We like and respect The Blog out of Jackson, Miss., which is a fellow Gannett property. Kyle Veazey -- firm but fair.
Love the Knox quote: "I'm really excited about it," Knox said. "I always thought Mississippi State was a gold mine. Great place. Kids are going to want to come there."
He's a good blogger... and thorough

ReplyDeleteI'm the Dude. So that's what you call me.
ReplyDeleteWell...looks like we'll be able to put 11 men in the box when we play MSU.
ReplyDeleteFWIW, Knox is going to be the RB coach
ReplyDeleteMr. Jay G. Tate, today is the proudest day of my life.
ReplyDeleteJ-Z ...
ReplyDeletePlease notice my hat being tipped in your direction.
I think you may have earned a spot on the front page.
I wonder if coaches will continue to rip Knox for missing Jerrel Jernigan. Coaches never forget, I say.
ReplyDeleteAlright next stop on the recruiting trail is Biloxi. Who is down there?
ReplyDeleteCoaches not staying long in Gadsden :-(
ReplyDeleteLooks like they may be heading to see Demond Washington next.
DWash would be a great one to get.
ReplyDeleteFSJ alerted local REC militia, which sprayed gunfire in area of AU coaches, forcing them back onto plane.
ReplyDeleteDemond Washington is at Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C.

ReplyDeleteWell 2 hrs in Gadsden is not bad if they were just visiting Kelly since Dre is a lock to UA. The article from Monday in ref: Moseley said they were going to get Kelly to come on the 30th.
ReplyDeleteIn the quote in the post, I think Knox meant to say, "coal mine," not "gold mine."
ReplyDeleteOperation "Auburn Free Gadsden" is a success!!!
ReplyDeleteMichael ...
ReplyDeleteI thought it was "collapsed coal mine."
Lure FSJ in a false sense of security ... check.
ReplyDeleteOperation Get A "Lot" Out of Gomorrah is right on schedule.
I think I'll start a new thread for plane tracking. Why not?
ReplyDeleteIt is sad we track planes in relation to recruiting. I really need to get back to working. I am an aviation guy and I love Auburn Football so I guess it is ok.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Jay is trying to get to 1,000 by tomorrow ... is he a post padder? Or a blog bladder?
ReplyDeleteHmmmm.
DoWhat? the Biloxi trip was just for R&R
ReplyDeleteCoaches may or may not rag him for missing on Jernigan anymore. But, I will always hold it against him.
ReplyDeleteIf he's coach RBs then we shouldn't have to worry about backs catching anything out of the backfield from MSU.
Sad? Nah. It's fun.
ReplyDeleteJet -- I do something different with the jet stuff and now I'm a blog padder? Come on.
ReplyDeleteI can't help it ... I see the Cotton McKnight avatar ... and, well, it's open season.
ReplyDeleteHang in there. We're behind you 100 percent ... and a 100 yards away.
Would be great to sign the Myles Wade kid. Here is a link to a site that shows one of his work outs.

Say prayers for Dan Mullen and Mark Hudspeth. The MSU offense just took a big step backwards.
ReplyDeleteI have heard Mississippi State called many things. A gold mine is not one of them.
ReplyDeletePoor MSU.
