Saturday chillin'

Hey everyone. A couple of our favorite associates, Johnny and Shea, have taken The Daughter this afternoon ... so me and Wifey are going to kick it around Montgomery solo for a while.

I'm not planning to accomplish much professionally today.

Tomorrow will be much different. I'm planning to talk with Auburn's official visitors in the morning and get some reaction. I'll also be covering the Florida @ Auburn women's game at 2 p.m. Auburn is really good. Florida is really good. Should be engaging.

I'll be around tonight for more HABOTN banter.

I don't understand the quote that introduces the site. Every comment I've heard or read about Malzahn was incredibly positive. Most put it in the category of the Iron Bowl leaving B'ham. "End of days????"

If the comment was ever accurate, it's certainly dated now. Time for an update.

    LETS GO RAVENS!!!

If they lose, I will be done with all of this. Until then,

  7. Oh where oh where could my OL coach be, oh where oh where could he beeeeeee?

    ReplyDelete
  8. He's at Okie State like the rest of the staff, Griff

    ReplyDelete
  9. Tigerfan, goodness that is crazy. Talk about some morons, they new the cameras were there yet the coaches still attacked the players.

    ReplyDelete
  10. So after seeing that tigerfan I had to check on Taurean. here's what I found:

After being dismissed from Florida he went to Bethune-Cookman and went undrafted in 2007. He went to a Pro Day for the NFL in March 07.

    Height: 6012
    Weight: 243

-2nd team All-MEAC w/94 TT, 8.5 TFL, 3.5 SK, 2 PBU, QBH, 3 FF in '05. Suspended for '04, dismissed from Florida after pleading guilty to culpable negligence in '04 for allegedly throwing a keg at a party, breaking a patron's nose and knocking him unconscious. Sentenced to time served (4 days). Also pled no contest to misdemeanor battery for throwing girl across dorm room in '03. 5 TT, TFL in '03. Redshirted '02.

  11. You've almost made me want to cheer against your Ravens.

  12. to continue a theme from previos thread: loved "blazing saddles". I first saw it at a drive in in huntsvillee, visiting my late cousin and his folks. he had convinced his dad that we wanted to see a "good western". My uncle looked at the film's title and said "sure, let's go." It wasn't but about a minute into the movie that he realized he had been had. still, even he liked it. oh, put me down as against on the rapist guy. some activity is easier to rehab out of than others.

    ReplyDelete
  13. should have typed "previous" and "huntsville"

    ReplyDelete
  14. Tommy, wonder where he was taught about fighting. Oh wait a minute that was his coach who he was fighting with. My attempt at being sarcastic.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yeah tigerfan, its hard to believe he's had all those problems in school, like trying to smash someone's faqce in with a keg, or throwing a chick across a room. You would have thought all those coaches kicking his a$$ and loving him like a son would have helped him figure all that out.

    ReplyDelete
  16. My first Blazing Saddles viewing was oddly enough at a drive in, too. My uncle and the girl he was dating at the time, were keeping an eye on me while the folks were out. I climbed on top of the car and laughed so much that evidently the car shook for about an hour and a half.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Blazing Saddles is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. Its not unusual to hear me drop a quote from it in a usual day.

    ReplyDelete

Jimbo Fisher was sitting a row beneath me... he's a talker, worked the crowd. The whole time and didn't lay eyes on the game.

  19. Jan 23-25 going to be a big recruiting weekend...DL Jamar Travis, QB Tyrik Rollison, WR Rueban Randle(#1 player in nation per rivals), LB Petey Smith, WR Kendall Kelly, OL Johnny Farms, and WR Cobi Hamilton. Also possibly the #1 RB in the nation(per rivals)Bryce Brown.

  25. jan michael terri, you must repair your head. might i take the liberty to suggest a plumed hat and, perhaps, a zorro mask?

War Jan Terri on a Stick!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I love it when people say I got Jetgate information from their message board.

