Auburn officially responded today to the Advertiser's request for documents related to coaches and their compensation. Football coaches. So let's get to it.
You already know a lot of this stuff. I'm going to list it anyway.
GENE CHIZIK, head coach
- Five-year deal. It ends Dec. 31, 2013.
- Base salary is $500,000 per year. It's payable in equal installments doled out each month. He also is entitled to an additional $1.4 million per year via other deals discussed below. His total compensation is $1.9 million per year.
- His buyout is $500,000 for every year remaining on the contract. That's a two-way deal. Auburn owes him if Auburn terminates the deal. He owes Auburn if he terminates the deal.
- Auburn paid Iowa State $750,000 to buy Chizik out of his previous deal. That debt will be "forgiven" at a rate of $150,000 per year. If he leaves, he owes the remaining sum. Half is due within 30 days. The rest is due within a year. If Auburn dumps Chizik without cause, the remaining debt will be forgiven.
- Let's look at the incentives:
- ACADEMIC INCENTIVES
- If the team's annual APR is above .930, Chizik receives $25,000.
- If the team's annual APR is above .950, Chizik receives $50,000 plus the $25,000. So it's $75,000.
- If the team's annual APR is 1.000, Chizik receives $75,000 plus the other bonuses. So it's $150,000.
- COMPETITIVE SUCCESS
- If Auburn wins 10 games, Chizik receives $75,000.
- If Auburn wins 11 games, Chizik receives $100,000.
- If Auburn wins 12 games, Chizik receives $125,000.
- If Auburn wins 13 games, Chizik receives $150,000.
- If Auburn wins 14 games, Chizik receives $200,000.
(Unlike the academic bonuses, these do not combine.) - If Auburn loses in the SEC Championship game, Chizik receives $100,000.
- If Auburn wins in the SEC Championship game, Chizik receives $200,000.
- If Auburn receives an at-large bid to a BCS game, Chizik receives $50,000.
- If Auburn plays in a non-BCS bowl, Chizik receives $50,000.
- If Auburn finishes in the top five of the Associated Press or USA Today/ESPN polls, Chizik receives $100,000.
- If Chizik is named Southeastern Conference coach of the year (by AP or the coaches), Chizik receives $100,000. (With a $100,000 maximum.)
- If Chizik is named national coach of the year (by AP, AFCA, Walter Camp or Home Depot) or Chizik wins the Bryant Award, Chizik receives $100,000. (With a $100,000 maximum.)
- If Auburn wins a national championship, Chizik receives $500,000.
- Payments are due by Jan. 15 of the next calendar year.
- Auburn also may create and disburse other "discretionary bonuses" if university officials consider that appropriate.
- If the team's annual APR is above .930, Chizik receives $25,000.
- PERSONAL ENDORSEMENT RIGHTS: In exchange for $700,000 per year, Chizik reliquishes all endorsement rights to the university. That includes shoe and apparel deals. That includes book deals, magazines, videos and websites. The university has the option of
sellingassigning these rights to a company. - APPEARANCES: In exchange for another $700,000 per year, Chizik agrees to appear in 12 post-game shows (ie Auburn Football Review), at least 12 radio shows (ie Tiger Talk), 14 "mid-week call-in shows," 60-second halftime interviews, 14 taped interview segments to to be aired during the weekly television show, a one-hour postgame television interview after every game, a 15-minute radio interview before every game, a 15-minute postgame radio interview after every game and lots of appearances at "Program Scholarship Functions."
- AUTOMOBILE: Auburn is obligated to provide Chizik with two cars, though they may be "dealer cars," and to assume all costs associated with gas, service, maintenance and insurance.
- COACHING STAFF: Auburn is obligated to let Chizik have "primary responsibility to select, employ and terminate his staff." Candidates must first be vetted via the SEC and NCAA. Chizik is prohibited from supplementing, "directly or indirectly," the compensation awarded to any assistant coach or university employee.
- PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYMENT: Chizik is obligated to notify the athletic director if he or his representatives discuss "directly or indirectly his prospective employment with any other institution of higher learning or professional athletic team."
- PERSONAL CONDUCT CLAUSE: Auburn reserves the right to terminate Chizik (and the contract) if he engages in behavior "that is unreasonably contrary to the public image and conduct Auburn expects from its Head Coach."
OTHER CONTRACTS
- Ted Rood, defensive coordinator: 3-year deal worth $370k/year.
