Mon and hehateme (HABOTN Board of Medicine)- I'm conflicted; should I revert to TarHeelTiger, or continue as an unlicensed HABOTN team physician. As you may recall, I was provided a single day license from the BOM. I like TarHeelTiger moniker, what do y'all prefer?
Thanks, Luv. The only reason I specifically asked hehateme and Monica is that they were the only 2 who responded yesterday when I asked to be appointed HABOTN team physician (that request was prompted by a snide remark made as a result of a snide remark I had made). Therefore, I logically assumed they were the de facto Habotn Board of Medicine.
I don't remember who, if I did I'd give proper credit, but another Hottie provided this streaming link some time ago and it works better for me than the 740am link:
Hmmm, this team physician talk hints at HABOTN titles. Do we need like a keeper of the flame, chief pessimist, or team psychologist? We could throw in a facebook director and a director or sucking up to recruits.
I've never had the opportunity to listen to Jay G before, until today when gatiger provided a different link (thanks, gatiger!). Jay is very good, but who is the other guy?
Monica, it was on a different thread. I heard your sister's song during spin class yesterday. I will always think of you and your dirty sister when I hear that song now.
Now that NSD is over, I will be watching the smoke in West Vance. First, will the long rumored LOI actually happen? Secondly, did McElwain promise SaBear that he would stay til NSD before bolting for greener pastures?
A caller on the show said he thought you were into making "Wooden Teeth" for the neighbors.... or something like that.. I about fell out of my chair.... I don't know who it was....
jay g, next time mr.united calls, will you let him start, then say "I AIN'T JIM ROME" hit a buzzer and hang up on.
Not that he wasn't entertaining, I just think it'd be funny for you to react to someone like that, and he seems like as good of a candidate as any. Plus, you'd be able to appologize at the next PTA meeting.
I think if I were a recruit, I would have to make a spectacle of it. Only a hat is WAY too small. I'd either have to do full body paint and strip down to my colors and run streaking through the room. Or, buy a billboard and do one of the "move that bus" type reveals like on the home makeover shows.
So Mr. United was slamming on me and Jay G. and Josh were laughing along with him?
Mr. U obviously reads this board and for some reason he frequently calls up to attempt to insult me. Not really sure what that's all about. I didn't hear it, but Greg heard him call me fat one time and he's said other stuff.
I have zero interest in ever attending a Auburn game, if I had seats in a box, I'd swap with someone with some normal seats, preferably student section.
College football is all about being loud on defense and the energy of everyone around you. It's bad enough having to sit down for the whole game outside the student section.
Only time I care to be in a box is if its a game in which I have no interest in the outcome. If I received a box invite for a Orlando Magic game, I'd be all over the free food.
Mon, Mr. U is a sad, lonely soul desperately seeking attention. I'm sure his empty pot shots just eat at you inside. He's one of the worst callers to the show, and definitely has an overinflated view of his (lack of) contributions to the show.
Mon, Mr U came across sounding like a Southern Andrew Dice Clay...with ADD...on Speed. Half of his rants are unintelligible and ignorant... a stereotypical Bammer...
Just remember the secret weak spot of any Bammer is Math....
Monica, Jay said he wished he hadn't taken a dig at you or ripped you, don't remember the exact language. But I don't think they were laughing along with him.
Any comment on this response to Kiffen's allegations earlier today about Florida and Urban Meyer:
Statement from University of Florida Athletic Director Jeremy Foley: “There was no rule violation and we have confirmed this with Southeastern Conference. It is obvious that Coach Kiffin doesn’t know that there is not a rule precluding phone contact with a prospect during an official visit on another campus during a contact period. His allegations are inappropriate, out of line and, most importantly, totally false. It is completely unfair to Urban Meyer, our coaching staff, our football program and our institution. The appropriate action at this time in my opinion is for Coach Kiffin to make a public apology. His comments not only slandered our coach, but he violated SEC rules by publicly criticizing another coach and institution."
Wow, just looked up the story on Kiffin and he just comes off sounding pretty bad. If there was a violation, report him, don't do it in a press conference. I have not heard a single thing come out of his mouth that has made me wish he was at Auburn thats for sure.
