Schedule update

Today is Pro Day on Les Plaines.

Several players will participate, though only a few are considered engaging professional prospects. That group includes Ben Tate, Antonio Coleman and Walter McFadden.

The shindig begins around 1 p.m. The HABOTN video, photo and writing crews will be on hand to gather information for you. Please check out what will be WALL TO WALL coverage.

  2. McFadden is good enough to make a pro roster. Good luck to him.

    ReplyDelete
  3. For fun, I added an internet traffic cam just under the Twitter feed. It'll show you where HABOTN viewers are coming from.

Could be interesting. Or not. It's here for a trial run.

  4. i can't tell who the player is on the bench JG. spill it.

  5. JGT - I presume I'm represented as Duluth, GA on that live-feed. I'm relatively near Duluth but not in Duluth. That is an interesting addition though.

  6. I'm posting so I can see where I come from

    ReplyDelete
  7. Am I from Vincent? I don't think so! But no where else is close.

  16. Pro day doesn't interest me. I'll read Jay G's stuff, I'll read Jay's stuff, but my comments will only contain unrelated nonsense.

A hottie reading the Advertiser, but feeling the need to rip it speaks to Jay G's greatness and influence. Give him a raise, Gannett.

    ReplyDelete
  17. So Photog's, writers and video crew are ALL there? That would all be wrapped up into one JGT I suspect.

Cool link on who is landing here on the blog. Saw one from San Fran - wow. Norcross, GA shows up load and clear.

  18. Oh that's it... apparently I'm under a rock.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Scottie B: I don't know who that is on the bench. That's sad. The pic was shot one year ago today, too.

  20. Jay,

Are you going to the Capital City Classic tonight (aka the Iron Baseball game)?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Prattville, Alabama, under the stench of a paper mill, landed 13 minutes ago.

I hope whoever the hottie is that put out the bad vibes against the MA wil rethink their day and not do it again. Or go to mass for forgivness.

  23. Stu: I had to choose between the baseball game and Pro Day. I went with Pro Day.

    Bag will be there tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Thanks, I'm from down that way but never heard of it.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I bet since I'm at work then I'm the one from NJ.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm guessing Coleman is projected as our first player drafted?

So when is the NFL draft?

Seriously, thanks to everyone for all the kind words.

  35. I'm pretty sure Tate will come off the board before Coleman.

    ReplyDelete
  36. As a matter of fact, I think Tate helped himself considerably at the combine running a nice 40 time for his size and definitely had one of the better strength workouts. He is the total package.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm in and lurking as usual.

    ReplyDelete
  38. WERK, I hope everything goes well with your dad's surgery!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'm here, but I don't know where I would be from on the live feed.

    ReplyDelete
  40. The map is confused by Android...

Who is the fancypants in Dallas using Opera?

    ReplyDelete
  41. I'm marked on the feed as being in Powder Springs GA. I'm proud to say I live outside the city limits of said village.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Bonjour, mes amis!

I had to say that since JayG referenced Les Plaines. What is War Eagle in French?

RK, I'll join others in wishing that all goes well with your dad.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Who is from Bell Buckle, Tn?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Will T. Trott be participating in pro day?

    ReplyDelete
  45. So, do you have post to show up on the traffic cam?

    ReplyDelete
  46. RK a warm well wish for your dad, hope he comes through well and has a speedy recovery.

    ReplyDelete
  47. So is everyone's Blogosphere different? Mine says Bessemer.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Miller I got the email reminding me about the bracket. Wasn't sure who it was from until I read your post earlier. I intend to join in even though I know very little about college basketball nation wide.

    ReplyDelete
  49. just watched like 3 episodes of yo gabba gabba with my son, Good episode with Jack Black, he was busting out of his costume,

    ReplyDelete
  50. Yo Gabba Gabba is a pretty creepy show to me.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Norm,

Just looking through some stock trades of a hedge fund I'm investigating at work and noticed they sold off quite a bit of your company's stock in mid-2000. It's work 300% of that now. Hope you gathered a bundle back them.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Yeah, I wasn't employed here back then. There are some extremely wealthy (on paper at least) long term employees here.

    ReplyDelete
  53. What kind of 40 time did Tate run at the combine?

    ReplyDelete
  54. 3rd fastest time for rb's. fastest back in the 220+ plus weight range.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I hope Tate exceeds our expectations in the draft.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I've read that he is a late first day guy where as Coleman could go in later rounds.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I think I may be getting listed as Milwaukee, although I'm actually in Vinings, GA. The crazy routed machines

    ReplyDelete
  58. Maybe going a little lower in the draft will allow him to go to a successful organization.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Tate ran a 4.43...pretty impressive for a guy that big. I think he is moving up the boards. I mean look at his size and his measurables. He also is very durable. To me his only downside is his ability to hold on to the ball at times.

I watch Yo Gabba Gabba with my daughter in the afternoons...very creepy. What's up with the black dude that looks like he is from the 70's? They do get some big name people to appear on there though.

    ReplyDelete
  60. G, when you get time could you please do an article on Auburn's recent bb recruiting class? There has been some discussions on other blogs about how good it is. Two of the guys are rated in the top 10 for JUCO players yet the major services only gave them 1*. The PG from JUCO is rated as the best.

  62. ah, Merrill Johnson. that looks like him. thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I just youtube Yo Gabba Gabba to what ya'll are talking bout wow thats all I can say WOW

    ReplyDelete
  64. Thankfully, to the best of my knowledge, my F4* is not interested in Yo Gabba Gabba. But I have seen it advertised on some other things he watches and that's been my primary exposure to it. It's just a creepy, freaky show.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I just watched 5 minuted of Yo Gabba Gabba. You know how people used to get really high and listen to Dark Side of the Moon?

    ReplyDelete
  66. It did really hold my attention, though, which is pretty good considering I have the attention span of a three year old. I can see why it gets awards and stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  67. PF - Hot Wife and I have watched the new Funny or Die show which comes on HBO late Saturday night and determined that if we were on drugs we'd probably think it was a lot funnier.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Somebody in Miami using a Mac (not me) just landed on a thread about a radio appearance from December. I thought that was a random thread to be viewing.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Holy Crap, someone in Louisville, TN is running Windows 98???? That's amazing.

Also thought it was interesting that there is actually someone out there that uses Safari on their PC.

    ReplyDelete
  70. They have a show on HBO? Their website has some gems from time to time, but I there is a lot of stuff on it that isn't really that funny.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Istanbul (not Constantinople) in da house!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Jay G,

I just followed a delightfully surprising link from twitter to an Auburn baseball story by you. Very nice.