- Gus Malzahn, offensive coordinator: 3-year deal worth $350k/year.
- Trooper Taylor, assistant coach: 3-year deal worth $320k/year.

Woo!Hoo!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this, JGT.
ReplyDeleteWhat film did you see?
I applaud the bonuses attached to the APR.
ReplyDeletenice job Missinit!
ReplyDeletenice work Missinit!!!
ReplyDeleteAUsome work on the Google map, THT. Your awesomeness is super duper.
ReplyDeleteIs that map an open invitation to drop by?
ReplyDeletefrom prior thread...
ReplyDeletesee if this map is helpful or not.
This one is much more easily edited, but it doesn't show the same campus detail as the one I lifted from AU's web site.
I'm just in the mood to relive this...
ReplyDeletePump Fake Awesomeness
Thanks, Monica.
ReplyDeleteThat was one for the ages right there.
well, I just hope he collects every incentive every year!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of rides do the Chiziks roll in I wonder?
ReplyDeleteCincy is putting a stomping on Rutgers.
ReplyDeleteThat is the kind of contract I think any coach should have.
ReplyDeleteI do think the part where he cannot compensate other employees is kind of strange, but I assume it is to avoid a perceived conflict of interest.
I have also seen where the coordinators have 3 year contracts, while the assistants have 2 year contracts. That is unusual. Usually coordinators get 2 years and assistants get 1. I like it.
She has your basic white SUV. Tahoe, maybe? Nothing over the top if that's what your asking, Sensi.
ReplyDeletebtw, if you perceive any use for the map links on this or the prior thread, I suggest you bookmark them. There's an excellent chance I'll lose track of them.
ReplyDeleteI saw Inglorious Basterd.
ReplyDeleteI am surprised at how badly Cincinnati is beating Rutgers. Guess Rutgers isn't chopping wood this year.
ReplyDeleteSensi,
Yes, the map is an open invitation to stop by anytime. Although my kids are talking about getting pizza for our tailgate this week and just having chips and homemade cookies to go with it. They think planning 8 tailgates is too hard on me and they are trying to make it easier this week. I'm not sure that sounds like much of a tailgate meal, but I'm going with the flow.
I have the other deals, too, but but now I have to drive to Auburn.
ReplyDeleteSo I'll talk with you all from there in about an hour.
Piece.
safe travels, Writer Tate!
ReplyDeleteI am seeing that Trooper Taylor also signed a 3 year deal. It is great to see these coaches will be around for a while.
ReplyDeleteThanks, THT, Cincy, and Kristina.
ReplyDeleteI may stop in and say "Hey" Saturday.
Was it worth the matinee, JGT?
THT I saved it to My Google maps forever and always.
ReplyDeleteYEA!!!! My Rx sunglasses, too much in love with Auburn to come home with me this weekend, have decided to come home this week. I'm so happy. I was feeling so stupid for leaving them behind. I may still be stupid, but I'm not feeling it!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat movie did you see? Please tell me it was "Inglorious Basterds."
ReplyDeleteRutgers: the team whose student body booed and cursed the Midshipmen of the USNA.
ReplyDeleteAnd the only time I would ever pull for Alabama is if they're playing Rutgers.
I read an Acid Reign blog a little while ago and he brings up a good point. There was only really one dropped pass in the LaTech game. It was Blake dropping one near the goal line. Fannin dropped one, but he got wacked. I can't remember so few dropped passes in forever. The 2003 season theme was dropped passes. This is going to get very interesting if Blake and Benton get better at route running.
ReplyDeleteChizik is represented by Russ Campbell of B'ham.
ReplyDeleteNo More Sexton! WDE.
Rutgers, repeat after them: Who's your daddy? Who's your daddy?
ReplyDeleteThey are getting totally destroyed.
And I kinda sifted thru the actual contract.
ReplyDeleteI like it.. specially the staggering incentives are really good.
So, will the Miami / FSU game be a snore fest tonight?
ReplyDeleteJay, one of your articles mentioned that FAH is the fastest offensive player. Is he not the fast player on the team?
ReplyDeleteTHT how are they making their way home? Where did they try to hide from you?
ReplyDeleteSteveFC. We have faster kids.
ReplyDeleteOne name is on top of this list: All USA boys high school track team
There are more track stars but I need to get going.
