Auburn def. Florida, 61-58 (@ SEC Tournament)

Hey everyone. As you may or may not know, I am not in Tampa due to budgetary constraints.

I also am not available to live blog because I'm taking high-school scores at Advertiser headquarters. This one is up to you until further notice.

Auburn wins, 61-58.
Florida leads at halftime, 29-28.
Auburn ended the first half on an 11-4 run.

Andrew said...: I think we win the SEC tournament and cruise into the 8-9 game as a 9 seed. But even if we don't...I just don't see how we're not in. The numbers don't lie. I don't care if Temple wins the A-10 or if Baylor wins the damn big 12. We're still in.

Peter Frankenschmidt said...: Auburn still second in the nation in HR (35, one behind New Mexico State's 36). Through 16 games, and with 39 remaining, they're on pace to shatter the school record of 87 set by the 1998 team. We'll see if that continues through SEC play.; 11:58 PM

Looked at TV guide listing and ESPN TV listing this AM. both show ESPN2 carrying the SEC tournament game today (AU vs UT). Which is great. However, the TV guide shows the local affiliate (WSFA) carrying the game which means Raycom.

We don't get SEC sports up here, so we'll have it on ESPN2 today.

Last night's game wasn't on TV in ACC land. THTjr found the Raycom broadcast for free in HD over the 'net via yahoo sports. We watched it on his HD monitor.
