First Post: Wednesday of Week Four

Hey everyone. Tuesday was fun. I expected The TV People to ask Chizik about Trooper Taylor, whom Paul Finebaum portrayed as racist, but that didn't happen. I didn't ask because I don't think the ESPN clip included any untoward language -- let alone racist rhetoric.

As noted yesterday, O-A News ace Andrew Gribble went on Paul Finebaum's show yesterday and wasn't asked about Trooper Taylor. I find that odd. I also consider that confirmation that Finebaum knows the story isn't legitimate. He doesn't want to get crossed up by someone on the ground in Auburn. See what I mean?

I hope you saw last night's video. It was a funny one.

Here's the Auburn situation at this moment:

  9. Oh I'm sorry. Yes, Eddie, that second post was in fact him calling you that.

  10. Sean- Lame is my game.

  11. Kristina,
Are you doing the whole tailgate thing this weekend? I am trying to decide what to do because it sure looks like rain again. This whatever bug I've had has sure taken it out of me. I ALWYAS am on for setting up our tailgate, but I am seriously thinking of weanieing out again this week.

    ReplyDelete
  12. There's always Knoxville next week!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Is weanieing a word?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Aero,
That picture still makes me laugh! Thank you!!

  15. I think we are doing low tech again, Cincy. The kids are tired of being orphans on the weekends so they are gonna be up there with us.

  17. Kristina- I may stop back by and say hello again if that is Ok, the wife and kids will be with us as well, so i'm sure we will be going everywhere that day to please them.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yep, that's OK, Eddie.

  19. I am ready to come home.

  20. We're ready for j00, Jet.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Whew!!!!

I have been out of pocket for a few days. Boats? Tub? We could have used both the past few days!

My son who lives in Atlanta had MAJOR though not catastrophic damage to his home. 12 inches of rain on Sunday and Monday, on top of the prior rain that had saturated the ground, did them in. Hubby and I went to lend four helping hands.

Lots of towels , fans, blowers, dehumidifiers, wet/dry vacuums, and hydraulic cement kept the situation from being a total catastrophy. By the way, they are NOT in a flood zone. It has been crazy. They are now 312 on a list just for an appointment for someone to come and assess the damage.

They lost the entire flooring in the finished basement though most valubles were salvaged. The man cave and his Auburn "stuff" was salvaged!

They were very fortunate but many in the area were not. Lives were lost and many families homes were destroyed. I pray for those families.

The point of this post: Give every member in your family and hug and tell them how much you love them because you never know what tomorrow may bring. Just keep the faith and thank God for His blessings through it all, the good and the bad.

And finally FYI, hydraulic cement is totally amazing! It will stop a projecting stream of water. I saw it with my own eyes!!!

Sorry for the exra long post....now, what is going on in the HABOTN world? Someboy spill!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thanks for reminding us of our priorities missinit.

    ReplyDelete
  23. JGT- Looks like you guys have a lot of fun with player interviews. Nice change of pace?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Evidently everything Michael has been saying has been a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I like asking funny questions, too. That's part of it.

I'm good at needling Hot Carter.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm not sure which substansive poster said it or when it was said, but there was a first post earlier that said "winning is fun."

    I must agree whoeheartedly.

    ReplyDelete
  27. or wholeheartedly. Both will work.

    ReplyDelete
  28. missinit,

So glad that your son didn't have more damage than he did. The power of water is amazing. Our prayers are with the people in Georgia who have to deal with this disaster.

We're glad you're back. In your absence, it has been determined that the Mr. Gulley is impressive and a country boy.

    Great article today, JGT!

    Stand and sing:

Thank God he's a country boy!

Missinit...We're a mere 15 miles from the flooding in Austell/Pwder Springs and not so bad We only got 8 in. in those 2 days. The four extra inches of rain was devastating.

For the non-Atl folks...Six Flags (near the river)@ I20 is under water. The flooding extends from Six flags for 5-10 miles to the NW up the Sweetwater Creek basin. Most every major road that Eddie could use to commute to work in Atl has been flooded.

