  3. Gotcha...but I think you are watching me with your bad eye!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Don't say this often...and it hurts to do so...but...GO GAYTORS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Florida is wearing those new helmets again. I am surprised.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Whatever helps you sleep at night Eddie-boy.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I really like the new helmets for Florida...but i'm surprised they are wearing them.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I really hate the new helmets, then again I hate everything about Florida so thats not surprising.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I am consumed by hate

    ReplyDelete
  10. SEC Championship being held at a place where one of the teams plays the home game is not fair, period.

    ReplyDelete
  11. 1. Watch it Jay, there's a meteorite scheduled to hit the Dome tonight...pretty much the perfect outcome to that game. Or maybe an 18 OT 0-0 tie.

    2. Agony: 1. Having to personally sit through tonight's SEC championship. 2. The way Pitt's feeling after letting Cincy blow back into the game and to lose by a botched extra point.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Ok, who looks younger...Gene Stallings or Steve Spurrier?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hey! That Bammer stole JGT's hat!

    ReplyDelete
  14. So Dunlap got arrested on a DUR Charge according to Lundquist :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. I like the new White F helmets....

    Go Gators!

    ReplyDelete
  16. just please never let Nike touch our unis!!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. If this game is half as good as the Cincy/Pitt game was, we're in for a treat today.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Nike could come up with some interesting ideas for our unis, I'm sure of it...

    ---->

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hey, I would love for Under Armour to do something similar with our Uni's

    ReplyDelete
  20. I really like the blue AU helmet prototype too...

    ReplyDelete
  21. Defer and win... 99% of the time...

    Get 'em Gators!

    ReplyDelete
  22. so i am fresh from the hospital having my gall bladder removed. I feel like a mule kicked me in the ribs. I think uf's new uni's are tight.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Good healing to you Bin.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Welcome back, B.

    Alabama scores first: 48-yard FG.

    Ala 3, Fla 0.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Welcome back, Bin... here's hoping for a speedy recovery!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Binoba- Mom had that surgery yesterday. Very sore today.

    ReplyDelete
  27. what the hell is a licensed blogger..

you need to have a license to have an opinion...???

JGT I, the leader of the 3rd world, give you permission to blog

    ReplyDelete
  28. thanks, all i need now is for UF to run the kickoff back, man there's some necks at the game...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Bin - isn't that akin to saying 'water is wet'?

    ReplyDelete
  30. okay, retracted statement RE: Nike...that orange helmet with tiger stripes is BAD A$$!!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I like it too...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Gosh, I hate UA-T. If they start getting stomped, let me know. Otherwise, I'll be watching teams I don't hate.

Montana up 48-0 and they're only middle of 3rd qtr. Happy Appy vs Richmond winner tonight will have to travel to Missoula next week. Brrrrrrr

    ReplyDelete
  33. oscar meyer looks stressed

    ReplyDelete
  34. Villanova stomping New Hampshire into the snow, 24-0 early in 2nd qtr. And there's still snow all over the camera lens.

    ReplyDelete
  35. And in step the refs to help out...

    ReplyDelete
  36. I hate these guys.

    ReplyDelete
  37. That applies to everyone inside the Ga Dome.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Should be placed short...

    ReplyDelete
  39. flahduh is imploding, wonder if they can weather the storm and get it goin?? How stupid is it NOT to have a camera on the goal line? cbs suxes.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Difference in the game perhaps.

    ReplyDelete
  41. ouch, leigh ann tiffin shanks it....

    ReplyDelete
  42. oooh.... missed XP... I wonder if that could come back to bite them? Let's hope so.

    ReplyDelete
  43. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  44. If Fla don't start playing it won't make any difference

    ReplyDelete
  45. Ingram scores on a 7-yard run.

Kiffin misses the pat, hits the right post. Bummer for him.

    Ala 9, Fla 0.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Why would you not set up a camera looking straight down the goaline? Doesn't make sense to me.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I keep switching who I pull for, this is the only possible match up where I would pull for either team... it just seems so wrong to pull for either of them.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Tebow's eye black Scripture of the game...
    John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Florida guy kicked a field goal.

