    ReplyDelete
  23. Dixon killed us in '07, we can't afford to give him another opportunity.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Tate and FAH both over 100 yards again.

    479 total yards so far.

Todd 9/22 150 yards. So not the best day from the QB, but no mistakes.

    ReplyDelete
  68. And Kodi can throw the ball with some air under it.

Last year he couldn't make that throw.

    ReplyDelete
  69. How much more fun has it been watching these two games than last year? Law ha mercy.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Quick observation:

Anyone notice how these coaches (Ted Roof, especially) continue to "coach" long after the play is over?

Roof will meet these guys on the field as they're finishing a three and out. Compliments, I'm sure--but also taking advantage of teachable moments.

Very different than the last group.

    ReplyDelete
  71. anybody else's game freeze up lame

    ReplyDelete
  72. I noticed that with roof and bates in the 3rd... nice change of pace.... a coach that coaches..

    ReplyDelete
  73. There is SO much that is different. I love it. Reynolds, hope you've had a chance to watch Auburn Football: Every Day -it's awesome

    Where is Nick Fairley???

    ReplyDelete
  74. What the hell was that?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Monica,

    I agree completely.

Last year's team never would've recovered from the blocked punt.

    No way in the world.

    ReplyDelete
  76. OK the D looks like they are playing sand lot ball

    ReplyDelete
  77. No freezing here, Snow. You watching online or TV?

    ReplyDelete
  78. push 'em back, push 'em back...way back

    ReplyDelete
  79. will someone remindthe defense that we are still playing the game here

    ReplyDelete
  80. this QB is wide eyed...

    ReplyDelete
  81. I'd really REALLY like a few more Auburn touchdowns.

Not to be greedy or anything..

    ReplyDelete
  82. Gameplan here too and no freeze.

    ReplyDelete
  83. What in the HOLY HELL was that Gatorade commercial about?

I'm going to have nightmares for weeks..

    ReplyDelete
  84. No problems here with the telecast.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Dear Leader - You and me. We're gonna rumble after the game. You better strap up.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I don't know how many games we are going to win this year, but it sure seems like AU football is fun again.

    ReplyDelete
  87. This week I've learned during commercial timeouts that I cannot live without a Polaris Ranger RZR and that cows really hate chickens.

    ReplyDelete
  88. 1st team still in, darn it.

    ReplyDelete
  89. amen brutha freep

    ReplyDelete
  90. we really only have a 1st team

1st teams and some other dudes that just step in for breather breaks

    ReplyDelete
  91. I think Wanda Sykes is AC's Mama. That would make me love him even more.

    ReplyDelete
  92. He took that cowboy for a ride

    ReplyDelete
  93. air it out... send it deep on a flea flicker

    ReplyDelete
  94. The last time AU had 2 100 yard rushers? Last week

    ReplyDelete
  95. This is the first time in history that Auburn has two 100-yard rushers and a 100-yard receiver in the same game.

    ReplyDelete
  96. If there is some way, ANY way we can keep this coaching staff together for three years (at least)...

Damn. We could have something amazing on The Plains..

    ReplyDelete
  97. OK, how many of you have really big smiles on your faces right at this moment?

    ReplyDelete
  98. itold you they read this blog

    ReplyDelete
  99. JGT they will be here... they all have 3 year contracts =0)

    ReplyDelete
  100. Reynolds - Nobody will agree with me, BUT I believe they will stick together until they win something they think is huge. Maybe that will only take 3 years.

    ReplyDelete
  101. This is bigger than a smile.....more like nirvana!

    ReplyDelete
  102. If Malzahn keeps this up they will offer him the Notre Dame job at the end of the year... darn it!

    ReplyDelete
  103. And Jordan with the dunk.

    ReplyDelete
  104. is CGM Catholic? I know he is a deep christian....

    ReplyDelete
  105. No, he is not Catholic

    ReplyDelete
  106. Auburn at 555 yards of offense.

    ReplyDelete
  107. He is definitely not Catholic.

    ReplyDelete
  108. We are 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 times better than we were last year...yes we are!

    ReplyDelete
  109. If Malzahn leaves, I want Dr. Dre as our offensive coordinator.

He's rockin' the Dr. Pepper commercials.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Safety

    OSU 12
    USC 10

    ReplyDelete
  111. I think they all will stay at least one more year..

