  9. First kicker on a stick. Now we have quarterback on a string. I can't wait to see what happens next.

The Rollison express has the proper throwing motion also.

  12. I'm telling you, this Saban guy is okay. He just hates Bama fans.

  13. Great video Jay. Thanks for the hard work. What do make of the many players on the sideline?

  14. I was just looking over my 1958 Glomerata at the players on the 1957 team. I am amazed at how far we have come in just over 50 years as far as the size of players. For instance, Jackie Burkett, center, LB (they went both ways back then, no two platoon) 215 lbs. He was the sophomore of the year in the SEC and second team all SEC. Tim Baker OG, DG and team Captain, 195 lbs. Billy "Ace" Atkins, FB, LB, 195 lbs. I could go on but you get the picture.

The Alabama press won't be able to get their licks in on $aban until he substantially slips. That fan base gobbles up too much media to chance alienating.

  19. Shouldn't he be studying, Jet?

    ReplyDelete
  20. He is going over notes. Unfortunately, it's practice notes.

He's a college student, DMiller, and a freshman at that. They don't study.

  22. Good night all. It is getting late for this old man. They wake us up early here at the home you know.

  23. I wonder if our linemen will do a three point stance or two point. Is the two point just something you use when your linemen aren't big enough to block anyone anyway? Perhaps we should switch to one point, Crane style.

  28. i still love hearing 'NO DROPS'. i should've yelled that at the WR's at Fan Day on Sunday. that would've been hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yea, someone should have tossed a football to a receiver at fan day. Can you imagine a drop?

  30. You know, I can't remember a more anticipated football season other than possibly 2004. I always get excited about football, but usually I am not this impatient.

  31. I hear that PPL has changed to number 6. It makes good sense. 82 was too big of a number for him.

    ReplyDelete
  32. the past 3 years i have been much more excited b/c we have went down early for Fan Day and got to meet the guys. i haven't really seen guys up close like that since i was in school. i think that and being involved with the HABOTN, Rivals, etc. has helped b/c i feel like i know a lot more now than i used to.

#6 seems to fit him better. i cannot remember ever having more players with duplicate numbers on the team in my life. it just seems odd.

oh, and JGT, that pic IS badass.

  33. Wow!!! Bear Grills is surviving Alabama!!! Man, this is something else. I wonder if he will tangle with any wild redneck Bama fans in their natural habitat. Haven't seen any single wides yet.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Okay, Bear just captured and killed a wild pig in Alabama. I expect the good ole boys to show up at any moment.