    ReplyDelete
  30. It is strange how the rain seem to be in the northwest part of Atlanta. My brother-in law lives in Tucker and said except for some low places in some areas he saw no roads covered with water. His rain gage showed only 7.5 inches of rain for the three baad days.

    ReplyDelete
  31. You are right about that Hoopie, and if it's not flooded, the road has been washed away. No fun getting to Stone Mountain where I work from Villa Rica. I got home last night via almost Newnan and then up and I went to work this morning via Kennesaw.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Digger- We received 18 inches of rain in my little city of Villa Rica. Lots of problems around where I live and we don't even have a major creek or waterway that would only compound it.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I have got to make a Tiger Walk if for no other reason to see Trooper. I am kicking myself for not making it when I was there for MSU.

Winning is fun was me MRTD. :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Eddie that is a bunch of rain. I am originally from Atlanta and very familure with Villa Rica. This of course was many years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  35. It's crazy to think those roller coasters are that far under water...the pictures are mind blowing.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I must admit I was slightly concerned about the crowd dwindling after the rain Saturday.

I will never doubt again. Auburn folks are awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hoopie and digger,

Yes, it has indeed been crazy in Atlanta the past few days!

You, Hoopie, are actually closer to the most devasted parts than he is. It's crazy digger, my son actually lives in the Tucker area, not the area that got the 15-18 inches of rain, but he got a ton...he quit emptying the rain gauge after three times or four times. The neighborhood he lives in is very rolling and hilly, almost like the foothills in the mountains. His house is in the "valley" of the neighborhood, therefore he got the bulk of the runoff, therefore the damage.

It was really crazy with parts of the roads and interstates closed. The metro almost comes to a halt when those interstates aren't up and running.

Home Depot and Lowe's sold out of everything "water damage" related in no time.

It is a humbling experience. But we are thankful, it could have been SO much worse.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Six Flags was built in the Chattahoocee wet lands and had flooded many times before but no where near this bad.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Missinit, they can't live too far apart but the amount of rain is tremendous.

    ReplyDelete
  40. In going back...I have indeed learned that

    1. Gulley is a country boy...but hey I'm from the country and that's cool.

    2. There is a ghost holding a pillow or something, in the background behind him in the video? Is it Shug? Is he like the Bahr... and returned?

    3. Blanc has beautiful WHITE teeth. I wonder what kind of tootpaste he uses????

    4. The ending music to the videos is very nice....what is it????

Glad to be back in the groove of everyday life. I've missed y'all!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Sensi & Eddie,

    ReplyDelete
  45. thanks Choc. good to hear.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I assume they were talking about former Milwaukee Brewer Don Money.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Don Money? Well played, RK.

    ReplyDelete
  48. yeah, I can roll with that RK.

  49. Morning Hotties - I haven't kept up this week as much as I'd hoped but I see that Jet has done an admirable job as my designated spokesperson with his 9:33 post. I am way beyond ready to come home and put this particular slice of SoCal behind me for good. Today and tomorrow are my last days here onsite so I'm winding things down and may be able to come in here and bother you folks more. I know you're relieved.

Hopefully, the roads and bridges in the ATL area which I travel from the airport to my home will be opened again (if mine were closed at all) by the time I get off the red-eye Friday morning. That'd just be icing on the cake to have to find a new route home in morning rush hour.

    Keep Hate Alive!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I was just reminded that several people here acted like it was the end of the world when we added Ball State to the schedule last year.

My, how quickly things can change in the world of college football.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Ah, here it is

In other news, yesterday I found myself wondering about how many people in the ATL reasonably thought they'd need NFIP.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Last years Ball State vs last years Auburn team might not have been a sight to behold.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Anyone else notice that the College Football Hall of Fame is moving to Atlanta??? I believe it's going to be close to the Coke Museum and Aquarium. I'm happy about that.

    ReplyDelete
  54. they're dumping South Bend? that's AUsome! ha.

    ReplyDelete
  55. AU 2008 vs. Ball State 2009 ... 2-2 game heading into OT?

    ReplyDelete
  56. that sounds like an 8 or 9 OT game Jet. lots of Wes Byrum.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Now if only anyone cared about the college football hall of fame...