His Thompson cracks at Alabama were pretty lame as well.
cry me an f'in river is all I have to say to Mr. Foley. National Champions don't worry about what others are saying. Whining about slights is unbecoming.
I finally was able to add 740AM to www.moodio.fm So you can now listen from your phone or PDA.... It also gets around alot of Firewalls if you are at work....
The National Geological Survey reports there was not an earthquake in East Montgomery last night as originally feared.
"We have come to believe that it caused by a man known only as 'Jet,' who apparently jumped off the Jeff Lebo bandwagon."
When contacted for comment, Jet said, "I've tried to talk the guy up. I can't help him anymore. I am waving the white flag and the pink slip. Like the old Lay's Potato Chip song, 'He tried but he couldn't do it.'"
Citizen Jet - Our 2nd home is a tool shed out back; no way we could afford a suite. Even if I could, I'm not stupid enough to pay that kind of money to drive 1000 miles to sit in a living room to watch the game. I sure wouldn't mind an Auburn condo, though.
Champions need to learn to handle themselves with class and not worry about the new coach on the block. Sure Kiffin was dumb for not knowing the rules, but he's a fiery young guy trying to stir stuff up. It worked.
...and I do have to say that ethics extend beyond NCAA rules, and Urban is lacking in the area. Calling a kid when he's on someone else's campus is within the rules, but its beyond what is right and just. These college coaches may seem nice and of good character, but when it comes to recruiting, they have very few lines. That's the truth, and Kiffin was right to call him out on it.
Will be interesting to see the fallout from the #1 player in GA - Greg Reid committed to FL, then decommitted, and Meyer blasted him for not staying with FL...... he chose FSU to smooth things over with Meyer.
Meyer may not have broken rules, but that is still low class. I would have expected better of him.
I didn't realize Kiffin was such a doofus. But what approach should he have taken to get it "out there." If the call was within the rules, no point in complaining to SEC office.
You know, the Original Big East Conference used to sit around the table and solved their differences until the other 5 conference schools wanted to go in the drug business.
Don Vito, a reasonable man, refused to share his political protection with the other schools because he couldn't go along with that. Numbers, booze, women were OK. Drugs? No.
So they tried to have the Don killed. Then Michael responded by killing Solozzo and that crooked NCAA investigator McCluskey. Michael had to live in exile in Division III Sicily.
Sonny, Michael's brother, was the interim don, and he was more over his head than Mike Shula. So Barzini had him gunned down on the turnpike, leaving Tom Hagen and an aging Don Vito in charge.
Finally, Michael came back to take over, but the bad guys killed his wife while in Sicily. So things were relatively quiet until Don Vito died. Then Michael, hired a great coaching staff, and settled all family accounts -- Cuneo, Strachi, Philip Tattalagia, Barzini, and Moe Greene on the same day. Five 5-stars, if you ask me. Then a one-star, Carlo, Michael's brother-in-law, got it for his part in Sonny's death.
All of this to say, it was better when the conference handled it problems behind closed doors. Blood is expensive.
“Just for your information, Utah had no five-stars (recruits), and they kicked the lining out of our tails,” in reference to Alabama’s loss to Utah in the Sugar Bowl.
- Lance Thompson at Tenn. Recruiting Celebration, Speaking about getting the right guys, not just the high star guys
What Kiffin said wasn't exactly public. It was dumb to assume that his statement wouldn't become public knowledge (Michael Phelps comes to mind), but he didn't make it public like you said.
Kiffen needs to learn to keep his yap shut... Especially when he doesn't know what he's talking about in the first place. Meyer may have pushed the ethical limits of the rule/non-rule, but he stayed (if ever so slightly) inside the lines. Kiffen has 0 idea what he has gotten in the middle of here in the SEC, and I suspect this won't be the last stupid, public, childish remark out of him. Somebody should put a muzzle on the lil ankle-biter.
As far as Foley putting the smack on him... Bravo. Set the record straight, ask for an apology, and leave it at that. No need in getting into a peeing match with two thimbles. For the record, I wish we had an AD as good as Foley.
I can't WAIT for Kiffin v Spurrier. That's going to be some entertaining stuff.
Why do I condone Spurrier sparring with Kiffin, when I just ripped Foley for it, you ask? Because Spurrier's funny and not an AD demanding a public apology for a private comment.
