Hey everyone. I will be participating in my weekly segment on SuperSport 930 out of Jackson, Miss., in a bit. That extravaganza will begin around 8:32 a.m. CST. There will be a podcast later in the day in case you miss the fun.
It typically streams live, so please enjoy the segment digitally if you're so inclined.
no radio at work :-(
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'll have to catch the podcast later too.
ReplyDeletewhattup hotties! i'm checking in from Myrtle Beach so i won't be able to listen live. thanks for all the twitter updates yesterday JGT. it was nice to keep up with the Tigers on the road. looking forward to them today too.
ReplyDeleteWDE!
Ahhh the beach. Have fun dude!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see someone actually uses the Tweets. I only use Twitter at my home computer ...
ReplyDeleteI don't understand how Tweets work on your end as a "breaking news" conduit, but I'm glad it works.
JGT, I am very appreciate of your Tweets. Definitely keeps me up to date.
ReplyDeleteShould have been "appreciative". Typing before my daily dose of coffee is dangerous!
ReplyDeleteFor those two of your listening ... I really was spanking Wifey.
ReplyDeleteShe just refuses to get on the air. I don't get it.
maybe she mistakenly thinks radio adds an extra 10?
ReplyDeleteshe should come on and start talking world cup soccer.
ReplyDeleteTwitter has become a very useful resource for gaining knowledge.
ReplyDeleteI am very appreciative of the tweets and texts from the past few days.
Has your World Cup blog site been set up?
ReplyDeleteWe are, uh, still working on the WC blog.
ReplyDeleteMy publisher left earlier this week. She was an important part of the equation. I may or may not be rudderless now.
Jay,
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the tweeets. That has been the only way I can keep up with the game. I so hope you will do it again in today's game. We ar off to esplore Estes Park. Looks beautiful in the brochure! Not sure how much climbing I can do in this altitude though.
Did y'all see Auburn had the 2nd ranked play on Sportscenter last night? Not sure who, but an awesome catch by one of the outfielders.
I wondered where that extra "e" had gone! Tweets!
ReplyDeleteI didn't really pay attention to the post and saw 930 and assumed that was the time you were on.
ReplyDeleteI was rather disappointed when I heard them talking about MMA crap.
Great start to the weekend.
cincy- on way back from Estes Park, go through Big Thompson Canyon, i.e. US34 towards Loveland.
ReplyDeleteThanks, THT. Headed out now, will definitely check it out.
ReplyDeleteThat was Fradejas with the catch. I missed Sportxenter last night and I'm now scrounging around the net trying to find video of the catch.
ReplyDeleteMiller,

ftworth in tha house! Thanks bro.
ReplyDeleteWow. That is a swell catch.
ReplyDeleteThanks ftworth!!
ReplyDeleteNeed to say again
ReplyDeleteI really like the live feed, this blog gets hits from all over the world. Don't know why some of them don't post so we could get to know them.
HELLO WORLD from HABOTN
Thanks for the link ftworth, and welcome! Don't be a stranger.
ReplyDeletemiller. i told you I my text yesterday that it was going to be on Sportscenter. You had no excuse for not watching.
ReplyDeleteIn other news, I am no longer a Neopolitan. Very excited about moving day.
Thanks for that link, FortWorth.
ReplyDeleteOne good link deserves another (just for ftworthtiger & other DFW Hotties)
congrats, PF. Moving day... ah yes, I remember those well. Those are the days for which MrsTHT does all the work after I find the destination. That sounds like a fair distribution...right?
ReplyDeleteMrsTHT did 9 of those since we got married.
Well, the Mrs. Made me find a place (which was impossible and took three very frustrating weekends of back and forths, the backed out of her promise to hire movers next time. She packed about half, then made me clean and move everything. I better get a special treat for this.
ReplyDeletei'm spoiled.
ReplyDeleteThey say you shouldn't look at mlb standings until Memorial Day. Well it's almost here and the Braves are only 1.5 out. Get some!!
ReplyDeletePF, I know you gave me the heads up, but I was tired and fell asleep before it came on. I shoulda dvr'd it.
ReplyDeleteMiller, are you going to the game?
ReplyDeleteLive feed = good
ReplyDeleteTweets = even gooder (easiest to get on my phone)
How'd the root canal go ChocoScott?
ReplyDeleteTwitter is pretty much the best source for breaking news on whatever you find important.
ReplyDeleteRivals has FSU as the.#2 seed in the AU regional.
ReplyDeleteWhoa!
...and no thank you.
ehyou, it's just under 1/2 done. I get to go back to the endodontist next week, then the regular dentist the week after that. What sucks is that this is a retreatment of a root canal that I had four years ago. I am not used to dental work, as this is the only issue I've ever had. Thanks for asking.
ReplyDeleteNever had one (knock on wood). Sounds unpleasant.
ReplyDeleteFYI I offer repository services for unused pain meds if you're interested.
Choco... Nocandu today. Family graduating from HS tonight. I can't fit em both in.
ReplyDeletePull them through today, and I will be there in the morning.
Where does one register for this pain med auction?
ReplyDelete50 piece chickn McNuggets for $10.99
ReplyDeleteMiller, too bad. Hope you get to go tomorrow. We had a family HS graduation last night. I managed to miss the actual ceremony, but did attend the party. If only I could always work it like that!
ReplyDeleteehyou, JGT might frown upon dealing in unused pharmaceuticals on the HABOTN (otherwise you could have 'em). ;)
Gary Coleman dead.
ReplyDeleteTaking off to pick up the kids for the ballgame! War Eagle!
ReplyDeleteWhatchoo talkin' 'bout, PF?
ReplyDeleteVia twitter.
ReplyDelete@cnnbrk: Actor Gary Coleman has died after being hospitalized following brain hemorrhage http://on.cnn.com/9T3k8R
ReplyDeleteJust demonstrates another use for twitter: dead people.
ReplyDeleteThings you see on US 301 near Tampa:
ReplyDeleteTrust Me BbQ. Interesting name. Their smoker looked and smelled pretty awesome, but I don't trust it.
Beverage Castle. Drive through liquor store that looks like it used to be a car wash. Literally drive right through it. I've seen such before (Lithonia, Ga), but this place took it to a new level by looking like an amusement park.
Good afternoon, Hotties!
ReplyDeleteStressful day. I could use such a drive through, if I had a designated driver.
I have heard that there used to be such a place off I-85 between Mont and Auburn.
Better still, I probably could use a nap.
ReplyDeleteI've patronized one of those drive-thru liquor stores in Oxford, MS (home of the most over-hyped tailgate atmosphere ever, it ain't that great)
ReplyDeleteNothing will ever beat the mixed drinks in a cup in La, but this place looked fun. Driving into a castle to get booze HAS TO BE.
ReplyDeleteMummey must've had more than cramps. He and Fletch are out today. Twitter said so.
ReplyDeletethey're still better off than the twittered Coleman
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know where to listen to game today in the Gump?
ReplyDeleteWEG...
ReplyDeleteI haven't found anywhere that tells. Most of the normal radio affiliates have not been carrying the tourney games.
they said this morning it would be on 950 but it's still music
ReplyDeleteI just e-mailed Rob Bramblett, we'll see if I get a response.
ReplyDeleteIs JayG covering the game or BCW?
ReplyDelete*Rod
ReplyDeletehopefully, BCW.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Gary Coleman always reminds me of Jerry Coleman, the baseball broadcaster with all the classic mis-speaks
Game is in weather delay. Tarp may or may not still be on field.
ReplyDeleteSmitty has a Smokehouse in Dade City, FL. I just saw it.
This is the greatest thread ever. I'm never going to leave it.
