Hey everyone. We're making serious progress toward the season opener now. It's Aug. 23. This is the last "normal" Sunday because we'll be in game week mode this time next week. I'm happy about that. I'd love to begin discussing football performances. I haven't seen anything like that since the spring.The Advertiser tracks web hits very carefully. TODAY'S SCHEDULE
Auburn practices at 4:20 p.m., though it will not be open to the media. I'll be there afterward to snag post-practice reaction and see if coaches have made any adjustments to the depth chart. I'll try to build an offensive depth chart at some point soon, but the situation at WR has me completely confused. Perhaps I can gain some clarity today.

ReplyDeleteSome interesting stuff developing on Eric Smith. Gribbs from the O-A News says Smith will "turn himself in" on a misdemeanor assault charge Monday.

FSJ, the plagiarism issue came up before the season began, I think Burger was eventually cleared.
ReplyDeleteThe hunting trip occurred during the season. There was also a fight at a Krystals Burger was involved in, and I think one of the assistant coaches(Sullivan?), went and bailed him out of jail. I think that was also in the off-season, but my memory isn't the greatest, so I may have some of the info incorrect.

Pretty weak Kickoff Kountdown today, JayGT. (the substance, not the honoree). Sorry about that. I just couldn't find much info on him.
