- FINAL
Auburn wins, 85-49. - FOURTH TO @ 5:!5, 2nd
Auburn leads, 76-49. Out of control. Auburn is so good in transition. - THIRD TO @ 7:39, 2nd
Auburn leads, 69-49. They're trading baskets now, but Lehigh is doomed. - SECOND TO @ 11:24, 2nd
Auburn leads, 62-40. KeKe Carrier is in the game. She's 2-for-2 from the floor so far. If the Tigers want to make the Final Four, Carrier will have to emerge as a competent, reliable option off the bench. - FIRST TO @ 15:59, 2nd
Auburn leads, 54-34. Lehigh actually has gotten a few good shots. They cannot finish. It's obvious to anyone watching this game that DeWanna Bonner is more than Lehigh can handle. They can't properly staff that defensive matchup. - HALFTIME
Auburn leads, 45-30. - Game is on:

ReplyDeleteYESSSSS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI was just remembering the days when getting to 100 posts was A REAL BIG DEAL.
Hope you're feeling better Jay G.
ReplyDeleteJay GT- Best wishes for a speedy recovery and no ill effects from the antibiotic.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteglad you'll feel good enough to join us! that's taking one for the team!
ReplyDeleteI know I posted this on the previous thread...but just wanted to say Congrats to Whitney Boddie who is now Auburn's all time leader is assists....
ReplyDeleteLehigh cannot finish.
ReplyDeleteThat's three fouls on Whitney.
ReplyDelete52-34
ReplyDelete54-34.
ReplyDeleteMan, I wish Bonner could teach our guys how to hit free throws. She makes it look so effortless.
ReplyDeleteWhere is Lehigh?
ReplyDeleteBethelehem, Pa.
ReplyDeleteChantel Hilliard drew Her Daily Charge®, I see.
ReplyDeleteYou think they could have made the Rutgers R in mid-court a little bit bigger?
ReplyDeleteJay G, so do you feel well enough to go live blog the baseball game from Plainsman Park?
ReplyDeleteOh, and thanks for being here.
Haha. one of the players fell out of bounds and landed on aubie.
ReplyDeleteSore throat? Less talky talky, more HABOTN.....
ReplyDeleteis Aubie okay?
ReplyDeletego big gul!
ReplyDeleteNo baseball in my immediate future ...
ReplyDeleteWeak foul on Keek there.
ReplyDeleteI have a crush on Boddie, love the hair puffs!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't see how that was a foul on Carrier. All ball, there.
ReplyDeleteTheir 44 is hotter than our 44.
ReplyDeleteIs this impressive?!
ReplyDeletePoor KeKe....the refs really don't give her a chance, do they?
ReplyDeleteThanx for the channel info J. I was watching the round robin on the deuce.
ReplyDeleteHoly Spring Break traffic, batman! Guess nobody told midwestern college students that there's a recession.
ReplyDeletedeuce=crap
ReplyDeleteKeek with 6 now.
ReplyDeleteKeKe is so graceful...
ReplyDeleteI have a picture of Keek standing alongside Alli.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny to me.
I love KeKe!
ReplyDeleteSXSW on the 101 this weekend if anyone cares. Also check out Trailer Park Boys on the 101 every week.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Cincy!
ReplyDeleteI am convinced that there is no broadcast available that meets the Hotties' standards.
ReplyDeleteali!
ReplyDeleteNell lookin sharp in the blue today.
ReplyDeletePeter, I agree...Jay needs to start the HABOTN network.
ReplyDeleteAU parking deck is the place to be for baseball today!!!!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't have a better day for baseball.
ReplyDeleteyeah, the commentators also commented on Nell's blue coat
ReplyDeleteNova up on UCLA 33-18 1st half...
ReplyDeletewow..just heard the pep band...is that kids from NJ gone home or did AU send them?
ReplyDeleteJay, how did Rutgers end up with the two home game possibilies being a lower seed? Is it just where the regions are located?
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome!!! The lens was on her face. I have them and drop them in the sink all the time.
