I'm sure last night may have elicited a headache or two.
Anyway, here's what your head coach had to say about things.
- On Auburn's run defense: We were really playing the run well. When Eltoro went out, that certainly didn't help our cause. That's not an excuse. For a good bit of that game, we were playing the run well. We've got to be able to sustain that through four quarters."
- On Freeman's health: ``I don't know. We'll have to play that one by ear."
- On why Auburn's running game wasn't very effective: ``A lot of it was execution on our part. They've got a really good front seven. They got off blocks as well as anybody we've played. We had our chances to hit some runs in there."
- On the play of freshman LB Jonathan Evans, who took over for Freeman: ``For getting being abruptly thrown in there, he did well. He came in there and did an adequate job."
- On the late-game penalties: ``It's very disappointing -- and they're by veteran guys. That's really, really disappointing. These are guys you're counting on to win ball games for you. You can't even pinpoint something on a game -- but in those critical situations, without questions, I think it's a lack of concentration and attention to detail."
- On why Demond Washington didn't return the final kickoff: ``At that point, Demond was pretty blown. He had about had it at that point."
- On if he knew Washington was that fast: ``I did know he was that fast. He's one of the fastest kids on the football team without question. We had to have a guy who could make a difference back there."
- On Auburn's plan this week: ``Our plan right now is to practice three days this week and try to give them a day and a half off until Sunday. They need tomorrow and Tuesday off. They need those two days to just regenerate, recharge their batteries. They'll be focused and ready to come back."
- On the need to get a full signing class next year: ``Strategically, we'll have to be right on. We've got a lot of scholarships to fill."
- On Auburn's immediate recruiting needs (ie who they're trying to enroll before spring ball): ``We know we need to get an offensive tackle. That's got to happen in January. It's got to be the perfect fit. Maybe two offensive linemen. If it's the right fit, we have no problem with (junior-college kids)."
- On the need to find more safeties: ``We've got a couple high-school guys in mind. We're pretty good with where we are right now at that position. We'll know more about how we'll proceed when we gather a little more information about the health of our guys here."

Unrealized substance.
ReplyDeleteWar Eagle!
ReplyDeleteThe Blog lives!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Alan .....War Eagle!
ReplyDeleteI disagree with CGC that we were stopping the run early. It seems more to me that UGA was abandoning the run.
It will be interesting to see if new stuff can be implemented for the IB.
Wonder if Eltoro will be back for the IB. My guess is that unless it was a minor concussion, 2 weeks is not enough time to come back and play LB.
2 weeks was enough for Tebow. Hopefully, it will be enough for Eltoro.
ReplyDeleteMr. Tate- Thanks for all the quotes from last night and today. Even in defeat, I still love reading what my AU Tigers have to say.
ReplyDeleteWARRRRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!
THT ....this blog was so hot for so long ....a little burnout should be expected. I got informed that I was the DD for the ride back from the Pig Roast last night, otherwise I would be "burned out".
ReplyDeleteFor the first time this season, I was frustrated at the lost and I can't ut my finger on why.
Losing 4 straight times to UGA has something to do with it.
The fact that UGA decides to get their act together against us has something to do with it.
The fact that we again had a calamity of failures that added up to us losing has something to do with it.
I can rationalize each one of those reasons and convince myself that anger isn't warranted .....I just don't want to.
playing Eltoro's health "by ear", instead of "day by day." Hmmmm, I wonder what the difference is.
ReplyDeleteWell, MrsTHT has spoken. I will be at the IB. That's going to be a painful experience.
Maybe CGC got the word that the
ReplyDeleteHABOTN has heard enuff "day by day" answers. haha
It's great to be an Auburn Tiger! I said, it's great to be an Auburn Tiger!
ReplyDeleteI hate losing. It is one of the things I hate worse than anything!! It kept me awake last night, fretting over losing a game we should have won.
But, I keep reminding myself that this was going to be a tough year. In many ways it has exceeded my expectations. I just got a little spoiled in those first few games. But I love the track we are on. Great days are ahead for Auburn.
And I love being an Auburn Tiger!!!
Cincy ...It IS great to be an Auburn Tiger!!! I was reminded of that at halftime while at a gathering of about 20 UGA fans and 12 AU fans. We shared funny and treasured memories of past games and events. I know that some of the other folks that live in Ga. will be targets of serious grief this week, I'm happy to say that I won't.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I'm one of those Hoopie.