Here are a few other "scoops" I got from message boards:

*Brother Oliver will be the next full-time head coach (Nov 98)

*Auburn will trounce Southern Cal (Aug. 03)

*Jason Campbell broke his arm and won't play against Alabama (Nov 04)

*Tuberville has been fired (Nov. 03)

*The NCAA has sent a PLOI to Nick Saban; big investigation forthcoming (March 07)

... if they only knew which message boards I read and which ones I don't.

Here's a hint: I ready ITAT's board maybe three times per year. If they think I'm lying, have Mark Murphy post my stats ...

    ReplyDelete
  29. My name over there is 4th Estate.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Oh, and I have a comp account through Scout.com that precludes me from accessing the limited-access boards.

  34. I would be very excited to get the TraZy Rocker to come back home!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I guess it's a nerve.

Best thing I ever did was to stop reading message boards years ago. I think you'll agree -- there's a lot of misplaced venom and falsity roaming around many boards.

I'm just glad we have this lush valhalla here ...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Also looks like Johnny Farms from Perry Ga. is putting us back on the list. wow things are really looking good. I am trying not to get to fired up here but if we can land just a couple of the hi profile guys it would be outstanding.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Jay check out my youtube link, great coaching examples.

I'm Gatiger2 over there (4 posts). I just defended HABOTN on that thread also. I lurked for a while and decided it was a waste.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Why would Tray go ahead and go to CFL. Why wouldn't he see if he gets drafted first. Just making an NFL roster would pay a lot more than CFL.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I get very frustrated when I read some of the ridiculous statements made by Auburn and Alabama fans on other sites and immediately head back over here for some sanity.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Anonymous5:27 PM

JGT...Those guys are trying to catagorize you as a "scoop" guy. I consider you similar to PM (before ESPN).....accurate and no spin. PM loves AU and subconsciously lets it show. I also think ESPN is forcing him to put out more info than he can produce with quality.

    ReplyDelete
  42. i have given up other boards entirely. i barely even use my rivals subscription. i doubt i renew it.

JG, i thought you were out with wifey?

    ReplyDelete
  43. I can confirm that Charles' information is correct -- that Rocker has been approached by Auburn -- but I haven't had any luck getting on-the-record conformation just yet.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Scottie, I had to come back home to write a women's basketball story.

    Big game tomorrow.

I'm planning to head out again in a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Anonymous5:33 PM

TF44.....this is just a speculation, but he can probably get some kind of small, but guaranteed $$ deal in the CFL. A NFL deal would probably require him to go through tryouts. Looking from the outside/in...it seems that he needs to pay some bills.

I wish him well. I'll never forget the hit/fumble he put on the Cartersville,GA FB at the 1 yd line that allowed LaGrange to win in OT.

    ReplyDelete
  46. ahh, sweet relief. After an afternoon of errands and yard work, I'm back with my Hottie friends. Yea!!! And of course, WARRRRRR EAGLE!!!!!!!

p.s. I love Tracy Rocker. My favorite AU defensive player ever. Total class act.

    ReplyDelete
  47. We could argue all day about if PM loves Auburn. My contention is that he doesn't, but we'll save that one for another day.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Does anyone know the story on Onterrio McCallebb, the rb from Hargrave and committment from last year. Seems he may be enrolled at AU, but there is some confusion about if he is enrolled or not. Is he not qualified?

Also, what's the story on why Raven Gray left?

    ReplyDelete
  49. I thought I heard Onterrio McCallebb had one more final to take and should know something Monday. Not sure about that one.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Hoopie that makes since about Tray.
    Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  51. does au play sc in bball tonight?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Thanks Kathy. We need RB's big time. AS well as WR's, OL's, QB's, CB's. Well, you get the picture.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Raven Gray ... just wasn't working out. I was surprised by his attitude. He acted like he was Lawrence Taylor and should be a starter out of the gate.

His knee looked bad to me throughout two-a-days. He couldn't push off. He dropped out of school a long time ago. He's been gone a while.

I haven't seen McCalebb personally. Not sure on his status.

    ReplyDelete
  54. and here is another qustion. does anyone recruit coaches from the cfl? from what i read/hear it's pretty offense orineted. i know the rules/field are a bit different. just don't know...

    ReplyDelete
  55. Men's basketball plays at USC tonight, yes. I am not attending.

