Your weekend overview

Hey everyone. Hope you had a swell weekend. It was First Communion weekend here at HABOTN Headquarters, so please pardon our inactivity.

So what did we miss?

  • Auburn's baseball team continued its march toward Hoover (for the first time in six years) with a series win at Arkansas. The Tigers hit eight homers during the weekend and starter Grant Dayton was filthy on Sunday. He struck out 10 batters and allowed two runs in seven innings.

The team now is 30-15 overall and 12-9 in SEC play.

The team plays last-place Mississippi State and a disappointing Tennessee team at Plainsman Park during the next two weekends. Series wins there all but lock up a postseason bid.

  • Not directly Auburn-related, but the NCAA rules committee will meet in Indianapolis today. Among the items they'll review: Installing a charge/block arc near the basket (a la the NBA) that prevents players from camping under the basket in an effort to draw charges.

  • The Tiger Trek caravan rolls into Montgomery tonight. It's run through the Montgomery Auburn Club and replaces the big summer b-b-q event we used to attend in July or August. Gene Chizik will be there. Two people emailed to say Tony Barbee would be there as well, but a check with basketball publicist Chuck Gallina revealed that Barbee is in Texas today.

  1. I'm glad AU baseball is probably going to be able to carry us to the summer practices

    ReplyDelete
  2. Summer practices?

Are we going to cover summer practices this season?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Yes. Yes you are going to cover summer practices. Next question?

Weather permitting, y'all should hit Tiger Trek tonight. It was fun when it rolled through ATL.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Well if it's not officially covered, I'm sure we'll be getting some info from the hotties that know things, JGT.

We might even consider making up some stuff

    ReplyDelete
  5. The pictures ITAT takes of players with their shirts off ... kind creeps me out.

    Is anyone with me here?

    ReplyDelete
  6. I'm not against manufacturing stories. That in itself has gone a long way to ensuring I'm still married to Hot Wife.

    ReplyDelete
  7. 19th ranked Auburn looks like a lock for Hoover and regionals. I said early on that tickets to Hoover could be booked. I was asked by someone of importance what my sources were. I had no sources. I had something better: soothsaying ability! Get some!

    ReplyDelete
  8. That whole picture takin' with the shirts off thing sounds very ... Kiffiny. Kiffinish? Kiffinesque? What's the reason behid the half nekked pics?

    ReplyDelete
  9. CH=B,

With the new forcasts including the oil getting into the loop current and covering beaches from Biloxi to Hilton Head, I would like to change my "Go somewhere else" statement to "Go somewhere else far away, like Hawaii, or Costa Rica (pacific coast side)."

    ReplyDelete
  10. What pictures? Sounds hawt! :snort:

    ReplyDelete
  11. If any of you are planning to attend the SEC Baseball Tournament, please consider stopping by my church's annual crawfish and shrimp boil. It's only about 1/2 mile from the stadium, and less than a block off of Stadium Trace (the main road in). I promise that all the food will be free of crude oil.

I don't know how to link to a specific page of this document, but if you're interested, scroll to page 7.

    Crawfish boil

    ReplyDelete
  12. SC,

Where do you plan on getting the crawfish and shrimp? Surely you won't be using frozen ones from Asia, but I don't foresee any domestic ones being available at that time. Has any considered this and started freaking out yet?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Domestic (South Carolina) should be ready and available for your shrimp boilin' needs. And we need your dollars. I can't help with Crawfish.

    ReplyDelete
  14. PF, I'm sure someone is already freaking out, but I know those in charge will do the right thing. As I mentioned previously, I'm confident that the food will be crude oil free. This is the 13th year for the event, so there is plenty of experience in dealing with challenges (admittedly, this year will probably be the most challenging of all).

    ReplyDelete
  15. Are we developing a BBQ gap at Auburn? We just don't seem to be paying proper respect to BBQ any more.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Or possibly there is a crude oil discount meal.

    ReplyDelete
  17. LCT, South Carolina shrimp is a good idea. We have a lot of Louisianans at our church, so I will leave the crawfish sourcing to them. Might be able to get some that is farmed inland, or something along those lines.

