Please enjoy: Some of the best drama comes before bowl games
I'd like to see Auburn play Northwestern. I was really into Northwestern's 1994 renaissance, loved watching Pat Fitzgerald play linebacker, would love to interview head coach Pat Fitzgerald.
On the other hand, Wisconsin was popular in the Tate household Wednesday night.
Take 'em OUTBACK!!!
ReplyDeleteSo now whenever someone comes to this thread...there's the Bammer flashin' his 2.
ReplyDeleteAny other HOTTIES who want to sit in the OFFICIAL HABOTN SECTION of the stadium for the OUTBACK BOWL???
ReplyDeleteIf so, send me an email (see my profile for email link)
SO barnhardt thinks Right makes a strong push to get Kirby Smart as the UGA DC. Says Right makes the call Sunday. I think Kirby either went to school there or has coached there.
ReplyDeletemornin' hottness.
ReplyDeletewtc - I thought they were keeping the fired coaches onboard through the bowl game?
ReplyDeleteFrom Wiki:
ReplyDeleteSmart played was a defensive back for the University of Georgia Bulldogs. As a senior, he was a first-team All-SEC pick. He finished his career with 13 interceptions, which is currently fourth on the all-time Georgia ranks. He was also a four-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
Smart began his coaching career with the University of Georgia in 1999, serving one season as an administrative assistant
THT,
ReplyDeleteI'd love to, but the only way I was going to make it to a bowl game is if it was just a day trip and you unfortunately can't make a day trip from Chattanooga to Tampa.
I do not know if they are or not. Ilistened to Barnhardt this AM and says Richt will call and make a big offer. Not hatin' but he says Richt knows that few assts stay more than 3-4 years with Saban and that Richt knows it is about time for some of the staff to leave from over there.
ReplyDeleteIt might not happen, but Barnhardt has been right more often than not.
ReplyDeleteKirby is a marked man.... FSU is going after him as well.
ReplyDeleteJGT - excellent article. Thanks!!!
ReplyDeletemytommyd - I'll let you know how to pay once tickets are actually procured, which should be today.
I just don't see Smart making what is a Lateral Move at best. HC is his next step somewhere.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteWTC- Apparently there was a rift between Smart and Richt in the past, but the hatchet has been burried. Not sure if that will play into it or not.
ReplyDeleteHere are confirmed Hotties in The OFFICIAL HABOTN section of the stadium for the Outback Bowl:
ReplyDeleteAUFan Larry - 4 tickets
THT -3 tickets
diggerforAU -1 ticket
mytommyd - 2 tickets
Sean - 4 tickets, possibly 2 more
Come on, Hotties!!! Sign up now for the Hottest Auburn Section in the Stadium!!!
ok, forget the possibly 2 more.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure some Hotties want to step up to the plate?!?!?
A more likely choice for FSU is the other UA linebacker coach from what I've heard. Suneseri? I may have misspelled it.
ReplyDeleteThanks THT!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the avatar adjustment, Faker.
ReplyDeleteWorks better this way.
ReplyDeleteI'm leaning on an AU match up with Northwestern as well. We have played the Badgers twice, time for a new opponent in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI know nothing of the coaches and any rift they may have had. It would be naive to think no one will take a run at either of those guys. UAT has had a pretty good D for the past few years. Some will leave. Someof these guys might not like the stress that Saban puts on them. If you are not the head guy, I think you can take only so much pressure before you think it is time to move on.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely like to see Northwestern over Wisconsin. That would be more entertaining after witnessing Wisconsin play Auburn twice already this decade.
ReplyDeleteGo Gaytah
ReplyDeleteWTC- Take a look at the UGA Rivals Coaching Hot Board, it gives an interesting run down of their DC Candidates. I do agree with you, I think Kirby Smart is the most likeliest coach. Coaching for Saban is just plain tough. Coaches that must have enjoyed or enjoy working with Saban seem to be Bobby Williams & Muschamp.