ReplyDeletewatching the game on CSS. throw to Adams inthe end zone when Fannin was WIDE open, next play hit Fannin on flair and Trott holds. I live in Montgomery, where Trott is from, I am ready for him to go.
ReplyDeletewith 4:00 left in the 2nd quarter, the UGA fans booed the play calling. Even the announcers said something about it.
We let this team beat us?
I believe next year we will see a lot of new faces playing at AU. There are alot of young talented kids coming in that will give Au a better chance to win.
ReplyDeleteUGA rowd booing again on the last play of the half.
stillwatching the game, inthe 2nd half now. UGA wr's were blocking downfield all night. Guess what, they were not holding so the ref could see it.
ReplyDeleteDid Isay how I am ready for Trott to leave? Why isn't Lutz playing?
well, after posting more than I can recall in a while last night, I woke up today and was satisfied with my criticisms of the game. I am disappointed in this team, because we know they can play very good football at times, i.e. UT, WVU, OM. Nonetheless, I actually looked it up.. In Saban's first year, UAT went 6-6 regular season, including consecutive losses to LSU, Miss St. ULaMo, and us. I am sure they thought the world was ending, but they seem to be doing ok the past 2 years. I hope/assume/expect us to be in the same situation next year. In addition, when we beat UAT, Fl loses to FSU or UAT, and TX loses in the BigXII CG, who do you think the BSC takes, TCU, Cincy, or Boise St. to the NC game? What a wonderful world that would be.
ReplyDeleteEddie Gran Interviews at Memphis
ReplyDeleteMy problem is that it looks like the 'good' teams we beat really beat themselves.
ReplyDeleteCrompton was horrible against us.
Snead was horrible against us.
Brown from WVU was horrible against us.
If the QB is off, we won. (the tough? teams)
as others have said, I can take a loss, but I can't take the way this team is losing. They look horrible at times.
Bear82 - TCU belongs, if they win out, of course. That is a very good team.
ReplyDeleteCincy - it is ALWAYS great to be an Auburn Tiger! Painful at times, but always great!!!
WARRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!
GO TIGERS!!!
GO HORNED FROGS!!!

ReplyDeleteStill watching the game. 3rd and long (13) and UGA picks up 47.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if there is a stat for how many 3rd and 10+ AU has given up a 1st down?
UDA scores up the middle. COmmerical now, next is the Ko return by Washington.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about y'all but I am ready to skip ahead to the Friday after Thanksgiving....
ReplyDeleteOK,saw that, time to watch something else.
ReplyDeleteFSJ-How many on here do you think are ready for that?
ReplyDeleteIf I was on death row, I would not ask for the date to be moved up a week.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how many are ready for the game, but I do know that I am looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteI am scared to death though. We will have to play well to win. I expect Auburn's best effort of the year.
OK, I saw the int where Adams was WIDE open. adams was on the right side and after 10 yards was looking back over his right shoulder. He was about 5 yards from the sidelines.Todd threw it to the center of the field.
ReplyDeleteZiemba got shoved 8 yards into the backfield. He was backpedaling and almost beat the snap back to Todd.
Freeman could very well end up being day-by-day.
ReplyDeleteWhat we have here is failure to execute.
FSJ-If McElroy has that bad of a game that AU wins, the redshirt will come off AJ 12 games in to the season.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I'll be home, exhausted after hours of futile cheering of my beloved Auburn Tigers, not to mention the 1000 mile drive in 2 days. But at least I'll be able to start the recovery process then.
ReplyDeleteTHT,
ReplyDeleteI am ashamed of that attitude! It is never futile to cheer on our beloved Tigers. And where is some positive thinking? NO ONE gave us a chance in 1989 when bama came to the Plains undefeated and ready to be crowned National Champions. I expect better from you. C'mon - buck up!! You know I love ya :)
CINCY-I am for sure stopping by your condo for pre game. That soroity stuff kept me tied up for way too long before the OM game.
ReplyDeleteGreat, WTC, we'll be looking for you!
ReplyDeleteCincy - have you been smoking funny weed? Of course Auburn was going to win the '89 Iron Bowl. I was 90% sure of that one. We had an outstanding team. As for this year.... no, we don't have a chance, unless AU team & UA-T team I haven't seen this year show up.
ReplyDeleteThe only IB I was 100% sure for was 1972.
We have a shot, primarily due to the potential for Elroy to help us. We always have a shot against Alabama. We have an offense with the potential to hang with them, but our defense will have to play better than I have seen them play this year for us to win.