LSU gave up 478 yards to Washington. While they won, it wasn't nearly as convincing as I had anticipated. Maybe Chavis won't bring LSU's defense along as quickly as I anticipated.
ReplyDeleteMrsTHT and I looked at a condo which, of course, we can't afford and have no intent of buying. We were just fantasizing. I had swapped out my glasses when we went in so I could see, and I kept the case in my hand the whole time until we were about to leave. The agent asked me to sign their guest book and I did, and like a 'tard, left my glasses case on the dining room table. They will be shipped to me tomorrow by one of our Auburn friends.
ReplyDeleteThanks Aeronaut. I didn't realize Harry Adams was that fast.
ReplyDeletehahaha You do so crack me up, THT.
ReplyDeleteMrsTHT is standing behind me fussing about some guy spouting off on tv. Oh wait, that's our President. I love MrsTHT.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I just couldn't help but post it when I turned around to see who she was fussing at.
Jonathan Crompton threw 5 touchdown passes in UT's opening win against Western Kentucky. He only threw 4 touchdowns all of last season.
ReplyDeleteTHT where do you call home?
ReplyDeleteMon - do you want me to delete the above post?
ReplyDeleteMrs. THT was extremely cool THT. you got you a winner there. sorry you left your glasses.
ReplyDeleteMonnie, did you see Wendy Nix with the red top and glasses? purrrrr.... ;)
Hi Storm,
ReplyDeleteWe're Tar Heel born and Tar Heel bred and when we die we'll be Tar Heel dead.
i.e., we live in Chapel Hill.
yep ScottieB, I got me an Auburn girl from North Carolina. Life couldn't be better for me.
ReplyDeleteLooks like my contract, except with less perks.
ReplyDeleteAnyone know if Miss State has cleared Dixon to play this week?
So whats everyone think over or under this week compared to last week
ReplyDeleteHeard dixon will play this week
ReplyDeletei got me a Volunteer who fully supports my Auburn addiction. she doesn't really get into football so much but she HATES the Tide. can't beat that, eh?
ReplyDeleteScottie good till week 5
ReplyDeleteand just like that the THT charm is broken...
ReplyDeleteNo, Scottie! I missed the Wendy Nix. Where? Where?
hatin' the Tide is of utmost importance for a successful marriage! I dare not mention some of the "wishes" MrsTHT has had for the Tide.
ReplyDeleteher and the Bachelor, i mean, Jesse Palmer were on the halftime show of the Ruters/Cincy game. ;)
ReplyDeleteMon - you make me laugh. My apologies if you were offended.
ReplyDeleteDixon will play. He didn't play in their opener because of a one game suspension because of a DUI.
ReplyDeleteTHT, that's great!
ReplyDeleteyeah, we're cool until week 5. one of our biggest fights came after the '03 game in Auburn.
sore loser.
DUI gets one a one-game suspension at MSU.
ReplyDeletehitting a punk after he swung at you earlier in the night while you are sober gets you a month or two in AU football purgatory. when will we see Eric Smith again?
speaking of running backs (ok, i am), why didn't Aycock play?
ReplyDeleteand where was Gabe McKenzie. i've seen the game twice and didn't see him play a snap. did i miss it? John Douglas played a ton.
those are 2 things i want answered!
THT,
ReplyDeleteWhich condos did y'all look at? We are looking at The Brown Crest. Tom is convinced we need hard assets for what he thinks will be a time of inflation in the future. I'm good with that kind of investment
is it just me or does fairley look 8 years old??
ReplyDeleteTHT - nope, not offended
ReplyDeleteScottie - Not watching the football game, so I missed it.
Other contracts now added.
ReplyDeleteCincy - when we got back to the car there was a flyer on the car next to ours about a condo auction. It's on Thach. Here's link
ReplyDeleteAycock won't be playing unless someone ahead of him on the depth chart goes down.
ReplyDeleteI don't anticipate seeing Eric Smith any time soon, if at all the rest of this season. What he did will get you up to 5 years in jail. Don't minimize his actions.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see McKenzie play. Douglas didn't play a lot, but he did get in there, especially late.
I don't believe Aycock played. That was a bit of a surprise. If Eric Smith hadn't gotten in trouble, I thought they would redshirt Aycock. With the Smith situation, I expected him to get some snaps. The main reason may be FAH's performance. He got about twice the number of carries that I anticipated.
