  3. If AU was in this game, how many of you would fork out about $2,500 per person to go to Pasadena and watch the game knowing it would easily run you about $4,000 per for the entire trip.

    ReplyDelete
  4. JayG-Is tim gayle blogging from Pasadena tonight?

    ReplyDelete
  5. the only #1 for FSJ tonight, I'm afraid.

BTW, that first Texan looks pretty weathered.

WTC - My TV and new sound bar make it easier to save the $4G's

    ReplyDelete
  9. I'd consider it seriously, wtc. Not being in that situation, I haven't run the numbers to see if it's justifiable.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I would go and it's much more costly from Korea..

    I hate ABC...

And do not even get me started on Brent Muff-burger

    And lastly, remember,

Beauty is only a light switch away.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I would certainly be there.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I'd really like Jay G to do a Ustream during this game.

    ReplyDelete
  14. OK, I worked on this post long enough, not going to have it left behind on the previous thread:

So tonight's football game is officially called the "Citi BCS Championship". Think of it, one of this nation's most corrupt, ethically bankrupt organizations, which by all rights should have been allowed to fail due to its own administrative incompetence, has gotten themselves involved in the BCS Championship game.

And they even got Citibank to sponsor it.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I think Bag may be blogging from Pasadena. Not Gayle.

I'm working on my final AP ballot. Had to put the Iowans at 7.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I would certainly want to. Hopefully it will happen when the MNC is in Miami again. That will be more affordable for me.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Cows are parachuting on the field!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  36. JGT, are you committed to the idea that tonight's participants finish 1-2? Or does it depend on how close the game ends up being?

I'm thinking Florida might get a lot of support for #2 if Bama wins convincingly. Which is what is likely to happen, I'm afraid.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  48. Boise State: only second team to ever go 14-0, more wins in the past decade than any other team (112), non-conference wins include the Pac-10 Champ and number 4 team in the nation/MWC Champ, and and can't get Jay G to rank them any higher than 3rd...wanna talk about the Rodney Dangerfield of college football, that's it right there, folks. Iowans got off easy.

    ReplyDelete

  105. I just said I feel kind of bad not pulling for the SEC. My hubby looked at me and said "you're crazy, I hate Alabama's stinking guts! It goes all the way back to my childhood."

    ReplyDelete
  106. come on Colt...get back in there.

    ReplyDelete
  107. CincyT...

Your husband is a great man.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Well Auburn's fake punt vs Ball State is no longer the dumbest play call of the year, it's been beaten twice already in this game.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Yeah, I know. I'm hating, too, just feeling guilty about it.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Cincy- I don't feel one ounce of guilt about that. I'm donning my Texas shirt and pulling them horns on.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Front page Texans for the most part pretty good eye candy

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  116. How great would it be if this Gilbert character beats Bama.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I wish they would show what happened. I saw nothing on the play about Colt getting hurt.

    ReplyDelete
  118. My friend's son who is at the Air Force Academy just called and asked me who I was pulling for. I told him I was a huge Texas fan, hook em horns. He said he was watching the game with an Ole Miss fan and the OM fan was sure I wouldn't pull against the SEC. My friend said you don't know Mrs. Chandler, she would pull for Attilla the Hun against Alabama! Good boy!

    ReplyDelete
  119. Anonymous7:52 PM

    McClain- Cheap Shot artist?

I have never been, but I have heard Austin has the hottest students of the female variety.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  127. Anonymous7:55 PM

    Ouch.

I have been to Austin, I want to go back. Nuff said!

    ReplyDelete
  128. Coach Jet would have run again on 3rd down ... pass was way too predictable.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Alabama's # 3 was lined up offsides on that first 1st and goal and the refs caught 2 other penalties besides that one.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Hit him in the back of the right shoulder ... could that be a collarbone problem?

    ReplyDelete
  146. They need McCoy while bammer is playing "give up the ball"

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  156. well, the Bama D is alive...bet those guys will be cussing every offensive/skill player UAT has if they screw up again though...

    ReplyDelete
  157. Colt McCoy has to be in the game for Texas to win. I'm afraid he won't be.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Anonymous8:01 PM

Dear texas-not being up 14-0 right now may haunt you. I hope it does not, but it may.
    Sincerely,
    Momentum

    ReplyDelete
  159. I like & respect FSJ, but nowhere near as much as I hate UA-T.

    ReplyDelete
  160. It's up to Muschamp's Defense

    ReplyDelete
  161. Eddie, can't you make a call?

  169. News flash: McElroy still sucks

    ReplyDelete
  170. If Texas somehow wins, they'll have to give Boom a $1 million raise.

    ReplyDelete
  171. didn't Bama's RB win the Heisman or did I miss something?

    ReplyDelete
  172. Anonymous8:04 PM

Ol' Boom's got Lil' nicky figgered out so far.

    ReplyDelete
  173. wow...running it works huh?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  175. Is that Brodie at QB?

    ReplyDelete
  176. Three sacks already?!?!?

    ReplyDelete