    Ala 9, Fla 3.

Pretty interesting game. Alabama's defense is really, really good.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I hate to say this, but Bama's D looks as suffocating tonight as it did vs. us. Other than the long plays, we didn't really do anything vs. them. We never had a sustained drive. The Gaytors are gonna have to do the same thing to win--hit it big a few times.

I just don't know if they have the home run hitters a la Harvin that they've had in the past...???

    ReplyDelete
  51. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I was posting my comment the same time you were Jay G. I don't think anyone can argue against the fact that Bama's D is one of, if not the best in the nation.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Wow, this game may actually live up to the hype, almost.

What I've seen thus far has been pretty good.

    ReplyDelete
  54. How do you let the punter take you down... c'mon!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Can CBS do what FSU did to Bowden and sort of nudge Verne out the door? This is getting sad.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Anonymous4:04 PM

Great ....UF stopped SPUAT ...I hate SPUAT.

Now we need SPUAT to stop UF ....because I hate UF also.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Anonymous4:05 PM

During his day, I oved Pat Sumerall. Problem was ...CBS kept him too long also.

Brent Mascara has been able to do the best while aged.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Verne Lundquist is terrible. He needs to be pushed just like Bobby Bowden was.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Dang, being from his hometown I knew Richardson was tough, but that was a bigtime run.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Florida is all out of position on defense...

    ReplyDelete
  61. Anonymous4:14 PM

Just curious ...it seems that almost every announcer gets slammed by one fan or another.

What announcers do all the fans like? If any.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Florida looks bad. Their defense looks to be all hype at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Anonymous4:16 PM

TRichardson will probably be better than Ingram in a year or 2. He is a true Fr.

    ReplyDelete
  64. We know Bama's offense isn't anything special... FU's defense is just looking bad right now...

Charlie Strong may have his mind elsewhere at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Florida's defense looks confused and out of position. And where is the pressure on the QB?

    ReplyDelete
  66. Hoopie- If announcers cannot call plays correctly or get the players names correct, then they need to move on IMO. Verne has made several errors already today. He called a sack a fumble / Incomplete pass. He has gotten players names wrong several times.

    I've never really like Verne.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Was that not a block in the back? and a hold on the OT?

    ReplyDelete
  68. That should have been a block int he back on Ingram.

    ReplyDelete
  69. chomp- thought the same thing

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hoopie -

I like the ones that just call the game and make me not notice them.

Tebow runs for three yards and Vernce is basically giving me a "HHEEEYYYYOOOOOOO."

I've never had a problem with Verne till this year. I watch the old 04 UGA vs. Auburn game and he was seriously on his game. You honestly can't say he's not a shell of his former self at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Hoopie - Ron FRanklin or the ESPN gay dude.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Alabama struggling to finish drives, no? And McElroy isn't throwing much now.

    Still, Kiffin hit a FG.

    Ala 12, Fla 3

    ReplyDelete
  73. I want an announcer to announce the game and get the names right... not insert himself into the game.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Jay, if you could mention to one of the people working at the Dome...i'm a Falcons season ticket holder and tomorrow is the game where Vick returns to Atlanta.

Mabye remind them to pump out the port-o-potties this year. Every time there's been a Saturday even at the Dome, they've been great at changing over the field and everything but for the Falcons fans...we could live without frozen/full toilets in the parking lots this year.

    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Part of the problem is that coverage of the game has improved a lot (despite the lack of a goalline camera earlier).

Notice how quickly the producers are putting together these little highlight packages that aid in the in-game analysis. That simply wasn't possible just a few years ago.

Sticking with the old-school announcers is fine so long as they keep their chops up. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case with ol' Verne.

    ReplyDelete
  76. That was a classic Tebow-era drive.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Ok, Tebow has woken up.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Tebow nice throw to David Nelson for 23 yards. Touchdown.