ReplyDeletehaving never read a Stephen King novel, I cannot speak to the many turns it may or may not have.
ReplyDeleteLet me try this avatar for my accounts....Somehow they got screwed up.
ReplyDeleteLooks like I'm going to be out of the country for the bowl game.
ReplyDeleteIf I had been here, there could have been a Sugar bowl party at my house. But PF was mistaken, there would have been chips or dip, I can't afford both.
I thought I heard somewhere that the DC position at UAT was just a figurehead and that Saban is the mastermind and true DC. Then again that may have been from a bama fan.
ReplyDeleteMorning All
ReplyDeleteDoesn't Wisconsin have to lose to dreadful Hawaii team for Northwestern to be considered for the Outback Bowl?
ReplyDeleteDon't be fooled, Hotties. Wake not being there doesn't mean there won't be a Sugar Bowl party at his house.
ReplyDeleteExcellent article, Jay. It does appear Auburn has been the big winner here, and I think Malzahn's offense has a lot to do with this. Kentucky and even Tennessee seem to be winners here. I know Tennessee fans are disappointed, but they could have faired worse than the Peach Bowl. Ask Georgia or South Carolina, who I consider the biggest losers here. Arkansas didn't fair that well either. Is the system fair? Probably not, but it worked for Auburn this time, so I am grateful.
ReplyDeleteinsightful
ReplyDeleteTommy,
ReplyDeleteI thought the DC as just a figurehead was when Tubs was HC depending on when Tubs would talk.
:-)
I can't imagine a scenario where the BaFla loser doesn't end up in the Sugar Bowl. It will be interesting to see how many teams end up undefeated though.
ReplyDeleteRK- It was unless they were doing bad, aka Gibbs era.
ReplyDeleteHow does the large number of Auburn alums in the Tampa area factor in to all of this, or does it at all?
ReplyDeletePF: Not too much.
ReplyDeleteOk Hotties, you want an interesting question to ask yourself, here it is. Would you rather see Bama fall to the Capitol One Bowl after losing to Florida on Saturday and having Auburn bumped down, or Bama in the Sugar Bowl with Auburn in the Outback.
ReplyDeleteThere is a 0% chance of that happening, just food for thought. What's your opinion?
Big Snacks- How big is the Auburn contingent in Tampa?
ReplyDeletePF, I don't really know that much about Auburn grads in that area, but selling tickets is definitely the driver here.
ReplyDeleteI think the only way the loser of the game this weekend doesn't make a BSC game, is that it becomes a 'big' win, which is by maybe 18 or more points. The loser may fall behind TCU and BOISE and CInCY.
ReplyDeleteI don't see that happening but just sayin'. Also, I could see it more if UAT is the loser, since they have had close games with LSU and AU lately and UF not so much of a tough game lately.
That is not hatin on UAT (as much as I don't mind it) but just thinking how that scenario could owrk out.
wtc, I was thinking a lopsided SECCG would probably be the only way, too. It just doesn't appear likely. Both teams have solid defenses.
ReplyDeleteNot too far behind B'Ham for third, from what I've been told Eddie. There's a lot of scholarship money coming out of that area.
ReplyDeleteI know after the Auburn/Florida game a couple of years ago that there was a lot of Auburn traffic into the Tampa area, then just gator fans the rest of the way south. It's rare that I drive through Tampa and not see a car or two with Auburn regalia/livery.
ReplyDeleteTickets in THT's section are going from $136-178/each on Stubhub right now.
ReplyDeleteI wanna hear more about Gene's courtship of Mrs. Chizik.
ReplyDeleteJayG says it's a good story.
"regalia/ livery"
ReplyDeleteNice, PF
Tar Heel, the tix were ordered through Auburn around 8:00 this morning. I haven't been in the dept. since 7:00.
ReplyDeleteSo, did anyone answer my question about meeting up somewhere in Tampa to watch UAT hopefully lose in the Sugar Bowl?
