Setting the table

Hey everyone. I am headed up to Auburn momentarily in a search for the team's weekend visitors. These Sunday reports were a big hit with the HOTTIES way back in 2009, so we must stick with it.

Good begats good. Or something like that.

Here's a little story I wrote for today's editions: D-Linemen focus of Tigers' weekend

I'll provide updates as they become available. We should have something to report by 10 a.m.

  3. yep, big hit indeed! Thanks, JGT, cause I know stalking 18 year olds is not your favorite part of the job.

  4. JGT sounds like a great idea if it was good last year it should be even better this year.
Looking forward to your words of crootin.

  6. Thank you JGT for being on the spot reporter! We do indeed enjoy the tidbits you get from the young men.

    I miss football!

  7. THT, I've tried for 25 years to change him. I even had him down to Auburn for a couple of games. He hated Shula as a player, so he really hated him as a coach. Then Saban happened. He's back on their band wagon. He did say he had to get the championship shirts now because it will probably be a while before it happens again, so he's not too delusional.

  8. Good for him on the delusional thing. A house divided can stand but just keep him in-line so he doesn't get too deep in RED.

  9. Just remember, Kathy, evil companions corrupt good morals.

  11. I know Jet. I pray A LOT! Sometimes his comments make me want to lose my religion, but I refrain.

Good article JGT. I had heard that about Dixon. When was the last time Auburn said no to a 5 star?

  12. Good reading in the MA this morning, Jay. I thought the write up on the AU-KY game was great - wish it had had a different ending. Will have to catch up with all the recruiting news after church!

You hotties have a great morning!

  13. Just looked at the pic of Lattimore with Spurrier. Any word out of USCe? I know its one picture but he(Latt) looks uncomfortable.

  14. Lattimore took an official during the Ole Miss game, so it's been a while since he's been in Auburn. Wonder what the woman is asking him in that picture. He looked confused.

Wish he would come to Auburn.

  15. Me too, I'm hoping that picture is representative of the whole visit.

  16. Jet going with a little "Singing In the Rain"?

  17. 5 star Ahmad Dixon - there's got to be something going on to not want to take a kid with that kind of talent.

  18. mytommyd - my uninformed opinion is that it is just a matter of numbers. AU simply doesn't have room after already promising 22 schollies and saving the rest for the likes of Whitaker, Jones, Lattimore, Coleman, and (hopefully) Lemonier.

I'm guessing Howard is sticking with AU now??

  19. I may actually have to watch a non-Packer Super Bowl just so I can see this commercial

  20. I would imagine Lemonier has other things on his mind other than football. He's got family and friends in Haiti. That's why he cancelled his weekend visits. I hope the best for that young man.