    Ala 12, Fla 10

    ReplyDelete
  79. Bellefay, I'll speak to the head coach about that.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Florida will trade FGs for TDs all day....

Now that Tebow and the offense has woken up... I wonder if Charlie Strong will get his mind off his new job and back onto this game or not?

    ReplyDelete
  81. Ohh...if Alabama loses, do you think they'll make "Back to back undefeated regular season national champion" t-shirts?

    ReplyDelete
  82. BEASLEY!!! beat bama 3 out of 4!!!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I saw 2 missed holding calls

    ReplyDelete
  84. key block on that play was the one in the back

    ReplyDelete
  85. How bad did 84 block 25 in the back on that play???

    ReplyDelete
  86. Alabama scores on a short run by Ingram.

    Ala 19, Fla 10

    ReplyDelete
  87. Wasn't there like 3 block in the backs there?

    ReplyDelete
  88. Considering that these are supposed to be the two best defenses in all of college football, there's an awful lot of offense going on in this game.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Wow.... on the replay you can see just how many calls the refs missed... 2 holding calls and 2 blocks in the back...

    whatever it takes, right?
Nah... no issue with SEC offices being in bammerham

    ReplyDelete
  90. there's an awful lot of block in the backs and handfulls of jersey that is hard to see from field level, you know 8 yards away.

    ReplyDelete
  91. riley cooper has some nice feathering going on.

    ReplyDelete
  92. hard to see.... if you aren't looking... or looking the other way.
SEC refs are the absolute worst out there...

    ReplyDelete
  93. LOL, Verne just stole my riff.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Dang, counting today UF's only trailed at halftime 8 times in the last 5 years?

    That's pretty impressive, if accurate.

    ReplyDelete
  95. USC and AZ is tied at 14 after 3 qtrs

    ReplyDelete
  96. Halftime.

    Ala 19, Fla 13.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Basketball question for you HOTTIEs still online: what would you think if AU replaced Lebo with this guy?

    ReplyDelete
  98. tony barnhardt is all over Ingrams jock.

    ReplyDelete
  99. ABC announcer during USC punt "Great punt" (there was no sarcasm). The punt was fair caught for a net of 33 yards.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Wow... Jeff Luc #1 LB recruit in the country just committed to F$U...

That is the 3rd big commit they have gotten since Diddy announced his forced retirement.... and they don't even have a defensive coaching staff.... How much $ is flying around down there?

    ReplyDelete
  101. Freep.... No thanks... AU can do better. AU needs a guy willing to sell the program to others, BG isn't into that kind of thing.

THT... The announcer was referring to the hangtime, allowing the coverage to get down to cover it... in that respect, it was a good punt.

The ABC crew is much better than the CBS crew... not even close!

    ReplyDelete
  102. That's a bad stat... AZ has not crossed mid field in their last SIX possessions.

    ReplyDelete
  103. My best AU buddy up in Ioway recommends we dump Lebo and hire Ben Jacobson.

He's good, he's young, he's been in Dance, and he's 1-0 vs. Lebo.

    ReplyDelete
  104. USC 17 AZ 14 about 8 minutes or so

    ReplyDelete
  105. FSJ,

Late on the bourbon discussion. Buffalo Trace does some good stuff, but unless you have their George T. Stagg, I think it's a Four Roses day.

    ReplyDelete
  106. man, that's BS...they get their feet tangled up together and they call UF for a PF...

    ReplyDelete
  107. Florida's defense can't be lost without Dunlap, can they? I agree, Strong is trying to figure out how his living room furniture's gonna look in his new house.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Bammer is going to win going away...UF just doesn't have it this year.

    ReplyDelete
  109. no longer cheering for the gators, it's not worth it... looks like Bama's got it and it's up to Texas....

    ReplyDelete
  110. Florida has to have 7 on this drive or this game is over, IMHO.

    ReplyDelete
  111. I tell you what, it just seems like UF has ZERO speed on Offense...no playmakers other than Tebow.

