We are coming....it was a stealth thread.

    ReplyDelete
  4. The wet field always favors the offense...the offensive player knows where they are going, the defender has to guess.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Where was the friggin flag for holding on the long pass? Coleman got bear hugged...

    ReplyDelete
  6. I'm doin' the best I can between burps......

    ReplyDelete
  7. In hindsight, we shouldn't have deferred.

    ReplyDelete
  8. We need to answer NOW!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Digger, there's about 57 mins or so left, the answer really isn't needed right now.

    ReplyDelete
  10. The holding was overly obvious, can't believe there was no flag.

    ReplyDelete
  11. ...but I'll take it.

    ReplyDelete
  12. We have to do something to keep Brown from getting outside the pocket and making plays.

    ReplyDelete
  13. pull up ya boots and lets go!

    come on Auburn!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Anonymous7:59 PM

Jeez looked like he took a knee

    ReplyDelete
  15. Our kickoff and kickoff coverage teams aren't so good.

    ReplyDelete

    Here we go!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Anonymous7:59 PM

    Nice, a little trickeration

    ReplyDelete
  18. Trott and Hawthorne started.

    ReplyDelete
  19. This needs to be a power game... a Tate game... speed gets somewhat neutralized by the wet field...

    ReplyDelete
  20. Anonymous8:01 PM

Still not happy with the tempo evidently

    ReplyDelete
  21. step into your dang throws!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Not a very productive possession.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Straight ahead power running is what we need.

    TACKLE!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Chris Todd last week and this week isn't getting his feet set when he throws the ball...and we aren't getting good tackling on Brown.

    ReplyDelete
  25. We can't miss tackles.

    ReplyDelete
  26. c'mon... we've got to tackle better

    ReplyDelete
  27. Devine. He was FAH before McAleb was FAH.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Adversity has come to call..... Now we will see what we are made of.

    ReplyDelete
  29. our defense might as well have stayed in the dang locker room

    ReplyDelete
  30. Now it's time for the "we have to answer NOW" post.

    ReplyDelete
  31. 140 yards given up by our D in 5 mins.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Please inform the D that conscientiously objecting to tackle won't hold up

    ReplyDelete
  33. We need to run right up the middle against the 3-3-5, this outside running isn't goin to work.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Anonymous8:13 PM

What is this ole bs the o line is doing?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I hate field goals but I guess we need points

    ReplyDelete
  36. we look pitiful so far... D damn well better step it up

    ReplyDelete
  37. Our KO coverage is terrible.

    ReplyDelete
  38. We maybe the worst on kickoffs and punts of any team in the country.

They really don't need a short field.

    ReplyDelete
  39. are you kidding me??

    ReplyDelete
  40. I saw a missed tackle by Freeman on that last TD run

    ReplyDelete
  41. 45 yards? What is the deal with our non-special teams?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Freeman had a huge missed tackle on that long run.

    ReplyDelete
  43. score now, dadgumit!

    ReplyDelete
  44. O lione is not coming off the ball WHY?

    ReplyDelete
  45. That 3-3-5 D is keeping the front six up pretty close.

    ReplyDelete
  46. great play call so close.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Set your feet Burns, set your f'n feet.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Now we know why Kodi is the Wildcar quarterback

    ReplyDelete
  49. Kodi had that guy wide freakin open!!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. The play by play guy is beyond awful... that's now the 4th time he's called a guy by the wrong name..

    ReplyDelete
  51. Now lets do something on the kickoff and get a stop!!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. To this point we are staring Adversity right dead in the eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I didn't think Todd could be this slick in the passing game. I thought we would see Tate running the ball a lot more.

    ReplyDelete
  54. This definately isn't last years team.

Last years team would have been dead.

    ReplyDelete
  55. The FAH stuff isn't something that will get this WV defense. They practive against Noel Devine. We need to be bullies and push the little guys around!!!

    ReplyDelete
  56. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  57. A lot of people don't think about it, but sometimes it's easier to pass on a wet field...the receivers know where they are going...the DB's if they have to adjust it's hard to get traction.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Who was that backup fullback, King? I heard the name on the radio. Who the heck is that?

    ReplyDelete
  59. we might as well try an onside kick... We're apparently going to give it to them at midfield anyway, might as well give ourselves a chance to recover the kick

    ReplyDelete
  60. Finally a good special teams stop.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Georgia taking over the game from Ark, up 30-21...as I type that Devine just runs through us.

    ReplyDelete
  62. devine isn't having a problem running...

    ReplyDelete
  63. We just let that guy hang out there.

    ReplyDelete
  64. We need to protect the middle of the field.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Ethridge!!!!! Where are you?

