It was a full-contact practice. It lasted approximately two hours.
"Today we had a good bit of individual stuff," reserve lineman Bart Eddins said. ``That's just working on a couple little things to correct things from previous games. We're just trying to correct some of these little things so we can send these seniors out and these coaches out on a good note."
- OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST:
- Ted Roof seemed to indicate that S Mike McNeil is practicing, saying "he's doing well" when asked if McNeil was back. Don't know what to make of that. Roof declined to elaborate.
- Antonio Coleman said his mid-season injury was a partially torn ligament in his wrist. The cast was worn on game days to prevent further damage. He said the injury wasn't painful once the cast was applied.
- Tracy Rocker on his relationship with Coleman: ``Well, when I got here I made a promise to him and I told him, the goal is we're going to get you to Amen Corner and be a great football player. We went through adversity, he played with a cast on. He came along and did some good things, I'm proud of him that he fought through it and showed up at the end of the year."
- Gus Malzahn on Clint Mosley's performance at practice tonight: ``Tonight was really the first night that we got a chance to see him run our offense. He did a solid job. Barrett Trotter also got some reps. Those two guys will get quite a few reps before we leave for the bowl site. Both of them did a good job tonight. They’re both eager. They’re hard workers, they pay attention to detail and they want to be good so it was fun to coach those guys tonight."
Bowl Substance!!
ReplyDeleteDangit
ReplyDeleteSponge...it was just lucky timing on my part. Nothing you could have done about it.
ReplyDeleteJay, I'd take that blond UT booster in that picture, riiite now. Git er done...
ReplyDeleteI have no official comment on the matter. ESPN watches this blog closely.
ReplyDeleteI got the feelin that it was mine at last Ebro. No one on the blogs, and Jay keeps putting up another thread. Thought it was mine at last.
ReplyDeleteThose girls are attractive, don't get me wrong, but are they really UT messageboards legend worthy?
ReplyDeleteAny "unofficial comment?
ReplyDeleteI'm heading to Tampa and can't wait for the fun to begin!
ReplyDeleteThey use a stopwatch to monitor any informational delays between the HABOTN and The Gold Mine.
ReplyDeleteIf I post first, nobody cares.
If Goldberg posts first, NORAD is notified and we move the DEFCON 2.
Sponge...my bad. If he post a video thread or something, I will step aside and let you have it.
ReplyDeleteNo one is talking "legend" status. I'll say this. Tiger would have done well to sub one of them in for one of those he picked. Just sayin.
ReplyDeleteJay, the other day, you thought this much ado about nothing. Still?
ReplyDeleteWell, as a rule, I've tried to say away from Tiger-gate, so I haven't really seen any of the women he's connected to, but I'll take your word for it.
ReplyDeleteAnyone read Rockers comments. Read between the lines. I know he was shocked when he looked at his line when he got to Auburn.
ReplyDeleteJay, that Goldberg in quick now. You'll have to be on your toes from now on.
Lucy's Bro ...err E-Bro nice Linus avatar. Time to recite the Christmas story.
ReplyDeleteE. Let just say a couple of them were, to bring back a word from high school, skags. None of them were as hot as the one he's married to. But, so it goes.
ReplyDeleteMosely and Trotter ready bring on the competition for next year's starter. I like it.
ReplyDeleteLooked at goldberg's site and don't see any kind of info conflict.
ReplyDeleteJGT ...maybe I'm dense, but what does ESPN have to do with Goldberg and besides jeolosy why would they care what goes on over here?
Well Hoop, what's up.
ReplyDeleteWTC, jumped in the last thread an promised substance in recruitin, but them disappeared. Guess we weren't a large enough audience.
Yeah, Sponge, looking at his wife reading what you say, it's a headscratcher.
ReplyDeleteHoopie...thanks for the avatar comment. Love me some Chuck Brown, especially come Christmas time. Still, I feel like I've seen somebody else on here with the same avatar, so if that's the case, all apologies for seeming like a rip off.
Goldberg = Blind hog finding acorn
ReplyDeleteHABOTN = The essence of substance
Speaking of avatar, hear rave reviews for that movie from the pre-screening. Preveiws look pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that Tiger may be guilty of a GUE (Go Ugly Early)
ReplyDeleteWatch old Goldy now. Those soft spoken types can sneek up on you.
ReplyDeleteSponge...don't know what to think of that movie. Looks both highly interesting and hugely weird. I'm sure I'll check it out at some point, maybe DVD.
ReplyDeleteFor the record, I have no problem at all with Goldberg. He does a nice job. I read the Gold Mine.
ReplyDeleteI don't like to see HOTTIES posing Goldberg's information here. That's meant for his site. It's his work. Plus, I wrote the same stuff here. I don't understand why we need both versions of the same story.
Hoop, if that's the best his "madam" could do for him, I'd have sent her packin like he did Fluff Cowan. I mean, come on.
ReplyDeleteIs everyone headed to the bowl?
ReplyDeleteDon't think I'm going. It is what it is, as Chiz would say.
ReplyDeleteJust messin around with the Goldberg stuff. I read everything AU, but this is the only blog I'm a member of. See how special you are Jay....
ReplyDeleteI'm not going. Wish I could. It's a matter of economics.
ReplyDeleteDaughter is heading to AU next year. Trying to save every nickel
Yeah, just got one out of AU last year and one there now on a full academic scholarship (which is wonderful!) but it's all the extras that spend up all your money! We're taking the kids for the Christmas present.
ReplyDeleteFull academic scholarship? Impressive. Congratulations to them.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe Alabama doesn't have an education lottery. Guvner Riley likes to play the morality card, but with the state having Bingo, dog and horse racing, I don't see the issue. Especially since he didn't mind taking campain donations from gamblin money in Mississippi. College has gotten extremely expensive.
ReplyDeleteJust need to make a 30 or more on ACT and AU will give them a full ride!
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see the comments about Mosley and Trotter. Neither will be at the bowl game, but the evaluations are going on.
ReplyDeleteUAT starts giving scholly money at 25 if I'm not mistaken. They are practically begging for students. Paying for them actually.
ReplyDeleteTROTTER!
ReplyDeleteESPN watches this blog closely? Wow!!! I may have to dress better.
ReplyDeleteOur family schedule won't allow going to Tampa. Nashville would have been perfect for the fam, of course Tampa is much better for AU.
ReplyDeleteThe blonde in Jay's pic of the UT girls was also Bryce Brown's "girlfriend" at one point.
ReplyDeleteSponge ...after contemplating the Tiger quandry that you've posed ....and reaching for some kind of logic ...the only resoning I can come up with is that he thought his activities were more apt to stay hidden with those participants.
ReplyDeleteVideo almost ready.
ReplyDeleteThe blonde looks like the bimbo from American Idol from a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteJay G produces Hi-Def video ... with Matthew Brady's camera.
ReplyDeleteYeah Hoop. Apparently an underground process for all the top notch athletes that will to be involved.
ReplyDeleteyeah FSJ, that photo is all over the interwebs and seems that a lot of folks know of that young lady.
ReplyDeleteThen on second thought, maybe I WOULDN"T take that blond.
ReplyDeleteTiger needs to just put out a number as to how many there have been, then there is nothing more to report. After that the short Ameridan attention spans will forgive through apathy.
ReplyDelete