    ReplyDelete
  56. "qustion"? what kind of a word is that? meant 'question"

    ReplyDelete
  57. Thanks Jay. I knew he couldn't go early, but thought he was rehabbing the knee. Didn't know he had such a bad attitude. There goes another internet king!

Was Slaughter just a bad apple as well? He seemed to be in trouble a lot. I recall he was your pick for impact player of the year this year. Just shows talent doesn't get you there without having the right attitude, work ethic.

More and more, looking at our lack of talent in some areas, and putting 2 and 2 together, it looks like the former coaching staff was coasting.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I had heard the Rivals guy for the Arkansas site say on Sports Call one day he would be shocked if CGM and Tracy Rocker or Reggie Herring would coach on the same team due to conflicts they had at Arkansas.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I liked Chris Slaughter. He didn't seem like a behavioral problem to me. He did have this air about him that was similar to Raven Gray. Chris thought he should be the star.

Personally, I thought he had the talent to be a star. I'm just a sports writer, though ...

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hate to hear you do read messages boards, Jay. It kind of makes all my efforts to distribute misplaced venom and falsity kind of seem futile.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Wish he did BigCat!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Sponge, I was accused of having a "doomsday mentality", but the lack of quality recruits being brought in and STAYING on the roster is starting to show. Blackmon, R Williams and C Slaughter did little on the field, but all three had talent and were highly sought-after recruits. And all three played positions of need at the moment. Hope Chizik can stop the bleeding this year in recruiting. I don't think he can turn it around in this short of a time-frame, but hopefully he can steal a few and build momentum for the future.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Folks, don't worry too much about the players that are leaving. I would much rather have discontent players leave rather than hang around.

    ReplyDelete
  68. depressed, by choosing the nick you have and choosing to be depressed, I can't really blame someone for suggesting that.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Steve ... I didn't say I read Auburn message boards.

You're more likely to see me trolling the Rock Band boards.

  82. Hard to pick who to pull for, Tennesseee or Baltimore. I know we have one member that is a Baltimore fan, but Tennessee gets extra credit for the redneck flames on the sides of their helmets. It is really a tough call.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Zteve, my nickname was chosen in this season of misery. I am much more optimistic about this program now than I would have been if the old coaching staff had been retained. My point was that past mistakes in recruiting have taken their toll. Others may feel otherwise.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Zteve people say they dont care about stars but AU in general and CTT in particular get racked over the coals for not getting top recruits. I thought CTT did an excellent job of scouting and developing alot of talent that we had (WRs excluded). We know his philosopy was to scout early and recruit locally. Now we get to see if Chiz can bust the myth that you cant consistently recruit top talent at AU. He's off to a great start it looks like.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Anonymous6:26 PM

nice start to this bball game

    ReplyDelete
  86. I thought Tuberville brought in top talent, just not top stars.

By the way, Palm is about to come out with a new phone called the "Pre". Now, I wonder what marketing dude came up with that name?

  87. Welcome to the posting side of HABOTN, AdamsHouseCat!

  89. Lutzenkirchen is solid to Auburn now. Says he's done looking elsewhere. That's a huge score.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Anonymous6:39 PM

Congrats to the Ravens on a game well played and won.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Anonymous6:41 PM

I have heard Lutzenkirchen described as Trott with hands.

Hope that's true. Sounds promising nonetheless.

Mr. S - It was a snot knocker!

    ReplyDelete
  94. Monica, despite what some may think, I am not always a glass half-empty person. But anyone who takes an objective look at the AU program must see the decline. I don't call out players, but when a true freshman LB who you stole from Duke on signing day has to see meaningful playing time due to lack of depth that is a bad sign. And he played his heart out, so this is no slam om him. I just hope to see some life come back into the program. Last year there were some dead, listless crowds at J-H. I WANT us fans to have hope. Sorry for the sermon.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Glad to see that we got Lutz back.

Kinda random story, I was in Chicago last summer on vacation (kinda) and I was in Harry Caray's when I guy walks up to me and says War Eagle, and told me that that was Auburns next TE over there. He brings his son over and introduces him. Kinda strange running into a Auburn Commit when we were both half way across the country.