ReplyDeleteThe schools/sites bid on these brackets. Auburn didn't submit a bid.
ReplyDeleteGotcha. Prechae, alah she said.
ReplyDeletekeke is so much bigger/taller
ReplyDeleteKeek is not a FT shooter.
ReplyDeleteNell seems relaxed
ReplyDeletescore?
ReplyDelete79-49...hope this doesn't make them too relaxed
ReplyDelete79 49
ReplyDelete79-49 at 3:00
ReplyDeleteKeek!
ReplyDeleteI love watching the AU women play! They play so well. Sorry you're feeling bad, Jay. Must be all that "Yankee" air up there. AU men looked great last night.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty cool...every player for Auburn has scored in this game.
ReplyDeleteNice yell....It's Great to be an Auburn Tiger!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a bludgeoning. Goodness.
ReplyDeleteFINAL: 85-49.
ReplyDeleteWar Eagle!!
ReplyDeleteGreat AU w/e so far! Let's go baseball and tennis and gymnastics!! Thanks for hanging in there with us Jay!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Miss State will beat Texas. Nice.
ReplyDeleteI'm disappointed. I thought they could have won by 50.
ReplyDeleteLeaving NO doubt ladies!
ReplyDeleteThanks for watching along with me!
ReplyDeleteSee ya later Hotties...better get to the Sat morn chores. War Eagle!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE KEKE CARRIER
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Well done Lady Tigers.
ReplyDeleteHope you get better soon JGT. Being sick is the pits.
Off to the gym and then...tada! To the AUPD. (AU Parking Deck) Everyone welcome. Later.
ReplyDeleteTrue or False - Auburn would've beaten UCLA today
ReplyDeleteI say True -- we're a better team based on their performance today
BigEZ, give us some score/stat updates while you're up there.
ReplyDeleteListening to the Memphis v Maryland game.....Maryland players must've forgotten that they talked smack this week
ReplyDeleteWe were better than a few teams in the tournament, but the tournament is not set up to have the best 65 teams. It's set up to have a group of teams who have the talent to win a national title, and a group of teams who can excite the fans and win a game or two.
ReplyDeleteAuburn didn't have the talent to win a national title, and we weren't one of the little guys that could bring excitement with a sweet 16 run.
It looks like Memphis came to play today.
ReplyDeleteI agree Barkley -- I'm not crying foul that we're not in...just stating that I think we would have beat UCLA today. Not many times in my life that I can make that statement in hoops.
ReplyDeleteMemphis up 53-30 in the first half.
ReplyDeleteMemphis up 53-30 in the first half.
ReplyDeleteChocolate chip cookies, ahhh.
ReplyDeleteoooo I wish I had a Chocolate chip cookie.... mmmm
ReplyDeleteAfternoon Hotties - gatiger is home again. I know you're pleased.
ReplyDeleteWar Eagle, Hotties! I hope you're feeling a little by now, Jay G. The Lady Tigers kicked some Mountain Hawk butt! I just checked my bracket and Harrison and I are still in the running! Congrats to she said who is currently in 2nd place!
ReplyDeleteJet-I'm thinking either Coldstone Creamery or Marble Slab or Brusters later tonight.
ReplyDeleteTodays games have all been duds so far.
ReplyDeleteBottomof 2nd in Auburn and we are down 3-1.
ReplyDeletejust picked up some ben and jerry's chocalate macadamia--this can't be bad.
ReplyDeleteHaqggert two run tater. 3-3 bottom of 2nd.
ReplyDeleteacyaully it was Hargett.
ReplyDeleteI kinda like Memphis kicking some elitist smack talking ACC butt...that being said. that's as far as my love for C-USA goes. The conference sucks, the refs suck, and Memphis even being in it is bobo.
ReplyDeleteAnyone got a baseball score?John Luke Jacobs's stats? Ding Dongs?
ReplyDeleteThanks WTC, didn't see your posts.