ReplyDeleteWell, until we actually get beat, I always think there is the potential for us to win. So I choose to think we will win. That way I have 2 weeks of happiness that I wouldn't have otherwise :)
ReplyDeleteI am with you Cincy. Stay positive. The game isn't over yet and we will play better than last year. This team will not quit.
ReplyDeletethat's a very clever mind game, Cincy. I'm not smart enough to pull that one off :-(
ReplyDeleteI hope my "frequently wrong, but never in doubt" mantra holds true.
Hey, I'm great at mind games. I hope you and Mrs. THT can make it by our tailgate before the game. Would really like to see you both.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone is listening, did you just hear what the announcers were saying about Jerraud Powers? They said the coaches were very impressed with how prepared he was and how much football knowledge he came into the pros with. They predicted him a future pro bowler. War Eagle!
ReplyDeleteAnyone watching the East Carolina-Tulsa game?
ReplyDeleteYou get a look at what a mobile QB can do in that offense.
I was truly disappointed in the game last night. I was sure we were going to win it even up and until the last pass fell incomplete.
ReplyDeleteWe shot ourselves in the foot so many times I thought it was time to make it up and score. We didn't so I am still upset. I know, who cares but me.
The sun will rise tomorrow. We'll be fine.
ReplyDeletedigger-it does no good. I watched three + quarters of the replay tomight. it wasn't pretty the second time either. i am over it now. Time to move on. All the wailing and gnashing of teeth doesn't change anything. And besides, no matter whatI say, the coaches will not listen to me nor seek my advice (not saying they shouldn't they jsut won't)
ReplyDeleteebro=You are right. I still have to go to work Monday so event though in the moment I was disappointed, AU will be OK. The 2011 team will be much better with much more talent.
ReplyDeleteI care, digger.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think we will be much better in 2010.
wtc...yep.
ReplyDeleteIt's natural to feel bad after a loss to the Dawgs, and I do, but it's a long-term project Chiz is undertaking and I like the direction.
I still say we have to get rid of 11 straight games w/o a break. If I had my way, I'd go back to playing 11 games a year. Never been a big fan of the 12th game.
i love auburn, always will, but many fans dont have much faith in us for the last game, check ebay ans stubhub, lots of auburn fans selling to enthusiastic bama fans, hell with those prices listed even I am being swayed...its hard because I dont want bammers in my seats, but that much cash, on the day after thanksgiving...mmmmm, my heart will win out but $600.00 helps
ReplyDeleteI implore all Auburn fans to attend next Friday. The odds may be stacked against us, but worse teams than Auburn have beaten better teams than Alabama.
ReplyDeleteBelieve...
I believe...
ReplyDeleteThanks Cincy.
ReplyDeleteLet me rephrase what I said earlier. I implore all Auburn fans who already have tickets to the game to still attend. Don't let the Bammers take over.
stubhub has 613 tix for slae and the avg price is 250 per. They are asking $350 per in my section.
ReplyDeletechoices, choices.
The only way a bammer gets any of my unused Iron Bowl tickets is after I eat them and poop them. I wouldn't dare allow any of my tickets to fall into the hands of "those people."
ReplyDeleteebro-I will be there.
ReplyDeleteE-Bro - not since 1949.
ReplyDeleteoops, E-Bro, I misread your comment as "worse Auburn teams" instead of correctly reading it as "worse teams than Auburn"
ReplyDeletewtc, THT...sounds good. I like it.
ReplyDeleteYeah, THT, I was just talking in general sports terms.
ReplyDeleteBoy, they have really sung Powers' praises tonight. They are very high on him.

ReplyDeleteThe preceding list includes just a few of the fine, young Auburn men who will do their utmost over the next two weeks to help Auburn beat Alabama on Nov. 27.
ReplyDeleteLet's make sure that we as Auburn fans do our part and show up and support them in this endeavor. I think this team deserves that from us at least. They may not be a 2004 vintage, they may not have Heisman or Outland trophy winners, they may not be Amazin', but they are Auburn Tigers, and that's what matters.
Now let's go. It's Bama week (kinda sorta).
What in the world is ebro on?
ReplyDeleteE-Bro with the media guide.
ReplyDeleteI am no longer on a bus, and thankful for that. I am happy to be home to get my blood boiling for 11 days.
ReplyDeleteHate UAT. Do your part.
Good Morning Hotties!
ReplyDeleteBack from Athens and yesterday's terrible experience with a McDonalds hamburger that I ingested around 2:00 a.m. on my trip home Sunday morning. A very long and miserable day yesterday, but I'm feeling much better this morning.