ReplyDeleteEddie-Read where AU staff is out working hard this week. Got several coming in for visits in January. Look like Seastrunk has set an official visit date. Many have written him off, but doesn't Luper have some type of connection with his father or another family member?
ReplyDeleteWake, I LOVE your avatar!!
ReplyDeleteWTC- I saw that, I want to say that Luper was very close to his Pastor. I really like Seastrunk more than Lattimore. He has Percy Harvin written all over him. Now saying that, I would be thrilled to have either one of them join Dyer. I'm not that picky.
ReplyDeleteEddie,
ReplyDeleteI believe that Judas Willis enjoys working for Sabear....
Looks like Ken Adams is open to coming back to AU. UTenn wants him to play TE, AU wants him as a DE. He graduates in Decemebr. Would be nice to ge for 2009 class.
ReplyDeleteNot sure he is on anyones list to lure away from UAT.
ReplyDeleteTICKETS SECURED IN SEC 232, THE OFFICIAL HABOTN SECTION for the Outback Bowl!!!
ReplyDeleteI bought 20. That means 6 are still unclaimed. First come first serve. Use my email via my profile if you are interested.
Must get to work. Details later today or tonight.
WARRRRRRRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!
It frightens and confuses me to think of all of the valuable information WTC could offer if he ever bothered to follow recruiting.
ReplyDeleteThe mind wobbles.
THT, you the man.
ReplyDeleteI think you are right about the pastor, Eddie. I was thinking I read that a long time back.
ReplyDeleteGetting either Seastrunk or Lattimere would be huge.
I am still hoping for a couple more big offensive line commitments. I wonder what is going on with Eric Mack.
WTC the only list that Judas Willis is on is court ordered...
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about the New Year's Day Bowl, but this selection has screwed up my post-Christmas plans. Nashville or Memphis or even Atlanta were doable. Tampa? No way.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the same boat SCoates.
ReplyDeleteI could do a day trip to a bowl game, even an overnight stay, but Tampa would require more than that.
From what I know Eric Mack really wants to come to Auburn, but he has one small problem...baby momma dramma.
ReplyDeleteEverything being equal, Mack winds up at AU. Not sure everything is equal though. He has something that is keeping him close to home. AU is working on a way to help with that.
ReplyDeleteHe would be a huge get.
AU also needs to land the two DL from GA.
WTC- Agreed completely with Thornton and Whittaker. That is a top priority right now.
ReplyDeleteBTW- Auburn put up a Stone Mountain bill board about a month ago. Any coincidence with that, as it the home of a recruit we are targeting?
ReplyDeleteWhile Tampa is a nice price, and the season overall went pretty well, the true measuring stick of success will be the class signed this off-season. I think I made myself nervous all over again.
ReplyDeleteprice should be prize
ReplyDeleteyou peeps are wimps. 11 hours does not require more than an overnight stay.
ReplyDeleteIn layman's terms, PF pretty much just called all y'all...well, you know the rest.
ReplyDeleteExactly PF...
ReplyDeleteWho needs sleep?
"You can sleep when you're dead." That's what one of my fraternity brothers always said. He's a little nuts.
ReplyDeleteWe look good to land Whitaker, Ladarious Owens was recruiting him very hard at the Iron Bowl...
ReplyDeleteSeastrunk and Reed have both set their official visit dates for Jan 15-17.
The staff is looking at Ken Adams as a possible January enrollee. Shouldn't affect any other targets, they just want to make sure they get 5 enrollees in January.
Dyer is trying to get things squared away in order to enroll in Jan as well.
Keep the name Darius Robinson on your radar... Clemson commit, giving AU a very hard look. Had a visit from Thigpen this week.
...just from what I have gathered reading on the intranets... twitter feeds, etc.
ReplyDeleteZevon said it better.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compilation, Miller.
ReplyDeleteany news about the other big OL from Olive Branch, I think his name is Damien Robinson???
ReplyDeleteI'm starving. What's for lunch?
ReplyDeleteTurkey and Provolone on Wheat with Honey Mustard, lettuce and tomato. Banana on the side with a Coke Zero to drink.