    ReplyDelete
  18. yay baseball!

a quick shout-out to former AU QB stand-out Loran Carter. thanks for the package today! WDE!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Need a quality steak in Auburn, too.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I worked at Coach and Four while in Auburn. That was a pretty good steak. Not sure if they are still in business. They were in Opelika and then they opened one for a short time in Auburn.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Smezmerizations ...

    1. Shirtless photos of prospects on ITAT are weird. Shirtless photos of PMarsh on AU Undercover are ... oh dear lowered ... nightmare inducing.

    2. Our detractors call us the "Cow College." How in the world do we not have a good steak in Auburn? This must be addressed.

    3. Does anyone else think that one day we're going to flip a page and that the body of Norm will be danging there with a noose courtesy of Mrs. Norm?

    4. J-Z. Have he and Carmela run out of money yet on their trip around the world?

    ReplyDelete
  22. The Waffle House T-Bone exudes quality.

    ReplyDelete
  23. For an excellent steak, best I've ever had, you owe it to yourselves if you're in the ATL area to drive a bit North to my neck of the woods and dine Here
Since I'm not a professional athlete or otherwise independently wealthy, this is the type of place Hot Wife and I manage to take in once or twice a year. But, it never disappoints.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Norm, the linka no work.

    ReplyDelete
  25. BTW - I think I've hit every place in the general vicinity here which are supposedly noted for their steaks. While they've each been fine dinners, they don't measure up to the previously linked spot.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well then poop. Here it is: http://www.cabernetsteakhouse.com/

    ReplyDelete
  27. A lot of the crawfish will still be fairly good. They live inland for the most part, all freshwater. As long as the oil stays away from getting into the rivers, LA crawfish are safe.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ruth's Chris is pretty darn good if you have $100+.

Some of my high school buddies came up one to to play golf. Losers had to buy dinner. So we went to sames a bought a slap of meet (fillet mignon) for $70. We made 13 nice sized steaks. One of the best cook outs ever.

    ReplyDelete
  29. The steaks came from Sam's. You can't beat 13 filet mignons for $70.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yes, I can see Norm.

He's just polished off the Porterhouse, and now he's sipping a Macallan and savoring an illegal Cohiba that the proprietor serves to "special friends."

And he's expressing his gratitude that none of the "little people" -- certainly no one on HABOTN -- could actually afford to dine at Cabernet.

    ReplyDelete
  31. CH=B - this place is a far sight better than Ruth's Chris in my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I expect a hurricane to develop any day now, pick up all of the oil in the gulf, and blanket the entire southeast is a waterproof sheen. Crawfish will be affected. As will bass, deer, and Hotties.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Jet - it's not uncommon to see the likes of Smoltz or Glavine and their ilk in this place. My '07 Tahoe usually pales in comparison to other rides in their parking lot.

    ReplyDelete
  34. The Chef certainly has a decent bio to support the claims Norm is making.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I promise you, you won't be disappointed if you ever dine at Cabernet. Different strokes for different folks so you may not think it's the best you yourself have ever had, but I'd be willing to bet your next paycheck it makes your Top 3.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Norm...
Be advised habotn standards dictate your phrase should have read as follows:

    "Well poop in a cooler..."

    ReplyDelete
  37. ehyou - Well Peter Piper picked a pepper, I guess I did. I apologize for my oversight.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Low released his post-spring practice power rankings. Yeah, I know it doesn't mean squat, but it's all the football we got right now.

    Bama
    UF
    Ark
    LSU
    AU
    UGA
    USC
    UM
    MSU
    UT
    UK
    VU

    ReplyDelete
  39. I still say the only way to fairly judge a good restaurant is by the size of the tea glasses.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Nice use of the a href tag, ehyou!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I do not care for the continual cooking of my meal at Ruth's Chris. My steak will continue cooking on it's own, and does not need a sizzling plate that will cause the outside to maintain such temperatures that will burn my tongue. The meat is decent, though. Not decent enough to justify me spending that kind of money for an unoriginal chain restaurant, but decent nonetheless.