Enjoyed meeting Sensi and experiencing that debacle Saturday night with him. Don't know where the Auburn team went after that 1st quarter, but I do know our D was gassed. It was hard to watch. I know they were exhausted. Of course, it took forever to get out of Athens, and sorry to say there were several fights outside the stadium as we were walking to our car. Some drunk girl was yelling at us that all these Auburn fans were making her puke. I really don't think that was what was making her sick, but oh well. I'm sure she felt as bad as I did yesterday!
On to the the Iron Bowl! I'll be there. I'll be loud. These young men have had a long season. They deserve our support.
War Eagle! Hate Bama!
I'm giving you an Iowa fan advisory.
ReplyDeleteI omitted Iowa from my ballot this week -- consecutive losses will do that -- and now the Iowa fans think they're still the best team in the Big 10.
Did you know several AP voters still have Iowa at 11 and 12? I'm speechless.
Anyway, they're back with their email justifications. I may post a few.
So, you couldn't bring yourself to rank Iowa in your Top 25 this week? Interesting.
ReplyDeleteYou can't seriously be that obtuse as to believe Iowa isn't one of the Top 25 teams in the country??
I realize you write for some small hick paper in Alabama, and that either Auburn or the Crimson Tide is probably your favorite team...(and I'm sure the SEC is probably all you really care about)....but to not even rank Iowa is truly beyond simple southern boy bigotry.
Iowa people calling me a hick. Is that awesome or what?
ReplyDeleteJay G is a Southern Boy and a bigot.
ReplyDeleteJay G loves Auburn and Bama :)!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo should we expect an Iowa invasion here this week?
ReplyDeleteI don't know, Jay. Yes Iowa has 2 losses, but they played pretty good football Saturday, especially for starting a freshman QB. I have to say I think they deserve to be ranked more than USC. I can't believe USC is still ranked 22. And I'm really not too impressed with Miami still ranked 21. Is Ohio St at 9-2 really good enough to be ranked 9? And Iowa at 9-2 is out of your top 25?
ReplyDeleteI kinda think they have a gripe :) Course I don't know how you ranked these other teams.
Hey Hey Hey...
ReplyDeleteThe only bammer you should sell your tickets to is this bammer....
I would put Iowa in the top 25 as well, however I'm glad Jay G. didn't because I love people getting upset over nothing.
ReplyDeleteHaving spent the better part of four days in Indianapolis and its rural surroundings ... the Midwest cannot speak to the hickishness of any others.
ReplyDeleteJay G is the least hickish person I know that has spent a significant portion of his life in Kentucky and Alabama.
Maybe, just maybe we can play the Corn in a bowl game. That would be sweet.
I love that the Patriots got greedy and Bill Belichick out smarted himself last night...I hate that I gave up on the game and didn't see it.
ReplyDeletePatriots....LOL!!!!
ReplyDeletemornin' hotties. i had a great time in Athens on saturday despite the loss. it was good to see Eddie, Sensi, and PF. time to regroup and focus on the Tide.
ReplyDeleteI didn't rank USC, either.
ReplyDeleteNE went for it on 4th-and-2 from itds own 28 ... we were stunned.
ReplyDeleteThen they didn't get it. And Jae Wilhite was toasted for the winning TD.
Glad you didn't rank USC. Watching them play Saturday really showed how far they have fallen.
ReplyDeleteJay,
ReplyDeleteDid you hear how the announcers were talking about Jerraud Powers? They kept reporting things the coaches had said about him. They are very high on him. It was great to hear.
This team really missed Powers and Marks this year. Those two would have been huge helps. Powers was the next best DB to Rogers in this decade if you ask me.
ReplyDeleteScottie- Thanks for letting us kick with you at the game. Had a great time!
ReplyDeletei only saw about 5 minutes of the game last nite but i caught the props they said about J.Powers. they said they called him the 'old man' because he knew so much about football.
ReplyDeleteJerraud is the kind of kid who will make everyone say nice things about him ... works hard, is happy and respectful. Pretty much everything you want in a player.
ReplyDeleteHis third-down pass deflection (before the fourth-down mess) was out-friggin-standing.
no problem Eddie. glad we had the hotties reppin' in Athens. i'm making sure mrs. scottie goes next time.
ReplyDeleteEddie,
ReplyDeleteYou'd rank Powers over such greats as Horace Willis & Kevin Hobbs (I'm still shocked he made it in the NFL for awhile because he was toasted often in college).
Actually I'd rank Rosegreen as a better college DB than Powers.