ReplyDeleteTHT, put away your hunger for just a while longer.
ReplyDelete#88 beckons
"When we heard of the Auburn fans chanting at the end of Fridays game "its great to be an auburn tiger" we knew there was somethign special about the excitement around this football team. The tigers have everything we are looking for in a New Year's Day team. They are a tough, exciting team, extremely well coached and have what might be the best fans in college football"
ReplyDeleteJim McVay, Outback Bowl President/CEO
Personally, if I'm coming from the Noog, I start my drive right after dinner on NYE. Drive through Atlanta, grab a snack in Macon as an excuse to stretch the legs to prevent burnout, stop somewhere for a couple/three hours of shuteye just north or south of Valdosta, depending on how you're feeling (if traveling with a lady ,at one of those cheap, rural best western/motel 6 type places, otherwise Wal-Mart parking lot with the seat laid back- it's safer than a rest area), wake up, get going and pull into Tampa just in time for a bloody mary at someone's tailgate. Stop drinking before the game or during the first quarter, and start heading back north after the game. This time, I'd definitely get a hotel room just south of Macon ($35.99/night!!!!), then get up on the 2nd and have a short trip home and most of the weekend left to recover.
ReplyDeleteBEASLEY!!
ReplyDeleteI got in a hurry and left off the 3rd !
ReplyDeleteI have not heard anything about Damien Robinson since last summer...
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteGot the room for Tampa set. Auburn better be frikkin goin'
ReplyDeleteI got my plane tix last night. Still need to get my hotel and hockey tickets.
ReplyDeletePF - that sounds doable... 30 years ago.
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteyou are not 30 years older than me....are you?
ReplyDeleteGlad to see that in HABOTN lexicon, the super hip nickname for Chattanooga, "the Noog", is making its rounds.
ReplyDeleteThey do actually have a flight from the Noog to Tampa now a days I believe, but not sure on prices and what the schedule would be like for New Years.
i dunno; I was alive and well when AU won AP national championship back in '57.
ReplyDeletehow alive and well?
ReplyDeletewhich was same year Braves won world series and UNC won NCAA basketball. It was a very good year. My only team that failed me that year was the Packers (the Penguins did not yet exist).
ReplyDeleteLove this quote from Trovon Reed... via Jeffrey Lee..
ReplyDelete..from Reed on his AU visit: "Can't wait until I don't have to leave. There is no doubt we are going to win championships at Auburn."
I don't think I made it in time for UNC's win.
ReplyDeleteSo any forecastications from the HOTTIES in relation to the Gator-Infidels game?
ReplyDeletenope...means you wore out before me. I feel like a golden god right now!
ReplyDeleteJet,
ReplyDeleteMy only prognostication involves which way I'm gonna get away with getting both campuses quarantined before they can play the game. Due to the possible legal consequences, I will not be sharing the odds of my predictions.
Just a couple of years ago MrsTHT and I made frequent alternating 1000 mile weekend roundtrips to Auburn and 1500 mile roundtrips to Connecticut and central PA, occasionally with Molly dog. I loved it. They aren't MrsTHT's fondest memories.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to see the Auburn fans get some recognition. Fans make a much bigger impact on a program than most realize, and it becomes even more evident during bowl time.
ReplyDeleteAs for the DL, we do really need a couple of recruits there too. We could really use a stand out defensive tackle. We have okay numbers there this season in comparison to the rest of the defense, but we don't have a Sims or Marks this year. We need a game changing player like that.
How's Molly in the car? Bailey loves traveling. A 6 hour roadtrip is better than going to doggie day care (her favorite place in the world) for her.
ReplyDeleteI predict that Florida will be on its way to a hard earned fourth quarter victory before the Rapture causes Tebow to drop the ball before he can kneel on it, allowing the infidels to run it back for the game winning touchdown, yelling "Go Home Crusader" as they do.
ReplyDeleteDo we have any recruits in central Florida who could possibly end up at the game?
