Schedule update

Tony, we hardly knew ye.

Hey everyone. Monday was a great day for comments. We cracked the 250 barrier, which is sensational. I can safely say that thousands (plural) of people are Feeling The Heat® each day. It's a testament to your intelligent and rational commentary.

So thanks for that.

Auburn will practice this morning for the first time since the Arkansas game. Tommy Tuberville, defensive players and (allegedly) defensive cordinator Paul Rhoads will be made available for interviews afterward.

I'll Twitter any important news in real time. If that happens, it'll be between 10:30 and 11:30.

I'll then provide a Tuberville synopsis around 12, a video no later than 2 and other updates at times of my choosing.

If significant news breaks, we'll hold an afternoon campfire.

If you all are free at 2 p.m. today, tune in to the Gridiron Rewind for a 30 minute recap of the past weekend of football from Mr. Sensible & The Plauw.

    Thanks fellas.

I'm curious to read/hear the defensive updates today. They really got pushed around Saturday so I'm betting they are hungry to fix it and get ready for that speedy bunch in Morgantown.

I've been looking for the Youtube clip of the best song ever with the lyrics "feel the heat."

It is, of course, from Boogie Nights.

All I've found so far is two guys doing a cover of it. But who could measure up to Dirk Digler and Reed Rothchild?

I like how any vague comment Jay posts about Auburn now gets everyone wondering what it could mean.

I hear ya, rk. I don't think Jay meant anything other than between 10:30 and 11:30 he'll have access to interviews. I don't think anything's going down.

    Bizarro Tommy (his normal self)

The most intersting comment was that he felt the team would be better next year. They may not win more games but they'll be better.

    Hmmm...

Members of the media are gathered around the athletic complex. I have not seen anything reported anywhere though. Jay do you know of anything? I just drove by the athletic complex and outside there are many members waiting on something. looks to me like more than normal for a Tuesday. Please post if you see anything reported.

  20. i love these Twitter updates.

Trotter currently working with the Varsity.

I watched some of Trotters highlight reels on Rivals from high school. I guess the thing that struck me the most was that his WR's ran better routes and made better catches than ours did. Other than that, he didn't look any better than Caudle and Burns coming out of high school. But, hey, you never know right?

  22. I wasn't trying to be cryptic.

    Seriously.

I was just laying out my coverage plans. Today was actually somewhat lame in terms of news.

  23. Anonymous12:28 PM

What do you mean by that?

  24. Anonymous12:40 PM

Great. They have a show dedicated to "grillin'" on air on WNSP.

BTW, the fuse the flavor in by marinating the meat.

    Marinate on that.

    ReplyDelete
  25. So marinating meat actually makes the meat taste more like the marinade upon serving?

Why isn't this on CNN right now?

  26. Hey- back to my question-- I think that's a compliment to Jay. He's clearly on the cutting edge, so if I think (or am so on edge about all this) he's got a tip he's working on- -I'm interested. That's all.