Give me Peter Luger or give me death! Heaps of butter on perfectly cooked dry aged prime!

    ReplyDelete
  42. We should never be behind Arkansas or LSU, never!!!

By the way, it is nice to see where Kiffikin left UT.

UGA, USCe, and Ole Nutt should be ranked higher.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Of course, any poll that ranks MSU over UT can't be all bad.

    ReplyDelete
  44. By the way, I know Pete Luger sends out hot, sizzling plates. They are forgiven, because they are vastly superior to anything else...ever.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Steve, I don't follow. Are you saying that it should be

    Bama
    UF
    UGA
    USC
    UM
    AU
    Ark
    LSU
    MSU
    UT
    UK
    VU

    Maybe I didn't follow you.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Hey, I'm repeating myself. Sweet.

    ReplyDelete
  47. No way we should be lower than Ark. I can maybe see LSU because they have tons of talent. I think our rankings is pretty fair though. Not bad considering where we were just two years ago. If some of these freshmen come in and play well and Cam does his thing then we will have a chance at the west.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Not quite, PF. Bama and UF definitely deserve the top two spots. 3rd, 4th, and 5th should be Ole Nutt, us, and USCe in no particular order. I would have UGA at 6th, although I can see them do better.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I would also see the coach most likely to get fired poll, which I think Meyer has a firm lock of the number 1 spot. Spurrier and Richt are probably a distant 2 and 3.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I think LSU is there until they finish lower than Top 4. Arkansas has beaten us 2 years in a row and looks to be improving. Ole Miss has no business in the Top 4, Steve.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Coach Most Likely to be fired = Mark Richt. Followed by Les Miles.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I gotta think that Miles' seat is the hottest in the SEC. I'd think Richt gets a pass this year after the coaches shakeup last year.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Steve...you think Meyer is the most likely coach to be fired?

    Huh?

    ...

    And may I add...

    HUH?!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Is Meyer at number 1 a joke, Steve? I think he would have to murder multiple children to get fired at this point.

I have Richt in the top spot. I think Miles still has a couple of years to work things out at LSU. They are still in a pretty good position right now with the talent he has gathered.

Most likely to not be with the team after this year? I would vote Spurrier. How many more disappointing seasons can the guy take?

    ReplyDelete
  55. I'll go with Miles and Richt has co-favorites for hottest seat, though I think Miles is more likely to get fired while Richt may be more likely to just step down at the end of this season.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I think Nutt goes on the hot-seat early this year.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I would agree PF, but you would have to think Ole Miss has learned a little bit from the Cutcliffe situation, right? Going to bowl games isn't such a bad thing. Look at how much time they gave coach O, and he was a total mess.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I think LSU would be best served among the named coaches to get rid of their coach, but he has the national championship and recruits well. I think this gives him more security than fans would like to think.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Nutt may get on the hot seat this year, but he'll be there at least two more years. If he doesn't get some decent recruiting classes, he'll be gone in short order afterwards.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I think Ole Ball Coach plays a lot more golf in '11 than he has in previous years. I think he hangs it up voluntarily this season. Or, perhaps not 100% voluntary but at least officially voluntary though not the way another former SEC coach left a couple of years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Norm,

How can he play MORE? He already plays more than 99.5% of others in his position.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Point being, his schedule won't be encumbered by football responsibilities at USCe.

    ReplyDelete
  63. there is some talk that Brey Cook and Kyle Frazier are both pretty high on Auburn. How bad will the hogs melt if we once again get their top two players? If we get Cook and Robinson for the OL it could very well be the best OL class of all time.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Not to get political ( I know how some hate that) but when are the great people of Nashville going to blame Obama for the flooding and start demanding their 2k gift cards?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Related to my post about my church's crawfish and shrimp boil during the SEC Baseball Tournament - I just received the following message from one of the guys heading it up:

I have been asked several times if the oil spill in the gulf will affect availability of crawfish and shrimp. The answer is NO. Crawfish are raised in freshwater farms, inland from the coast.
Actually this year I most likely will be buying the crawfish from a farm in west Alabama. Shrimp are farm raised also and there is a big import market on shrimp so I don't foresee a problem there either.
So continue to tell everyone to come out and enjoy some crude oil free seafood!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Politics are for rude people, and Jet.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Friends don't let friends eat imported shrimp.