    ReplyDelete
  120. Those are 3 of my favorite words, Zteven.

    ReplyDelete
  121. only 74 offensive plays. Malzahn is gonna hit the roof... but not Ted

    ReplyDelete
  122. Done.

    Thank YOU, T'Sharvan Bell!!

    ReplyDelete
  123. That is one happy dude

    ReplyDelete
  124. I think I have a man-crush on CGM.

    ReplyDelete
  125. MAYUN he is strawng!

    ReplyDelete
  126. I love you Coach Luper.

    ReplyDelete
  132. caudle throws a block

    ReplyDelete
  133. Zteven I sent you an email. I'm telling you here because I know you rarely check that account.

    Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  134. we could have 3 100 yard rushers tonight.... ok maybe not

    ReplyDelete
  135. T'Sharvan Bell is having an amazing game here according to ESPN.

5/11 passing for 77 yards, 6 for 43 yards rushing, and 4 receptions for 60 yards, and 6 kickoff returns for 152 yards.

    http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?&gameId=292550002&refresh=60

    ReplyDelete
  136. that would have been crazy had he made that catch

    ReplyDelete
  137. I don't like that version of the freeze play. QB is going to get killed one of these days.

    ReplyDelete
  138. geezz get fannin to 100

    ReplyDelete
  139. That would have been pretty!

    ReplyDelete
  140. Here's your fast fact for the day:

AU offensive TDs vs MSU, 2009 = 6
AU offensive TDs vs MSU, 2006-2008 = 6

    ReplyDelete
  141. Im gonna do better with the email, Monica. I promise

    ReplyDelete
  142. Bring on the Mountaineers

    ReplyDelete
  143. I am surprised they did not play up the knox thing on tv...

I do not recall seeing him one time.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I am feeling awesome, I feel I could take on that army of dust bunnies now!

    ReplyDelete
  145. Knox was in shock. He didnt know receivers were supposed to catch!

    ReplyDelete
  146. good night all you JGT groooop-e's

    ReplyDelete
  147. That was kinda ugly. I should delete.... nah. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  148. Even better fast fact:

AU offensive TDs through first 2 games under Gus Malzahn = 10

AU offensive TDs through entire tenure of Tony Franklin = 10

    ReplyDelete
  149. Someone posted earlier that last years team would have died after the blocked kick, and you are right.

However last years team would have lost t his game. Being up 14-0 then falling behind 17-14 was almost every game we played last year.

    ReplyDelete
  150. We were 15 yards short of a school record for rushing yards, and this was the first time in school history that we have had 2, hundred yard rushers, in two straight games.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Kool-aid anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  152. Just went back and recounted.

We played 12 games last year and scored a grand total of 18 offensive TDs.

We have scored 10 offensive TDs in our first two games in 2009.

Despite us playing with essentially the same personnel (minus Brad Lester, Tristan Davis, Rod Smith and Chris Slaughter, who accounted for 8 of those 18 TDs in '08).

    Damn.

    ReplyDelete
  153. When is the last time we scored 49 against MSU? I can't remember it ever happening.

    ReplyDelete
  154. That record is amazing considering we've had backfields of...

    Williams/Brown

    Bo/L-Train/Agee
    Bo/Agee/Fullwood
    Brooks/Andrews
    Brooks/Cribbs

    Davis/Bostic

    ReplyDelete
  155. War Damn Eagle Hotties. It's official. Tony Franklin is a dumb A. 3 points vs. 48, with the same qb.

    ReplyDelete
  156. We've scored in the 40's against them a lot.

I think probably 94 or so we beat them 49-21 or something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  157. If we can make it to 4-0 then there is an 87% chance that we win at least 8 games. The game next week may be one of the biggest of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Where are the complaints about no playmakers on offense? It seems we had them last year. We just didn't use them.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Whoops, it was actually 19 TDs in 2008.

Of course 3 of those came against 1-AA UT-Martin.

    ReplyDelete
  160. 94 41-14

    95 48-20

    96 49-15

    02 42-14

    03 45-13

    04 43-14

    ReplyDelete
  161. OK, deep breath.

Only thing we have proven is that we are better than LA Tech and MSU, which we all assumed prior to the season anyway.

One week at a time. Right?

    ReplyDelete
