Jay, I tell you man i never get tired of gettn in the office in the morning, getting my coffee adnthen coming to the HABOTN adn gettn my AU swurve infor on.... keep up the great work and vids.... remember we are the HOTTIE Nation!!!!
During the final segment of the video, you can hear me ribbing Sen'Derrick.
Here's the background.
Sen and Tray Blackmon are roommates. During an interview two years ago, Sen said he and Tray often sit around and watch "Law & Order" for hours at a time. I got a laugh out of that. I mean, really, those guys watching that show?
ESPN PREDICTION Southern Miss 23, Auburn 20 The Golden Eagles' recent history against SEC teams isn't good. After all, they haven't beaten anyone from the SEC since knocking off Alabama in 2000, but I think USM's array of skill talent will keep things very interesting, making enough big plays while the Auburn offense continues to try to get into a rhythm.
Well, you know, regional/national writers look at the Auburn-ULM game and see major offensive problems. Southern Miss is coming off a 30-point drubbing of La.-Lafayette.
This kind of prediction makes logical sense.
I think Auburn will win by 10, but I don't foresee a blowout.
But I've been wrong before. Although I had the point spread just about right last week. Good thing LAMO didn't score.
Wuddup Crudup
aunmobile: I know what you mean about rap and other things. I walk around thinking I'm pretty hip and up on the times, then I talk to somebody 27 and I walk away feeling like my dad. I don't even know what we were talking about.
Guys, this is going to be a steady drubbing of So Miss if you consider AU scoring over 40 pts and holding So Miss under 17. Brandon Cox is not the 11:30 AM QB this time.
As much as I've ribbed CT, he'll do OK Saturday and, more importantly, the tailbacks and receivers will catch the balle..making CT look like a decent backup QB.
Burns will do his thing on the ground and he'll connect a couple deep shots downfield. Montez Billings will be a much appreciated by the QBs this weekend. He gets open and he catches the ball period.
I keep thinking he's turning the corner and he makes bad decisions in crunch time still. He's got to win a game or two when it's on the line to prove his worth as a steadt NFL starter.
JGT.....Nice article on Tez. What a testimony of perseverance.
USM will stack the box and dare us to pass. We will have to open up the passing game and unfortunately put some plays on game film. Once they back off, we can resume running and keep the ball out of their offense's hands.
I've got huge confidence in our D. The first team D will stuff the USM run and hold them to 3 points. The USM Offense will get maybe a TD against the 2nd team D in the 2nd half. AU:27 USM:10.
The way it ended up last week, ULM did have veruy strong linebackers. I watched them quite a bit after reading the scouting reports and Jay's comments here. They were a factor vs. our passing game and also controlling long running plays. USM will not have that. They can stack the box all they want.
Back one day in 1973, the man Bear Bryant put his hand upon my knee. I said hello sir, how are you today? He said very well, now run along and play.
I said, Mr Bear, I don't think that's fair. I says you know why? He says apple pie? I said no siree you missed the count by three. He said I don't know, I'd rather snort some snow.
Well I said that's that. I think I've seen it all. He said no you hadn't. I gotta make a call. Guess who it was on the other line right then? Why it was Willie, Joe and he was drinkin' gin.
Phred, I'm pretty sure you just delivered the theme song of this blog. Jay? Can we make it official? Now who do you know in the Gump that can record the song?
