First post: Tuesday

Hey everyone. Welcome to Day Seven of Auburn's fall camp, which leads us to the team's first scrimmage. This will be Practice Eight. It looks like a nice day here in central Alabama, so I am not expecting any weather-related delays.

Here's the Auburn situation at this moment:

TODAY'S SCHEDULE
Today is a one-practice day. The Tigers are scrimmaging in Jordan-Hare Stadium, which coaches hope will bring clarity to some of the positional battles. That event begins around 5:30 p.m. I'll be busy after 9 or so ... getting notes posted and, hopefully, uploading some post-scrimmage video reaction.

Also, please pick up the Advertiser's print edition if you live around here! Our fine Auburn coverage is only one element of our award-winning product.

  3. Great article on Emory BLake, Jay. We were in Cincinnati when his dad played for the Bengals. Very classy guy. Very positive force in the community.

  4. Cool, CT. I didn't know anything about Big Blake other than the fact he was a decent quarterback ...

  5. jay-I think today will be moving day for a couple of QB's. I'mthinking the race is cut down to two.

How do you feel about that?

  6. I also like the idea that guys are volunteering to get on special teams. I would like to see some bruisers (like LB's but we don't have many)get on there and not just guys that are speedsters.
now you know why UAT recruits so many of them. Most are on special teams.

  7. Excellent articles Jay. I am kind of fascinated with Blake. It is going to be interesting to see how he does.

On the fumbles and ints, it would be great to find our who committed them.