If Jet was here he'd say Aycock was too deep to see any action. I wouldn't say that, but Jet would.
ReplyDeleteMon, I see you are All Auburn and All Orange now...., but wait I see a tad of BLUE!!!
ReplyDeleteso we can go all season with Tate & FAH only at RB? doesn't make sense to me. i know they can put Fannin there, but....what do i know.
ReplyDeleteMon is balancing my "All Auburn, All Blue, except a tad of orange" motif
ReplyDeleteMissinit - It looks like this without the blue.
ReplyDeleteI was expecting to see Fannin get some carries. I am still a it surprise Aycock didn't play. I don't see FAH as a 20 something carries per game type of guy. Plus, we don't need to risk injuries to key players.
ReplyDeleteI know we have a big discussion going about orange or blue, but the stadium did look pretty awesome all full of orange Saturday night. Sorry, THT!
ReplyDeleteShort-time reader, second-time poster. I just wanted to say i was very impressed with the Tigers. the people who like to pick apart the game for mistakes will find a few, but overall we looked 180 degrees different from last season. after that game i think we'll win between 7 and 9 games this year.
ReplyDeletewe have three guaranteed wins (LA Tech, Ball State, and Furman), and three that we should win barring some complete breakdown (Miss. State, West Virginia and Kentucky). That leaves six games that are toss-ups, or we are going to be big underdogs in. Tenn., Arky, LSU, Ole Miss, UGA and Bama.
Out of those six teams, all of them are beatable. Bama probably looked the best this weekend, but it's hard to say since everyone else played Women's Teaching Colleges. So if we beat the six that we should beat, and only win one of the other six, that's a 7-5 season. I think we'll do better than that, but that's the absolute worst that we will do (barring a complete breakdown/injury terribleness).
This analysis was brought to you by grilled fish sandos and cold beer.
The number of touches Kodi got was surprising, and I did see him line up at runningback once.
ReplyDeleteI would put Arkansas in the should beat category now. They have a good offense, but they don't have the defense to hang with us.
ReplyDeleteAs for Tennessee, I am uncertain. They scored a lot of points against a nobody.
The Arkansas and Tennessee games will determine the success of this season. If we win against UGA or Ole Nutt, I wouldn't be totally shocked. Even LSU looks vulnerable.
excellent analysis, Frame.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't paying that much attention, does anyone know how many snaps had both 23 & 44 on the field?
23 had 22 carries. 44 had 20 carries.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Frame.
ReplyDeleteI would agree except that I would NEVAH EVAH say "guaranteed win". I feel really good about 6 wins, pretty good about 7 wins and 8 wins would make me footballgasmic.
7th win = Arky
that's not my question SFC. I was wondering how many snaps BOTH were on the field, i.e. at the same time, if any.
ReplyDeletethat looks more like All Orange, No Auburn.
ReplyDeleteA lot this season will depend on injuries. If we had had a linebacker go down this weekend, we were in real trouble, although Etheridge was playing almost like a linebacker most of the game.
ReplyDeleteI can see anywhere from 6 to 10 wins, depending upon the breaks. 8 wins is probably most likely.
Monica is now definitely, "All Orange and All Auburn"!!!!
ReplyDeleteMonica,
ReplyDeleteI love that footballgasmic! I think Tom would use that word to describe me. I think I may have hit his saturation level. He's been home today and I keep calling out stats and quotes to him.
THT, they were often on the field at the same time. I even remember them both lining up as tailbacks in one formation, one to each side of Todd, a little in front of him.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Frame, good post, I enjoyed it and your outlook.
ReplyDeleteFAH was on the field a lot in different positions. Watching the video, it was hard to figure out where he was at times. I would see Tate in the backfield but notice FAH out there as the play developed.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought. SFC. The depth chart shows them at the same position, but if they're on the field at the same time, seems like we need more depth and someone else to come in to give them a breather now and then.
ReplyDeleteBEASLEY!!!
ReplyDeleteThe use to be bowl kicks off at 7:00 AuST.
ReplyDeleteI have watched the game twice. The second time, I paused it a lot to try to get an idea of who was in the game where. Even doing that, it was very difficult to keep up. We substituted a lot, but very quickly. The defense had no chance to react to who we brought into the game.
ReplyDeleteTHT did you just call me no Auburn? Let me just go ahead and say if you wanna start some, there's gone be some.
ReplyDeleteDear Leader - Nick does not look 8 to me.