    ReplyDelete
  112. 3:14 to go. AZ TD puts them ahead 21-17

    ReplyDelete
  113. don't underestimate the tbeau yall.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I can't believe y'all are watching "those people" win. I hate them waaaaaaaaaaay to much to see that. Plus I don't want to puke all over my HDTV

    ReplyDelete
  115. Gotta make that catch in this game.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Florida's playcalling is awful

    ReplyDelete
  117. there is no way florida wins this game.

    ReplyDelete
  118. their punter is awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  119. USC down 4 with 3 minutes and zero timeouts remaining.

I just can't see how they're still in the Top 20. They've looked TERRIBLE this year!

    ReplyDelete
  120. Gonna have to change all those "22 and 12" bumper stickers.

    ReplyDelete
  121. UF's defense has carried them all year...the Bama offense has found a spark and is making them look silly. UF is making Auburn look like a heckuva team right now.

    ReplyDelete
  122. AZ has ball with 2:20 to go on USC 15. USC has no timeouts

    ReplyDelete
  123. Tebow was looking at Emmit like "I'm supposed to be a nice guy, so I have to pretend I care what you say"

    ReplyDelete
  124. what happened THT??? I had flipped it over to the SEC game...

    ReplyDelete
  125. If there was going to be a flag, it would have had to be on Julio... he was pushing off...

    ReplyDelete
  126. Charlie is upset? I didn't realize he was even paying attention to the game.... certainly hasn't seemed so.

    ReplyDelete
  127. USC will finish in SIXTH place in the conference if AZ can close it out. AZ has 3rd & 10 with 51 sec to go.

    ReplyDelete
  128. USC loses here and they're looking at the Poinsetta Bowl. Think they'll be the first ever ranked team going into the Poinsetta Bowl? Seriously voters, what the h&ll have you been watching all year???

    ReplyDelete
  129. That'll teach Florida to have ugly uniforms. I blame this loss on the uniforms.

    ReplyDelete
  130. fitting end to USC's regular season...they didn't even get the dang pass off. Terrible...

    ReplyDelete
  131. USC will still be ranked in the top 20 next week...

    ReplyDelete
  132. Since when is McElroy a Rhodes Scholar?

    ReplyDelete
  133. Florida has forgotten how to tackle...

    ReplyDelete
  134. Ingram never had a hip pointer... there's no way you recover from a hip pointer in a week...

    ReplyDelete
  135. What's ole Tebow thinking about needing to score 3 TDs in the 4th quarter on a Nick Saban defense?

    ReplyDelete
  136. I feel like I'm watching the '99 Championship all over again.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Tebow's wishing that his defense would have showed up today...

    ReplyDelete
  138. epitome of the game there...4 or 5 guys have a good shot at the QB and can't make the tackle...where is UF's D?

    ReplyDelete
  139. Wow... florida's defense is making McElroy look like Steve Young...

    ReplyDelete
  140. They are passed out in a car Jay

    ReplyDelete
  141. And that's pretty much your ballgame.

    ReplyDelete
  142. D. Miller, I said the exact same thing at the beginning of the game about Ingram.

I'm convinced that the SEC wanted this rematch in the SECCG and they did everything they could to make it happen. I'm also convinced that UAT is their "chosen" team this year and that's why there have been very few penalties called on them even though they have been committing them the whole game.

    I HATE UAT!!!

    ReplyDelete
  143. UF defense sez...thank you sir, may I have another?

    ReplyDelete
  144. on your toes there wakerider...funny comment!

    ReplyDelete
  145. So, Florida's defense is asleep at the wheel tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Has Ingram ran his way back into the Heisman?

    ReplyDelete
  147. Ingram caps a 17-play drive with a short plunge.

    2-pt conversion failed.

    Ala 32, Fla 13.

Alabama has run 56 plays and has gained 413 yards.

    ReplyDelete
  148. I really thought at halftime UF was going to make a game of it.

    ReplyDelete
  149. I guess our only hope now is Texas

    ReplyDelete
  150. I'll take our loss to UAT over this embarrassing display by Florida any day. They are barely putting up a fight...