Ballin, What is said privately to a recruit and what is said openly to a crowd of people including media members are completely different. One is negative recruiting and would be/is almost impossible to prevent. The other is an open attempt at slander.
Out of that list, I'm not sure Richt will give him the time of day. Saban might not either, but if he does, it will be beyond ugly. Meyer will have his AD issue stuffy statements. Spurrier will make him look like a fool.
To my knowledge Kiffin hasn't call Chiz out in public.... yet, like he has with Spurrier, Saban, Meyer. I'm sure he'll get around to it though. I'm guessing Miles and Richt are next in line for one of Kiffin's whine-shots.
Spurrier will do everything he can to embarrass LK next year. Meyer will stay quiet until he tells Tebow to hang a hundred on him. Saban will treat UT like a scout team.
LK may get his feelings hurt so bad next year that he runs crying back to the PAC10.
I too think Chiz has a better chance to succeed than Kiffin. People within UT hate the guy already. He is arrogant. He is not able to give recruits' parents houses or use LA as a selling point to recruits. His resume is no even as good as Chiz's. We will see.
Snuggies = ripoff. I went to college and graduated. I have a fair share of rigid industry certifications. I know things. Ergo, I have concluded that if I (you, or anyone else) put my bathrobe on backwards and sit on the sofa I've effectively accomplished the purpose of a Snuggie and not spent any money.
It's saving like this which allowed me to purchase my HABOTN shirt and further stimulate the economy. I just didn't stimulate it foolishly with a Snuggie purchase.
I'm sorry for the long post, but there are some things that I just feel strongly about.
"And on this issue, there cana be no debate!" --Poppie
The only thing nsfw on the link is some mild cussing. To me, that means I watch it at work with my headphones on. But still, I know peops don't want to get in trouble.
congrats gatiger, nice work!
ReplyDeletelooking forward to JayG on the radio....
ReplyDeletebtw, as far as facebook apps go, fish wrangler > mafia wars.
ReplyDeleteAREA CODE 334?
2 hours of Jay. Should be interesting.
ReplyDeleteMon and hehateme (HABOTN Board of Medicine)-
ReplyDeleteI'm conflicted; should I revert to TarHeelTiger, or continue as an unlicensed HABOTN team physician. As you may recall, I was provided a single day license from the BOM. I like TarHeelTiger moniker, what do y'all prefer?
Go with Dr. HABOTN...the chicks will dig it.
ReplyDeletechicks dig me...
ReplyDelete(Stripes reference)
I think we can now all be assured T. Rollison will qualify, given his FaceBook status:
ReplyDelete"Tyrik is gettin' his stuff right."
Not that you asked me, but I like TarHeelTiger.
ReplyDeleteStick with Dr. HABOTN...... Man, I'm sure "Dr. HABOTN" would have changed your college years!!
ReplyDeletechicks diggin' Dr.Habotn?
ReplyDeletethat makes it a no-brainer, and a first. Still need that license re-instated from the HBOM.
ReplyDeleteI will be listening and commenting for this...should be a fun radio block.
ReplyDeleteI love you as either, but I do dig Doc Habotn. You will be Doc to me no matter what.
ReplyDeleteAnd so it is.
My online streaming keeps cutting out on me. This stinks.
ReplyDeleteMine is streaming well......
ReplyDeleteWe just got s Shout-Out by J.G.
LT
Is Mobilz busy trying to deliver another signee? He cannot be found today.......
ReplyDeleteMonica,
ReplyDeleteYour post of 12:06 instant received. The Queen has spoken.
I remain, your most obedient and humble servant,
Dr. Habotn
HABOTN Team Physician
Monia, Josh is begging you to start that website...he needs a measuring stick.
ReplyDeleteI can't stream the show here at my office. :-(
ReplyDeleteI like it when he begs.
ReplyDeleteThe Doc is back in the house! YAY!
ReplyDeleteI can't stream either. Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with the internet.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember who, if I did I'd give proper credit, but another Hottie provided this streaming link some time ago and it works better for me than the 740am link:
ReplyDeleteHit it
I'm archiving the radio appearance. Hit me with an email and I'll send it to you all later this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteflomax, dr. habotn? physician, heal thyself...
