Hope to make it to this one. I am a work at home person and have some stuff to get done. How much I work depends upon the mood. Sometimes I get buried in it.
Funny story about Yox. When every player, Coach, Manager, Trainer..so on come to Auburn, they all have to perform a skit in front of the team and personnel that have been there previously. If its not funny, you will get booed out of the room, and the team always has a short trigger finger. All the stength coaches and Philip Lolley at the time came in to the room one at a time and brushed their teeth and with the same tooth brush and rinsed their mouth with mouthwash and spit it into a cup. By the time Yox got there, he was the 4th guy. He brushes his teeth with the same tooth brush and instead of doing the mouth wash he drinks the mouth was that spit into the cup by the previous four people. It was the sickest thing I ever saw and trust me, it got the attention of the whole team. You don't mess with Yox. Sorry, couldn't help but share that story.
Thats definitely Yox for your. I only got to know him one year, but he is cool dude. He is very nice, but he can sure be intimidating when he wants to. Good job on the 100lbs. I'm down 34 and still need to get down another 60 pounds. Not easy at all.
Jay - You've probably already seen it, but "The Press Box" is on NFL Lost Treasures right now. It's about the media's coverage of the NFL. Really interesting perspective of the coach, player and sports writer and the tensions that exist between.
monica - no disrespect meant with the comment earlier today. i have 5 sisters all of which are just as diehard as i am when it comes to auburn. i also know several girls who think a touchdown is a dance move.
so sorry of it seemed like a shot - there was no intent
cotton shall be present.
ReplyDeleteI've seen Yox in person. I wouldn't want him adjusting anything I've got, attitude or otherwise.
ReplyDelete9:30 campfire? In it to win it, good Lord willing and the creek don't rise.
ReplyDeleteaight so I am leaving the computer to gain my zen via reruns of "house" so HOTTIES see you at 9:30 or so..the juice will be flowing by that time..

ReplyDeleteMontez says ... I'm still 100% committed.
ReplyDeleteYox is a good dude.
ReplyDeleteBack when I was in weight-loss mode, he gave me a lot of pointers.
Also, one assistant laughed at me when I asked Yox about going through one of his preseason workouts.
Yox turns to this coach and said: "This man just lost 100 pounds. If he says he can do it, you ought to take him at his word."
The other coach walked away, shamed.

You are an therapist and artist.
