    Sweet.

Thanks for throwing in the extras!

    ReplyDelete
  2. I want the shirt. How about a last place prize? I am more likely to win that.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Anonymous10:23 AM

I would love to get that shirt, but I know it's not gonna happen.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Here's a link to launch video player for free tourney games online. Evidently you have to launch through Internet Explorer (which I despise). Microsoft = Dark Lord

    ReplyDelete
  5. it must be noted that the winner will receive a Large on an XL. that's the only two sizes we have to offer.

if you're the winner and those sizes don't work for you.....well, you'll have to hang it on your wall like a trophy. it's still going to be pretty flippin' sweet. :)

    Scottie said...flippin' sweet

Scottie, that's sounds like a line from Napolean Dynomite.

    ReplyDelete
  7. i think it is Luv. sadly, i have never seen the movie start to finish. only parts. but i'm pretty sure it's in there.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Anonymous10:32 AM

I didn't think you had seen it at all.

    ReplyDelete
  9. When I win, I will take a Large. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  10. It is pretty funny smoothie and "flippin" is used many a time. If i win I'll take the XL and try to grow into it

    ReplyDelete
  11. Oh man I hope I make it on time, I'm about to attempt to complete this bracket during school...intense

    ReplyDelete
  12. Anonymous10:38 AM

jhag, do you still have Pitt taking it all?

    ReplyDelete
  13. funny, but i was anticipating adding another HABOTN tee to my wardrobe. come on Memphis!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Thanks JGT for pimpin the challenge. And thanks to Scottie B for his support.
Virtual high 5's to you both.

    ReplyDelete
  15. thanks D.M.

good luck in class there Jhag. i'm sure you'll pull through just fine. you always do.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I'm torn between Syracuse and UNC... time to flip a coin.
    Aaannd... Syracuse it is!

    ReplyDelete
  17. i love a good high five. you have to slap it so hard your hand stings for a good 30 seconds.

Miller- since Mercer didn't make it, I am pulling for N. Iowa or Dayton to make the final four, preferrably both

    ReplyDelete
  18. If anyone ever wants a "regular" HABOTN T-shirt, I have a few extras.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Very cool of you Scottie. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I am a fan of the Diamond Dallas Page "Self High Five."

    ReplyDelete
  21. Thanks for reminding me about the bracket challenge. I almost forgot to fill mine out.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Anonymous10:45 AM

I've never participated in a bracket challenge. How is the winner determined? The one who has the most correct picks?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Scottie, out of AU I lived in:
    Athens, TN
    Alcoa, TN
Walland, TN (between Townsend & Maryville)

Very cool part of the world.

    ReplyDelete
  24. i thought it was whoever bought the most Yuengling Luv so i'm at a loss.

    ReplyDelete
  25. And I wish I could name my bracket something other than my handle. Something like, "I'm DUMB." Because that's how I feel when I finish.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Anonymous10:46 AM

aaawww, she said, I liked it your other avatar better. It always reminded me of a story from my past...my "Throw Mama From the Train" story.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think that is your scariest picture yet, shesaid.

    ReplyDelete
  28. What do i have to do to get you people to stop doing high fives?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Harrison,
I was disappointed that Mercer didn't make it to the NCAA's or the NIT. I refuse to wear my AU shirt during the NIT. I wore my Mercer shirt during the conference tourney and they got beat. I wore my Georgetown shirt last night and they lost to Baylor. I'm afraid to jinx AU.

    ReplyDelete
  30. i'm familiar with all ehyoutiger.

i live in northeast Knoxville (Halls).

it's not Auburn but it's pretty nice.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Dang....it's blocked at work. I guess someone else will be getting the shirt.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Michael, just don't let me catch you with any wire hangers!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Anonymous10:48 AM

Monica, do you prefer fist bumps?

    ReplyDelete
  34. fist bump from TN to WVA.

    :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. I just felt like a change in avatar for some reason. The recurring theme seems to be either scare expressions on powerful womens' faces or just scary a$$ women in general.