I say if we stay healthy we win 10
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone had a great Labor Day with plenty of good eats. I just polished off some baby back ribs that I grilled this afternoon after cutting and manicuring Mrs. IV's lawn this morning.
ReplyDeleteJay, I forgot to thank you the other night for listing the freshmen and newcomers that played. Thanks for that and all the great work you do keeping us up to date on the Tigers. We do really appreciate you.
Get on it, Storm!!! w00t!!
ReplyDeleteWAR EAGLE!
IV you sure do kiss on that lawn. Do you need my mailing address to send me some of those ribs?
ReplyDeleteIf we start of 5 and 0 will that mean we still have no talent???
ReplyDeleteMon- i was only referring to your avatar. Previously, it definitely had "Auburn". Now it does not, unless of course, it is orange, too. In which case, I suppose it would be "All Orange Auburn"
ReplyDeletewelcome Storm.
ReplyDeleteSorry Monica, We did a pretty good job of taking care of them ourselves. We put about 3 in the refrig.
ReplyDeleteYes I have to take care of Mrs. IV's lawn if I want to stay here. I know who's the boss.
Thanks Scottie
ReplyDeleteIt is highly unlikely we stay healthy enough to go 10-2, but I am hopeful. I am hoping we get a Pybus and Freeman back at linebacker. That would be huge.
ReplyDeleteChiz was going to play Aycock, but after a phone call from Tim Tebow, Chiz decided to save Aycock for a more appropriate time.
ReplyDeleteI, slightly out of my mind, went on AL.com today and the mullet heads were saying that Saban pulled the scholly offer to L. Owens yesterday morning and that is why he committed to Auburn yesterday afternoon. Why can't I learn not to read that crap.
ReplyDeleteNote to self, stay off of AL.com and don't take J-Z and Michael seriously.
Sup Hotties? - a lovely afternoon here in the desert area of the middle of not much California. In reading about the incentives, I'm not clear on how much CGC could potentially see. I think I get it, but I'd like some comments from you fine people. Are the "Competitive Success" bonuses cumulative?
ReplyDeleteI hate UAT.
ReplyDeleteSo you made it safe and sound Norm, IV. Glad to hear that you did. All I can say about the contract and incentives is that coaching at best is a risky business. I wouldn't want to have to make a living at a job where your continued employment depended on what some 18, 19, 20, 21, & 22 year olds do. I think basically it is a good contract for both parties.
ReplyDeleteOk Hotties ...
ReplyDelete#1
How many total yards did we have last year?
#2
How many games will it take us to beat that number this year?
#3
How many total yards will we have this year?
Norm ...
ReplyDeleteWhen are you coming home?
#1: 3627
ReplyDelete#2: 7
#4: 4371
I love the optimism, but thinking we are going to win 10 games if we stay healthy is still a reach to me. @ UT, @ Arky, @ UGA, @ LSU and bama are goimg to be really tough games and we will be really lucky to split them.
ReplyDeleteEddie
ReplyDeleteIf we split the toughies and win the rest, that's 10 wins isn't it?
Monica your killing me those last 5 games are going to hurt!!!!! Sounds like we will be eiter dead in the water or our D will be saving our butts!!
ReplyDeleteI like your thinking, IV. And stay off of the comments section at Al.com. It just raises your blood pressure.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your concern Cincy.
ReplyDeleteNo al.com and no PF nothing can send me over the edge as fast as that show
ReplyDeleteIV- Sorry, I left out Ole Miss. If we win the so called "easy" games and split the rest that gives us 9 wins. I think 9 wins is realistically the best we could hope for, but I love being proven wrong. I still think anything above 7-5 will be considered a good season for the most part.
ReplyDeleteI say that because it absolutely makes my blood boil when I read them
ReplyDeleteEddie ...
ReplyDeleteI'm with you ... let's concentrate on being 2-0.
We're still the thin team we were going in to Saturday.
I enjoyed Saturday immensely, but let's get over it and get ready for More Cowbell.
Stormie - Gotta live it up now while the gettins good cause the last few are gonna hurt.
ReplyDeleteJet - Nice.
Mario drives a Mercedes? Can someone confirm or deny that for me?
I know better and I always say just red the article, don't read comments. Then I say I am going to read the good ones until I run into a humper comment. Well it didn't take long to get to one today. Why is it that even though the evil empire recruits the same players that we do, that if we get one, they aren't any good and they really didn't want him anyhow. Of course if they get one, he is the next super star.