Ran into Eric Smith's little brother a few months ago. Sounded like he was going to end up a tiger as well.

    ReplyDelete
  99. does anyone know why SportsRadio 740 is not streaming the bb game live but is on regular radio?

    ReplyDelete
  100. Zteve sometimes you need the right coaching to cross the bridge from talent to star.

Lutzenkirchen is a HUGE deal. Trott has the best hands of anyone in the Spring. Maybe he's just not a Fall guy.

Monica any word on how much we are offering Rocker? $400,000 seems to our salary of choice these days.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Anonymous6:54 PM

I think there is some problem with streaming the AU Network games online - as in advertising issues or something.

    ReplyDelete
  102. I'm right there with ya, Depressed.

I don't see a number yet, BigCat. Just that it's a lot to entice Rocker to make a lateral move.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I would SO love to sit in on a visit with Chiz/Malzahn/Luper and hear them pitch.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Anonymous6:56 PM

Mr. S - You switched back pretty quick sir.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Has anyone commented on the fact that Utah is #2 in AP Poll? Think they'll make #1 in any poll?

    ReplyDelete
  106. Lutzenkirchen (noun, German in derivation) -- clutch receiver.

    ReplyDelete
  107. anyone watching the Panthers/Card game? Why is Daryl Johnson dressed like a used car salesman?

    ReplyDelete
  108. I think tracy rocker would be a good addition to the staff. I still think Glen Spencer is going to get hired even if Rocker comes. Spencer coached DB's at Duke under Ted Roof at one point. I'd be dissapointed if chizik hired Koonz to come with him even if he has a a Z in his name.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Daryl Johnston .. went to Syracuse ... need we say more?

    ReplyDelete
  110. This comment has been removed by the author.

  111. Auburn is getting killed by the gamecocks.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Anonymous7:31 PM

Denny - Good game for the redbirds today.

    ReplyDelete
  113. AU seems to be mounting a comeback of sorts.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I'd like to see us go after WR Jamal Patterson with things looking shaky with Harbaugh at Stanford.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I think we will get Rocker and Spencer from OSU. I look for CGM to get his own line coach. That is the most critical hire for them to get the ball rolling.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I know that Chiz has done a good job (bordering on great) of getting solid recruiters and coaches, but how BIG will it be for him to steal a STUD in the state from bammer

    ReplyDelete
  117. Monica,

I think I told you the other day about Randell being a lock for bammer. I was told today that he is coming over to stay with AJ for a few days next week.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Well, if he's meant to be a bamer he's just meant to be a bamer.

That AJ looks like he weighs 10 lbs soaking wet.

    ReplyDelete
  119. I know Chizik salary saved us some money but are we getting carried away on assistant coach's salaries.

    ReplyDelete
  120. AJ is a work in progress. You would have thought the bammer hit the lottery with him last year, remember he was a very early commit. You didn't hear much from this season because they had a very poor year at ST Paul's. He is very under weight and not very quick.

    ReplyDelete
  121. The salaries don't bother me. I like the fact of hiring strong assistants and hopefully it will make it tough for them to move on every year. Chiz goal should be to build stability with defections coming from moving on to head coaching jobs or corr.jobs. NOT lateral moves.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I think Chiz & Co. are doing just fine with hires.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Tubs was trying to get assistants more money for years it seemed. I like that we are spending this kind of money on our assistants.

We have identified several positions that need to be filled like WR,OL, etc but I think we might need to add DE to that list. We currently dont have one committed for 09. With the loss of Coleman, Gray and the commit of Robinson do you think Gabe McKenzie has to move back there for good next year??

    ReplyDelete
  124. I thought Randle had already had a scheduled visit for Alabama next weekend. Not's no surprise. I don't think he has stated a leader in interview I have seen. Hopefully he'll be able to visit Auburn that last weekend. I wouldn't want to have to play 2nd fiddle to Julio. Bama thinks he walks on water.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Tubs should have given his assistants some of his salary!

