I suspect that writer is just jackin' information and not crediting the sources. I met a few reporters I don't know yesterday, but none of them introduced themselves as "Beaver."
k. could you remind these new coaches that they could wear short-sleeved shirts to practice? it is, what, 90 degrees down there? that's just nuts. i guess they like to work up a lather. it must help in the coaching. whatever works.
By the way, Beaver announced Bates has been cleared, and I have seen nothing from anyone confirming that either, so maybe unsubstantiated sources aren't what they are cracked up to be. But it is in a blog, so it must be right.

ReplyDeletesite is slow today?? eh?
ReplyDeleteWELL, I'M SLOW. sorry. :(
ReplyDeleteI'm eating supper!
ReplyDeleteFear Todzilla. He is the obvious choice as the starter. And just to shock some people, check out this quote from Auburn By Beaver.
ReplyDelete"Malzahn seems to want to make a decision soon. Right now, Todd could be leading believe it or not."
Todzilla is coming. Fear Todzilla!!!
I have said it all along... do not count him out... better to have someone who knows what to do and when to do it than someone who can run.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm sick of the Auburn By Beaver refers.

Good thing Tate claims to be in the best shape of his life. Gonna be a lot of carries for him this year.
ReplyDeleteSo the Chandler Brooks move to # 29, was that to try to make THT's list tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of this "Auburn by Beaver", but I must resist the urge to make off color comments.
ReplyDeleteWhat was that jingle at the beginning Jay? That was great.
ReplyDeleteSchool House Rock!!!
ReplyDeletenever heard of the 'beav' either. doubt i'm missing much.
ReplyDeleteso, has anyone seen Todd throw yet? JG?
I saw Todd throw a few short passes yesterday. Not much to see there. Can't judge his arm strength yet.

ReplyDeleteScottie,
ReplyDeleteThe worst I have seen is Kiffin. He looks like he borrowed a LS shirt from Shaq, it almost goes down to his knees.
Can we have "Three is a Magic Number" or "Conjunction Junction" as the intro music tomorrow?
ReplyDeletelong year
ReplyDeleteBeaver is actually my fav AU site. You should check it out.
ReplyDeletej-z...
ReplyDeleteDon't forget about Dollars & Sense and I'm Just a Bill.
Much like John Hughes (as you mentioned), this stuff is a soundtrack to my childhood.
I challenge anyone to explain what credibility Beaver has above any random Auburn fan posting thoughts and hearsay.
ReplyDeleteSo we unpacked our adjectives...
ReplyDeleteInterjections is also good - "Hooray, I'm for the other team!"
Jay, don't spoil my unsubstantiated sources.
ReplyDeleteHotties, I never thought I would see so many of you against Beaver.
By the way, Beaver announced Bates has been cleared, and I have seen nothing from anyone confirming that either, so maybe unsubstantiated sources aren't what they are cracked up to be. But it is in a blog, so it must be right.
ReplyDeleteI like "Electricity"
ReplyDeleteSup "HOTTIES" AUnMobilz is BAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK!
ReplyDelete"Can you smell what the Chiz is cooking?"
Beaver apparently gets pissed at his readers for talking about anything other than football. Sounds like he's a hottie hater, to me.
ReplyDeleteI like beaver in general, but maybe not that one. Smells too fishy in substance.
i think the only thing beaver has gotten upset with in the comments was a very heated and lengthy debate about God.
ReplyDeleteit put the al.com comments to shame
