  2. love the video, love the music...

Are OTs going to be able to get away with lining up 2 yds off the line of scrimmage? Ziemba looked like a wingback on one play.

  3. DL, I was on a mission. Before, it was always just fun. But someone determined that it was a competition today. I hate losing.

  4. Ziemba would be a tough-to-tackle wingback.

  5. el toro is a beast..

Mr 23 FAH looked real quick on his cut up field.

    Todd looked so so.

  6. of course, I've run out of fuel and will probably be in bed when the interviews come up, so I could still lose.

  9. Great work today, JayGT. I hope you get home safely and at a much more reasonable hour.

btw, did you have to watch the slips and falls video?

    ReplyDelete
  10. I watched the first 10 minutes and slipped out the back door.

  11. Great Video Jay. Thank you. I can't believe how exciting it was watching those few plays.

I liked how quickly they lined up on that punt.

Todd running the option was interesting.

Seeing Kodi catch that screen pass was also interesting.

In general, I was impressed with how smooth everything looked. I am not sure what it was, but the players looked confident in what they are doing.

  27. Mobilz coming in strong. me & mrs. scottie have a similar arrangement. i may have a chore or 2 to do this weekend then it's smooth sailing for a few months. :)

  28. dunno why but i like seeing Gabe line up around the fullback slot. he's a big boy so he looks like he would be a punishing blocker for Mr. FAH. once FAH makes that cut hes gone b/c no one could find him behind Gabe.

  29. Monica, Check your in box, new brick.

  30. From what I was able to decipher from the video, things looked quite a bit smoother for the offense. Todd made one crisp throw, the others not so much. Did I miss a pass deep down the field?

    ReplyDelete
  31. any passes not shown on the video that would give us a better indication of Todd's arm strength? we haven't really seen a good example yet.

  32. Gus Malzahn to QB Todd
    Gus Malzahn to QB Todd
Check your cup and then put your helmet on

    Gus Malzahn to QB Todd

    TEN...

We interrupt this song for breaking news...

T-MINUS TEN DAYS (and change) TIL KICKOFF!!!!

This is Gus Malzahn to QB Todd
    You've really made the grade
All the papers want to talk to you, today
Tell them wait until his next aerial display.

This is QB Todd to Gus Malzahn
    I'm really throwing well
And we're stomping alabama in Jordan-Hare
Now it's time to run it up, if we dare.

    For up there
    Hotties sitting ev-er-y-where
    Far above the field
    Auburn is the best and
    we really passed the test

    Jet, I'm not.

  33. Scottie-
I sure hope we haven't seen the best example yet.

    ReplyDelete
  34. agreed THT. i believe our offense is as good as his arm. if it falters, then....uh-oh.

    ReplyDelete
  35. THT Dude... you got too much time on your hands...

    ReplyDelete
  36. i was bored, and too tired to do anything useful. I'm waaayyyy behind on sleep the past 4 days. I suspect I'll be asleep before 11 EDT tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  37. great video! i believe in auburn football...and love it.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Apparently Rollison has been bitten by a pig. He has the flu.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I wouldn't worry too much about Todd's arm at this point. Give it 4 or 5 games. That is when I will be crossing my fingers.

    ReplyDelete
  40. 1 quick thought on the backup QB role...

I believe that Malzahn will stick with Todd for the entire season, barring any injury or a mid season puppet attack. I also think that he would love to redshirt Rollison.
    However...
IF, in the case of the unthinkable... IF Todd is injured who comes in will depend on 1 thing... the severity of Todd's injury. If Todd sprains an ankle in the second half of a game and can't finish that game, I think Caudle finishes it up. But, if Todd sustains an injury that would keep him out long term, I think then is when Rollison would be brought in.

    Thoughts?

    ReplyDelete
  41. and if Todd's arm flies further than the football on one of his warm up throws before the La Tech game?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Miller, I agree, although it would also depend upon when in the season we are. If Rollison doesn't play the first half of the season, I doubt they would burn his redshirt regardless of the situation.

    ReplyDelete
  43. yikes! not as scary as SARS, but plenty scary enough. Sure hope he gets well very soon, regardless of his football destiny.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Also, I suspect Kodi has earned a lot of respect due to the way he handled things. Don't forget the could bring him back as the QB.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yes, I believe Kodi would be "the man" if Todd's arm went lame in warm ups.

  46. Anonymous7:43 PM

Just read at another place that CGC has implemented an 11:00 pm curfew. Also read that senior OL Rudy Odom has left the team again. Odom was a 4 star recruit and has been 3rd on the depth chart at OG.