    ReplyDelete
  126. Arizona is surprising a few people tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  127. One good thing about high paid assistants is we don't have to worry about anyone stealing them unless they are moving up to head coaching or coordinator positions.

On paper, as far as assistants are concerned, I don't see spot so far that we have not upgraded or at least broke even. Highly impressed with Chiz's work so far.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Who is going to coach DB's , Roof or Willis.

    ReplyDelete
  129. glad to see Lutzencirchen is back in the fold. looks like Johnny Farms is coming in for an official. i didn't realize he had committed to S.Carolina then to N. Carolina. i guess we've got just as good a chance as anyone else.

i haven't read any updates about the bkb game. was it as ugly as the final score or were we competitive?

can't believe the Cardinals are stomping the Panthers. war damn Dansby and Hood!

    ReplyDelete
  130. Anonymous9:31 PM

    Bigcat,
Gabe is a senior this year coming up and Coleman is staying. Robinson has committed to UGA also.

    ReplyDelete
  131. hope everyone had a good Saturday. Have a good day in Auburn tomorrow, Mr. Tate.

    ReplyDelete
  132. So has anyone ever figured out why Roderick Hood wasn't good enough to start for Auburn but he has been good enough to start for the Eagles and Cardinals during successful playoff runs? Anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  133. I'm stoked about the Trazy Rocker thing. I'd still love to have Jimmy Brumbaugh back in the fold. He could be the official "heart and commitment" coach. If you gave me 11 Jimmy Brumbaughs, I could beat anybody in the league.

I wanted to name my son Brumbaugh...I got shot down.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Anonymous9:59 PM

I never remember Rod not starting. I know he did most of 2001 and all of 2002.

I remember his ghastly punt return vs uga in 02. It made me cry.

He just got a pick by the way.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Anonymous10:02 PM

Michael...my guess is that Hood is a late/slow starter. Ronnie Brown started slow in HS, at AU and in the NFL. Ronnie needs to understand and feel it in order to excel.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Jonathon Davis is a recruit who was committed to South Carolina, but they withdrew their scholarship offer. Should schools be as free-wheeling in making and breaking commitments as athletes?

    ReplyDelete
  137. Alan, the way I remember it, he started sporadically, but he did not start most of his senior year. He was a big deal punt returner.

So am I remembering things incorrectly? Is there somewhere online for this kind of info?

    ReplyDelete
  138. Anonymous10:10 PM

I'm getting confused myself now Michael. I know he started vs uf in 01. He was all over gafney that night. Tubs did like to play Horace Willis a lot in 2002 though. I'm losing my mind now.

    ReplyDelete

Just gotta keep bringing things back around everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Anonymous10:25 PM

As far as Slaughter goes...I kept waiting for a Jerry McGuire-type metamorphasis. The guy did not leave it all on the field. His elbows were always firmly protecting his ribs and he would not come back to the ball. In addition, he only ran a 4.6 and never got faster.

Tray Blackmon was a 5*. Bart Edins was a 5*, Kodi Burns was a 5*.

I just looked on Scout at our #6 and #9 rated 2006 and 2007 recruiting classes. The attrition from those classes is primarily the top talent. We also put a lot of trust into highly rated "project" type guys that haven't worked out or jilted us when finally becoming eligible.

Depressed....some uninvited advice...you might want to rethink that name....wearing your emo on your sleeve like that predesposes the opinions of some folks. Try "Phormerly Depressed" :)

  141. wooh... long day...

Random out of the blue question..... can anyone give me a ballpark figure on how much it would cost to replace a HVAC unit?

  142. This is my vote for best quote from a newer movie. Slightly past PG 13 rating here, so you may need avert your eyes if you are sensitive.

