his integrity. He was just showing love to his hs. He says Chizik and Auburn who moved him from SS to LB was the best thing that happened to him.
ReplyDeleteF-Baum dropped 36-0 on him and he said that means nothing to me, I have four Iron Bowls under my belt.
He called Paul a Bama guy. Paul said he went to UT. KD said we whipped them too.
He is still waiting on the apology.
Tune into Finebaum for more.
The reason KD does that is quite honorable. I don't know where the article is, but he does it to send a positive message to the kids of Woodlawn HS. It's a reminder that folks from that area if they work hard enough, they can do anything they put their mind to.
ReplyDeleteIt was frivolous Gnome. I tried to pull it back into my mouth but it was too late. Should I issue public apology? How should it go?
ReplyDeleteFinebaum grew up a Bama fan. I heard him say that with my own ears a few years ago. It was the week of Christmas in either 2001 or 2002. Obviously a slow time on his show. He got to talking about the anniversary of Bear Bryant's last game (must have been 2002 then) and said he grew up a Bama fan but couldn't afford out of state tuition. That's why he went to UT.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteFSJ, thanks for confirming the worst kept secret in sports radio. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI missed that, but I have no doubt he would have said something like that. Truth is, PF knows that if he bangs on Auburn and cool whips Alabama, ratings soar.
Karlos D. is an intense, bright dude. If he wants to rip a man, said man better be ready for a brawl.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sensi about PF, which is why I will neve listen to another word out of PF's mouth, nor read anything he writes. The guy is just trying to make money by being a jerk. I bet he cries when he is by himself.
ReplyDeleteI think Finebaum is a very good writer, but his show is staged to some degree. By that I mean the regular callers (Bobby/Shane/IMan).... I work with a lady whose best girlfriend called in a few months ago. She caused a stir for jumping on Jay Barker about something. Finebaum's producer begged her for weeks to become a regular caller. They were going to give her a direct line so she wouldn't have to wait in line and so forth.
ReplyDeleteWho wants to lay odds that now that KD is off the air with him finebum turns it around and spins it to try and make KD out to be the bad guy?
ReplyDeleteFriday night I crashed your party,
ReplyDeleteSaturday, I said I was sorry.
Sunday came, you trashed me out again!
Monnie,
ReplyDeleteAre you laughing AT me or WITH me?
I agree with you completely. I am odd and I make myself laugh too.
Jet - when will you realize, Vienna waits for you?
ReplyDeleteMon,
ReplyDeleteThe FB status updates are crackin me up! I keep waiting on you to bust out with a lil Ice Ice Baby.
I was only havin' fun,
ReplyDeleteWasn't hurtin' anyone
And we all enjoyed the weekend for a change!
Word to yo mutha!
ReplyDeleteEveryone said they were crazy
ReplyDelete"Brenda you know that you're much too lazy and Eddie could never afford to live that kind of life."
Oh, but there we were wavin' Brenda and Eddie goodbye
GaTiger ... I love me some Vienna sausages. 'Scuze me, VY-eeners.
ReplyDeleteScenes From an Italian Restaurant.
ReplyDeleteBest Billy Joel song EVER.
HABOTN-ing too hard can give you a heart attack-ack-ack ... you oughta know by now.
ReplyDeleteWell we all have a face
ReplyDeleteThat we hide away forever
And we take them out and
Show ourselves
When everyone has gone
C'mon Oku, don't make me wait,
ReplyDeleteYou 4-star backs wait much too late.
Sooner or later, it comes down to fate.
We might as well be the one,
Oku, only the good die young.
The Karlos Dansby calling into finebaum thing is awesome. He's my second favorite player of all-time.
ReplyDeleteMy list is:
1. Takeo Spikes
2. Dansby
3. Carlos Rogers
Jet - well played.
ReplyDeleteOn the Billy Joel front, for all fathers of daughters, there is no better song than Lullabye. Go ahead and try to contradict me, you can't do it.
Scenes from an Italian Restaurant confuses me...
ReplyDeleteIt's like three songs in one...
Bottle of Red...Bottle of White..
Brenda & Eddie..
and finally back to the restaurant.
Billy is actually going to be in Hotlanta in March..
ReplyDeleteI've seen him many times.
good afternoon, habotnistas. welcome to the new posters. I think i'm in line to get a $10.00 refund from comcast for the super bowl porno faux pas the other day. not sure why they're doing that, but okay by me.
ReplyDeleteI've lost count. I think I've seen Billy 8 times. He'll be in the ATL together with Elton and I've seen that show twice.
ReplyDeleteI could not believe the Today show's report on that this a.m. They showed with the blurred over screen what went on the air. The first instance was just the credits of a movie ... the second was an act that the blurred screen didn't hide too well.
ReplyDeleteWhy? They almost should have shown it without cover ... there was little left to the imagination.
billy joel and elton john are soon to be in phoenix.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone here F'baum say there was a recruit that Auburn was targeting very heavily behind the scenes and was a big time prospect for Bama. They said if it happens it would shock the recruiting world.
ReplyDeletegatiger,
ReplyDeleteYep...this will be my fourth time to see him with Elton.
Georgia Dome in 94
Phillips in 2001 or 2002
Nashville in 2001 or 2002
I get the Nashville & Phillips Arena years mixed up.
That is a great show. You definately get your money's worth.
i always liked keith richard's quote about elton john: "anymore, he just sings songs about dead chicks."
ReplyDeleteAnd that is very funny considering it comes from Keith Richards who looks dead.
ReplyDeletelol.
FSJ I was in the house with you in the Dome and Arena. It was 2001, by the way. Had great seats for the Arena show. I'll likely be missing this one though.
ReplyDelete[Oscar Wilde reference]
ReplyDeleteYou know, I heard Keith Richards has a portrait of himself up in the attic, and it looks great. . .
[/Oscar Wilde reference]
Jay G ... not to be a stickler ... but I don't want you to short change yourself ... repeat the post number on the blog for this thread.
ReplyDeleteand keith richards snorted his dad's ashes...
ReplyDeleteDoWhat...
ReplyDeleteI'll give that some credence if it happens, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I think the bum is trying to set up a HaHa moment for tomorrow, just to have another reason to praise Saban and crack on AU.
Keith Richards has actually been dead for years. It's the Disney Animatronics that everyone has been seeing. Not surprisingly, his guitar playing has improved since his death.
ReplyDeleteDmiller ... me and you have tickets on the cynicism train. I am with you on that one.
ReplyDeleteEhyoutiger also wins a cookie.
ReplyDeleteJet - Marilyn says "hi".
ReplyDeleteJet,
ReplyDeleteI have I lifetime rail card. I take that train almost every day.
Finebaum was talking about Kendall Kelly IMO.
ReplyDeleteI said a few days ago that he is not a Bama lock.
Who is Daren Randle and when did we get his commitment?
ReplyDeleteReferencing PMarsh article.
It's not gonna happen, but wouldn't it be funny if at the news conference, Dre says "Excuse me while I whip this out," puts on an Auburn hat and signs the papers in front of everybody.
ReplyDeleteNice, Freep...
ReplyDeleteSo Bryce Brown is going to wait till after signing day as well, rivals is acting like we have a shot at him, are they on crack or accurate?
ReplyDeleteSorry that I haven't ben more active today. I'll be producing a ton of stuff tomorrow -- and I'm getting a lot of of that work finished today so I have more schedule latitude tomorrow.
ReplyDelete"Isn't someone gonna help that man?"
ReplyDeletePeace out for now Hotties. I'm an hour ahead of you and I've been in this building since 5:15a. My garage refrigerator is running low so I need to make a stop before I go home.