However Powers was our best corner outside of Carlos Rogers in a long time.
RK, i can't believe you didn't mention Antoine (Dirty) Nolan. shameful.
ReplyDeleteThat's not the last decade.
ReplyDeleteDirty left after 1998.
oh, forgot about the decade thing. my apologies to RK. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnyone know if the goalposts in Canada are 50 yards wide?
ReplyDeleteJust curious since Damon Duval set the CFL scoring record this year.
I could have mentioned Rodney Crayton and Larry Casher since they were around in 2000, but Nolan was already gone.
ReplyDeleteas much as I dislike all Big Ten teams, I think Iowa and tOSU both deserve to be ranked, somewhere in the 20s, just behind a crappy Southern Cal (a team that beat tOSU in the horseshoe).
ReplyDeleteTCU is #1, baby!!!
RK- Rosegreen was an awesome Safety no doubt, but Powers has mad skillz. I think he may end up being a better pro CB than Rogers. Time will tell, but I was always impressed with the guy. I thought he was about as shutdown of a corner as one could expect.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Tre Smith, he played a couple of games as a reserve at safety?
ReplyDeleteWar Eagle!
ReplyDeleteI take full responsibility for the loss Saturday. I wore my road white Auburn shirt instead of my orange and blue striped lucky Auburn shirt. I also spent most of the day with Georgia fans in Georgia, but away from the game site. Surely one of those things must have affected the outcome.
Personally, I am not going to be too critical of any one player. There were a lot of missed opportunities, and football is a team sport. I am pleased with the season the team has had. It certainly has been better than I imagined it would be. I also think that they will show up for Bama.
The hatin' starts today. Screw Bama.
ReplyDeleteI expected 7-5, though I didn't know the exact route we'd take to get there.
ReplyDeletebtw, I hereby proclaim the THT household as the one filled with the most hate for UA-T. Anybody else have their children written out of the will if they go to UA-T? That was MrsTHT's idea. I love that woman.
The Hatin' never stopped, Hoopie. So it can't start today.
ReplyDeletegoogle quote of the day from Marcus Garvey, "With confidence, you have won before you have started."
ReplyDeleteWhere can I get me some of that stuff?
I never stopped hatin, but the hate is turned up a few notches starting this week. I just don't want to peak too early.
ReplyDeleteHatin' here, and the hatin' is well deserved. (I hate bama, but I like FSJ!)
ReplyDeleteas long as I'm hogging the blog, let me praise E-Bro for that outstanding one man show last night. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI don't understand some of you folks. How on earth can the UA-T hate "peak" when it's pegged to the max on the hateometer at all times? At least, mine is.
ReplyDeleteGood quote, THT, but said by a man who used to walk around in a robe with a crown on his head. I don't think I could ever have that much confidence.
ReplyDeleteBack to work!
ReplyDeleteWar Eagle, Hotties!
ok, its official, wife and I cant make the iron bowl, so tell the hotties, 2 seats are for sale, section 43, lower, roq 38, near the exit, good bathrooms, scoreboard side, not the jumbotron side. hotties have first dibbs and or auburn fans, they are on stubhub as well.
ReplyDeletesorry to hear that PDWT. :(
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful Monday morning an I do feel better. Thanks to the hotties that supported me last night. Hope to see some Iowa corn pone hikes on here telling us how great a 2 loss team they have in Maize country. Southern Cal being in the top 25 just shows the bias prevelant in the polls. And they say no team has privilages LMFAO.
ReplyDeleteLots of Bammer rumors about a possible "insert color here" uniform option we are going to display in the game Nov. 26.
ReplyDeleteBest response so far:
"Auburn should wear all white. As in, 'I surrender.'"
I LOL'd at that.
WTC,
ReplyDeleteI like to watch all the games (numerous times) and I cannot count hte numebr of times CT has not seen wide open players....
Not that I could do better and my view is better without 7 people attempting to kill me...
BUT it really hurts to see that..
WAR EAGLE!!!
hikes =hicks
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that pdwt....
ReplyDeleteSensi,
Please let Auburn wear black jerseys.
I say AU comes out like real men and plays without jerseys.
ReplyDeleteIt'll suck if we lose back to back years to both UGA & Alabama.
ReplyDeleteDL-I could not do any better myself. He gets some heat, but the coaches no ALOT more than I do.
ReplyDeleteI realized early on (after the ARK loss) that this team is really a stop the bleeding group. Unfortunate for the seniors, but maybe they will be remembered as the group that turned this program back to the updside.