Burger Shack Employee: Ding-dong! May I interject for a second? As a Burger Shack employee for the past three years, if there's one thing I've learned, it's that if you're craving White Castle, the burgers here just don't cut it. In fact, just thinking about those tender little White Castle burgers with those little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in your mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one... just makes me want to burn this motherf%^&er down. Come on, Pookie, let's burn this motherf#@$er down! Come on, Pookie! Let's burn it, Pookie! Let's burn this motherf#$%er down! Let's burn it down! Let's burn it! So you guys maybe should just suck it up and go to White Castle.
Kumar: You can always get your work done in the car.
    Harold: Let's do it.
Kumar: All right. Awesome. Then listen, listen - no matter what, we are not ending this night without White Castle in our stomachs. Agreed?
    Harold: Agreed.
[shakes Kumar's hand then gives him pound]
Burger Shack Employee: Wise choice. You guys might have wanted to stay away from our special sauce tonight. Me and Pookie, we added a secret ingredient. I'll give you a hint. It's semen.
    [bursts out laughing]
    Harold: [Smirks] Semen.
    Burger Shack Employee: Animal semen.
[Harold and Kumar scream and drive off as fast as possible]

Super funny movie. The Neil Patrick Harris cameo alone is worth the price of a rental if you've never seen it.

  143. j-z - I've wondered about that one and Napoleon Dynamite. My kids loved 'em, but I'm wondering if I need to be with the right crowd to watch them.

D Miller...if it is a Heat pump (one unit-heating and cooling), then it is $2000 per ton. THis is ball park, but a ton serves 500-600 sf. So an 1800 sf area would need 4 tons and cost $5k to $6k.

If it is a "split system"(outside condenser and inside heating/fan unit), then it depends on whether the heating or cooling portion is broken. Split systems cost less per ton to repair/replace. If you are not too uncomfortable--get prices from several companies, times are tuff and prices vary greatly among contractors.

  145. A lot of people think Ronnie Brown was a late bloomer, or a sleeper that Auburn found. That's not really accurate. He played in Cartersville, a little town north of Atlanta, and could have gone anywhere he wanted. His final three were Georgia, Tennessee and Auburn, and he finally picked us over Tennessee. Rivals had him as a 4 star. We in Georgia watched his recruiting with great interest, similar to Cadillac's in Alabama.

  146. Thanks Hoopie....
One of the houses we looked at today (the one we like the most) had the HVAC stolen shortly after house being put on market... Since we're strongly considering putting in an offer, I'm trying to figure out how much to write an allowance into an offer to replace it...

According to Ronnie's relatives that have worked with my wife. UT offered Ronnie a scholly to play safety. He only got the 4 star rating late his Sr. year. His Sr. year was my first year to seriously follow Cartersville. At the beginning of his Sr. season many CHS folks only expected him to get offers from mid level D1 schools.

If I remember correctly, he shared starting time at Rb his Jr year.

D Miller...Thiefs normally only steal AC condensers(the small outside unit), rather than heat pumps. The AC condensors have the most copper per effort.

You should be able to get that replaced for $800-$1200 per ton.

  149. UT definitely offered Ronnie at running back. But whatever - he was well known and widely recruited. Not a sleeper.

I have a friend who played center for the Buffalo Bills. He quit after three years because he was smallish and had lots of (primarily shoulder) injuries. A team doctor finally told him his body wasn't designed for pro ball and he should probably give it up. I think about him with Ronnie and Carnell, and especially Carnell's string of injuries. Ronnie's had injuries, but I think he's got a pro ball frame.

An interesting conversation is to listen to my friend talk about steroid use in the pro's.

  158. I'm disgusted with AU men FT pct. Are they going to break the NCAA season record for poorest team FT pct?

  159. We've been a horrible FT shooting team since Lebo came to Auburn.

You'd think a guy who learned under Dean Smith would have a clue about fundamentals.

    ReplyDelete
  160. TarHeel,

You mean 6 of 14 free throw shooting isn't good?

What about if you add in 6 of 21 from the three point line?

    ReplyDelete
  161. Does anyone have an idea on how many more commits we could take? Rivals has us at 20, but i figure with freeman and fairly enrolling early they could count towards last years.

  162. The men's BB team may have won a few more games this year, but I think it's due to having fewer injuries to key players than it from great coaching. I have yet to see a hint of this team being well coached. Too many sloppy turnovers and turrible FT shooting. I just fail to see the progress. At this point, 5 years into the Lebo experiment, I don't think we should be begging for a little progress. We should have seen it by now.