ReplyDeleteJet, I do believe the evil empire wins this one, and a good part of it has to do with how well we played against them. It had to be a wake up call. We were one defensive stop away from devastating the mullet nation.
ReplyDeleteI think the evil empire will be out to prove something. Their running game isn't as good as last season, but as a whole their offense may be as good or better. Florida's isn't as good as it has been. They will miss Percy Harvin.
Going offtopic, but I found this amusing:
ReplyDeleteParnevik, the man who introduced the couple, has since come out saying he owes Nordegren an apology.
“We probably thought he was a better guy than he is,” he told the Golf Channel, referring to his wife and himself. “"I would probably need to apologize to [Elin] and hope she uses a driver next time instead of a 3-iron … It’s a private thing of course, but when you are the guy he is — the world’s best athlete — you should think more before you do stuff ... and maybe not ’just do it,’ like Nike says."
So says Jesper
Jet...
ReplyDeleteI think Bama plays much better Saturday....Will it be enough.. I don't know but we are going to show up.
31-17 FL. Tebow accounts for 3 TD's.....That noise you hear after the game, oh that's just the sound of 100K+ mullets being chopped off at the same time. Shouldn't make stupid bets if you want to keep your hair.
ReplyDeleteJay Leno apparently made the same "just do it" joke last night.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping for Bama to experience moral victories over the effing gators and Boise State.
ReplyDeleteonce again the mullet jokes are not intended for FSJ. Your mullet is too nice to poke fun of. Is that Hawaiian Silky (J-Z fame)?
ReplyDeleteI'm still pretty happy with my Nike Golf stuff.
ReplyDeleteplaymakery.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
Don't know if anyone has posted this:
ReplyDeleteRecruiting rankings
Scott, your link be dead.
ReplyDeletePlaymakery sounds like a Bushism
ReplyDeletePF,
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to traveling I am a wimp. You won't get an argument from me.
A trip from here to Florida needs to be a 4 or 5 day stay and since my wife has to work 12/31 and we both have to be back to work on 1/4 that just won't work.
I'm not old, but I'm also not 21 anymore where I can pick up spend all day in the car on back to back days and not want to kill the world after the trip.
Scott - here's your answer, 'No'. No one else has posted that particular link. Not even Sean the Idiot.
ReplyDeleteI don't see there being a whole lot of points in the game on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteWhoever gets 20 points wins I think. Hopefully that's Florida.
Well, let's just try it the old-fashioned way:
ReplyDeletehttp://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/recruiting/classrankings?classyear=2010&classmonth=12&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fncf%2
Gators 24
ReplyDeleteThe streak restarts next year 17
Marques Colston's alma mater just dropped it's football program. Yes, Long Island sucks.
ReplyDeletePF -Molly sleeps in my lap anytime she's with us on the road.
ReplyDeletecool quote that I totally ripped off from some strange Auburn fan site that I somehow became a fan of on Facebook:
ReplyDelete"When we heard of the Auburn fans chanting at the end of Fridays game "It's great to be an Auburn Tiger" we knew there was something special about the excitement around this football team. The Tigers have everything we are looking for in a New Year's Day team. They are a tough, exciting team, extremely well coached and... ...have what might be the best fans in college football." Jim McVay, Outback Bowl President/CEO
PF - that looks awfully familiar
ReplyDeleteMMA Fight at the Lexington Hotel. Is Eric Smith gonna be featured?
ReplyDeleteWhat MIGHT be the best fans?
ReplyDeleteThere's not might to it, we are the best fans.
THT, How bout that Duke loss last night? I hate that the ACC lost the overall challenge, but a Duke loss is worth it.
ReplyDeleteYeah, THT? Did I ripoff a ripped off quote?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteMTD - not exactly...
ReplyDeletehttp://urbanlegends.about.com/od/business/a/cell_directory.htm
Mr. TD
ReplyDeletemytommyd, I hate to do this to ya:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.snopes.com/politics/business/cell411.asp
HA! Take that tommyd! From all sides.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mytommyd
ReplyDeletemichael,
ReplyDeletemy link is better, cause you can just click on it. BOOM!