    ReplyDelete
  58. Let the record show in that schedule thread posted by weagle, I did not complain about Ball St. I did however complain about the Auburn alma mater.

If anyone looks hard, everyone sayas things that look dumb in hindsight. Weagle, I nominate you to go find some of the best.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Has anyone mentioned that Collegefootballnews.com has AU ranked #8?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Aside from the prospective coaches list in that same thread?

If I only had the time.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Choco,

Dr. Saturday has us as second in his Blogpoll ballot, but he ranks strictly on quality of wins.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Off Topic for this post:

Did anyone respond to what Trooper said last night abot the comment others are saying he made?

to paraphrase, he said that if that person heard that word, then that word was in their heart and they were looking for it.

    Nice reply, i thought

    ReplyDelete
  63. Scott Choc, Eddie had it posted monday i think. nice to get a little respect.

here's my fav part of JG's article today:

A slow start: Linebacker Adam Herring said Tuesday that the Tigers haven't spent much time reviewing footage of this weekend's opponent.

Of course, Ball State is 0-3.

"All I've heard is that David Letterman went there," Herring said. "That's all I know about Ball State right now."

so, they're working on Tennessee instead? hhhmmmm....

    ReplyDelete
  64. Wow, weagle! #2, huh? And I thought #8 was crazy. CFN also projects AU playing Okey St. in the Cotton Bowl.

    ReplyDelete
  65. looking at that old thread weagle... someone gave this list for the coaches we should go for:

    1) Butch Davis
    2) Bob Stoops
    3) Pete Carroll

I'll bet Chiz was #4 on the list.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Chiz was always #1 on my list despite the Turner Gill Avatar I sported. And let the record show how happy and pleasantly surprised I was by the hire.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Auburn won't be heading back to the Cotton Bowl anytime soon if I had to guess. I have a feeling the lack of tickets sold for that game along with most not wanting to be there is enough to detour the Cotton Bowl Officials from selecting us again. I'm all for the Capital One Bowl and Disney World. It will take 6 more wins to be able and punch that ticket.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I'd bet the week before the La-Mo game last year and the thread announcing the Chizik hire probably have some gems in them.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Eddie, I imagine the fans' attitude toward the Cotton Bowl would be a little different this time around.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Nobody wants to go to Dallas for a bowl game.

If it's not a BCS game, then Florida is the place to go.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I froze my butt off at the Cotton Bowl vs Nebraska. I would rather be in FL in general, but I'll still take that Cotton Bowl win over the previous year's Capital One Bowl loss. Is the Cotton Bowl in the new Cowboys stadium this season? That might sway my decision about going if this prediction actually came true.

    ReplyDelete
  72. weagle- I would be surprised if ticket sales were much better. It has been so darn cold the two times we have played there in recent memory and I personally have no desire to drive to Texas, but like RK said, Florida is always fun and I will always show up, especially if I have the chance to use my annual Disney Pass.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Scott C- It moves to the new stadium this season, or 2010 technically.

    ReplyDelete
  74. The only time the trip to Florida for a bowl game wasn't fun was the Outback Bowl vs Penn State.

    ReplyDelete
  75. WERK, I didn't particularly enjoy losing to Wisconsin in the Capital One Bowl (though I did enjoy the trip other than the game).

    ReplyDelete
  76. Kristeniuh. your services are proving to be quite valuable. I will talk with some stock holders about getting you a raise.

  79. I just like how Michael pays Kristina by breaking into her house and putting her pay in the coin jar. I wonder if Michael has a fettish for women's underwear??....I mean, he is a Jan Terri Fan.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Why would being a Jan Terri fan mean I have a fetish for underwear? According to Bear Bryant, Jan doesn't even wear underwear.

Kristeenuh, I talked to the stock holders, there was some give and some take, some I scratch your back and you scratch mine, but in the end, you now are making $.14/hr. I am not a very good negotiator. Plus, these tough economic times and all that, you know.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Mr. JG Tate - sorry for not noticing sooner, but thanks for messin' with my name.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Thanks, mchiela, you always come through for me.