    ReplyDelete
  66. We can't tackle...and every time Brown rolls out we can't cover.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Piss poor job out there tackling.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Ted Roof needs to be fired if he can't teach tackling any better than this.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I haven't seen an AU defense play this bad in a very, very long time... pitiful

    ReplyDelete
  70. This defense left it in the locker room or somewhere. This is pitiful

    ReplyDelete
  71. WVU over 200 yards in the 1st quarter.

    ReplyDelete
  72. That coach is just grinning this is too easy.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Hope it is 38 point first Q after our next possession

    ReplyDelete
  74. The way the D is reacting to the 1st team with speed we've played all year, time to revise expectations unless something fires them up.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Todd needs to throw that screen a whole lot quicker than he has been.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Should have been picked there.

    ReplyDelete
  77. This is about to get ugly

    ReplyDelete
  78. We needed 10 yards...not 7.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Who knew Trott would drop one?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Trott still can't catch..oh boy

    ReplyDelete
  81. Wouldn't have mattered, we didn't need 7 yards.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Did the announcing team go to the bar during the delay? They are bad normally - but this is pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Everytime Brown rolls out we are in trouble as their recievers are alone.

    ReplyDelete
  84. A little shocked at the D so far.

    ReplyDelete
  85. The Bull isn't as advertised. So far a lot of noise, but not much substance.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I think Devine just had another kid in between plays.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Anonymous8:40 PM

That's gotta be the worst first quarter in recent Auburn defensive history.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Despite all the flash of our offensive design, you win at football by running successfully, stopping the run and playing solid in special teams.

Other than the FG, we're getting skunked.

    ReplyDelete
  89. If any of you guys see Bramblett in the near future please tell him to just go away.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Sensi: That was only 219 yards.

    ReplyDelete
  91. AMEN Jet. WOW, just WOW.

    ReplyDelete
  92. The stupid annoucers said Auburn defense has really been on the field a lot. BS they have scored so fast the defense should not even be blowing.

    ReplyDelete
  93. We have to have a stop here.

    ReplyDelete
  94. The flag will probably help us, but that was a pathetic effort on our part again.

    ReplyDelete
  95. BYU givin up 53 to FSU, Wow again.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Anonymous8:45 PM

    Only?

    ReplyDelete
  97. 1st good punt return of the year.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Good job by the D getting a stop...then the O shoots itself in the foot.

    ReplyDelete
  99. No matter what happens this should at least be one of those learning experience thingies...

    ReplyDelete
  100. Anonymous8:47 PM

Todd is gunning it in there.

We need to get stuff on the first two downs.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I am very dissapointed in the play calling. He talked about beating the opponent in the mouth, but Malzahn has not made any attempt at running it up the gut with Tate and Smith.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Run the frickin football with Tate on first down. Run straight ahead. Cut out the cutesy crap!!!

    ReplyDelete
  103. I've noticed in this game, Todd seems to not be getting his feet set, even when he isn't being rushed.

    ReplyDelete
  104. This is a fast defense. You run straight at a fast defense dang gum it!!!

    ReplyDelete
  105. I know we are down, but there is plenty of time, we don't have to do crazy stuff just yet.

However, the sound you are hearing are expectations crashing all around.

    ReplyDelete
  106. It would be nice if McClain would have showed up. The line is getting killed

If all it takes to make the Gus Bus offense look this bad is a 3 man line, Alabama will beat us by 70

    ReplyDelete
  107. Anonymous8:52 PM

I was looking for the Auburn game, I haven't found them yet.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Now, there is some attitude!!! Now, play ball!!!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Anonymous8:53 PM

What a shot. I just found them.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Anonymous8:53 PM

    Nice work 1 5 !

    ReplyDelete
  111. Nice play by Neiko. Big-time play.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Let's go boys, gotta make it work.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Todd sure stepped up at the right time

    ReplyDelete
  114. I got Fred Sanford blood pressure. I may not make it.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Anonymous8:55 PM

Our feet have many bullet wounds

    ReplyDelete
  116. We get our first Ziemba of the game.

    ReplyDelete
  117. And there's Ziemba's customary FS, hopefully it's out of his system now.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Cannot run, not no how!

    ReplyDelete
  119. Anonymous8:55 PM

    Note to FAH:

    Backwards running = not good

    ReplyDelete
  120. Don't give the ball to FAH!!!

    ReplyDelete
  121. Neiko may have changed some momentum, but we really need something big to happen for us here.

WVU is showing our LB's how to tackle.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Trott pushed for five more, ill take it.

