Ben Tate has been drafted

Hey everyone. Former Auburn tailback Ben Tate was picked in the second round of the NFL Draft by the Houston Texans.

He was the 58th overall pick.

"He's a no-nonsense runner," NFL Network analyst Charles Davis said. ``He and Eric Berry will have some of the most explosive meetings when they meet on the field next year."

Tate will tandem with Steve Slaton, the former West Virginia star, in the Texas' backfield.

    Auburn tried to give it away. KY had bases loaded in top of 6th, but AU pitched out of it. 7-4 going into bottom of 6th.

    Call me a homer but Ben should have gone higher. I can see Spiller with his versatility going ahead of him but no other RB has all that he does. Tate may not have been the best back in the state, but I would not have traded him any of the others.