And I am torn about the Tennessee game.....I was hoping this gig with Michael would help pay for it, but now I'm not sure.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Michael- This place would not be the same without you. YOu make me smile on a daily basis. Keep it up.

    ReplyDelete
  84. And thanks for that line ehyou

    ReplyDelete
  85. Eddie I can't believe you commute from Villa Rica to Stone Mountain. I thought I was crazy.

    any ideas for the backs?

    ReplyDelete
  88. Eddie...
You don't work or live in ATL, yet you have to go straight through all the craziness. You need to be "evaluated".

    ReplyDelete
  89. Tiger Rags has finally made a gameday shirt that I have to buy this year!

    ReplyDelete
  92. I always liked the South Park themed "Oh my, we've killed Tenny" for the UT game in 98.

Too bad we didn't beat them, but I loved the shirt.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Eddie - the pleasure is all mine. Nothing like coming to HABOTN here and there during the work day to talk about AU and post nonsense. This is life, baby!

Krustinajh - This gig would easily pay for your UT trip if you hitchhiked, ate rice cakes while there, and learned to budget your finances properly.

    ReplyDelete
  94. is that a joke michale?

    ReplyDelete
  95. ehyou & mytommy- I definetly thought about losing it yesterday with the commutes. This afternoon is going to much better as they have opened I-20, which should take my drive to the normal hour or so drive.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Eddie, I was working a trade show in ATL a couple of weeks ago. The booth next to me was staffed by someone from Andalusia. She had a good line after a couple of hours in Monday morning traffic, "If I had to do that every day, I'd have to have a helicopter or a bazooka." For the record, given her family connections, she could easily afford both.

    ReplyDelete
  97. thanks for the heads up RK. :)

    ReplyDelete
  98. Re: ATL driving - thankfully, I live and work a fair amount north of 285 and don't have to fool with ATL unless it's for something planned. Traffic absolutely sucks in ATL. I can tell you with a fair amount authority after all of my time in the area of Los Angeles lately, while there may be more roadways and cars in L.A. their traffic doesn't compare to ATL as far as gridlock is concerned. I just can't imagine another area having worse traffic on such a consistent basis than ATL does.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Good quote Scottie C, I just want a Tank.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Anonymous1:24 PM

Norm.....Houston has worse traffic congestion and it's all pickups.

    DC traffic = Atl traffic.

I hardly ever have to do the Atl rush anymore. During the 80's-90's there was a lot of traffic, but it was the NASCAR driving style that created the real tension and daily wrecks.

I've actually head-faked coming over into a lane to force someone to break and give me an opening.

Turn signals are a sign of weakness in the ATL.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Anthony Gulley is going to be a guy we see a lot for the next 3 years. I love it when one of these kids from a small school does good.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Someone "warned" me about LA traffic. Having done Atlanta traffic, and experienced LA traffic, I'd say the warning wasn't really needed.

Dallas traffic is a pain because of the lack of an onramp

    I hate Bama

    Beat BallState

  104. Prep for Ball State game...

Name a famous Ball State alumnus other than David Letterman:

John Schnatter, Founder and Chairman of Papa John's Pizza restaurants

Joyce DeWitt, actress in Three's Company

    Jim Davis, cartoonist of Garfield

Stedman Graham, Publicist, author; long-time male companion of Oprah Winfrey

Jason Whitlock, sports columnist for The Kansas City Star and AOL Sports, formerly with ESPN.com

    ReplyDelete
  105. Papa Johns sounds gooooood.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Mr. Gulley, you were only rated a 3 star recruit and not a top notch 3 star recruit coming out of highschool. Do you feel this hinders your play in any way?

    ReplyDelete
  107. "Male companion" just doesn't have a pleasant ring to it.

    ReplyDelete
  108. One might as well say jiggolo. Can we say that here?

    ReplyDelete
  109. Possibly life partner would sound better.

    ReplyDelete
  110. i can't get "I'M ON A BOAT" outta my head.

    thanks JG. all friggin' day.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Janet Wood was hot. I don't think that's a consensus, but I don't really care.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Bad news for Ball State:

Malzahn was asked last night if he'll keep running at the same speed even if reserves are in and the game is out of hand.