ReplyDeleteJust baked the cookies ... have "The Great Divide" -- Blue Bell vanilla and chocolate halfsies in the carton.
ReplyDeleteThat will be dessert tonight after I cook burgers on the grill for Turbo, Stewardess, and this guy who seems to be hanging around the house as the Stewardess' appendage. This is new, disturbing territory.
Very disturbing.
WTC ...
ReplyDeleteI always endorse Brusters.
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh how I would LOVE to see Jet being a Daddy. HAHAHA
ReplyDeleteYou be nice to that sweet boy, Jet.
I am doomed.
ReplyDeleteUConn has scored 48, 55 and 51 in three halves of play.
Of course, I picked them to win it all. They are peaking way too soon.
Maybe I need to shoot Calhoun. Win one for the coach thing.
Get used to the appendage hanging around. I tried to take one as a deduction on my taxes this year. Maybe I should let my daughter jnow I really like him. I think that may run him off.
ReplyDeleteEZ,
ReplyDeleteYou need to change to AUPD to the Ding Dong Deck. Make a big sign saying as much, and have numbers you can hang to keep a running tally throughout the season.
No dice, Monica. He's a Bammer. Possibly a Bamzo. This remains a bone of contention between me and the Stewardess.
ReplyDeleteI thought the shovel and the shotgun standing together in the corner by the front door was a nice touch.
Mistake, Daddy. You're going to drive that child right into the arms of that school in tuscaloozer.
ReplyDeletePeter-Jacobs is pitching and he has given up 4 hits. No long balls though for ARK.
ReplyDeleteBottom of 3rd. Still 3-3.
ha @ using the appendage as a tax deduction - nice one, Scotty
ReplyDeleteoops that was WTC, not Scotty
ReplyDeletesorry :-)
Later Hotties.
ReplyDeleteMon - you were absolutely right about Tetons.
ReplyDeleteuconn has been killing people of late. that's why my bracket will crumble if they don't win it all.
ReplyDeleteJet,
ReplyDeleteForget the shotgun. Get a large knife, think Bowie. Let him see you frequently sharpening it and eyeing him.
I'm with you, no Bamers near my girls.
My bracket's already starting to crumble. I thought Maryland could make a bit of a run.
ReplyDeleteI have UConn losing to Duke in the final.
A slightly crazy look while sharpening the knife might help.
ReplyDeleteAt the end of 4, still 3-3.
ReplyDeleteI hope Wake Forest burns to the ground
ReplyDeleteAU changes pitchers. Still 3-3. Ark has runners on 1 & 2 with 0 outs.
ReplyDelete5th inning?
ReplyDeleteWe could not hold'em. 5-3 ARK going to the bottom of the 6th.
ReplyDeleteH Morris with a solo shot. 5-4 bottom 6th, 1 out.
ReplyDeletedouble play. after 6 5-4 ark.
ReplyDeleteAll 5 runs charged to Jacobs, or were some unearned?
ReplyDelete4 charged to jacobs.
ReplyDeleteJacobs line:
ReplyDelete5 innings
5 hits
4 earned runs
6 k's
4 bb
2 hbp
You still on the road?
Yep. getting close, though.
ReplyDeleteUpdate:
ReplyDeleteStewardess attacked me with water hose in backyard. Soaked me head to toe.
Stewardess' appendage to get the full show tonight ... top 10 most embarrassing stories to start.
Should be fun.
Not a great outting by JLJ, huh? The thing is, though, that if there was a deep, dependae bullpen, Auburn would be in almost every game with a start like that.
ReplyDelete1st & 2nd 1 out, bottom of 7th
ReplyDeleteha Jet. He's either going to become your best friend or be terrified of you. Either outcome sounds like mission accomplished.
ReplyDeletebases loaded 1 out
ReplyDeletefamily jst rolled in for the beach, guess who pulled right behind them. How did he know they were getting home at thi time?
ReplyDeleteJet-Godfather on AMC.
ReplyDeleteC'mon DING DONG!
