  2. I would say "YAY! There's a campfire", but that could be construed as lame.

So I will say "Hot DAMN!" instead.

    See everybody at 9.

As Rick Flair would say. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

    ReplyDelete
  4. I will join if I am not busy watching the Obama Info Commercial tonight.

    can't wait for the campfire!

    Jay,
    Thanks for the help

    ReplyDelete
  8. i think i added a new pick to my profile. if it shows up, it's just a pic of my DOGS' medications. sad, really....

    ReplyDelete
  9. NO! to whoever asked. Jay cannot post some "regular schedule" for Campfires!

Don't you get that the anticipation is part of the joy of the thing!? Will he give us the sweet warmth of the Fire tonight? Will he ignite the embers that smolder between our encounters??

    Wait...what was I talking about?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Do we just show up here? Or do we have to register for something else?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Anonymous6:37 PM

I'll be there in my Crimson and White leisure suit.

    ReplyDelete
  12. biscuiteater - it's best if you go to chatroll.com, get yourself an account and "join the forum" of HABOTN

    ReplyDelete
  13. I'll do my best to make it. Been a loooooooong day today.

I see there isn't much earth shattering going on other than Wario having no clue if the other team adjusted or not.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Jay G,
Sportsline is the morning show on 740...you know hosted by Longshore and the Other guy Do you not like it?

    ReplyDelete
  15. I also would suggest registering at ChatRoll's website.

Once you're enrolled, search for "HABOTN Campfire" and you'll be set.

I encourage enrollment because my goal is to do a members-only chat soon. That would cut down on the number of posts, which would slow down the conversation to a manageable pace.

To answer the question from the previous blog posting...

Yep, I do know the Boochie Shepherd guys. I knew Brandon Mc (the singer)back in the college days. I've only met the other guys a couple times, but they are good guys.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Monica,

It saddens me that you did not get my name correct.

    (INSERT SAD FACE PICTURE HERE)

    ReplyDelete
  18. I did it intentionally! When I see you name it comes out biscuit eater in my head. Be happy. Smile!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Oh, that sportsline.

I don't like John Longshore. I frequently have discussed my opinion of him, his level of professionalism and the lame (and inaccurate) weight barbs he threw at me for years.

Making fun of a sports writer for being fat is like ripping NOW for being too woman-centric. Duh.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Anonymous6:48 PM

As I posted before, Sportsline is half good.

And that half is Barry McKnight.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Anonymous6:48 PM

you helped me figure out how to work this blog!

    ReplyDelete
  22. THUD

    snort

    hahahahahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  23. Sorry Jay I agree that the attacks are unwarranted. I know that some of the callers have taken unreasonable attacks at you too. But as someone who calls on a regular basis and doesn't attack you there is some support on sportsline for you!

    ReplyDelete
  24. We all know what's wrong with someone who tries to take personal shots in order to have something to say on the air or otherwise. And that's all I'll say about THAT.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Anonymous6:53 PM

Biscuitator, what name do you use on Sportsline?

    ReplyDelete
  26. you probably wouldn't know me...

    ReplyDelete
  27. Anonymous6:56 PM

Has Monica got it bad for Jay G or
    is that just my opinion?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Fake, you better not get too close to the Campfire in all that polyester.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I love Jay G. deeply. You got a problem with that?

    ReplyDelete
  30. BTW...Jay digging the green shirt in the pic at the campfire.

Back to Auburn stuff...anybody got thoughts on how the D will handle the "Wild Rebel?"

    ReplyDelete
  32. Anonymous7:02 PM

That's the Ole Miss Single Wing formation for those who don't know?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Green shirt = 2004 Mexico soccer jersey

    ReplyDelete
  34. Anonymous7:05 PM

If Auburn's lucky Ole Myth will run the Wild Rebel about six times too many....just like they did against Alabama. The Wild Rebel was a dud a few weeks ago.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Anonymous7:06 PM

Yeah, that jump pass was ill-timed and ill-used in my opinion, fakestevejobs.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Viva la Mexico!

    ReplyDelete
  37. this is what I got when I tried to register.. We're sorry, Chatroll is offline due to high traffic or scheduled maintenance.

We're working hard to bring your service back as soon as possible!

    Sincerely ~ The Chatroll Team.....

    sup with that?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Anonymous7:15 PM

How could Wario not notice the LBs about 2 yds off the line of scrimmage in the second half? Or..the Safeties as close as 6 yds instead of 12 yds? Maybe the swarming wall of defenders should have been a hint.

WVa had no problem covering our WRs deep ....even with their D "schooshed" up.

Maybe UT Martin will respect our WRs!....play back and let us run down their throats. It will be deemed to be great playcalling.

    ReplyDelete
  39. apparently chatroll wasn't ready for HABOTN! Burned up some more servers. But don't think that this has anything to do w/Obama's Commercial...it's all due to HABOTN.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Jay do you know if Moon is dressing up as Chris Daughtry for Halloween?

    ReplyDelete
  41. I'm all registered and ready to roast some marshmellows...

    ReplyDelete
  42. I believe in fairness, so if you are going to criticize anyone, you should be considerate and criticize everyone.

As for the Ole Miss wild rebel, I am not sure what we will do there. I got the impression from CPR's comments that the defense is going to work on taking care of individual assignments and not trying to "help out" teammates. Apparently players were getting out of position because they were trying to do more than there job.

    ReplyDelete
  43. See yall at the campfire...

    ReplyDelete
  44. Anonymous7:21 PM

Jay have you heard anything about any commits jumping ship?