``Yeah -- I mean, that's what we do," Malzahn said. ``We want our guys to be able to do what we do on Saturdays."

    ReplyDelete
  117. I am having a tough time getting excited about Ball State. It is like playing Furman or except they were a bowl team. I am much more interested in see Ole Nutt match up against the Cocks on Thursday night.

I love watching games Houston Nutt coaches, as long as they get some good shots of him on the sideline doing his Jack Nicholson, the shining, impression.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Scott Choc,

You forgot Suzanne Tuberville in your Ball State alumni list.

    ReplyDelete
  119. well, i'm happy for you ehyou. i guess.

    ReplyDelete
  121. That Tulsa team absolutely undressed that Ball State defense last year. Thirty first downs? How about stopping them occasionally?

    ReplyDelete
  122. Anyone notice how Malzahn looks like he's about to drop a deuce when he's romaing the sidelines.

    ReplyDelete
  123. I'm flipping burgers, you at Kinko's straight flipping copies.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  125. It's all that coffee, Ebro.

    ReplyDelete
  126. College football live has been nothing but an SEC love-fest today, but with NO mention of Auburn. They have had on Coach Satan, Ole Miss and how there hardest away game is going to be tomorrow against South Carolina, mentioned how good Arkansas's QB is, how LSU is under the radar(how can you be under the radar at #7?, the continuing squabble between Meyer and Kiffin.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Papa Johns FTW.

A KFC just opened 300 yards from where I live. There's a Pizza Hut about a mile from here.

  129. The look on his face is something akin to the face my year old niece makes when she's doing her business.

    ReplyDelete
  130. It's always that way, we are so far under the radar and off the grid that I just assume Auburn is what is holding that college football radar up and that's why nobody ever sees us on it.

    ReplyDelete
  131. E. All of the above?

    ReplyDelete
  132. Does John Douglas get his first carry of the year?

    ReplyDelete
  133. I'll go C. Hawthorne. But I expect them all to have grabs this weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  134. How good is Tim Hawthorne? Trying to get a read from last year is unfair and impossible.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Jay G,

Your new avatar,...sweet! Back in the day it was Paul, Paul, Paul for all the teeny bopper girls....except for me.

    ReplyDelete
  138. I'd love to see PPL, Derek Winter (unless he's being RS'ed this year) and Carr get some playtime.

    ReplyDelete
  139. I just don't get the feeling PPL is going to see the field this year.

    ReplyDelete
  140. I'm pulling for Douglas to get a carry

  144. The pieces are there for Atlanta to return a strong team next year.

The starting rotation is really good. If they can add one more HR hitter in the middle of the line up. Maybe in LF to replace Anderson they should be able to compete with the Phillies.

  145. I can't believe the Phillies haven't folded. Two years in a row?

    ReplyDelete
  146. So, what are the views of the people who felt we had no playmakers and no talent on offense last year thinking now? I do believe we had weapons last season. They were just pointed in the wrong direction.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Think Chipper hangs it up at the same time as Bobby Cox?

WERK, I thought about putting Suzanne Tuberville on there, but I thought someone had posted that previously. Honestly, she's probably almost as well known as some of Ball State's biggest sports figures. I'd say their most successful pro sports alum would be Merv Rettenmund, former MLB player. Probably their only current pro athlete worth mentioning is Bonzi Wells.

  148. Last year Auburn was too busy shooting themselves in the foot, thus must have been pointed down.
Woodbery has a good article on Auburn every day.

  149. PUPPET HOUR!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  150. Last year we had Weapons of Mass Confusion that were being handled with BBQ tongs.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Do old puppets sit on the porch and whettle

    ReplyDelete
  152. There should be an i somewhere and e should leave

    ReplyDelete
  153. Old puppets never die, they fade away...

    ReplyDelete
  154. It is becoming increasingly clear what the issues were last season. Clearly it wasn't an issue with talent. It also apparently wasn't Tony Franklin. He is being very successful at MTSU. I wouldn't blame the BBQ boys either. They won a lot of games at Auburn.

The issue was very simple. When you ask Jimmy Buffett to sing opera, it might not be a good fit.