ReplyDeleteARK pitching change
ReplyDeleteSanders switha single and two runs score.
ReplyDeleteWDE, Joltin' Joe!
ReplyDeleteHope you get to feeling better Jay!
ReplyDeleteGood game ladies! Hope they're ready for a tough one in the round of 32.
Hope everybody that can will be at the game on Tuesday night!
War Eagle and go Heels..beat the piss out of LSU!
Thanks for the heads up, WTC.
ReplyDeleteI am of a mind to treat Stewardess' boyfriend and future boyfriends the way Michael treated Connie's interests in The Godfather, Part II.
6-5 AU after 7.
ReplyDeleteI think Turbo Prop needs a larger role, Jet.
ReplyDeletehubbard replaces Hendrix on the mound.
ReplyDeleteTurboProp would be more the style of the "settling all family business" with the Five Families.
ReplyDeleteHe's working on his plan to implode Denny Chimes.
ARK 1st & 2nd no outs.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of using Austin for more than one inning. I understand there are options to rest him, but I believe 3 outs are enough for the closer.
ReplyDeleteARK with a single two runs score 7-6 ARK
ReplyDeleteAlright, just pulled through the neighborhood gate. First 200 miles flew by today, but these lasy 430 did not. Thanks to WTC for baseball updates, and Jay G and the Hotties for basketball coverage that got me through a long lonely drive .
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it home.
ReplyDeleteAU has 1st & 2nd with 0 outs in the bottom of the 8th.
Nothing in the eigth.
ReplyDeletePeter-do youlive in Tampa?
ReplyDeleteI think he lives down in South Florida.
ReplyDeleteI am in Tampa.
LSU is giving UNC all they can handle, I still expect UNC to pull away as the game goes on.
wheels come off. Ark 10-6 going to bottomof 9th.
ReplyDeletewhen daughter was younger we went to disney three time per yearuntil my child turned 14, then it cut backto about 1 or two. They loved it. I took one for the team every time. Long trip each time. gald they are into other things now.
ReplyDeletegame over 10-6 ARK. Can't make your closer go two innings.
ReplyDeleteNice work today, wtc!
ReplyDeleteI was following during mowing breaks. Much appreciation to wtc.
ReplyDeletenice work despite the illness JG. had a full list of honey-dos after work this morning. just catching up. i love me some twitter!
ReplyDeletegotta start supper. lsu destroyed my tattered bracket, but they hung for a short bit.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, GA! So glad you got the view of the Tetons.
ReplyDeleteI've got to say, I enjoy the commercials during tourney time more than superbowl commercials.
ReplyDeleteWar Eagle
ReplyDeleteI Hate Bama
Amen brother, may hate fill your soul, and never cease.
ReplyDeleteSigned Wakerier, your brother in hate
War Eagle.
What a heartbreaker for Western Kentucky
ReplyDeleteehyou ...
ReplyDeleteI join you in your hate. Death to the Infidels!
As for W. Ky., how many times does it happen ... a team scores with less than 10 seconds to go and then watches a guy go the distance with the ball to win.
As for Duke, it's amazing ... no wonder they're the Devils, they've made a devil pact.
And Duke keeps my faint hopes alive.
ReplyDeleteI know jet, its like they score, then get so excited they forget all about defense. WKU hardly even tried to stop them.
ReplyDeleteYou've got to make the guy pass. Shoot, you're almost better to foul on the inbounds play .. not really.
ReplyDeleteIt looked like there 1.1 when the ball went through. Not giving the TO was rather weak of the officials.
Well, it's a been a full day for me.
ReplyDeleteYou kids have a restful evening.
Slow night, considering the good games on CBS tonight.
ReplyDeleteGoodnight all.
So I guess I'll keep the late night HABOTN crunk going?
ReplyDeleteJay, will you email me that pic of Keek next to Alli? I would LOVE to have it.
ReplyDeletePlzThxBai,
shesaid
jfasdlkfjasdkfjkalds;
ReplyDeletejhag, you will not get the last word!

