He believes in a great defense, a solid running game and special teams. For the most part, he has consitently provided that over his tenure. The missing component has always been consistency with the O. Fix that and we're right back in the hunt.AUBigCathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15353502628966209209noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23235343.post-32176069124413207832008-12-02T09:53:00.000-06:002008-12-02T09:53:00.000-06:00I think I posted this before:This year is like 198...I think I posted this before:

This year is like 1980 (winless in the league), 1991 (big slip after slight slip in '90), and 1998 (train wreck after winning division).

In 1980, Barfield out, Dye in. But actually, we played LSU fairly early in the season and we moved the ball much better than I had anticipated.

The decision on Tuberville has to be based upon a lot of things, some that we are not fully aware of. I guess the basic question is can another coach come in and do a significantly better job. I have my doubts. I have heard Tuberville's reign referred to as the hey day of Auburn football, and that is very close to correct, although Dyes three SEC titles in three years is very impressive also.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16460464224141986657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23235343.post-83221641331889070902008-12-02T09:46:00.000-06:002008-12-02T09:46:00.000-06:00Tuberville is an excellent golfer, correct?
