AU-Georgia time set
Oh, yes they did.
Auburn's game against Georgia next weekend will begin at 11:30 a.m. This will be the Tigers' third game of the season to be broadcast by the Three Daves. Seems like a lot, sure, but I'm not used to covering a .500 team. So it goes.
Other SEC games:
South Carolina @ Florida -- 2:30 p.m. on CBS
Mississippi State @ Alabama - 6:45 p.m. on ESPN
Vanderbilt @ The University of Kentucky -- 8 p.m. on ESPN2

Should be the last time for the three Daves. Their contract is over with this year. So good ridence to the worst tv crew in america. At least they finally got HD.
Yes, but it's the most awful quality of HD ever. Their broadcast is worse than almost all the PPV broadcast except the Auburn Network.
Kinda glad it's an early kickoff. I hate waiting all day for what will more than likely be a loss.
so, did ESPN 2 have a pick before raycom?
If so, come on! Auburn may be bad, but the AU UGA game is much bigger than vandy-UK
Cotton- The Order of picking is:
1. CBS
2. ESPN
3. Raycom
4. ESPN
So we where the 3rd game selected.
I saw last week that ESPN 2 already had the Vandy/KY game scheduled.
Nothing like getting up at 7am and heading to Auburn for a football game.
ESPN 2 picked last week, yep.
Thats correct Just Win. CBS, ESPN & Raycom passed on the Vandy / UK game.
Jay, whats the schedule for the day? Tubs have the normal 3pm presser.
Any kind of special ceremony for the 3 Daves last Jordan-Hare broadcast? Would seem fitting in this wasteland of a season.
Yes. Presser @ 3.
Players, I'm guessing, around 5:30 in the p.m.
So those holes that Kodi found yesterday, we do realize that they won't be there vs UGA and Alabama, right?
Because someone probably needs to tell Kodi, so he doesn't try to run the ball every play.
Well RK, they could be there for Georgia. Georgia has decided to give up defense for the rest of the year.
From P Marshall's website. Lester- "We should beat both teams(UGA and Bama) by a good amount of points." Interesting.
Jay- You got to get more info on that Lester quote. I like the attitude, but boy that is bulletin board type stuff. Not that it matters.
After the UTM win, PM now thinks CTT stays. Has your percentage changed Jay?
Eddie, regarding Lester, I think it is a plan by Tubs to have UGA and Bama laughing so hard we run right over them. Which might be the best plan we have had this season.
Tim- It maybe the only plan they have had all season.
What exactly should Lester say? "Man we suck. I told Coach I'm out. I've had enough of this s&%$!"
I don't really think they will have to worry about being over confident. Considering the situation and considering both UGA and bama can already smell blood, I'm thinking they don't really need any bulletin board material.
Maybe I'm just discouraged on the season, but it's hard to believe anything that happened yesterday helped Tubs. I mean flat performance, empty seats there is just NO buzz around this program. Of course P Marshall does hear things us fans don't.
We had 3 offensive TD's for just the 2nd time all year yesterday, it was against a 1-AA school who had us tied at 20-20 in the 3rd quarter. I don't see how that secured Tub's job.
Monica, it's nice to hear some confidence but I was thinking more like this:"I know we have struggled this season, but there is a lot of pride in this locker room and we are going to go out these last two games and show what AU football is really about." Not trying to knock Lester, just thought it was a strange choice of words.
As far as Tuberville's %, I don't yet feel comfortable changing the 75% figure.
If I had to shift that number one direction, though, I'd drop it. That's not based on anything that happened yesterday ...
When ya suck it like we do, you get a lot of 3 daves games.
My feeling is that if someone knew for sure that Tubs was comming back, then it would be known. I cannot believe that they would with-hold that info.
My guess is that a decision still has not been made or worse for Tubs.
Falcons are kicking butt. At least something is going good in my Football world.
I don't think PM meant the win kept his job - I think he meant not losing the game helped. You can read PM's commentary on his site.
anonymous Tim - I know what ya mean. That level of confidence seems surprising. Genuine or not I'd rather hear that from him than something not so positive.
PM said it was his well educated opinion that Tubs would be back.
Georgia will break us up, pick out the stems and seeds, and smoke us like snoop dog on a chocolate philly blunt. To save on carpal tunnel i'm not gonna jump into particulars and just gonna say we suck, that is all
I think this should be the lead quote on the blog:
Monica:
"Man we suck. I told Coach I'm out. I've had enough of this s&%$!"