    ReplyDelete
  36. You current one is burning a hole through my soul with her eyes. But I have subjected all of you to Jan Terri, so it's all even steven.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Randomania:

    Shesaid ... NO WIRE BRACKETS!!!

Jhag ... There's a spot in the stadium mural for you. It's waiting. Just commit to Auburn and watch the history will unfold. Destiny can't be denied.

Lovin' the idea of the T-shirt I can't win. Harrison and I will be battling for the last place shirt.

Jay G ... any chance to gather by the Campfire tonight -- March Madness style?

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'm having some serious doubts about a few folks here today... JGT has some hatred for golf, now Mon has something agaisnt high 5's. What is this world coming to?

    ReplyDelete
  39. i want one of those sweet hoodies!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Yeah, I'm pretty sure if I met Joan Crawford in person I would have peed a little.

    ReplyDelete
  41. It is saying invalid password or ID over and over again for me :(

    ReplyDelete
  42. D. Miller, I'm a serial high-fiver. I do knucks too but the high-five is tops in my heart.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Do I have to sign up for yahoo?

    ReplyDelete
  44. yup. sign up Jhag. TIME IS TICKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. high fives are so much more meaningful and personal than a fist bump

    ReplyDelete
  46. Mon, I can't acces FB.... Could you please post the link to the brackets for jhag?
    Thanks hun.

    ReplyDelete
  47. fist bump back attcha, Smoothie

  49. I'm all about it. High 5s, fist bumps, chest bumps, chill bumps, hot funk, cool punk, even if it's old junk, it's still rock and roll to me.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I like a good fist bump when the time is right. But you can't beat a good hi-5 when time calls for it.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I am stupid. I am off on Thursdays, but a couple weeks ago i agreed to a switch with a lady i work with forgetting the tourney started today. She is probably at home drinking and grilling out. I am not happy

    ReplyDelete
  52. alright signed in!!! now were do i find the complete my bracket thingy?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Jet, you made me chuckle.

    sing it!

    ReplyDelete
  54. nevermind i got it!! my picks are in the process!! yes!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Kids ...

I've had four cups of coffee, got an empty house (except for ZillaThrilla -- Jet team dog), and a 52 inch HD in the cave.

One of my favorite days of the year.

If I get a little outta control, well, you've been forewarned.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Call me retarded but I put Nova in the final 4

    ReplyDelete
  57. Y'all are easy to rile up. It's one of the many reasons I love ya.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Jet- this is definitely my favorite sports time of year outside of big Auburn games. not even a close 2nd. Maybe Masters Sunday, but Hootie Johnson kind of ruined that by changing the course

    ReplyDelete
  59. As a completely off topic and random comment. (Or 2)

Pandora on my blackberry is the best thing to happen to it since the HABOTN on my blackberry.

I have found out that I like the Zac Brown Band. Why did I not figure this out sooner? 'Whatever It Is' is a great song!

    ReplyDelete
  60. I am not confident in my bracket to be honest, i tried to go out on a limb though.

    ReplyDelete
  61. We should have worked the NIT bracket contest.

    ReplyDelete
  62. D. Miller that is a great song

    ReplyDelete
  63. Harrison ...

Yeah, Hootie and the Blowhards did their best to mess it up.

But I love me some first weekend of the NCAA Tournament and the Masters.

I'll be extra snarky today ... just for you, oh, Secretary of Snark.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Facebook has cool brackets.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Roland,
I thought about that, but I couldn't find anywhere hosting a NIT bracket contest to do it.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Thanks Jet, it seems like I have to carry snarkism all by myself on this blog. It's nice to have some of the weight off my shoulders

    ReplyDelete
  67. I'm terrified of my selections

    ReplyDelete
  68. I will say that it's not going to happen, but if a 16 was going to upset a 1 ... I'd pick Chattanooga to beat UConn. And I have UConn going a loooong way in my bracket.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Butler/LSU at 12:20 huh? GEAX Tigers!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Jay G,I need to order a regular HABOTN t-shirt...if i Don't win this freebee.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Who wins? LSU or Butler?