    ReplyDelete
  123. They were tackling Hawthorne before the ball got there.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Anonymous8:57 PM

How is there not a flag on that?

    ReplyDelete
  125. This has been some horrible officiating.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Too bad we couldn't finish that drive.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Anonymous8:57 PM

Byrum has found the leg again.

    Thank goodness for that.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Only down by eight? How the...?

    ReplyDelete
  129. Hawthorne will make a play before he leaves Auburn.

    I refuse to believe otherwise.

    ReplyDelete
  130. That was Hawthorne that got mugged.

    ReplyDelete
  131. he @$%#@$%#@$ tackled him before the pass got there... WTF....

    ReplyDelete
  132. The Ref's have swallowed their whistle. Hopefully they will poop them out before the 2nd half.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I know who it was. He still could've caught that ball.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Guess what? Bramblett ridiculed the officiating.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Anonymous8:59 PM

goodness; these commentators are horrific. Calebb? and I loved how earlier he had a whole conversation about "Todd"; how he lost the job in the fall, worked as a wildcat guy, etc. and how Todd won the battle for QB in the spring. geezus

    ReplyDelete
  136. I think we need to take a deep breathe boys. Ahemmm..I just don't know.

    ReplyDelete
  137. about damn time he kicked one into the endzone...

    ReplyDelete
  138. i wouldn't take a touchback against AU no matter what the circumstances.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Shall I assume there's a halftime campfire?

    ReplyDelete
  140. Anonymous9:01 PM

we get a stop here; we'll be ok for the game

    ReplyDelete
  141. Come on D, we need a stop.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Someone decided to start tackling..for now.

    ReplyDelete
  143. We look scared to attack Brown in the pocket. We can't be.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Jock Sanders ate our lunch last year.

    ReplyDelete
  145. My laptop charger just totally died and I had to move to another room with a desktop. I feel like a fish out of water. I am out of sync. I will have to adjust.......just like Auburn has to do!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  146. Anonymous9:05 PM

    He's back for seconds EZ

    ReplyDelete
  147. Anonymous9:05 PM

    missinit is the cause

    ReplyDelete
  148. Anonymous9:06 PM

I didn't know WVU had enough money to pay off the refs. But I'm beginning to wonder.

    ReplyDelete
  149. I may set up a halftime campfire, but I will not be participating. I have a lot of work to do.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I swear to you I WILL get it together!

    ReplyDelete
  151. Anonymous9:07 PM

I just cannot believe the atrocious tackling so far. I know WV is quick, but so is FAH. The wet field should not contribute to poor angles and grabbing at cloth instead of hitting. i hope and think it will improve

    ReplyDelete
  152. Gulfshores, did they also pay off our LB's to not wrap up?

    ReplyDelete
  153. Thanks Jay G....so does Auburn!!!

    ReplyDelete
  154. You should let me be monitor.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Anonymous9:07 PM

    Halftime should be interesting

    ReplyDelete
  156. Anonymous9:07 PM

So, it's missinit's fault. Come on, man. Get your head in the game. Get that battery charged. Plug in. Do something. Anything.

    ReplyDelete
  157. I am not satisfied. I demand an increase in quality of play.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Here's a novel concept... WRAP UP on your tackles!

    ReplyDelete
  159. Goggans had a chance to kill the QB.

I'm just amazed at how badly we are doing out there when we can get a tackle or a sack.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Pathetic on 3rd and 15.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Anonymous9:09 PM

I can be hall monitor if you need one for campfire at halftime Jay G.

    ReplyDelete
  162. I have never sen such piss poor tackling in my life

    ReplyDelete
  163. missed tackles are killing us.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Anonymous9:10 PM

    Good Lord!

    ReplyDelete
  165. After about 20 attempts, we finally bring down Brown.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Lookin like Matt Jones, good grief.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Anonymous9:11 PM

Uhm, dear ESPN2 guys, save the feature stories for non-gametime.

    ReplyDelete
  168. I wonder what the missed tackle count is up? I bet we have many more missed than made at this point...

    ReplyDelete
  169. Onterio tryin to heat up.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Remember all the talk about the poor footing with UA cleats, Devine is having no problems footing, Mccalebb is.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Burns to Wisner, what?

    ReplyDelete
  172. Anonymous9:14 PM

    Starting to click a little

    ReplyDelete
  173. WVU is gassed.

    ReplyDelete
  174. West Virginia is DONE right now. They have nothing left.

    ReplyDelete
  175. In case you were wondering, that was Todd not Burns on the last pass, the announcers said so.

    ReplyDelete
  176. We have to finish this drive.

    ReplyDelete