Eddie-you are on to something. IF,IF ,IF, IF Au still had Marks and Powers on D, and the kids that were kicked off this summer (2 that probably would have played a lot if not started)we would have a different team. Can't control that and the players made their choices. You just have to roll with the punches.
ReplyDeleteThe future is bright. Look where we were last year. We have coaches who are recruiting, and recruiting hard. We have the #1 recruit out of MS, AR, and LA. They are looking for OL to join the team in Jan. Our veterans just need to get their heads into the game. I would also like to see more plays to Eric Smith. And where is Lutz? Trott could not hold a block Saturday, or if he did, he was holding!
ReplyDeleteThis team will probably be remembered much like the 1981 team, a team that was pushing the program over the hump but couldn't get over the hump themselves.
ReplyDeleteHATE-a-thon 2009.
ReplyDeleteDo it for the kids ... and for the troops.
Otherwise, the terrorists win.
P.S. -- I'm upping coffee consumption for the next 11 days to properly prepare for the game.
Jet:
ReplyDeleteI need something stronger than caffeine.
My hate is getting warmed up too. I form tackled my Auburn sister yesterday.
Like the coke'd up zombie corpse of Johnny Cash, we shall arise.
ReplyDeleteDid anybody see the pics of the UGA campus in the aftermath of the game? Those people absolutely trash their campus. They did it after last year's Bama game too. I've never seen that in Tuscaloosa or Auburn.
ReplyDeleteFSJ - you're avatar makes me sick. I hope that was the intended effect ;-)
ReplyDeleteI saw it in BTR last month. Trash was just everywhere. It was gross.
ReplyDeleteLol...THT..
ReplyDeleteWe are the number two team in America...right?
:-P
We have to beat UGA next year, right now we have to fear their thumb.
ReplyDeleteHere's a pic of the UGA campus..
ReplyDeleteUGA
No worries RK...Auburn will smoke UGA next year.
ReplyDeleteFSJ that is awful. do the not have trash cans near the tailgaiting section. At Auburn they have them all over the place and Auburn fans use them.
ReplyDeleteI'll probably be using one of those trash cans after the IB. Yes, I'll be that sick.
ReplyDeleteHope not THT Upsets do happen even those that seem impropable. Hope is enternal.
ReplyDeleteDigger, you can see the trash cans in the photos. They were everywhere. They also had people walking around giving out trash bags. They asked us if we needed one when we entered the parking garage. They even show a clip on their big screen asking fans to clean up after themselves. They have a real problem.
ReplyDeleteSo, FSJ, going from Cousin Humping to Sibling Humping.
ReplyDeleteHmmm.
The Hate is On.
funny thing, FSJ, that campis didn't look that way at 2am when I was walking through it. A drive around at 8:30 Sunday confirmed that it had been cleaned the night before.
ReplyDeleteKathy,
ReplyDeleteI like to think that Bama and Auburn fans are more civilized..
:-p
PF - you home safe and sound? That was one long drive.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Demond Washington, SEC Special Teams player of the week.
ReplyDeleteWell deserved for Washington. I just hope he can fix his punt catching and remember to hold onto the ball all the way into the endzone.
ReplyDeleteThe punt that he bobbled he had miles of room to take that straight up field.
not yet. Spent yesterday in Atlanta watching the Atlanta and Tampa games with friends, drove to Jax last night so I wouldn' have to drive all the way . I was lucky to not have to work today or yesterday wouldn't have been fun.
ReplyDeleteWTC Agreed..
ReplyDeleteReally hate it for the seniors and esp. Tate, he is a good kid and will go far in life..
Don't hate it for the Seniors yet. Still one more chance to do something special. It may only be a small chance, but a chance nonetheless.

ReplyDeleteI am jeopardizing a streak a week from Friday. I have never seen AU lose an Iron Bowl at JH. I've been at all the ones we've won, and missed the two we lost. I'll be there this time, so hopefully my streak will live on!
ReplyDeleteOk...maybe a blizzard will keep Scott from going to the game.
ReplyDeleteI sat through that monsoon at the WV game, so I'm sure I'm up for a blizzard! I've got my hate to keep me warm!
ReplyDeleteI live in Chattanooga and the Tennessee Valley, and it's long been thought that TVA is what generates electricity throughout this region.
ReplyDeleteIt is, in fact, my hate for Bama.
E-Bro, can you arrange for weapons for the UTC players to take on their trip to UAT?
ReplyDeleteSC...I'll see what I can do.