Thanks gang. I got it from a usually reliable source that checks that stuff out.
ReplyDeletePF - see D.Miller at 10:42 a.m.
ReplyDeleteM=B - I was really torn on that one. Before I moved back to NC 9 years ago, I always pulled for Puke out of conference. It's much MUCH harder to do so now. It's such a yankee school.
...but I like the way you think. Snopes > about.com!
ReplyDeletesorry, Norm.
PF, I don't believe in linking. Make the lazy blog readers copy and paste. It ain't difficult!
ReplyDeleteTHT,
ReplyDeleted'oh!!....well, as least I credited my source. ha.
Yeah, the about.com one came up first on the search, but I was like, "about.com, imma let you finish, but snopes.com is the best urban legend debunking website OF ALL TIME!"
ReplyDeletePF - no worries. I happen to have links for that particular story/rumor saved because invariably at least twice a year I have a couple of friends ask me about it. They can't seem to remember that they've already asked about it. That's just the first one I copied for today's purposes.
ReplyDeletemike,
ReplyDeletethe problem I have with that mentality, is that many of us HABOTN from our mobile devices. Sometimes, the link doesn't show up completely. Other, it's hard to copy and paste. Linking makes it easier on those people. Plus, it looks better.
...and one can argue that you're the one being lazy by not linking.
absolutely true about the links not always showing up intact. If Michael's smart enough to be King of Eurasia, I'm sure he can master the very simple task of linking. It's a regal sort of thing.
ReplyDeleteI always thought Mike was the Queen of Eurasia.
ReplyDeleteoh wait, I think he's Emperor of Eurasia, he's the queen of HABOTN... and of course, the unrivaled ThighMaster.
ReplyDeleteI have linked before, and I am sure I will link again (like the time just a couple of weeks ago when I linked to a url that contained "sexy_jan_terri" in the address. I just figured that might scare some people off from copying and pasting).
ReplyDeleteAm I lazy? Perhaps. Or maybe I just want you guys to get more wrinkles in your brains by having to copy and paste stuff. It's the same way I run Eurasia. Like just last month, I removed all toilets from houses that have more than 5 bedrooms just to make sure the rich people still know how to dig a hole and poop in it. These are skills we don't need to lose in this day and age.
Anyway, I got my scarlet M for not linking, and I don't plan on starting to do it regularly any time soon.
THE END!
Michael, Go Conquer a New Territory, Go Gators!
ReplyDeleteLame commercial but it works here.
MJT, Captain Boxhead, Queen of HABOTN, King of Eurasia, and Thigh Master = michael
ReplyDeleteStinky - why should the Eurasian rich have to dig holes when they can just poop in a cooler and then deposit it on their nemesis' doorstep by the dark of night?
ReplyDeleteI don't mind digging the pit, but I won't poop in it. I'll go to the local ESE (Extended Stay Eurasia).
ReplyDeleteWhen is the musical coming out that features all those characters, and what will it be called? My first thought was "Lord of the Thighs".
ReplyDeleteBeavers/Ducks or some crappy NFL game tonight?
ReplyDeleteOf course, we know whose music will be featured.
ReplyDeleteDe facto Pac Ten Championship game definitely warrants a watch tonight.
ReplyDeleteShould be fairly entertaining and the antithesis to what will happen in Atlanta on Saturday no doubt.
Civil War for the Rose Bowl...I'm there.
ReplyDeleteJan Terri musical theater?!?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure the world is ready for that
ReplyDeleteCivil War get's my viewership tonight...
ReplyDeleteThat brings up a question.... which team is the South, and which is the Union?
Someone please tell me where the dadgum repair man is to fix my heat...
ReplyDeleteIt's getting cold in here.
They already made a movie loosely based on all my personas. It was called "Backdraft" and starred Kurt Russell.