ReplyDeleteShane Wasdin
ReplyDeletejhag= charles barkley mode
ReplyDeleteshesaid = Pat Dye mode
ReplyDeleteMan, I am glad there isn't an expiration date on the ROF induction. I didn't see that one coming. I have been busy busy busy these days. Lots of drama. More than I need. Thank you for all of your support. Now, who do I talk to about learning the secret handshake?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, shesaid, has anyone ever told you you have Betty Davis eyes?
ReplyDeleteFor all you twitter folks

Way to represent, JHag and Shesaid. Gotta say, Shesaid, you're even spookier looking at 2:30 a.m.
ReplyDeleteAfter the games last night, I watched the "true crime" show that came on after the hoops.
It was a woman charged with staging her husband's suicide.
After ignoring Mrs. Jet all day watching hoops, I didn't sleep very well.
Good Morning, Hotties! Sorry you didn't sleep well last night, Jet. I didn't get to watch any of the Tourney yesterday because we were too busy with household chores. YUCK!
ReplyDeleteI just checked the HABOTN Hotties bracket and Harrison has quietly moved up to 3rd! Alas, I'm still in 13th, though.
Texas A&M must have forgotten they were supposed to pull the upset yesterday..
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteHopefully my brackets wont be as destroyed today as they were yesterday.
ReplyDeleteSyracuse is a damn good basketball team, too bad they got in UNC Region of they would be in the final 4 IMO.
ReplyDeleteI have Syracuse in my Final 4.
ReplyDeleteThat's probably not a good sign for them.
That's a good call, gov.
ReplyDeleteJohnie Flynn is rediculous
ReplyDeleteYou catch the Duke game last night, jhag?
ReplyDeleteThey almost let that lead slip away. The Nova game should be a good one.
Hoopie is currently is 56th place and would have to be nearly perfect from here on out to win. That is consistent with his basketball accumen.
ReplyDeleteHarrison (currently in 3rd place) has the same final 4 as Hoopie therefore blocking a miraculous comeback sans perfection.
This is written in 3rd person as acknowledgement of Harrison's dominance.
Jet - i saw that 48 hours last night too - i woke up this morning and thanked my wife for not shooting me in the head and staging it as a suicide. btw - I think her boyfriend did it while she was walking in the dark.
ReplyDeleteLooks like I'll see the top four seeds play in Memphis Friday
ReplyDeleteBasketball = Salad
ReplyDeleteQuite tasty and I do enjoy it but leaves a little something to be desired....
Football = Rib-eye & Baked Potato
Bona fide soul satisfaction.
Ugh. I'm the girls Head powderpuff Coach at school, I have practice today...it suck I don;t know what the hell to do with girls that have never touched a football before
ReplyDeletejhag, first tell them that you're playing shirts and skins...and they gotta skin off...
ReplyDeletethen you gotta figure out who you're most athletic ones are, the fastest one, and the 1 girl who can actually throw, and the 1 or maybe 2 that can catch...
then draw up a few simple plays...
alright, that's the plan...im gonna make the field muddy as well.
ReplyDeleteGood stuff right here... Marcus Lattimore out of Byrens HS in South Carolina is 4th in the nation overall....
ReplyDeleteHe wrote to Tyrik Rollison on facebook..
"wasup homie? I talk to coach lupier about u he spoke highly of u and i already know u a beast.....what your cell number?"
GOOD STUFF!
Hoopie ...
ReplyDeleteWe are TOO much alike. I happen to agree with your "invalid negative specutlation" regarding the boyfriend. Our bracket selection is apparently in the same neighborhood as well.
JHag ...
ReplyDeleteSeems to me you need to bring in DMiller as your offensive coordinator. I'm sure he has a System or something in his trunk he could use.
I'm a little embarrassed to admit the new movie with John Cena looks pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI did coach the Chi O intramural team in college...
ReplyDeleteCome on down Dmiller, stay in lovely Coral Springs.
ReplyDeleteturn the page
ReplyDelete