ReplyDeleteWhy can't we win??? After all I don't think the players listen and buy into what the reporters (MOST OF THEM) are saying.. We are AUBURN.... Enough said.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteEddie,
ReplyDeleteJust messin' with you man. I am with you, lets take them one at a time. I have my expectations, but I want the players and me as well to believe that we can win them all. So I am going to say sure let's get to 2-0, but lets shoot for 14-0.
Stormie - I say you go right ahead and believe in 10 if you want to. Don't let these folks get you down.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, if you'd like to make a friend wager on that please email me.
Oh anytime someone here shows optimism the debbie downers jump up. Anytime someone expresses less than optimism the sunshine pumpers jump up. None of it matters. It's just the circle of life little Simba.
ReplyDeleteIt's allllll good.
And Monica's one them evil hyenas!
ReplyDeleteand don't you fuhget it
ReplyDeleteThoughts from the Hotties on FSU vs. the U?
ReplyDeleteWho are you all picking?
nice job with that map, THT
ReplyDeleteP.S. I like Brad Nessler.
ReplyDeleteP.S.S. Chris Todd is handsome.
ReplyDeleteThanks, PF
ReplyDeleteMiami & FSU ? Is that a relevant game? I couldn't care less who wins. It looks like the NCAA has yanked the rug out from under Papa Bowden and will let Joe Pa have the most wins.
ReplyDeleteI life FSU
ReplyDeleteNorm:
ReplyDeleteVictories: you get just one bonus for the final number.
Coach of the year: max 100K (one ore more awards = 100K).. or that's how I read it.
The rest of the bonuses are cumulative.
THT - a pretty active day yesterday, and a day of travel today kept me from catching up on posts. Care to share the map info another time? Just for me?
ReplyDeleteI don't care who wins the Yesterday's News Bowl.
ReplyDeleteI want MORE COWBELL!
I'm wanting the ranked team to lose.
ReplyDeleteDid Ziemba transfer?
ReplyDeleteYeah MORE COWBELL!!!!
ReplyDeleteJet please turn on your Yahoo!
ReplyDeleteAero - that's about how I had it figured. Though it didn't say specifically and I like having things spelled out for me, that's the nature of my job.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ Jet
ReplyDeleteThat's cold, brotha.
I've got a fever, and the only prescription is MORE COWBELL!
ReplyDeleteNorm, see my 4:13 pm post on this thread, then bookmark it.
ReplyDeleteBonuses etc are around page 4-5 of this 27 page document.
ReplyDeleteI hope I don't get banhammered for this
Contract
It's a pdf document.
Gus puts his pants on one leg a time -- just like you do. Except when he puts his pants on, he calls a beautiful football game.
ReplyDeleteI am not so sure that Gus may or may not be able to put his pants on both legs at one time. I couldn't say he doesn't after Saturday night.
ReplyDeletebtw, did I (successfully) post this before:
ReplyDeleteLiving on a Prayer made its '09 debut exactly 32 minutes prior to kickoff via Bon Jovi over the speaker system.
The AU Band also played it during a TV timeout at the 7:40 mark of some qtr, I forgot which one.
THT ...
ReplyDeleteThat was one of the disappointments of the evening.
I know I tried to post it using my phone, but there was no "submit" button. I may have posted it via computer later, but can't remember.
ReplyDeleteyes, Jet, I cringed at the disgust I knew many of the Hotties were feeling when they cranked that up.
ReplyDeleteI hate when the submit button disappears on the mobile. Ticks me off.
ReplyDeleteI don't cringe at that song, I sing along.
ReplyDeleteJacory Harris has some nice touch on his long bombs.
ReplyDeleteMonica is pumba. She knows a lot.
ReplyDeletei did too, PF, but don't tell anyone.
ReplyDeleteTHT - got it. Thanks. I notice one is conspicuously missing...I don't see a pinpoint for THT & Mrs. THT.
ReplyDeletewe don't tailgate, Norm. We're just crashers.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know where I can find a picture or screencap of Kodi and Chris celebrating Kodi's TD run together?
ReplyDeleteTHT, I'm a crasher too. I crashed with alums of Pi Kappa Phi this week. Nice dudes.
ReplyDeleteI watched District 9 today. Either I didn't understand it, or it was the goofiest alien action movie ever made.