(Imported from off, that is). Imported from the GA, SC, and NC is fine.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Farm Raised Shrimp? Imported Asian Shrimp?

    BLASPHEMY!

I'm allergic to the little boogers and even I know that's wrong. As Lowcountry Tiger said, South Carolina (and south Georgia) will have fresh shrimp.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Isn't it awesome (hilarious, sad, just go ahead and feel in your adjective) that when talking about SEC coaches most likely to get fired, Vandy's Bobby Johnson (he of the one winning season in eight) never enters the discussion.

I understand why and all. That's just Vandy's life in the SEC. Yet I imagine somewhere beneath the academic facade there is a small, passionate fanbase yearning to break free from the school's self-imposed plight of below-mediocrity.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I want a gift card.

My lawn is wet. It's a tragedy.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I don't have a lawn but there is rain on my car.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Until proven otherwise, I think South Carolina and Arky are going to continue their 7-8 win seasons and somewhat dissapoint their own fanbases yet again, by putting themselves in a spot to not even challenge for the division rep.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Again you folks screw up and read what I typed instead of what I meant. I typed Meyer, but meant Miles. It was an honest mistake because Meyer is still number one in the coaches most likely to retire due to medical reasons, change his mind and take an extended leave of absence that lasts about an hour, and return before anyone knows exactly what happened list.

    ReplyDelete
  74. You people are crazy. Ole Nutt could be a top five team early in the season. Of course, late in the season they are likely to be around 38th or so, but that is beside the point.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Sorry about that, Steve. We'll do better next time.

    ReplyDelete
  76. SFC being implicit is not a good match.

    ReplyDelete
  77. You know who a good match were, though?

    ReplyDelete
  78. Nicely done E-Bro.

And don't forget that Spurrier is number one in the list of coaches most likely to get arrested for killing a quarterback.

    ReplyDelete
  79. i'm just tired of average arky teams being one of AU's 2 losses and keeping us out of the title game. they just seem to have our number. when AU wins, its a struggle. arky blows us out and AU looks bad doing it. commence fred talley sighting jokes.......now.

usc under spurrier has just puzzled me. i would like for AU to emphatically state to mr. lattimore he chose incorrectly by stomping usce's head in the ground this year. AU has only played spurrier at usce twice, right? 2005 beatdown and 2006 thriller where AU had the ball for the entire Q3.

    ReplyDelete
  80. I agree mytommyd. I can't see ARK finishing ahead of us this year. The Iron Bowl has a chance to decide who represents the west this year. That is as long a injuries don't get us and we don't lose to someone we shouldn't (KU or MSU). That MSU game on a Thursday could be a tough one.

    ReplyDelete
  81. we played USC in columbia in 1997 for sure. i was there.

    ReplyDelete
  82. We have two of the more interesting early games against MSU and South Carolina.

MSU concerns me because, while topping the list as the SEC coach most likely to play the John Goodman roll in a remake of the Babe, Mullen is a dang good offensive mind. MSU is the team I worry about early this season.

South Carolina has a very good defense. If Spurrier gets the offense rolling, they could end up second in the east.

    ReplyDelete
  83. i can't see arky finishing ahead of AU this year, but i can see them beating AU this year because they score 50 or something.

AU just brings out the best in whoever we play. we got uga's only game without multiple turnovers (they had 0) and no penalties. arky probably played its best game of the year against AU. mallet looked like a god against us and couldn't throw it out of bounds against other teams.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Yeah chip, I don't know what this thing is that we have about playing Arkansas. It seems they wait until it's too late to get motivated to play and beat up a team that they should be able to handle. Maybe there's something in that Fayetteville water that slows the boys down.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I tend to think we usually don't match up well with Arkansas. They have traditionally been a power running team and our defense has been more of a small and fast team that deals better with the more pass happy offenses or people that run the ball outside.