I'm going with the Samuel L. Jackson rule. Trent Johnson looks like a bad man like SLJ ... I'm taking LSU to pistol whip Butler.

    ReplyDelete
  72. UTChatanooga is like 17-15 man, don't worry about that.

    ReplyDelete
  73. One of the very few upsets I picked was Miss St knocking off Washington.

Anybody got game times for the games today? Do I need to take my lunch now or wait a little while? I want to optmize my watching potential at lunch today.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I'll take LSU over the white boys...

    ReplyDelete
  75. 3 games starting in just a few minutes.

    1. lsu/butler
    2. tex am/byu
    3. memphis/csun

    ReplyDelete
  76. Jhag, when you come in 2nd place i have Large's and JG has the XL's.

    but good luck to ya!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Eastern times...

    Lsu/Butler 12:20
    Memphis/CS Northridge 12:25
    Texas A&M/BYU 12:30

    Northern Iowa/ Purdue 2:30
    UNC/Radford 2:50
    Maryland/CAL 2:55
    Uconn/ UTC 3:00

    Miss State/ Washington 5:00

    ReplyDelete
  78. I got yo dough, scottie!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Laissez bon derriere kick roulez

    ReplyDelete
  80. Upset alert ... CSNorthridge 2, Memphis 0

    ReplyDelete
  81. That sucks. I didn't finish mine before the game started and now I'm locked out.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Whew. They extended the deadline, I guess, because I got my last picks in at 11:19. Close.

    ReplyDelete
  83. NIT and ESPN first round ESPN had 10 of 16 games on TV NO 1st seed Auburn. Second round they will have 5 of 8 games on TV NO 1st seed Auburn. If Auburn gets to the final 4 will ESPN cancel the games so they won't have to show Auburn. Roller derby or Wrestling will still be available

    ReplyDelete
  84. Evidently Cal State is going to screw my bracket on the first game :)

    ReplyDelete
  85. Anonymous11:39 AM

Dangit. I picked Butler and so far, they aren't looking so hot...

    ReplyDelete
  86. I have Butler too, last place is mine! Maybe I should pick to lose then maybe I would win

    ReplyDelete
  87. Anonymous11:45 AM

    Come on Memphis!

    ReplyDelete
  88. Brackets are locked, and with a late morning surge, we got up to 74 entries...

However, 12 of those did not submit picks...

The field stands at 62 as the first games are in progress.

    Good luck folks!

    ReplyDelete
  89. i got bumped from the CBS video player do to inactivity.

sucks having to work. oh well.

what's with this March Madness On Demand?? All I'm getting is advertisements.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Anonymous12:05 PM

I had to switch it to audio.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Anonymous12:07 PM

Harrison, at least Butler isn't letting LSU run away with it. Maybe they'll turn things around in the second half... One can hope, right?

    ReplyDelete
  93. at least that is a one and done game. what's one point when you're going to finish at the bottom of the pile anyway?

    ReplyDelete
  94. Anonymous12:10 PM

Maybe you won't be at the bottom...that might be me!

    ReplyDelete
  95. i have an awesome dirty joke to follow that post. but i am going to hold it in.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Anonymous12:14 PM

I guess I should have formulated that one a little longer...

    ReplyDelete
  97. Oh wow Memphis was a bad pick to take far :(

    ReplyDelete
  98. Anonymous12:20 PM

I can't believe the team that I picked to take it all is only up by 3 at the half against a 15 seed!

    ReplyDelete
  99. UConn's Coach Calhoun will not be at their game... he's in the hospital. How much could this affect their play?

    ReplyDelete
  100. Back to high fives...

I like the awkward four or five man simultaneous high fives (typically employed by uncoordinated white folks) where one or two particpants either go too low or too high, as seen on the opening credits of Saved By the Bell.