ReplyDeleteTHT,
ReplyDeleteI have sent you an e-mail but if you still have room, put me down for 3 firm tickets. I hope you still have them. Sounds like fun. It will be me and my 2 sons.
IV
I know you miss me. I know you miss me. I know you miss me blind.
ReplyDeleteLunch was ...
ReplyDeleteFried chicken, black eye peas (w/ chopped onions), Kentucky Wonder Beans, vinegar slaw and biscuit from the Montgomery Farmer's Market Cafe.
THT, we have procured our rooms at MacDill AFB and now working on tickets. I have a request in with scholarship donor now and will let you know if we need any. It's not that I would rather rub elbows with the rich....
ReplyDeleteSlow day in the Gump, Jet?
ReplyDeleteThree tickets left in the The OFFICIAL HABOTN Section for the Outback Bowl. First come first serve.
ReplyDeleteWe have a total of 20 seats, 10 each on two rows. I theoretically can order up to 4 additional seats if someone needs more than the 3 remaining.
Farmer's Market is a standby. Solid, rarely spectacular.
ReplyDeleteI'm packing up here. Flying to San Pelosi in the a.m. for 6 days of conference/meetings.
HABOTN time will be limited. I know you'll miss me. I know you'll miss me. I know you'll miss me blind.
WEGirl - not all scholarship donors are rich. Some just choose AU football over food/clothing/etc.
ReplyDeleteJet- You are not up for re-election yet, time to stay private still :).
ReplyDeleteSo I read on Low's blog where PETA wants Georgia to replace Uga with an electronic dog.
ReplyDeleteSeriously PETA?
Maybe Disney can help UGA with that.
ReplyDeleteSo Peta wants the dog that gets to live the best life ever of any bulldog to not be a mascot. Yeah, that sounds about right for Peta.
I want to go to Tampa for the bowl very badly... I just don't know if I can afford the trip...
ReplyDeletejet...
ReplyDeleteThursday is chicken liver day at the FM Cafe. They are choice.
LUNCH!
ReplyDeleteI knew I forgot to do something!
dmiller...
ReplyDeleteI feel you. It's not even a consideration. Perhaps next year.
Same for me Ehyou & DMiller.
ReplyDeleteLooks like I'm making it to the game!
ReplyDeleteTHT, I may take those three, but if someone gives you a firm commitment before I do, go ahead and sell them. Did they come out to $80 each?
Go ahead and rub it in...
ReplyDeleteI am really liking the looks of this recruiting class. At the end of the summer, I thought it was a bit below average and we would likely get a few good players in and have a class about on par with the past.
ReplyDeletePresently it is looking better than most classes this decade, and it most of the players actual make it to campus, this could easily be the best.
Scott Choco -that will be about right. I don't have an invoice yet.
ReplyDeleteD.Miller - don't worry, I haven't been to a bowl game in Florida since AU was in the Gator Bowl.
ReplyDeleteOh I forgot to add
ReplyDeleteGO GATORS!
Only bowl game I have ever been able to attend was the Music City when we played Wiscy a few years back....
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to a bowl game in Florida sinse Auburn was in the Tangerine :-(
ReplyDeleteOof, bad timing on my post. Happy I'm going, but wish that all Hotties who want to go could make it as well.
ReplyDeleteTHT ... Don't know how many or if you have any left but instead of 4 I would like a total of 6 tickets. If they are all gone please let me know.
ReplyDeleteWEGirl we will be staying at the FAMCAMP at Macdill there are 3 motorhomes of us ... come if you like ... look for the flags flyin'!
I've been told that I was at the Auburn-Boston College game, but I can't confirm it.
ReplyDeleteIt's bout time to flip it...
ReplyDeleteNorm? Wherefore art thou, Norm?
ReplyDeleteI will fill in for Norm.
ReplyDeleteNow...
ReplyDeleteNew Page
ReplyDeleteWe're kinda like Cincinnati with the two QBs. We've got two page flippers.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sean. Stupid con-calls.
ReplyDeleteGlad to help.
ReplyDelete
