First quarter
Here we go ...- GENERAL ASSESSMENT: Good start for Auburn. Aside from the first drive, which was moving forward until another Lee Ziemba penalty, the Tigers have been playing better than expected on offense. Defense played well until the first 2 minutes of the period. The quarter ended with Tennessee facing a 2nd-and-15 from the AU 39. This is the Vols' most significant challenge of the game.
- AUBURN 7, TENNESSEE 0: Robert Dunn catches an 18-yard pass from Chris Todd. Really impressive drive. Best drive of the year? They did it all: Run, pass, convert a third down with a smart pass, good pass on the touchdown, Mario Fannin making plays. Pretty impressive.
- Auburn's first drive undone by a penalty. That never happens.
- Opponents now 7 of 61 on third down this season.

Did anyone else notice that the TD pass wasn't as floaty as usual?
also, why is mario lining up at QB before Burns? I'm happy to see mario in, but Kodi is better at running out of the QB position. Maybe Kodi was secretly redshirted?
We had them 2nd and 15 twice and gave up plays of 10 and 9 yards on 2nd down to give them an easier 3rd down.

why can't they get Ziemba to LEARN how not to jump, hold, get caught doing so?
Ziemba's play this season may be the biggest surprise. He was really good last year.
