Auburn update, 1-29
Hey everyone. I case you didn't see, Auburn added a 22nd commitment on Sunday night when Arkansas linebacker Adam Herring announced that he'll play on the Plains next season.
I know he isn't highly touted. Rivals gives him 3 stars; Scout gives him two.
Yet he was the main defensive player on a team that went 14-0 this season, and his dad is University of Arkansas defensive coordinator Reggie Herring. It's obvious that the kid has some serious aptitude, and players like that (Will Herring, SenDerrick Marks and Eric Brock come to mind) always should have a home with a successful college program.
I walked away from my family's construction business years ago because I didn't want to work with my peeps. I like them. I love most of them. I just wanted to branch out on my own, do my own thing, and so I got into this trade. I'm glad I did it.
So when Adam Herring says that he really couldn't play at Arkansas with his dad ... that concept makes total sense to me.

I don't think he'll ever play for AU.