    ReplyDelete
  45. i must say that i knew i was destined to be a hottie when i say all of the references about yeungling which is my absolute favorite beverage.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think I will adjust my expectations for Saturday's game. I hope we make them punt more times than West Virginia punted.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Quote: "I believe in fairness, so if you are going to criticize anyone, you should be considerate and criticize everyone."

steve, you're beginning to sound more like Zen-Master Phreddie. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  48. dues/dudettes, i totally meant "mountain" in post #6. is there such a thing as a freudian typo/

    ReplyDelete
  49. Hahaha, thanks Scottie, I will take that as a complement:)

    ReplyDelete
  50. Hey guys and gals. The Wild Rebel can be stopped by playing gaps and staying home. If we do that, they will more than likely make a mistake. Our D is capable of playing better than what we have seen the last few games. I think it will play better. I think we will win this game. I didn't have a good feeling at WV but I do here. I've been pretty numb lately, but I'm starting to get my senses back. I believe we will really see improvement and I believe that Tubs will not state at halftime that "we are going to open it up" in the second half.

    I believe...

    I believe...

    I BELIEVE IN AUBURN!!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. JG, just wanted to give you some more props. i'm actually at my second job where i'm not supposed to be on the computer (i know, i know, i can't help it). thus, to get the HABOTN i have to google it each week and i always end up in the 'archives' somehow. last year during IRON BOWL week every daily post had between 9-13 posts each. 9 RESPONSES A DAY!!!! boy, how a year can change things, eh dawg? the fire continues to spread. thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  52. we made it through that i'm just glad that Jay G. would never sell the space of HABOTN to anyone to get their message across!

    ReplyDelete
  53. oh, and Steve, i forgot, is Aubie on crack? get the brotha some Visine dude! he's freakin' me out. ha.

    ReplyDelete
  54. on Mario's answer ... I think that was his way of saying "next question."

    ReplyDelete
  55. so her it is HOTTIES. and it's the reason I may never make it into the Rof..but it's honesty..I get up early(5:30) and I like to drink all that equals to 9 being to late for a campfire for me..I love this stuff..so Jay I apologize if I don't make it. Know this..I am a true AU HOTTIE..I found this out b/c a few plp I thought were AU fans have all of a sudden become indifferent. I don't want to complain about the time of a campfire and I may still make it but just thought a little honesty may be a breath of fresh air rather than some poor excuse. No it isn't justified..and whether or not I ever make it into the Rof at least I told it straight up..I love this stuff man and when I said I'd pay for it I meant it regardless on my participation in a lateish campfire...so no complaints..i just am what I am....

    ReplyDelete
  56. scottie, Aubie has been having a bad week. The stress is getting too much. We need a football game. We could also use an offensive coordinator. Actually, I think find Auburn's offensive coordinator would be a good topic for a book, such as Where's Waldo.

    ReplyDelete
  57. All right. Time for Preditions on this weeks game.

    I say Auburn 24-17.

    ReplyDelete
  58. and phred you are still the man..hang on to that pic or I may try to steal it...

    ReplyDelete
  59. Anonymous7:44 PM

I encourage all of you to read Jay G.'s blog posts from the Chick-Fil-A Bowl about the offense.

My my how long ago that seems now...

    ReplyDelete
  60. I don't think attending campfires should be a requirement for getting into the RoF. Maybe we could accept naming all the coordinators Auburn has had under Tuberville would be a fair substitute.

    ReplyDelete
  61. so, wartiger, are you saying you have to get up at 5:30 to start drinking? i'm confused.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I don't want to make a prediction this week. I hate to be cynical, but being paranoid just wasn't working for me.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Looks like it to me eddie, or I am out:)

    ReplyDelete
  68. i can name all of the coordinators. However i am aware that i've got to pay my dues. However i would like to get my pledge name.

Looks like the rays may have lost this one. Atleast not a good start.

    ReplyDelete
  69. i said "must compensate" let me rephrase..."have no choice but to fall asleep"

    ReplyDelete
  70. So he averages one cordinator a year. That must make the potential new OC feel good. Especially the stability of this position. Or maybe they sell the buyout at the beginning in order to lure the OC.

  72. eddie it appears that due to the 2 previous posts that were deleted it took you 3 posts to get that right.

    ReplyDelete
  73. be here at 9 and you will know about the CAMPFIRE baby...it's a chance for quick commnets..

    ReplyDelete
  74. Damn Biscuitator, I knew I wasn't worthy, but gee wiz, way to call me out on the carpet :)!!!

I like the "hot seat" avatar, Eddie$.

But you should consider this one some time.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I see alot of deleted comments..what's the problem?

    ReplyDelete
  78. sorry eddie just thought that was funny. you are more than deserving but unfortunately a neophite like me gets no say so.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I like it Mr. S- I will use it in the near future. I'm going to keep changing avatar's until we win. Then I will keep that one for a little while. Kinda like growing your beard out.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Wartiger- You can call me on the carpet too if you would like. "I get it. I quit, but I get it"- Geico easier than a caveman.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I know fires are important..test your metal..you know..find out if you sit there for 20 min and try to think of something to say or if you really got what it takes to be in the Rof..I really hate missin the fires..especially b/c of my bad habits...

    ReplyDelete
  82. Sensible, who the heck is that pic of. i wasn't expecting that.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Anonymous7:59 PM

That's the 70s-80s rock singer, Eddie Money, ScottieB.

    He's still around I understand.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I like the campfires because it helps with my speed reading abilities. I feel that I am a better person for attending.

    ReplyDelete
  85. 1 hour to go and I am 7 beers into it..see my problem..by the time 9 rolls around I will be 9 to 10 beers into it and then I don't know what my phalanges will be doing....

    ReplyDelete