    ReplyDelete
  101. jhag, you know where to find me.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Anonymous12:30 PM

    D. Miller, can you answer my 10:45 question?

    ReplyDelete
  103. jhag, I have Memphis going deep as well. I think we'll be okay. In the few games I've seen this yr, they have played way better in the 2nd half. Takes them a while to get going.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Anonymous12:32 PM

Will, I sure hope so or I'll be out from the get go!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Me and you both LUV

How bout the last place bracket gets an old, stained undershirt with "LOSER" written in sharpie on it.

    ReplyDelete
  106. luv,
    sorry I missed it earlier...

You get points for every correct pick.
1 point for a correct pick in the 1st round, 2 points for a correct pick in the 2nd round, 4 points in the next round, 8 points in the next round, .... and so on.
There are 32 points possible in each round.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Will....I might could provide that. HAHA!

I have Memphis in the final game as well... sheesh...

    ReplyDelete
  108. so far 3-0 on winning teams in the lead...sorry i'm getting way to into this

    ReplyDelete
  109. Anonymous12:39 PM

Butler is only down by one now!

    ReplyDelete
  110. that's the spirit, jhag! productivity be damned!

    ReplyDelete
  111. Anonymous12:44 PM

Thanks for explaining that me, D. Miller. I'm sure it was stated on the website, but I never bothered to read it (plus, I can't access it here at work).

    ReplyDelete
  112. Anonymous12:45 PM

Speaking of productivity...I guess I need to go do an x-ray!

    ReplyDelete
  113. Will, I see you failed to make picks in our other bracket.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Jay G, the paper gave me Northwestern's record. Since we are playing Tulsa.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I should have known not to pick Memphis they are 1-2 against top 25 teams and I still picked em

    ReplyDelete
  116. I am back at work and need constant score updates people. Thanks to whoever steps up.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Yeah Harrison. Sad thing is, by not picking any of the games, my score will only drop by about 13 or 14 pts.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Anonymous1:08 PM

Well, Will, Memphis has turned around yet...DANGIT.

    ReplyDelete
  119. back home and I'm digging in with laptop and high def CBS -- I'm watching all 3 games -- this is my favorite four days of the sporting year

    I meant HASN'T

    ReplyDelete
  125. Anonymous1:14 PM

what's the other, shesaid? 'Cause I have a few!

    ReplyDelete
  126. If memphis loses -- I'm not winning that shirt

    ReplyDelete
  127. I picked BYU over A&M just for the fact that I can link A&M to UAT in 1 degree of separation. I'm nothing without my principles.

    ReplyDelete
  128. I guess I should have formulated that one a little longer...

    SNORT!

    ReplyDelete
  129. Anonymous1:16 PM

Memphis is up by 3 with 6-something left.

    ReplyDelete
  130. LSU up 6 - 2 mins left

    ReplyDelete
  131. I hope memphis loses. I had them losing in sweet 16 anyways.
    COME ON BYU!!

    ReplyDelete
  132. Yay things are looking up

    ReplyDelete
  133. Yay things are looking up

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  135. my two words for Memphis:

    come back

    ReplyDelete
  136. Anonymous1:22 PM

Memphis up by 6 with less than 3 minutes

    ReplyDelete
  137. I like the awkward four or five man simultaneous high fives (typically employed by uncoordinated white folks) where one or two particpants either go too low or too high, as seen on the opening credits of Saved By the Bell.

    ReplyDelete
  141. I missed the Butler game. So it goes.

    ReplyDelete
  142. memphis survives - up 10 late

    ReplyDelete
  143. Will, I'm pretty sure if you wanna execute that awkward group high five we can make that happen anytime in September.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Texas A&M, LSU, and Memphis are the winners.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Didn't MEM beat Tulsa by a ton in their champ game?

    ReplyDelete
  146. I'm diggin' CBS College Sports. I get to see all the games!

    ReplyDelete
  147. Memphis disemboweled Tulsa ... twice.

    ReplyDelete
  148. So Tulsa can only use consonants now?

I (along with everyone else who picked the first 3 games correctly)have taken a commanding lead on the rest of the field!