ReplyDeleteold school Auburn band, Month of Sundays, at B&A Warehouse in Bham on Friday night. 8- midnight.
ReplyDeleteBe there or be a cube.
FSJ,
ReplyDeleteCan't believe you just called in and said your name was Lee!
Monica, did you see my post from early this morning?
ReplyDeleteDr. HABTON, I was going to say something similar after Monica said you will henceforth be known as Doc.
Hmmm, this team physician talk hints at HABOTN titles. Do we need like a keeper of the flame, chief pessimist, or team psychologist? We could throw in a facebook director and a director or sucking up to recruits.
ReplyDeletedurn typos ...
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I'm comfortable with labels... or maybe I'm just afraid of the label I'd be given...
ReplyDeleteTECMO Bo! Nice name drop Jay!
ReplyDeleteJay G - I don't know how one gets a radio gig, but I think you need one. You really pulled Yogi through today.
ReplyDeleteI nominate Steve for HABOTN proctologist, since he's used to looking on the bright side of things.
ReplyDeletej-z for the win!
ReplyDeleteI've never had the opportunity to listen to Jay G before, until today when gatiger provided a different link (thanks, gatiger!). Jay is very good, but who is the other guy?
ReplyDeleteThat would be Josh Moon...the sportswriter who knows nothing about sports. But, he's a nice guy and HABOTN lurker.
ReplyDeleteLuv, that's Josh Moon (Bag) who also writes for the Advertiser. He normally hosts with Doug Amos.
ReplyDeleteLuv - A post from earlier? I don't think so. I got your email, but am waiting to craft a proper reply when I get home from the office.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I edited my post before posting then!
ReplyDeleteDid that answer your question? ;-)
ReplyDeleteMICHAEL!!
ReplyDeleteSelf shout out. I do that from time to time
Word Michael...word.
ReplyDeleteI'm confused, but I'm accustomed to that.
ReplyDeleteMonica, it was on a different thread. I heard your sister's song during spin class yesterday. I will always think of you and your dirty sister when I hear that song now.

ReplyDeleteWhat's up with the Wooden Teeth business????
LT
Now that NSD is over, I will be watching the smoke in West Vance. First, will the long rumored LOI actually happen?

LOL I love that, Luv!!
ReplyDeletewho is this caller? does he think he's on Jim Rome's show?
ReplyDeleteUh.....
ReplyDeleteMy 12:50 post was directed at Kristina.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, LT. I don't know what you mean.
ReplyDeleteDirty Little Girl?
ReplyDeleteSince Oku was so tired of the recruiting process, what is the over and under of calls he has received since dead time ended last night. I bet 40+.
ReplyDeleteDoc - "Dirty Diana"
ReplyDeleteA caller on the show said he thought you were into making "Wooden Teeth" for the neighbors.... or something like that.. I about fell out of my chair.... I don't know who it was....
ReplyDeleteLT
Mon, caller wants to know if you have a job.
ReplyDeleteNo worries, luv. You were very diplomatic in asking who he was. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI don't know. I can't hear the show and I don't even know what that means. Apparently I'm living rent free in someone's head. I'm flattered.
ReplyDeleteKristina, I almost wasn't!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteWhy is someone I don't know talking about me on a radio program I'm not hearing? That's odd.
ReplyDeleteYeah Monica, Mr. United...unless he has another handle on here.
ReplyDeleteI think my new avatar may look like SteveFC
ReplyDeleteWow he really has a thing for me. I hope he doesn't start stalking me. That's creepy.
ReplyDeletejay g, next time mr.united calls, will you let him start, then say "I AIN'T JIM ROME" hit a buzzer and hang up on.
ReplyDeleteNot that he wasn't entertaining, I just think it'd be funny for you to react to someone like that, and he seems like as good of a candidate as any. Plus, you'd be able to appologize at the next PTA meeting.
If anyone is going to be doing any stalking, it's you, right, Monica? ;-)
ReplyDeleteJGT made reference after the call to Mr. United being a Hottie. News to me.
ReplyDeleteESPN moves bama to top of the class...is there no bottom to this hell....
ReplyDeleteOk..been out for lunch...
ReplyDeleteDid I miss anything interesting on The Roundtable?