Arkansas tends to shove the ball down our throats.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Last season we just hit that middle stretch of schedule very beat up.

MSU is a team that has traditionally been a thorn in our side too, although they don't usually win. They usually always give us a closer game than anticipated. I attribute that mainly due to MSU's solid defenses and they typically have pretty good linemen.

    ReplyDelete
  87. the worst losses to arky have been at AU. we tend to beat them or put up a better fight over there.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Not to diminish our superior view of Arkansas, but while they are something of a bogey team, they've also more or less been at a similar trajectory to our program. Obviously, our 2004 season and overall SEC history trumps much of what they have stood for, but since 1992, they've been to Atlanta, what, three times (1995, 2002, and 2006) that I can think of.

How many times have we been to ATL? Three times. Yeah, I think we opearte on a slightly higher plane that do the Hogs, but it's not like it's so high we can't see them. And besides that, as much as they've given us problems, we've done the same to them. Last year was the first time we had lost in Fayettenam since 2001.

    ReplyDelete
  89. the only time i can remember AU housing arky was 2004. it was sweet that year having so many games decided at halftime.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Arkansas also gave us the worst loss I can remember under Tuberville. I think they ran for nearly 500 yards.

    ReplyDelete
  91. We gave them a pretty solid whipping at Nam back in 2005.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I am disappointed that we haven't seen any El Toro substance today, but maybe no news is good news.

    ReplyDelete
  93. E-Bro is my favorite!!!

    Shhhh..... don't tell the others

I was granted parole. Bammer Bernie was not.

    ReplyDelete
  94. JGT - the half nekked pictures are a bit creepy, not to mention poor taste. And I reached that conclusion without having to see them.

    Did your pony win yesterday?

    ReplyDelete
  95. Low's rankings are entirely fair for this point in time.

We're excited, and we have a right to be. But we won three league games last year, and we're breaking in a new QB. Arkansas returns potentially the No. 1 QB in next year's NFL draft.

Teams with solid line play and solid QB play win in this league.

I think Cam can turn a question mark into an exclamation point, but that doesn't mean we deserved to be ranked ahead of Ark and LSU in the preseason.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Chip ...

I don't think we ever saw Fred Talley, so how can we make jokes about Fred Talley sightings?

    ReplyDelete
  97. The Daughter's pony won.

Mine came in 17th of 20.

    ReplyDelete
  98. PUPPET HOUR!!!! AAHAHHH!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  99. Erik Estrada is a puppet.

    ReplyDelete
  100. No, Erik Estrada is a vision, THT.

    ReplyDelete
  101. After 5:00pm CT and no El Toro news. Maybe the rumors were PPL-ish? Hope so.

    ReplyDelete
  102. I bet Eltoro gave an impassioned speech to Chiz that won his spot on the team back.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I just had the best country style steak. It was deeeeeeeevine. I've now been assigned the arduous task of eating a large bowl of ice cream with Hershey's Chocolate Syrup.

  104. HOCKEY!!!! Go Bruins!!!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Hey Jay, have you heard of Shon Coleman's St. Jude's Cancer fundraiser?

    http://stj.convio.net/site/TR?pg=fund&fr_id=1341&pxfid=25670

    Def worth checking out.

One of you smart guys put the linky thing on here. This is on ESPN, Bruce Feldman, about an AU grad, overseas, doing someting for Shon Coleman. Interesting read.

    ReplyDelete
  107. WTC, thanks for putting the ESPN link up. That's where I saw this story. This is a great effort.

    ReplyDelete
  108. 2 things....

    1) Do I expect coverage of summer practices, complete with topless photos? Yes, absolutely! But, not of the football team, I want topless summer practice photos of the cheerleaders and Tigerpaws.

    2) One of the largest industries in the state of Alabama is aquaculture. There is a huge market for farm-raised crawfish, shrimp, catfish, tilapia, and other fish. That's the only good thing about the western half of the state.