ReplyDeleteI may be going solo this week, so if I do, I'll be a crasher.
ReplyDeleteDitto.
ReplyDelete(insert "provincial twit" reference at your leisure)
I didn't watch a movie today. I watched the back of Al Sharpton's head on my flight. So, I've got that going for me...
ReplyDeleteI love Bon Jovi. I love Living on a Prayer. I do sing along. War Eagle!
ReplyDeleteEither Al Sharpton suprisingly flies coach, or Norm is Bourgeoisie.
ReplyDeleteMonica, I agree. Todd is very nice looking.
ReplyDeleteHottie subgroup #321 - Hot for TODD!
ReplyDeletePF - I am, but the company won't pay for 1st Class tickets. I do get upgraded from time to time. Today wasn't one of those times however. But, he and I were only about 4 feet apart from each other.
ReplyDeleteSo far, I count Kathy, Monica, and SteveFC as founders.
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't seen this few seconds of video you should go there NOW!
ReplyDeleteJet sings along to show tunes.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure why al.com comments would make anyone's blood boil. Is it really that big of shock to find out Bama fans are stupid?
ReplyDeleteI miss Auburn vs. FSU games even though we had our heads handed to us plenty in those.
ReplyDeleteThey were always a fun OOC match.
I miss when the U was relevant too.
Bourgeoisie = Peter you are so precious
ReplyDeleteI suspect I'm being made fun of. Must go review my thought process.
ReplyDeleteI do not, Norm.
ReplyDeleteWell, maybe a few. After all, Saturday night was "Some Enchanted Evening."
Actually, I don't sing much, and society is grateful for it.
I just don't get the love for Livin' on a Prayer ... it's a song of desperation. It was perfect for last year. Or maybe it was Livin' for a Punt.
Monica, what are we suppose to watch?
ReplyDeleteSensi - I can only find a pic of Kodi scoring so far.
ReplyDeleteKathy - the little clip that starts automatically playing when you go to that page.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good song. It sounds even better when you're drunk and/or afternoon delighted. I don't know why. It just does.
ReplyDeleteJet I thought you were more of a "Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair" kind of guy.
ReplyDeleteWait, that was another classmate. Disregard.
Need suggestions for a Greg Knox sign for the Cowbell Game ... any thoughts?
ReplyDeleteAdd Chizik's contract in the context of other SEC coaches:
ReplyDelete1. Urban Meyer, Florida -- $4 million
2. Nick Saban, Alabama -- $3.9 million
3. Les Miles, LSU -- $3.8 million
4. Bob Petrino, Arkansas -- $2.9 million
5. Mark Richt, Georgia -- $2.9 million
6. Houston Nutt, Ole Miss -- $2.5 million
7. Lane Kiffin, Tennessee -- $2 million
8. Gene Chizik, Auburn -- $1.9 million
9. Steve Spurrier, South Carolina -- $1.8 million
10. Rich Brooks, Kentucky -- $1.25 million
11. Dan Mullen, Mississippi State -- $1.2 million
12. Bobby Johnson, Vanderbilt -- $1.1 million
Living on a prayer wasn't the them for last season. The theme for last season is here.
ReplyDeletePF .. I'm a man. I'm almost 46. I don't Afternoon Delight. I'm married, for cryin' out loud.
ReplyDeleteSteve Spurrier says he gets paid plenty.
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion: Don't make a sign.
ReplyDeleteI could live on what Spurrier makes.
ReplyDeleteMonica, I need a ruling on whether I can make fun of Jet for his lack of afternoon delight or not. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteMy motto's always been when it's right, it's right. Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night.
ReplyDeleteI hate Mickey Andrews. I hate Bama.
ReplyDeleteRuling: That's a go on the fun making.
ReplyDeleteI just thought Auburn fans would appreciate this.
ReplyDeleteNice Read
posted on the last thread ... THT, great map ... easier for me to follow . Also I can now see I don't know where I am tailgating (Heheh old age is showing.) We are actually in the field between Lem Morrison and Woodfield where all the RV's are. Anyone interested let me know and I will give directions.
ReplyDeleteSensi, This is indeed an open invite to any hottie that is in the area ... everyone is welcome and usually there are plenty of adult and non-adult refreshments and food.
It's about here. 200
ReplyDeleteThis may be a bit complex. How does his base pay rank in that list?