I'm listening now...Entertain me...
I was thinking the same thing, gatiger. I know I haven't been posting long, but I've never seen him.
ReplyDeleteBDS going to 100k+? Wow.
ReplyDeleteJay...to answer your question..
ReplyDeletePenn State, Michigan, & Tennesse are the only on campus stadiums over 100,000 that I can recall.
I also heard that to get a suite, you have to come up with an OBSCENE amount of money.
ReplyDeleteIf Mr. United of 740 fame is a Hottie, I'd be inclined to think he's posting (if at all) with another alias.
ReplyDeleteFSJ, The Horseshoe is over 100k
ReplyDeleteFound out Mon is in the Wooden Teeth business FSJ- but that's about it.....
ReplyDeleteLT
I didn't realize we had that many trailer park dewellers that followed foosball in our state.
ReplyDeleteLuv....you are correct...
ReplyDeleteIn 1998 the donation as $35,000 for one...
Now it is well into the hundreds of thousands from what I heard...
I thought it might have been Mobile, but he would never say anything negative about Monica.
ReplyDeleteThats right Peter..They just redid the Horseshoe...
ReplyDeleteListening now. Jay G is fantastic on the radio.
ReplyDeleteI know that other guy is your friend Monnie, but...
He reminds be of a golden retreiver puppy... Happy go lucky, all over the place, not exactly sure what's going on, chewing on the microphone.
FSJ, yes. I THINK it's like $500,000, but don't quote me on it!
ReplyDeleteJay G definitely has a good voice on radio.
ReplyDeleteJay does have a radio voice...
ReplyDeleteHe ought to be a DJ...He could do one of those "love lines" dedication hours...
I believe when we opened our suites ... it was $350,000 for a 10-year lease.
ReplyDeleteChump change for folks like Dr. HABOTN, GaTiger and Eduardo.
For poor public employees like me and DMiller ... out of reach.
Jet...the 35,000 I quoted in 1998 was per year....so that is in line with what you are saying..
ReplyDeleteMr. U can kiss my Scrawny HABOTN Butt...Fear the Wooden Teeth Wrath of Mon...
ReplyDeleteLoL Emmett....
ReplyDeleteSensi is on the Air as a caller!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the love, Jay G.
ReplyDeleteI can't afford one, personally... But, I know a guy that knows a guy.
ReplyDeleteI choose not to partake of the muted atmosphere.
Yes Jet, I'm looking at getting 2 Suites in JH this year. I'll invite you sometime and maybe let you serve as bartender or something.
ReplyDeleteFYI - The New Blackberry Viigo is out
ReplyDeleteMiller, that's a good way to put it. It is muted in there. I want the crowd and be around people who actually wanna watch the game.
ReplyDeletePfffftttt...
ReplyDeleteZookeeper...you and Monica just want to be in the Bama section.
I think if I were a recruit, I would have to make a spectacle of it. Only a hat is WAY too small. I'd either have to do full body paint and strip down to my colors and run streaking through the room. Or, buy a billboard and do one of the "move that bus" type reveals like on the home makeover shows.

My best friend's cousin has a suite, but she's never been invited. She wouldn't go anyway because of the same reason that Kristina and Miller stated.
ReplyDeleteDMiller, I'm with you ...
ReplyDeleteListen, we created this monster. We spend weeks fretting about their choices, stalk them on Facebook, talk about them on the radio.
If they wanna do a song and dance, we've been the ones humming the tune for weeks.
I think it's hyprocritical to criticize them. And as much as I like Josh's work, I found his column this morning to be an overdose of it.
I have zero interest in ever attending a Auburn game, if I had seats in a box, I'd swap with someone with some normal seats, preferably student section.
ReplyDeleteCollege football is all about being loud on defense and the energy of everyone around you. It's bad enough having to sit down for the whole game outside the student section.

(rolling up sleeves) Monica, do you want me to whip his a**?
ReplyDeleteIf you talk about him on here, you're giving him exactly what he wants.
ReplyDeleteBut for the record, his prepaid cell minutes will expire soon enough.
I totally agree with you, Wake, and we don't sit down in our section!
ReplyDeleteMon,
ReplyDeleteMr. U is a sad, lonely soul desperately seeking attention. I'm sure his empty pot shots just eat at you inside.