    ReplyDelete
  151. LUV, the SEC would want the best team to win tonight, giving them the best chance a the MNC. I could believe the conspiracy on keeping these two undefeated, but I don't think there is any conspiracy at play tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  152. If you pick Bama for the Heisman I will never come to your blog again! Colt McCoy big!!!

    ReplyDelete
  153. Anna, I'm with you on that one.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Tebow isn't going to beat anyone throwing the ball.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Wake, then these officials are blind.

    ReplyDelete
  156. there's your ballgame boys...

    ReplyDelete
  157. that's a throw...I'm sorry...not a homer or anything either, that's a plain throw.

    ReplyDelete
  158. that is definitely a throw. Florida is going to lose, but that was a throw.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Risk, thanks for making your first post in months.

    Your threat doesn't affect me.

    ReplyDelete
  160. I wish this blog accepted my insane amount of profanity I speak in during alabama games. I could really tell you how much I hate them and everyone associated with them.

    ReplyDelete
  161. I'm chatting via Facebook with an old friend who's a lifelong Bama fan. I told her about Tebow's Bible verse on his eyeblack.

She said she liked 1 Corinthians 15:57: "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

    ReplyDelete
  162. Ingram has the benefit of the best offensive line in the country. I think it's McCoy all the way, but I'm no expert by an stretch of the imagination.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I countered with John 11:35:

    Jesus wept.

    She replied, "He's about to."

    ReplyDelete
  164. 2nd life...2 great plays in a row by Tebow...

    ReplyDelete
  165. McCoy gets my pick... speaking of picks...

    ReplyDelete
  166. boom goes the dynamite.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Who's the favorite in a Texas vs. Bama matchup?

    ReplyDelete
  168. unfortunately... bama would be favored over Texas... Texas doesn't play defense well enough.

I think TCU would put up a better fight.

    ReplyDelete
  169. No cussing, please.

    Family blog.

I say Alabama will be a 4-point favorite against Texas.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Muschamp going against Saban.......if TX beats Nebraska.

    ReplyDelete
  171. I'd guess Bama by 7 or more.

I don't see Muschamp being any more able to stop them than Charlie Strong.

Of course neither of them is Ted Roof.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Bama vs Texas. I think I have a legit connection to UT as my favorite NFL team has 3 legit players from UT. Yeah, I'll go with that. :)

    ReplyDelete
  173. I may have to move back to PA. As hard as it has been to deal with the bamrs since I moved here in '99, they are going to be impossible to deal with if they win the NC. UGH.

    ReplyDelete
  174. I know what you mean Luv, but unfortunately I have no where to move.

    ReplyDelete
  175. I picked a dandy time to move to bammerham... It's going to be insufferable...

    ReplyDelete
  176. Of course, I'd have to move in with my parents and I haven't lived with them in almost 20 years...

    ReplyDelete
  177. Might be worth is, Luv...

    ReplyDelete
  178. Oh, come on. They've been insufferable for 50 years, regardless of how they do in football.

We just won't have a good argument against them for awhile, that's all.

    ReplyDelete
  179. D. Miller, I'm right there with ya. We actually live about 10 mins from each other. In the almost 11 years that I have lived here, I have never seen so many UAT car flags flying as I have this year.

    ReplyDelete
  180. My partner is downstairs reading a comment aloud on rivals and she is laughing so hard she's crying and can barely read it. She kept reading the first words, "Dear 6lb 8oz Baby Jesus..." and then she loses it.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Okay, lets all take a moment of silence and give thanks to Tebow.

    ReplyDelete
  182. Where's Norm when we REALLY need his firm hand on the tiller?

    ReplyDelete
  183. Skip Holthhhh to Notre Dame.

    ReplyDelete
  184. Charlie Strong to Louisville.... Meyer to ND?

    ReplyDelete
  185. Penalty on D. Miller for unintentional flipping. 15 yards.

    ReplyDelete