    ReplyDelete
  149. Now I get the Kansas press conference. Awesome. Thrilling. Feels just like work.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I just commented to my wife this morning how bad Jim Calhoun looked at his press conference....he looked gaunt and sickly

    ReplyDelete
  151. Things not looking so good for me, I picked BYU and Butler.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Nevermind just checked, I picked A&M, I guess I picked BYU in my facebook bracket.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Now, follow me here ... how bad would the acting coach feel if UConn spits the bit against Chattanooga?

It would like be revenge against Calhoun for his "not a dime" statement.

    ReplyDelete
  154. How did I know that Alby can't create his own shot? Or that Roman can't defend for squat? Or that the Hendricksen graduated from the Lebo Institute of Free Throw Shooting?

    BYU, myeh.

    ReplyDelete
  155. I am tied for number one. This one is ovah. Self high five!

    ReplyDelete
  156. 3 down, 60 to go.

    ReplyDelete
  157. That's okay Wake, I picked Butler and BYU for ya. That Memphis game was about to put me well in last place, but they decided to show up in the last 5 minutes I guess. Not worried about BYU nor Butler since I don't think either will make it past Uconn or UNC. Atleast I hope they don't.

    ReplyDelete
  158. OK so now my bracket i sin serious trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Purdue looking good

    ReplyDelete
  160. I think the Texas am vs ucoon game is gonna be a lot closer then expected

  162. I am currently in 1,267,904th place on espn.com --- seriously

    ReplyDelete
  163. We've got some slow starters today!

Way better than NOT SUBMITTING A BRACKET. FSJ? Monica? Huh?

    ReplyDelete
  164. Anonymous2:11 PM

Maybe they all do this, but I really like how our bracket is constantly updated, including scores of games currently being played.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Anonymous2:12 PM

Jay G, yeah, I don't know what's up with Monica. She's had the link since D. Miller created our bracket...

    ReplyDelete
  166. I think LSU is gonna give UNC a run.

And Texas A&M is for sure gonna give UCONN a run.

    ReplyDelete
  167. North Carlina is playing Radford.

"He lives on Radford, near the In and Out Burger."

"Walter, the In and Out Burger is on Camrose."

"I said NEAR the In and Out Burger!"

    ReplyDelete
  168. Radford doesn't look like a 16 seed, so far.

    ReplyDelete
  169. Hal Baird witnessed Joe Ciampi's first hole-in-one this morning.

I'm here to break the hard news.

    ReplyDelete
  170. UNC will beat radford by 25 - 30

    ReplyDelete
  171. I saw over 30, Hornet

    ReplyDelete
  172. I got Maryland ova Cal...anyone else?

    ReplyDelete
  173. Wow i just realized i didnt fill in the Champion blank, I am retarded to the maximum extenet.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Harrison takes a commanding lead for the t-shirt

    ReplyDelete
  175. I was in the process of doing my bracket when the games started and it kicked me out!

    Can you be disemboweled twice?

    ReplyDelete
  176. I've got Maryland as well.

    I have Portland State, too.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Monica ...

Only if you spend $250 and buy another bowel.

    ReplyDelete
  178. I guess the tournament snuck up on you, MonD. It happens.

    ReplyDelete
  179. OK, I admit it.

That Buffalo Wild Wings commercial with the mongo flash on the camera makes me laugh ... even if the premise is preventing your team from winning.

    ReplyDelete
  180. I'll spend 25 to be able to pick a damn champion

    ReplyDelete
  181. That would be like the Super Bowl sneaking up on you

    ReplyDelete
  182. Words can't describe my anger

    ReplyDelete
  183. "Can you be disemboweled twice?"

Only if you were reemboweled in between, Monica.

    ReplyDelete
  184. has anyone ever seen a XXL HABOTN shirt or it just a myth?

    ReplyDelete
  185. Look Harrison! Jay G. has come to help you with the snarkiness on the blog! He's so sweet.

    ReplyDelete
  186. Both the one seeds are pulling away