He's one of the worst callers to the show, and definitely has an overinflated view of his (lack of) contributions to the show.

Mon,
ReplyDeletePeople like that have very low self esteem. He must have been picked last in pickup games at school. Must have been taken after a girl named Monica.
Waker...
ReplyDeleteKiffen is an idiot. He is going after the top two coaches in the conference. I wouldn't be surprised to see Florida hang 60 on them this year.
Yeah, and he's going after Saban, too. :)

Okay, now it's Jet for the win!
ReplyDeleteClassic.
"I knew it was you Fredo!"
ReplyDelete“Just for your information, Utah had no five-stars (recruits), and they kicked the lining out of our tails,” in reference to Alabama’s loss to Utah in the Sugar Bowl.

FSJ,
ReplyDeleteWhat Kiffin said wasn't exactly public. It was dumb to assume that his statement wouldn't become public knowledge (Michael Phelps comes to mind), but he didn't make it public like you said.
On the Monica/Mr. U thing ...
ReplyDeleteI said, immediately after the rant, that I didn't agree with him ripping Monica.
I wasn't laughing. I was shaking my head.
If you wanna rip me for not cutting him off or whatever, recall that I don't work there. I'm a guest. That's not my call.
As for you all listening ... Thanks!
Kiffen needs to learn to keep his yap shut... Especially when he doesn't know what he's talking about in the first place.
ReplyDeleteMeyer may have pushed the ethical limits of the rule/non-rule, but he stayed (if ever so slightly) inside the lines.
Jay G,
ReplyDeleteany luck for a furlough week gig? Very entertaining show today.
JGT,
ReplyDeleteGood showing today... You seem very comfortable on-air.
Foley said "His comments not only slandered our coach, but he violated SEC rules by publicly criticizing another coach and institution"
ReplyDeleteIsn't this what every coach does on a recruiting visit?
Jay - You and Moon were both quiet after that comment....You could almost hear you two cringe over the air....
ReplyDeleteThat being said I repeat my previous comment....
Mr. U can kiss my Scrawny HABOTN Butt.
I can't WAIT for Kiffin v Spurrier. That's going to be some entertaining stuff.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I condone Spurrier sparring with Kiffin, when I just ripped Foley for it, you ask? Because Spurrier's funny and not an AD demanding a public apology for a private comment.
Ballin,
ReplyDeleteWhat is said privately to a recruit and what is said openly to a crowd of people including media members are completely different.
One is negative recruiting and would be/is almost impossible to prevent. The other is an open attempt at slander.
Kiffen is going to be destroyed, IMO.
ReplyDeleteMeyer, Saban, Richt, & Spurrier are gonna eat his lunch..
I agree - Kiffin has no clue about the SEC. Spurrier will have fun with him!
ReplyDeleteI agree Kiffin will be destroyed by Georgia and Florida... but South Carolina? Spurrier or not, that program is not exactly frightening.
ReplyDeleteNo furlough week work lined up just yet. I can play XBox for hire that week ... only $10/hour.
ReplyDeleteMiles might have some fun with Kiffin, too!
ReplyDeleteAnd CGC and crew are going to eat his lunch on the field!!!
Bingo D.Miller...
ReplyDeleteOut of that list, I'm not sure Richt will give him the time of day. Saban might not either, but if he does, it will be beyond ugly. Meyer will have his AD issue stuffy statements. Spurrier will make him look like a fool.
ReplyDeleteFSJ, what about Chizik?
ReplyDeleteA Tenn Press Event and Coach O was the the one made sensible comments....Wow
ReplyDeleteAlso Kiff gave Coach Gran credit for landing Nu’Keese...Good for Coach Gran
Luv..
ReplyDeleteChizik will stare him down.....
And I now think Chizik will last longer at AU than Kiffen will at UT...
To my knowledge Kiffin hasn't call Chiz out in public.... yet, like he has with Spurrier, Saban, Meyer. I'm sure he'll get around to it though. I'm guessing Miles and Richt are next in line for one of Kiffin's whine-shots.
ReplyDeleteHow tall is KiffIn? Will Chiz have to stand on a stool to stare him down?
