Your Daily Fix, 12/13

Hey everyone. Auburn is in the midst of practicing under the lights right now, holding its second bowl practice in the mist. I have provided photographic evidence above.

I'm planning a review of what everyone has to say ... once they say it.

I'm also aiming for a video.

Practice started at 5 p.m.

  1. Jay, I am interested to find out what will happen with Kodi Burns. Do you see him playing the same roll next season?

I think Caudle would be a decent QB, but I would rather not go with another 1 year starter if any of the others are close.

I don't think missing a few practices will hurt Rollison. What hurts him is if the coaches feel he's likely to screw up again. You can't have a starting QB who is likely to get himself suspended.

  3. Yes, I see Burns filling the same role next season.

  4. Judging by Jerry Jones' reaction when San Diego scored that last touchdown, I'd say that Wade Phillips' tenure as the Cowboys HC will be over sooner rather than later.

  5. Do you think Burns will learn how to throw in the off season?

  6. if Tyrik is doing well next year I would think he is the better wildcat...

  7. You guys have to see this video. I don't know if it is 100% accurate, but I have seen similar things in the past. Bammers 12 MNC's are a joke and they know it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAbBwfDr6_s&feature=related

  8. I wonder how often a post goes an hour without hitting 10 posts.

  9. Kodi's roll may be more important because of his leadership. It is hard to gauge how much that contributes. From the reaction of the players to his injury, I think Etheridge has the same thing. I just think there will be players that are better suited as the wildcat, including Rollison. Actually, Tebow started out with a similar roll at Florida. As for not wanting a 1 years starter, I understand that, but there is also something to be said for the experience of a fifth year senior. I am sure Malzahn will make the right choice, although I don't know what it would be.

I need to make it better! MORE TROOPER.

  11. Jay what do you see as being the biggest change (for the good) with next years team

  12. Hi Hotties. Haven't been able to post a lot, but still lurking. How is everyone and are you ready for Christmas. Don't everyone answer at once now...

  13. The season finales of Dexter and Californication are about to come on. For you fans, don't miss it.

  14. Did somebody say Christmas?

Is it time to start shopping already?

  15. FSJ.. Looks like I will owe you a few bucks. UAT hasn't been fingered yet by NCAA, at least not that we know of. I still maintain that it will happen, but our bet was by the end of the year. What was it, $20 or $25. Grats on Ingram. He earned it as much as anyone this year.

  16. One of the things that happened this season that I didn't see coming was the emergence of Darvin Adams. I am hoping to see some else make the same kind of splash this next season.

  17. Yep. Good ole Christmas. A great time of year. A couple of years ago, I actually started a Christmas savings account. Seems so logical, but I never did it until a few years ago. Best decision you can make. Not going in debt buying Christmas presents ever again.

  18. My new thing this Christmas was that I bought all my presents online, no shopping in stores. It was wonderful.

  19. Adams was a suprise. I think Benton or Blake will be next. What was the final result on Travante Stallworth. Did he have to have surgery?

  20. FC, I did a little online and a little in stores. GEt this. Just upgraded a cell phone for my son at t-mobile. Didn't really shop around since all T-Mobile stores are the same, right. Wrong. Authorized dealers can really have some better deals. My upgrade with phone was going to be $100 after $50 rebate. I returned the phone and then got the same phone at Cosco T-mobile dealer for nothing...

  21. Looking at the roster next year, we have three cornerbacks. Thorpe, Demond Washington, and DeAntoin Hood. Anyone besides me see a problem?

  22. Will Savage be back? Also, if Etheridge doesn't make it back, we will definitely have issues.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Savage may be back, but recovering from a torn achilles is tough, so I don't think he will have the speed. May move back to safety. If he return, as will Mike McNeal, and with Bates back, maybe Drew Cole. We should be a lot better at Safety. Throw in a freshman or two and we will be fine.

  24. Forgot Ethridge if he recovers.

  25. At D-end, we will have Hot Carter back, and Goggins. Dee Ford will be back and probably much stronger/bigger. Don't forget Cameron Henderson. He was held out this year due to diciplin I think. Maybe he will be ok. Add a JC player and recruits, we should be ok there too I think. No dominating guys however.

  26. How about Eguae (spelling)? He should also be in the mix. If he hadn't gotten injured, I was under the impression we would have seen a lot of him this season.
