Where Da Gold At?
Hey everyone. Happy St. Patrick's Day.
This holiday is a big one in Alabama, where the greatest YouTube video of all time was created just for this day. It's the gift that keeps on giving, a clip that never gets old, a script that's dense like tungsten.

missinit probably isn't missinit, but I am. Bball interests me zero. You just reminded me that I still don't even know who won the game played 4 miles from my home last night in the Dean Dome.
Wm. and Mary-UNC was a thoroughly entertaining game. It was played in Carmichael Auditorium instead of the Dean Dome, which is under renovation. It was a great atmosphere.
Could be a crackhead!
ReplyDeleteI could have eaten lunch waiting for the home page to load.
ReplyDeleteAs my FB suggests today, I love this video clip.
ReplyDeleteBest use of a sketch artist EVAH!
ReplyDeleteSNORT.
Chess Boxing
ReplyDeletebut not as dense as Osmium?
ReplyDeleteI have added AUFan365 to the RoF in a subsection we're calling "Where Eagles Soar."
ReplyDeleteIt was a suggestion from Phred and I found it outstanding in every way.
My vote is for the crackhead line.
ReplyDeleteI think that would be appropriate. Nice suggestion by Phred.
ReplyDeleteThat street and tree is worht going to visit if your ever in the Mobile area...AND...its right around the corner from Dreamland BarBQ!
ReplyDelete"I wanna know where the gold at?"
ReplyDeletenice suggestion Phreddie.
ReplyDeleteI voted for the guy who says: "To me it looks like a leprechaun to me."
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a tight race.
ReplyDelete"don't be afraid"
ReplyDeleteIt won't let me register my vote, but mine would be for Crackhead.
ReplyDeleteNorm's disenfranchised! Awesome...
ReplyDeleteI can't view the video from here, but I voted anyway--uninformed, non-substantive opinion.
ReplyDeleteI think the "Where Eagles Soar" designation is a wonderful idea.

ReplyDeleteI cast my vote for Ephemeral's new avatar.
ReplyDeleteI voted for "where the gold at". Great way to honor and remember 365. Thanks, JG and Phred.
ReplyDeleteJ-Z ...
ReplyDeleteNorm is a felon who has yet to have his voting rights restored.
That may or may not be true but I do have guns.
ReplyDeleteAh... guns. Now we're speaking my language.
ReplyDeleteJ-Z, I thought PBR is your language?
ReplyDeleteJust checked in and saw the sad news. RIP 365. My prayers go out to the family.
ReplyDeleteI love crackhead leprechauns!

ReplyDeleteBet that made his resume tape.
Nice tribute JG and Phred.
ReplyDeleteVoted for:
'Dis here's a Leprechaun flute ...... given to me by my great, great grandfather ..who was Irish. "Crack head" would be my second vote".
Calabash?! Bring me some shrimp!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen people think everyone from Alabama are ignorant rednecks at least we have this video to...uh, okay, never mind.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding way to honor AUfan365. Phred, you and Jay G. are not near 'bout the best, you are the best. Prayers for the family and a special WAR EAGLE for 365.

ReplyDeleteCould be a crackhead!
ReplyDeletethats got my vote
Could be a crackhead, definitely gets my vote. Although the sketch is almost as hilarious.
ReplyDeletePBR and guns go hand in hand.
ReplyDeleteLiterally... PBR in one hand, .45 in the other.
ReplyDeleteJ-Z, word. The rest of the PBR six pack on the ground next to you...at least that's how I roll.
ReplyDeleteif you used one of those hard hats with the straws you could use both hands for guns.....if one was so inclined.
ReplyDeletePBR should be used for target practice.
ReplyDeleteFor Kelly and Katie - a poem honoring your dad
ReplyDeleteThough you are with us now no more
We will hear your cheers from a distant shore
"War Eagle" now and forever more
As you watch from the place Where Eagles Soar
R.I.P Larry Bailey - AUFan365

But Bryan, we hate everyone at WMSP.
ReplyDeleteOh....Sorry JZ. Was not aware of that.
ReplyDeleteGoodness that was funny!
ReplyDeleteAs a black person, the funniest line to me was, "passed down from my great great grandfather who was Irish."
I know a lot of us blacks in the US have Irish connections (myself included), but it's just really funny to hear someone say it.
j-z's on his game today.
ReplyDeleteRats. I can't remember who our Newfoundland Hottie is. Speak up and remind me. Something to do with the fishing industry?
ReplyDeleteJ-Z's on his meds today.
ReplyDeleteThat's comforting. I love the Mobile video!
ReplyDeleteThat video rawks.
ReplyDeleteSnort
:)
THT...
ReplyDeleteYou may be thinking of Aubie, who lists his occupation as a chummer from St. John's, Newfoundland. Of course I could be totally wrong.
I think the part I like best is the guy's look of confirmation after he asks everyone there to say yes if they had seen said leprechaun.
ReplyDeleteehyou - thanks for helping out an old senile Hottie.
ReplyDeleteThanks JayG and PF for honoring AUFan365 that way! It's the best!
ReplyDeleteAlso thanks for a little levity today....I had forgotten about that! Everyone who's seen the Leprachaun say YEAH!!!
YEAH!
ReplyDeleteJason , I voted for the flute comment because the dude did a nice parody of the whole incident.
ReplyDeleteEphemeral here, catching up during a late lunch-time.
ReplyDeleteThanks, THT, for the vote for the avatar. Spring in Auburn is a happy thought, isn't it?
I love daffodils, or as I erroneously call them, buttercups. As soon as they finish blooming, I'm ready for Fall.
ReplyDeleteMe, too! Such flowers are blooming here in The Gumry. If only the sun will stay out for a while, I think we will have spring.

Do it...
missinit probably isn't missinit, but I am. Bball interests me zero. You just reminded me that I still don't even know who won the game played 4 miles from my home last night in the Dean Dome.
ReplyDeleteok, I just checked. UNC defeated that royal couple, Bill & Mary.
ReplyDeleteI went to visit Bill and Mary this past summer but they weren't home.
ReplyDeleteDidn't they beat UVa in football in 2009?
well, i just picked my entire bracket after zero bracketology, zero brackets printed off the web, and zero chance of getting close to being correct.
ReplyDeletethat said, may i congratulate KANSAS STATE as my 2010 NATIONAL CHAMPION!
ha.
If you search youtube for the Mobile leprechaun, you can find some rather funny/creative music videos of the original video.
ReplyDeleteWm. and Mary-UNC was a thoroughly entertaining game. It was played in Carmichael Auditorium instead of the Dean Dome, which is under renovation. It was a great atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteDid UNC make the NIT? I thought they lost all of their games. Maybe it just seemed that way with all of the whinning coming out of North Carolina.
ReplyDeleteVandy is in my final four...don't ask how that happened because I don't know.
ReplyDeleteI seriously miss Carmichael Auditorium. It was a fantastic atmosphere for basketball. The Dean Dome just seems a bit sterile.
ReplyDeleteI'm about to hit the road for the 75 mile commute. It would give me great pleasure if a Hottie could pinch hit shortly.
Adios.
Can someone post the facebook page link please?
ReplyDeleteDid everyone check out that new Auburn site. It was great. Loved the Tiger Walk rap.
ReplyDeleteHotties FB Page
ReplyDeleteBen Tate thread is UPZ.
ReplyDeleteso close I can see it :-(
