Auburn update, 8/1

Hey everyone. Today is Reporting Day for newcomers. We meet with the kids at 5:30 p.m., so I'll post a roster once I see who arrived and who didn't.

Always a fun day. The season starts now. The old days were better when freshmen spent a few days on the practice fields by themselves, leading to classic moments like Terry Price v. Ryan Bushey. Poor kid couldn't handle the heat, doubled over and started yacking in his helmet.

And there was Price, down on his knees and yelling directly into the kid's ear.

Bushey's Auburn career ended there. Sounds mean, I know, but it was quite a spectacle. Bushey's teammates had worked out during the summer and were prepared for the heat. He hadn't been working out. It happens.