Our skill guys aren't great, but they're good. This offense gets them open and they are executing....which is great.

Great skill players make openings and plays when there is nothing to work with.

Now...we should be attracting even better talent soon.

    ReplyDelete
  156. I would argue the issue was also talent. Todd was not this Todd. I am of the belief we don't have a lot behind Todd this season. But clearly Malzahn is awesome.

    Also, Puppets are perverts.

    ReplyDelete
  157. also puppets don't age. You people need to read your puppet manuals again

    ReplyDelete
  158. Read the Puppet manuals, memorize them, and then burn them. It is a strategic advantage for them not to know what we know about them to know what said me rat a tat tat.

    ReplyDelete
  159. That section had been ripped from my puppet manual before I ever got my hands on it.

    ReplyDelete
  160. The offense wasn't the issue. Franklin has knocked off Memphis and Maryland with that same offense at MTSU. I do agree we didn't have an option at QB. Todd looked good or at least adequate in the first 3 or 4 games, but it was clear his arm wouldn't last and he wasn't a threat to throw a deep ball.

    ReplyDelete
  161. One of the puppet manuals is a cook book. If the manual makers were still alive, I would ask them why it is included in the set. Great recipes, though.

    ReplyDelete
  162. isn't most of the recipes how to cook human flesh?

    ReplyDelete
  163. Yeah, but the foreword tells you to substitute chicken when human flesh is not available. It is a flexible cook book.

    ReplyDelete
  164. There is also a good muffin recipe in the book.

    ReplyDelete
  165. even an evil, murderous, mind controlling puppet loves a good muffin

    ReplyDelete
  166. I feel like I am in the twilight zone. Are there puppets in the twilight zone?

    ReplyDelete
  167. Yeah. It is theorized that their love of muffins is why they often target humans with "muffin tops". But there are a lot of theories out there. You never really know.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Yes, and they will cut you for a muffin, Cincy

    ReplyDelete
  169. i believe that michael. that is why i always wear loose fitting sweatsuits.

    ReplyDelete
  170. I make awesome muffins

    ReplyDelete
  171. But, I am also guilty of having a muffin top, getting to be a smaller muffin top, but there none the less

    ReplyDelete
  172. cincy - can you make poison muffins? Because I have a really complicated plan that might let us kill puppets with your muffins if they have poison in them.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Kristeenuh - you should know that you are off duty as my assistant during Puppet Hour. Not sure if you read that in your contract.

    ReplyDelete
  174. So puppet hour is real then, right?!

    ReplyDelete
  175. Steve; MTSU vs Auburn ... who wins?

    ReplyDelete
  176. I now know what a muffin top is. That should come in handy someday.

    ReplyDelete
  177. MTSU isn't Auburn. MTSU doesn't have the talent of Auburn. But wins over Memphis and Maryland for MTSU are like us beating LSU and Florida.

    ReplyDelete
  178. Steve I'm not sure I would put Maryland (who won in OT over James Madison, and lost to Cal by 39) on the same vein as us beating Florida. I think we can beat LSU anyway as it stands right now.

    ReplyDelete
  179. michael,
I'll have to check my recipe. My muffins are so good you would say "these muffins are to die for" does that count?

    ReplyDelete
  180. ahhhhhhh - muffin top

    ReplyDelete
  181. Perhaps if your muffins were "killer"

    ReplyDelete
  182. I don't know. They are just idiomatically to die for? I will have to check my puppet manuals to see if puppets find idioms fatal.

    ReplyDelete
  183. MTSU isn't exactly a top college program. Memphis is their LSU.

    ReplyDelete
  184. MTSU = Muffin Top State University

    ReplyDelete
  185. Way to kind of bring everything into focus, Scott C. I use to work in Murfreesboro, TN; which is where MTSU is located.

    ReplyDelete
  186. I think chocolate is poisonous to puppets, so maybe we should add some of Scott's chocolate to the muffins.

    ReplyDelete
  187. cept that would be such a waste of good chocolate

    ReplyDelete
  188. Used to live/work somewhat near Murfreesboro myself, Steve.

Good idea, Cincy. We'll use the same chocolate I sell to the Bammers.