    ReplyDelete
  109. When do tickets for the SEC tourney go on sale? Are they already?

    ReplyDelete
  110. I don't know that Ryan Mallet will be a high draft pick. He could end up being the next Jevan Snead.

    ReplyDelete
  111. By the way, Jevan Snead is one of the best stories in college football. He went from Heisman candidate to undrafter free agent. Any chance Sandra Bullock will play his momma in a movie?

    ReplyDelete
  112. Still believe Mallett is going to be one to the top QBs drafted? Well, Snead was suppose to be one of the top two QBs drafted, along with Sam Bradford. It just didn't turn out that way. Hows the dumb side sound as the title of a movie? It can chronicle the success of prognosticators.

    ReplyDelete
  113. If wouldn't blame the Snead thing on prognosticators If Snead had made any progress at all from the 2008 season, he would have been a first round pick. All the draft gurus said as much, and they were right. Instead, Snead took an enormous step backward. No one had Snead going high after the season.

If Mallet has a season as bad as Snead's 2009 campaign, he too might go undrafted.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Steve- Snead isn't even in the same class as Mallett. Mallett will be a high draft pick next year. I was always leary of Snead. Mallett scares me. He has all the tools and the head is on a lot tighter than Snead.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Maybe Eddie, but many would have said the same of Snead prior to last season.

Football players are like a box of chocolates. It is hard to tell which ones are fruits or nuts at the core.

    ReplyDelete
  116. There are many other examples, such as Kodi and Rollison. And then there are those that surprise like Mr. Bates. Yes, his nickname has been updated for general audiences.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Another good comparison is Ray Cotton and Tyrik Rollison. Some thought Rollison would be much better. Both have potential. Neither has actually done anything yet. Who is the best? So far we just don't know. Rankings are only a rough indicator and they can change drastically, like they did with Snead.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Anonymous7:56 PM

A lot of that aquaculture was developed at Auburn. Ever notice the fish ponds on North College as you head out to 280? I know in the late 70's they were working heavily on Tilapia to help make them marketable.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Steve ...

My $100 vs. your $50 here says Mallett is a first or second round pick when he's in the draft.

    Want in?

    ReplyDelete
  120. iS it going to be a surprise that Mr. Bates doesn't live up to the hype generated from last season?

    ReplyDelete
  121. For you Droid users out there, which one do you have and how do you like it? Tylerson is switching from his iphone to Verizon because he gets a 20% discount with his company. He is deciding that 20% makes it worthwhile to switch, now that he is spending his own money :)

    ReplyDelete
  122. Make it first rounder and you got it.

I just got through re-living the Bo Years. He was definitely something special.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Cincy, I don't have any first hand knowledge, but from what I have read the HTC Evo is going to be something special.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Man, it looks like the Evo may be only on Sprint. Sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  125. My sunglasses broke today... I'm in dire need of a new pair. Would anyone like to donate to the "Save Miller's Eyes Fund"? Our goal is to raise $150 by the end of the week....

  126. Does anyone have T-Mobile? I get an upgrade on the 18th and was wondering what some of you who are in to that kind of thing think of their phones?

  127. Since I didn't caveat for injury, ineligibility, or anything else, I'll still to my offer.

  128. CH ...

I've always "heard," but don't know, that T-Mobile and AT&T have a sharing agreement on towers, and that they are the same. Translated, not that great.

Verizon and Alltel seem to have better coverage in Alabama, in my opinion.

I have an AT&T for work, and my fam has Verizon.

  129. If I recall correctly, Verizon purchased Alltel last year which would explain the sharing agreement. Our personal cells are Verizon and my work is Sprint. I'm not pleased with Sprint at all. I've had very little issues with Verizon. The only exception there is whenever we go to Seagrove, FL (which may not be for awhile now), we have absolutely zero coverage on either cell. It's constantly searching for a tower so that drains the battery completely.

  130. Thanks Jet, but I was talking about their devices. I've had T-mobile service for 8 yrs now and have never really had a problem.

  131. Uh, CH=B ... mobile "devices" ain't legal in Alabama.