ReplyDeleteReally? Chiz longer? I dunno. I also don't know about Kiffin completely failing. He's got a pretty darn good staff, imo.
ReplyDeleteKiffen reminds me of Terry Bowden...
ReplyDeleteWithout the 11-0 record.
Peter,
ReplyDeleteI think that staff is going to have some serious issues at some point..
Kiffen won't be a strong enough leader to manage that..
Spurrier will do everything he can to embarrass LK next year. Meyer will stay quiet until he tells Tebow to hang a hundred on him.
ReplyDeleteSaban will treat UT like a scout team.
LK may get his feelings hurt so bad next year that he runs crying back to the PAC10.
I think Layla should be the head coach.
ReplyDeleteHABOTN numbers from 2/4/09:
ReplyDelete* 23,184 pageviews (record)
* 9,817 visits (second-best mark)
Thanks to everyone!
A Miles/Kiff feud would be like watching Britney Spears and Paris Hilton in a spelling bee...A Total Train wreck that you just cannot look away from
ReplyDeleteKiffin comes across as a 12 year old who hasn't gotten his turn at tetherball yet.
ReplyDeleteDec. 17 is our high-water mark for visits ... we had 10,179 that day.
ReplyDeletecongrats Jay G...
ReplyDeleteI too think Chiz has a better chance to succeed than Kiffin. People within UT hate the guy already. He is arrogant. He is not able to give recruits' parents houses or use LA as a selling point to recruits. His resume is no even as good as Chiz's. We will see.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the big event on Dec17?
ReplyDeleteThat's definitely a group award.
ReplyDeleteWe'll hit 500,000 pageviews next year.
Awesome numbers JGT!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats. You're a legitimate cult leader, without the koolaid and without the messed up "religion"
12/17 ... live blogged Pat Dye on Finebaum and was linked by a variety of sources.
ReplyDeleteMiller I understand what "public" is but a lie is still a lie no matter how many people hear it.
ReplyDeleteDoc & JGT - okay, so no Kool-Aid or religion but can you at least promise a purple bathrobe or spaceship or something?
ReplyDeleteWhen are we catching a ride on the comet?
ReplyDeleteGood question. I'm not sure who should answer that definitively - JGT, or Dear Leader.
ReplyDeleteSnuggies for everyone!
ReplyDeletewww.getsnuggie.com
Do you realize how bad it is when Coach O says to himself
ReplyDelete“Yawr Yawr Yawr Yawr, Yawr Yawr Yawr Yawr Moron ” - “Yawr Yawr Yawr Yawr, Yawr Yawr Yawr Yawr Spoiled CryBaby WhiteBoy ”
Snuggie wearers = UAT fans
ReplyDeleteThis is a good parody of the Snuggie Blanket (nsfw):
ReplyDeleteWTF Blanket
Jet...
ReplyDeleteWe don't wear stinkin snuggies....
Michael,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning. I'll email myself the link to watch when I get home tonight (or tomorrow morning)
ReplyDeleteIt's saving like this which allowed me to purchase my HABOTN shirt and further stimulate the economy. I just didn't stimulate it foolishly with a Snuggie purchase.
I'm sorry for the long post, but there are some things that I just feel strongly about.
"And on this issue, there cana be no debate!" --Poppie
Emmett! Now that song is gonna be stuck in my head! Dang you hotties and your musical selections.
ReplyDeleteyawyawyawyawyaw...Brent Shaeffer
Every time I see a snuggie commercial I have to remind myself that I'm really not watching SNL.
ReplyDeleteKristina - Just for you
ReplyDeleteCoach O Song
Bama fans don't wear Snuggies...they wear Huggies.
ReplyDeleteThat's my thoughtful insight for the day.
Where's Jack Bauer? He needs to pay Ms. U a visit.
The Coach O Hummer commercial is gold too..
ReplyDeleteIt's linked on the right hand side of that youtube clip
The only thing nsfw on the link is some mild cussing. To me, that means I watch it at work with my headphones on. But still, I know peops don't want to get in trouble.
ReplyDeleteLol...emmett, I was already listening to it again!
ReplyDeleteI don't ever want to think of Ed Orgeron and a Hummer in the same sentence. Isn't that part of what got him fired?
ReplyDelete
