Hey everyone. We have learned via Twitter that starting guard Byron Isom believes he has strained a patella tendon and, at least for now, is out of commission. The junior underwent imaging scans this morning.
I'll update as information becomes available.
Cam for Pres!
ReplyDeletehello.......
ReplyDeletelonely in here...
ReplyDeleteWould love to see this in an AU uni:

Auburn better make sure they know what up with Cam before they offer him.
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't exactly a saint at UF.
I agree Jay. The Chiz has put his foot down, and if he thinks the guy is worthy of a scholly offer, I have to believe him. The tale of the tape is might tasty though: 6'6, 250, 4.5 doesn't come along at QB very often!
ReplyDeletethreads multiplying like rabbits
ReplyDeletemy car is buried in snow.
With that said, I really hope the Chiz thinks Cam is worthy!!! Having that type of athlete, with the experience he has, would bring me a much easier feeling about the QB situation.
ReplyDeletedon't rub it in THT...don't rub it in! I rented a huge cabin for myself and some friends last weekend in Gatlinburg...really wished for some snow. Well, I come home Tuesday, and now, 3 days later, the mountain up there is COVERED IN SNOW with a forecast for at least 4" to come! PISSED!
ReplyDeleteok, maybe buried was a bit strong. How 'bout covered with snow. We're talking at least a half inch. I may have to call AAA.
ReplyDeletehalf inch would lock down GA! That is "covered" for us.
ReplyDeleteSnow in the mountains + high tide at 5pm in Charleston = massive flooding. Great start to the weekend.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope CN has straightened up his act, but I have to assume that the coaching staff has done their due dilligence and made it VERY clear that he'll be on a very short leash. JW, you're right that the tale of the tape is pretty sweet.
and when I say "snow in the mountains", I mean it's 40 degrees and raining like crazy here.
ReplyDeleteHey, I currently have a hurt patella tendon currently. Twinkies!
ReplyDeleteCurrently.
ReplyDeleteJGT - Michael twinkled a hurt patellar tendon. Time for a new thread?
ReplyDeletetime for me to direct full attention to leaving this workplace in the next 30 minutes or so. Then I've got to find Stamey's Barbecue and take some home for supper. It's supposed to be Greensboro's best.
ReplyDeleteLater, Hotties!!!
I really do like the idea of Auburn getting someone like Cam Newton if the charges were true, but I am also confident that if he shows up and screws up Chizik would have no trouble booting him quick, so hopefully it will work out good regardless.
ReplyDeletedo should be don't, but hopefully it works out for good no matter what happens.
ReplyDeleteHappy Puppet Hotties!
ReplyDeleteIt's been steadily snowing in Florence, Italy for the 3.5 hours. I'd say we've already gotten an inch and a half. SO enjoy your half inch, THT.
I hate snow... hate it. More than shootouts. I am going to visit a friend over Christmas, and its snowing there right now. Not excited about this whole white Christmas business.
ReplyDeleteHey 2.0,
ReplyDeleteGood to hear from you again. THT says that I will be sitting right behind you at the OB Bowl. I hope that I am man enough to handle that. Can't wait to meet you and the other HOTTIES that will be there. No snow in P'ville, ASL.

ReplyDeleteI look forward to meet you IV!
ReplyDeleteCiao HABTON, i'm going out to play in the snow.
After a delightful lunch at The King, I will be celebrating an anniversary dinner one evening late at The City Grill. Baked halibut or the filet? Ah, decisions.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope that Isom is okay.
ReplyDeleteI am starving... Jet, will you bring me a cheeseburger from the King?
ReplyDeleteLook for AU to have a new QB in the fold before the weekend is over.
ReplyDeleteLook for AU to have a current QB out of the fold before spring drills.
I just heard Eric Smith is academically ineligibble.
ReplyDeleteJeez, SteveFC.
ReplyDeleteA strained patella tendon doesn't sound like a long term thing. Does anyone know much about that type of injury?
ReplyDeleteSorry Jay
