Refresher Course: Wednesday

Hey everyone. I hope you're not buying into this talk that Tommy Tuberville is snitching on Auburn or Alabama or South Dakota State or Manchester City F.C. As I said in the blog, think about what you hear. Does it make sense for a coach who is seeking employment to gain a reputation as a snitch?

Plus, you know what Carmelo Anthony thinks about snitchin'.

We'll talk about this more if you'd like. Anybody with a mic in front of them can allege anything. If someone has the goods, they'll spill it. If not, they'll keep quiet fearing that the top will be blown off an exclusive. Either way, claims that a certain radio host has explosive information yet isn't ready to discuss it publicly are a joke. Get real.

Here's the Auburn situation at this moment:

  3. I agree JayG, with your comments. I thought it was just sorriness that he would do that, but heis all about the ratings and more UAT fans will tune in (Is he trying to get the other 3% that do not listen to him) and poke at AU and say how bad AU is, and Tubb's has had enough of AU, blah, blah, blah.

Another reason I do not listen to that coward.
SOmebod please call in to his show and tell himI said that.

  4. As I said before, I have some possbile career damaging information about Paul Finebaum. I can't release it right now due to certain reasons I can't discuss, but I'm sure you all can guess.

Feel free to speculate amongst yourselves.

  5. whats up everyone?

what is going on? i have been not hear.

  6. RBs are tearing it up this year.

Is Onterrio sore and beat up or is Tate just carrying the load while he is hot?

What's up with Jeff Fisher wearing a Peyton Manning jersey yesterday?

Is he trying to get canned?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Peyton Manning says, "I'll kill a snitch. Just sayin'."

    ReplyDelete
  9. what is up with airplane food?

    ReplyDelete
  10. FAH is banged up so he isn't getting as many carries.

It's hurting us as it seems except for the scripted early plays we aren't using as much motion as we did in the first 5 games.

  11. Jet,

The Peyton Manning SNL United Way thing was one of the best things SNL has done since Will Ferrell left the show.

  12. I agree with every point Jay G has made regarding the Tubs rumor, but there's that one seed of doubt - -that vibe that he'll hunt with anybody's dog -- that lingers.

It also could be said thus: Now, Tommy, he'll go duck huntin' in December, if you know what I mean.

I'm 97 percent confident it's bogus. Of course, I was 99 percent confident a week ago that Mark Ingram wasn't a Heisman candidate. Thanks to the Advertiser getting in front, he's in the think of the race now.

  13. Good ole' Advertiser.

  14. JGT telling it like it is. That's why I'm a happy HABOTN consumer.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Maybe Sexton leaked the rumor about Tuberville to squeeze more money out of Auburn.

    Old habits die hard.

    ReplyDelete
  16. nothing like high altitude substance

    ReplyDelete
  17. whats the rumor? or do i have to go back to earlier posts?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Fisher was at a charity event and it was done tongue-in-cheek. Overblown in my opinion. He's one of the good guys.

    ReplyDelete
  19. AUfan ...

Don't think that hadn't crossed my mind.

    ReplyDelete
  20. What is up with airplane food? I wouldn't know as I have never flown.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Actually, I went up in a Mooney at Lagrange Regional but there was no food involved (thank goodness).

    ReplyDelete
  22. Sensi, Eddie & EBro,

Listening to your show it was asked if we had ever replaced a QB in mid year and had the back up come in and play better t han the starer.

    Campbell in 2002 replacing Cobb.

You mentioned Cobb replacing Campbell in 2001 which just brought a different series of problems from the QB, but the next year Jason was a definate upgrade.

  23. maybe Tubs has played the Trooper/McNeil clip backwords and heard "the N word" repeated over and over and he has revealed his findings to Slimeball.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I would say that everything is up as it relates to airplane food.

    ReplyDelete
  25. when Trooper said "you hear what is in your heart" i think that pretty much ends that conversation.

i thought it was a great response.

  26. AUNugget, Finebaum says he has damaging info that will harm Auburn. Firstly, supposedly it is that he knows something about Eric Smith's arrest which will make that more embarassing. Secondly, supposedly he has some info from Tubs about recruiting infractions while Tubs was at Auburn. Same 'ol, same 'ol.

    ReplyDelete
  27. RK, good catch on the podcast. I guess I think of that differently b/c it was kind of Tubs' and Petrino's plan all along to have JCam be starting again before the season was over.

    ReplyDelete
  28. the only damaging news f-bomb has is the we kick off against ole miss at 11:20....which....is kind of damaging if you think about it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I can't believe Tuberville is ratting us out. Coward!

    ReplyDelete
  30. He came by my house and dropped off a stray cat and then kicked it.

    ReplyDelete
  31. TOny Franklin snitched (yeah, I've said that before. so!).

    ReplyDelete
  32. Jay g says: stop snitchin'.

    ReplyDelete
  33. he upper decked my toilet.

    ReplyDelete
  34. PF, so you are saying Tubs can snitch and still get to be a coordinator in the Sun Belt?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I just bought enough groceries for two weeks. Well, Tommy Tuberville just came to my house, destroyed all of my groceries bought for future meals, and then he told my wife about my other wife in Toledo. He is a future destroying snitch!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Good article on Tate. He is a one of the players that lived up to his billing.

Anyone else hoping we see a backup QB get some snaps at LSU?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Seeing as how the backup QB is the one who killed us last year, not necessarily Steve.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Steve, Are you thinking Caudle? Or Trotter? Or, dare I say, Rollison?

Is it time to start getting one of them PT and experience for next year? Isn't that giving up on this year?

    ReplyDelete
  39. man do i wish i had some gossip on South Dakota State. i would drop it like it's hot. snitch on that!

    ReplyDelete
  40. ^^By the way, I was talking about Jarrett Lee for LSU killing us.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I have always thought that you should give playing time to at least one other guy. If he is in line for next year the better it is. You never know when a QB will go down and it is better to be prepared than to have to say uh oh we is in trouble.
I do not believe Tuberville is giving out any bad vibes about Auburn. Solid proof will have to be forthcoming before I even entertain the thought.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I killed the thread and hopefully the rumor as well.

    ReplyDelete
  43. No, the rumor lives on. Or more like the truth lives on.

    Tommy ratted us out!!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Any chance the disturbing news for AU is "Gene Chizik Day?" Today is 10-21 - same as his current record as a head coach.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'm glad we're not playing on 10-22.

    ReplyDelete
  46. ElTurbo, on HABOTN Deportes, reports from Spanish I that Barrett Trotter acknowledged that practice is going well, but offered no hints that he would be playing anytime soon.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Thanks Brother Jet. He isn't talking right??

    ReplyDelete
  48. There is no truth in rumors except the one about

    Puppets are alive and well.

    ReplyDelete
  49. ANTHONY HARRIS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I am hoping to see Caudle play. Burns has proven that he can't be the guy. Rollison shouldn't burn his redshirt at this point. Trotter is injured. Moseley shouldn't burn his redshirt either.
